I live outside of Canada and ordered a bouquet of flowers for mom’s bday to be delivered on her birthday. To be honest, I only had disappointing experiences with other flower shops so my expectation for this delivery was not very high. This time around, I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience!! The customer service was great and the bouquet was gorgeous! My only instructions were that mom likes yellow flowers and the bouquet had just the right amount of yellow without making it be too much..I will definitely keep you as my flower shop of choice. I use forest of flowers for all of my floral needs. I usually use the London locations or the Missisauga location and this was the first time I had to use the Oakville location- needless to say the service at this location is pretty terrible. They have no communication skills and spring things on you right before your delivery is supposed to be made leaving you to make a last minute decision to a) either find a new florist or b) to have your delivery made the following day- when its birthday flowers that wont work. I am surprised to have gotten such subpar service because the reviews for this location are fantastic. I hope it was a one off situation and that no one else has this problem but it has left a bad taste with me and I wont be using them again.

First of all the customer service is amazing, your greeted with a smile and not approached as an extra task. Friendly atmosphere from all staff and good quality flowers used, not ones that will die quickly. The location is convenient and so are the hours, that's right no banker hours here and it gets better they actually have sales and a rewards program. If you live in KW or close to the highway, just shop here, it's well worth your money!

Fully recommend this florist! I was a walk in needing a colourful bouquet. They offered me ready made or custom arrangements. I chose custom and was able to choose the vas, and flowers. He suggested flowers for the vas that where perfect too. It's refreshing to know you can have as much or as little creative control with the same level of customer service! It's been a week since I gifted the flowers and they still look perfect. That's the best part!

I have been their fan from a long time. Love the Mississauga location and now this location at Kitchener is already impressing me!!! Spoke to Ashley this morning over the phone to book an order for bouquet. She is amazing and very helpful! Thanks Ashley ???? So here it goes - Order - you need to order via phone since they are not accepting in store customers. You need to very specific and have patience. They are equally patient and really help you making right choices for the arrangements. ???? Fresh Flowers - they get fresh flower every Tuesday of the week. Also, sometimes they get it on Friday if there are a lot of orders. So the best day to place an order Tuesdays and Fridays, you can get their freshest flowers. ???? Lily - we love Lilies and to add more, there are 2 kinds of Lilies they have. The small ones and big ones. Wait for Tuesday if you would like the large ones. Also, they smell amazing!!!! Prices - they have always been reasonable and affordable since last 2 years. I trust them and they are my only choice and go to spot for fresh flowers!!! You can also get gift certificates (discount coupons) if you are lucky!!! ???? Note - they generally do not sell Vase separately so the cost of Vase would be included with the arrangement. I was charged $20 for the Vase. Preparation time - this where I would like to make a request!!! Pls add more specialists!!! The preparation time can vary from 20 mins to 1 hr depending on how busy they get. So, pls make sure you check the store timings before you call for pickup. The delivery definitely is a great option as well if you are not surprising anyone. Delivery - their delivery charge is $10 for each delivery. Not sure what's the charge if you have multiple arrangements being delivered. Pls add to the comments below if you have an idea. Further, pls note there are 3 delivery time slots so pls call well ahead before you miss your time slot. Location - their location is a bit tricky to get to if you are driving south on Ottawa St South. The left turn you have to take is earlier than the signal that you would see. I am adding a video here just to make sure you would understand what am I talking about. I am not able to attach any pictures except from what the location looks like from the outside and the video as described above.

I sent to my friend who needed cheering up and she texted later that the flower arrangement was absolutely beautiful!

We used FOF for a funeral and a wedding in 2019. Unfortunately, our experience with FOF did not meet expectations. For the funeral, we had reviewed a catalog of arrangements and was promised our arrangements would look similar to the catalog, albeit different flowers and colours. The flowers ended up being delivered on the wrong date and had to be redelivered (due to a miscommunication on our end). However, in the first delivery, the funeral director was appalled at the quality of flowers and sent us pictures to review. When we looked at them, honestly, the flowers looked like they were dying, which is not what you want at a funeral. When we went to FOF to try to correct it for the second delivery, they were defensive and told us "all white roses have brown edges" and that it was unreasonable to expect our flowers to look close to the catalog, despite promises of it during purchase. The roses looked worse than the Costco white roses. They even compared our expectations to that of expectations for McDonald's burgers which doesn't live up to the advertisements. We were extremely frustrated at having to discuss the issue with them for over half an hour before they would agree to a compromise to resolve the issue. It was not something anyone should be dealing with while planning a funeral. Ultimately, they did agree to replace the dying flowers but tried to charge us for them which was not reasonable. Too bad we had already placed the deposit with them for the wedding; otherwise, we would not have returned. Their pricing is decent and I think it is unfortunately reflected in their quality. I would not recommend them for the lower quality of flowers, as well as frustrating customer experience when trying to fix a problem.

Much like the newest reviews.. I placed an order on Thursday 5/6 for Mothers Day delivery on 5/9. I received a confirmation from the company that the flowers would be delivered & I even spoke to a customer service rep via phone to confirm before purchasing. Yesterday, 5/8 at 6pm, I received a cancellation email with no explanation & no call. Everywhere else was closed & it was too late for me to make new delivery arrangements. This is absolutely unacceptable for Mother’s Day & now no one is answering the phone...

I received flowers for my birthday. The vase was meant to be full of rocks, but instead there were about 5 rocks at the bottom. The flowers were still very pretty and very appreciated, but I just wish the advertising photos online matched the actual product more closely. We have contacted Petals and Pots and the situation has been dealt with, but I would still like to warn others to double check their orders is all. :)

I recently went into the Oakville store to order a 50th wedding anniversary flower arrangement. Phillip was most helpful in suggesting flowers, and the right glass vase. The arrangement was delivered at the requested time, and the 50 yellow roses were beautiful! I just had to go into the store and tell them how much this was appreciated. I have used the Oakville store several times, and will continue to do so.

I had a project to do for school that required photo references taken by me. I decided I wanted my subject to be flowers, and so I decided to go here to get that done. After the staff cleared it with the boss, they brought out flower after flower for me to photograph. I was overjoyed because they even tried to find similar flower to the ones I was looking for when they didn't have them in stock. I tried to tip them but they snuck my twenty back into my book when I wasn't looking. I found it the next day when the twenty fell into my lap during class. I really appreciated it because they put in a lot of work to help me and I didn't even buy anything. I regret that I didn't get the names of the two employees, but thank you for being so accomodating.

I ordered valentine flowers for 13th feb same day delivery on their website.A guy called me at 5pm that due to bad weather they cannot deliver today and it will be delivered tomorrow 14th Feb by 2pm.I was like fair enough, the weather is kinda bad although I myself have done deliveries for ups in worse weather than we had yesterday.But I thought no worries tomorrow by 2pm will be fine too..Now its 6pm and no sign of any delivery and their shop is closed..I hope ill get my refund tomorrow and I'm not sure if I'll use their services in future.

I booked flowers on Amazon which was delivered through this place. Even though I specified the date of delivery I got a call 7 days prior saying flowers will be delivered today. When I explained that the birthday is not today the person on the phone became extremely rude. And I got another call saying the flowers will be delivered today and they really don’t care right day or not and didn’t even apologize for the fact. It’s not the customers fault that the instructions don’t come through to you guys from Amazon. If you’re getting customers from Amazon you have to make sure you’re doing it right. The whole experience was so negative.

Highly recommended. First, I went in only 2 minutes before closing time on Good Friday (Easter), despite this, and unlike most places, the woman behind the counter, who I believe was the owner, welcomed me with a huge and friendly smile. She took the time to meet my needs, was knowledgeable and friendly. The flowers were then delivered the next day on time as I asked and the flower arrangement was just as beautiful as in the picture found in their website. Easy process to order online. Delivered on time, greatly appreciated. The flowers were beautiful. Only downside was the vase was not as advertised. We do canning of food, so a pink mason was a funny twist which could be kept as a mememto of the day. Instead, we received a plain glass mason jar. As a vase for flowers, this is disappointing.

Ordered Mother's Day flowers on Friday May 7 for delivery on Sunday May 9. My credit card was charged and received a confirmation email. On Saturday May 8 my order was cancelled via automated email. There was no explanation for the cancellation and no talk about my credit card being refunded. Very embarrassing to explain to my mother what had happened. Extremely disappointed.

Had a terranium delivered to a friend for a birthday present and I was extremely dissapointed with it. The arrangement had absolutely no colour and looked like everything had just been thrown in a bowl with some sand, then had been rolling around in the backseat by the time it got to her. Although ordering the flowers from Forest of Flowers was very easy due to their streamlined website; unfortunately the customer service aspect of my experience was really negative. On the website it asks for delivery instructions - when I had originally filled this out I had made an error. I called Forest of Flowers to notify them of my error and the individual who answered the phone was extremely rude. They informed me that they didn't have time to take the correct details as they had over 200 deliveries scheduled for that day. It is great that they are so busy; however as a customer I felt very disrespected and that my business did not matter to them. I understand that I made the initial error and that I ordered the flowers for Mother's Day; however I still expected to be treated with respect.

Really big mistake that should never happen.... for a funeral arrangement. I had ordered a bereavement wreath for my Father in-laws celebration of life a week before we needed it. When I arrived, they did not have this ready. The person in the store told me that I had ordered it for the following day. I advised them, that I was really clear with my instructions and that we in fact needed this for today. I even called earlier to see what time they were open until that day and nothing was mentioned. We were on our way to set up the hall we had rented, I had to tell my spouse to leave me at the flower shop and head to the hall so he could set up and I could stay and wait for the arrangement to be made. The store owner found my ticket which clearly said that it was to be ready the day I was there. They quick rushed the order together, which showed when they presented me the final product. They did put additional flowers on the wreath, but it was still a very rush job and it showed. The gentleman whom I believe is the owner apologized many times, but did not once offer to discount the $170 wreath that was paid ahead of time. This was an emotional day already, and not having this ready really added to the stresses of the day.

If you want to surprise your significant other with flowers... Use someone else. They called my wife to make sure she was home and to confirm the address (which they also got wrong). I've ordered flowers delivered over 20 times and this has never happened. I even ordered flowers delivered to our cottage during Covid and this didn't happen! I also asked for Gerber Daisy's and I got 3... Zehrs flowers have far outlasted the bunch she got as well, 3 days and they looked pretty dead. Save your money, go to Zehrs, pick out your own and deliver them yourself for half the price and twice the surprise.

I explained that I wanted them to make a custom arrangement for me as soon as they could because I was going home to my gf to surprise on her our anniversary. I finally went to the store to pick it up myself and they could not find my order but assured me it was coming. They pointed to a stack of orders. This review starts with the disappointment of having my wife's Valentine's Day bouquet of roses refusing to open up at all. I contacted the Oakville store via email with a picture of the problematic bouquet. Within 15 minutes I get a response which said to come by and get a fresh bouquet as everything is 100% guaranteed. To get a response at all in 15 minutes is a miracle these days, but to have the merchant stand behind their offerings is also refreshing. Picked up a new bouquet and they are opening just beautifully. My wife is happy and that makes me happy. Great store, staff and ownership.

I had flowers delivered to me from Petals& Pots more than 2 weeks ago, and I'm just letting you know that I'm still enjoying them! Amazing! Of course I've had to cull a few (i.e. the Tulip, Baby's Breath) but there is still some left for me to enjoy. Wonderful!

I highly recommend this florist. We ordered flowers online for our mother’s birthday. The flowers looked very beautiful, elegant and great quality with a competitive price. I have dealt with other florists for online flower orders and alot of times the flowers delivered do not match the pictures on the website. But with Forest of Flowers we got exactly what we expected when we placed the order. This is our first time but will definitely not be the last.

I had order flowers a week in advance for my boyfriend's mom as I was working out of province. I had left specific instructions prior to completing my order that the flowers should be left on the front porch as I knew their family would be doing late morning/afternoon errands. Her birthday was on the Saturday of August long weekend. In addition, I had notified my boyfriend and left my boyfriend's phone number with the owner Gary when I called to have the birthday note edited. The company left the flowers with the neighbours who did not return until late evening on Monday. The flowers were sub par and were barely alive by the time she got them! I had called in on sunday upset about the delivery and had asked for a refund, only to be told that staff were not allowed to issue refunds unless Gary authorizes it and was told that Gary would not be back until wednesday from his vacation. I called back Wednesday only to be told that he would not be back until the Thursday. After the phone run around, I finanlly got hold of Gary and before I could tell him the issue he said that he had spoken to his staff and that the refund was provided on Tuesday when staff had called him to let him know about the situation while he was in Florida. Great...except of course no one called me to tell me that the refund was even issued. Before I could even tell him about the terrible service I received, he begins to justify that leaving flowers with the neighbours was proper procedure since he has been in the business for " the past 35 years!" There was no mention when I had placed the order that orders would be left with neighbours if the client was not home. Why have the option for clients to leave specific instructions if you don't follow them?!?! Don't expect an apology from Gary for poor customer service as not only does he not listen but he raises his voice to speak over you before you can even finish a sentence. First and last for everything and thats Pedal and Pots!

Forest of flowers- Kitchener is always where I go to order flowers. They never disappoint. The flowers always arrive on time and look beautiful! This past weekend we came in last minute to order some flowers for a funeral after finding out no other flower's were delivered. Although they already had many orders on the go, they put together the most beautiful boutique in such a short time to accommodate us. I highly recommend this flower shop! They're amazing!

The Worst Florist Ever!!! 1. A very confusing website that adds no detail on what the different packages (standard, deluxe or premium) entails leaving the customer to assume their purchase would be close to matching the pictures advertised. 2. Wrong calculations of your purchase see picture, (totals to what 13% HST really should be). 3. Same day delivery means absolutely nothing to them. I had placed my order before store opening hours, followed up by a call around 9:40am confirming my order and if all is good to be delivered which was confirmed to me by saleswoman who had to check. Choosing your option to deliver really means the person who ordered it is counting on you to help when their hands are tied. Little did I know that they would miss to include my order on delivery and justify that they had many orders while giving late afternoon call as option that they can deliver it by late evening time. 4. Worst saleswomen—who do not hear you out, speaks over you. 5. Would not refund me my delivery charges despite the fact I dropped by after work to pick up my purchase, claimed they added more flowers to make up for it and shut the door as they leave the product outside their door and walk away. 6. Oversized bouquet in the narrowest base vase they could find. Which ended up tipping over as soon as I put it on a surface that possible was the outcome of added weight of flowers, they claimed they added. False advertisement compared to what is shown on website. 7. They sent an updated email that the product was shipped, after I personally picked it up after work. Here I was, trying to support a local small business in tough times we are all in, but I greatly regret my effort. Massi.

This is by far the best flower shop in Oakville. Not only do they have excellent quality flowers but their prices are extremely reasonable. Fili the head designer did my prom corsage two years ago and I havent stopped going to him since. Makes beautiful large arrangements and can accommodate any price range and very creative ideas. Highly recommend!!!
