This is not just a florist shop, it's a florist shop that cares about the quality of its product it sells, the presentation of the items to the buyer but as well gives very honest advice so the customer knows they are getting their monies worth. The owner of this establishment is not as some others would say, not professional or not courteous, he goes above and beyond. Experience it for your self, don't let negative reviews rule who you shop with.

Jack is an amazing florist and his work involves way more than just flowers. He is always open to working with clients to personalize gifts and I received a beautiful customized Christmas wreath for Christmas. Definitely a small town gem ????

Stopped in on a whim for a flower arrangement for a friend, and was not disappointed! Gave the owner an idea of what I was after and he created something beautiful with lots of colour, and a little aroma. Just enough to brighten the room, but not too much to put someone off! Entrusted Jack at J&J with flowers for my Mom's funeral. I had ordered flowers from him from afar in the past, and had been pleased with the result. In the case of my Mom's funeral he was very sensitive and understanding, and did a great job of interpreting our design specs. The resulting flower arrangements were gorgeous. I highly recommend this florist and would not hesitate to work with him again.

$14 for 1 standard-sized round Mylar helium balloon and 2 standard helium latex balloons! I am absolutely in favour of supporting local, small businesses, especially during such uncertain times, but I absolutely do not stand for being taken advantage of! Shame on me for paying such an outrageous price; but when a parent is in absolute desperation with a 2 yr old, one will do outrageous things! I was too lazy to make the 14 minute drive to the dollar store where I could have received 6 Mylar (foil) balloons for the same price! Also! Fresh flowers are over priced for what you get. Flowers were fresh, but presentation was mediocre at best; considering this man claims to have prepared flowers for the White House!? I have worked in the Horticultural industry now for over 20 years, including floral and wedding design, so I’d like to think my opinion resonates.

Very dissatisfied in the service. Asked for an arrangement for an engagement party. First off was expecting a lot more for 80$$ than just 6 flowers thrown together in a bouquet with what seemed to be no effort, you would probably find a more tidy arrangement at 7/11. Not to mention 20$ being a delivery fee to which they were basically dumped on the porch and stepped on. No one waited to even see if it was received. Even though I relayed that someone would be there. I would take my money else where, no value, no effort. Buyer Beware

A very disappointing and rude experience. The owner was extremely rude on the phone - I couldn’t believe it !! I cancelled my order, which he confirmed, and now will not give me my money back. Unfortunately having to involve my bank as he won’t respond to me at all. Really surprising experience and would recommend you STAY AWAY!!!

I would give 0 stars, if I could. Take your money and go to any of the local greenhouses in the area. You'll receive 4x the value for half the price you would pay to this place. Not worth the money!!!! Too embarrassed to gift this awful bouquet and will not display in my home, so it's gone right into the trash. Just a bunch of odds and ends thrown together without any effort, even though I was very specific with my request. What a disappointment!!!

I just asked him to create two standards for the Jewish New Year for our Synagogue and the feedback from the congregation was incredible. Everyone remarked to me how beautiful they are. This is a florist shop that you will fall in love with, great quality product so you know you are getting your money's worth. The way he does up everything you request is done so professional. This establishment is one of the few who believes in the product he sells to be something even more then what you are looking for and the owner was so helpful and honest about everything.

So...I live in Fonthill and I try to shop locally to help the business people during this incredible difficult time. I could have called J & J florist, but I thought I would go in, browse and do a very covid friendly, mask on , 6' away visit. I wanted to order a $70 ish fresh flower arrangement to be delivered tomorrow to St Catharines. There was two other people in the store .very large store...I walked toward the counter and the ( I assume owner) , sent the other gentleman away in a different section. I said I could wait until that customer was finished. The owner said, in a very harsh, nasty tone, no, that he couldn't have two people in the same area as he would be fined $10,000. I said, well, we are wearing masks, 6' apart (by now I am the only customer within 20')? and I think that is allowed? There were 3 of us and I couldn't even see the others. Well, he went a little crazy, told me he will not have a customer walk into his business and tell him what to do!! I simply said I am leaving..He asid get out, get out now!!! Oh, am did I mention I am a senior? No threat here??? I have never, ever, been treated like this as a customer and I will never go back or order flowers from a third party that may use their services. Horrible experience...I was upset the rest of the day! I called the Watering Can Florist that made all the flowers for our daughter and our sons weddings ..just absolutely beautiful. So much for supporting your community. Shame on your behavior!

Humiliated. Ordered flowers. They never came. I was the only one without flowers for our mother at our family dinner yesterday. Follow up: Since the first review above, the "arrangement" arrived the next day, today. Our company long gone, the event is over, no need for flowers. Called the company, they blame a third party for the mistake and will do nothing to compensate. No refund, no store credit. FURTHERMORE, the arrangement does NOT match the online photo or the description. SPRING SMILES ARRANGEMENT Is gorgeous in photos, with 6 fresh yellow tulips. In reality, they give you zero tulips. Buyer Beware

Love Jack's personality. He says what's on his mind, wish more people did. I just started shopping here last year during his Christmas open house. I love the fact you don't see the same things in his store as you do everywhere else. I bought the family of geese and will admire them for years to come.
