Very professional only that upset me was delivery time was not honoured and got to destination later then l wanted if l order morning delivery they should be a destination before twelve and not delivered at 430pm

Nice enough but extremely disorganized. I went there to get iris's as no other flower shop in Oakville has them this time of year. Thinking this was a regular business, I went prepared to pay with my debit card. When I got there, the business was a small operation running out of a residential home and the employee informed me that they do not take debit, but will take cash or credit (this was NOT specified anywhere on their website). Having no cash with me, I said I'd pay with credit. However, because the woman working there was "unfamiliar with the system" instead of a credit machine, they asked me for my credit card number, security code and date of expiry. With this obviously being of worry to me, I had to drive 10 minutes to withdraw 20$ from my debit account. I then drove 10 mins back to the home only to be told that they only have nickles in the float and that they could not break a 20$ bill. I then had to run to the bank again (another 10 mins there and back) to get exact change for the 2 iris's I wanted. Additionally, the owner and the employee gave me two very different prices of the flowers I wanted, and did not seem to be on the same page about pricing. I am giving 2 stars because Ada's flowers had out of season flowers that were hard to find, and the woman serving me seemed genuinely nice, however the business lacks organization which caused me to lose 1.5 hours out of my day that I wasn't expecting. Had the owners 1) put a notice on the website indicating that they do not take debit, and/or 2) had checked that the float was sufficiently stocked, this whole situation could have been avoided.

Excellent Service, the flowers were beautiful and delivered on the same day. I placed the order within 30 min of the cut off for same day delivery and was a bit worried but they delivered them that day. I called Ada's flowers because they came up when I did a search for a local florist and they came up. I called them and asked if they were a local florist where I live and I was told they were. I was told that delivery was free so I agreed to order flowers for my wife. I placed the order and gave them my credit card number and then learned it was $23.00 more than the price of the flowers. I inquired about this and was told it was tax and a service fee of some sort. I got to thinking about this and called them back and asked where the person was that I was talking to and was told New Jersey and I then tried to cancel the order and get my money back and they refused to do so because "they had already sent it to a local florist". I then inquired who this was and was finally given the name of the florist but it took some doing to get the info. I then called the actual florist and then found out if I had called them directly I could have saved myself 20.00 Ada's flowers was deceitful in the way they represent themselves and I suggest you deal with actual local florists and save yourselves some money, I will not use them again ever!

I ordered the premium basket for my aunt based on the picture on the website. Instead this is what my aunt received. I am embarrassed that this is the gift she received. Called the store and was told this is the industry standard. I have ordered flowers many, many times from different florists and have never had a more pathetic display than this. The site says 100% guarantee but I am not satisfied. I was also not treated very nicely on the phone.

Great selection, simple on line ordering, delivery on time, and received product as pictured. Update 8 months later: I had Ada do 4 refills to an original order, every 5 or 6 weeks, to my niece who was going through cancer treatments. It was beautifully done, with different flowers every time, and very professionally done and delivered. Most importantly though, they made my niece happy and recovery a bit better. Thank you so much Ada! You are wonderful!

I live in the Yukon and wanted to have some flowers delivered to my special friend Diane, in Oakville. I also wanted to try to support local business, and so on the web I picked out Ada's, but with no previous association nor experience with Ada's. Diane later phoned me later the same day to say how absolutely thrilled she was when she answered her door, to find a "very nice man" there awaiting with her floral bouquet. Overpriced. I paid 65$ For an arrangement that was very sparse. No filler flowers or leaves added. Not impressed with the arrangement at all. Wasn’t delivered till close to 6pm that day and delivery was local.

This flower shop has provided me with the worst customer service I have ever received. I had ordered a bouquet of flowers for my mother and what was received looked absolutely nothing like what I thought was ordering. The amount of flowers was about 1/4 of what was pictured online. I nicely sent an email to the store explaining what happened and what could be done. I received a call from an extremely rude gentleman. He accused me of lying and sending him a false photo of the flowers I received. The phone call ended with him hanging up on me. I am extremely disgusted with the customer service and will never buy from this stop again.

I highly recommend Ada’s Flowers. I have used them many times over the years, and they always create a beautiful arrangement. This time, I received a call saying they didn’t have the exact flowers I’d chosen. I knew I could trust them to put together something gorgeous - and they did! My Mum loves the arrangement and raves more every day as new flowers open. Thank you!!
