This company is the most disrespectful, unprofessional company we have ever seen. We ordered a premium bouquet of 28 stems of alstroemerias for our father's birthday through a major online company from London and Tooka was their representative in Vancouver who delivered a dying, embarrassing, 10 stems of not even a standard bouquet. When we called them to ask for an explanation and a replacement they completely ignored our request and instead blamed it on the online company and said we should deal with them ourselves and then they hung up on us. We should not be the subject of miscommunication and lack of management between the two. We only wanted a nice bouquet for our father and we paid about 100 pounds for a bouquet that was a disaster. Tooka didn't take any responsibilities even though they know exactly what we ordered. We are so disappointed of this company and will never buy or recommend anyone to buy anything from them. They have no costumer satisfaction let alone a costumer delight.

This place has given me absolute terrible service. I put in an order for mothers day, assuming what I ordered for over $300 would be correct, and only to find out all the products I was told would be in one of the baskets wasn't. They refuse to listen to me, and are telling me I was wrong that everything I asked for was delivered correctly. They say the customer isn't always right. I called back multiple times and they just hung up. And refused to give me back a refund. They said once it's delivered it'd out of there hands there is nothing they can do! I recommend never shopping at this place I would give them 0 stars if I could!!!! This place should be shut down! Especially when there are other businesses who would be glad to be open during a pandemic and actually give good service!!!

Early this week, I was looking for a florist on the Northshore and with the help of google, found Tooka Florist. I spoke with Leanne about my need for a very special contemporary arrangement for the birthday of a very special friend who is experiencing a stressful time. I referred Leanne to several arrangements I liked from their website, gave her my price range and with her thoughtful assistance and assurance that it would be very special, ordered the arrangement. I very much appreciated her kindness, how she immediately grasped the situation and the care she took to help me choose the flowers. The birthday girl loved the flowers and sent me a photo of the beautiful arrangement. I couldn’t have asked for more. Leanne made it very easy for me and I am truly thankful for that.

Had a terrible experience with owner and staff. On my part, made an error on delivery, and they sure made sure I knew. Sent to mother in hospital, gave wrong room and they were going to charge another pricey delivery charge; but the manor in which they addressed, was not too professional making myself and mother feel terrible. I see there's more options in the area for florists.

I phoned around Vancouver and North Vancouver for a florist to make a birthday arrangement for my pal. Before finding this place, I was told in stuffy, unimpressed tones that it wasn't doable ("we only do romantic Victorian colours, pastels, nothing weird") Upon calling Tooka Florist, however, I spoke with the most wonderful human. When I loosely described what I wanted, she chirped, "no problem!" She took my prompt of "Halloween in January, but make it Dali" and SLAYED it. Professional, but not pretentious. Charming and creative. Just how this industry should be. I am so impressed with the service I received that even though I live in a different province I'll be ordering flowers for all my Vancouver area friends from here forevermore. My friend was ecstatic and you made her 30th birthday stuck in Covid isolation just a little bit brighter. Thanks Tooka & friends for making it weird!

I have now purchased two plants and a very expensive flower bouquet from this business over two years. The second plant was a potted money tree. I have a money tree at my office which is thriving, I know how to care for them. When I got it home my husband couldn't believe I had spent almost $100 with tax on a $20 plant, particularly since it didn't even look very healthy. The leaves weren't that green and two of the trunks were withering and dead. I tried my best for a few months, but it never got any healthier, and then I realized it didn't even have a hole in the bottom from which to breathe. So I brought the plant in on Saturday, hoping for some help. I was met with attitude and unfriendliness. I didn't want to return it, some things that would have made me happy were an exchange of pots to one with a hole, or a new money tree, or even just help repotting it. All I got was defiance. I left extremely upset. I walked across the street, bought an $8 pot with a hole and some dirt, and repotted it myself. I threw out the pot that didn't have any drainage. I have no idea how it's going to do, hopefully it gets better now. I will never be recommending this business again. It's really unfortunate the staff couldn't have made a small effort to help me out with my dissatisfaction with this overpriced product.

Tooka nailed it! I never set foot inside Tooka when I asked for help ordering peonies flowers for my wife’s 40th birthday. What do I know about flowers except what my wife loves? I can tell you I was absolutely blown away by Tooka. I called looking for peonies in anything but pink and strong colors. I was immediately relieved to hear them say that they have lots, since I know there is a short window for these flowers. I was told they are classified as pink but you would be hard pressed to see it and were more on the white side. They were right! I little bit of pink on the inside center edge and that’s all. What really got me though was the walkthrough on the phone showing me what to look at on their website. They knew exactly where to tell me to look to see which arrangement I preferred. Within minutes I was sorted. Order the flowers 7 days in advanced. They arrived the day before her birthday. Oh, they also smelled AMAZING! We got to enjoy them the day before her birthday without the kids in the house for the majority of the time. They really set the tone in our home. You could almost say that we were listing for an open house lol. Thank you Tooka for an amazing job and for being human in your approach to customer service. My wife will never forget her 40th in part to the job you did.

Yesterday I went to purchase a special bouquet as a gift after the closing on a home sale. The designer took a display from the floor and made it even more spectacular by adding flowers and greenery. The whole team goes above and beyond every time I have been in with a last minute request. Gorgeous fresh flowers, amazing service, excellent delivery and very accommodating if you have a budget to work within. I actually forget that there are other florists in NVan because Tooka is my 'go to' when I need something for any occasion - birthday, thank you, sympathy, mother's day - all occasions always exceptional! I received a holiday arrangement just prior to Christmas from the North Vancouver store. The arrangement was misshapen, hastily put together and with some poinsettia branches broken. The arrangement was not protected from the cold and most plants in the potted arrangement succombed to cold damage within a day or two of delivery. I wrote to Tooka directly on their website after delivery but have received no reply. Please - buyer beware.

I called at 4:47 as I just found out it was my hair dressers 70th. Birthday, a Woman who has long retired but still looks after a few of her loyal clients such as myself after 17 years being her client. The florist that answered the phone was very sweet & helpfull. I had a $70.00 budget for a nice long stem bouquet delivered. She came up with a $69.00 selection , all in, delivered in an hour to my Friend. My Hairdresser texted me an hour later very happy and surprised with a picture of the bouquet. It was so much more than I thought it would be! Absolutely beyond the budget I am sure. Even had a Bird of Paradise included. How sweet. I am getting married next year and plan to use Tooka florist for the arrangements.

Yesterday was my 3rd Anniversary and we received the most stunning floral arrangement from my amazing Mom. The arrangement is absolutely gorgeous. I have never seen anything like it and I can honestly say it is the most beautiful arrangement I have ever received. I work in a Senior's Residence and every single Resident stopped to take a closer look and gush. Great service, if they don't have what you want on the floor they will take the time make your special bouquet while you relax on their couch. However if you are looking for a deal on flowers this is not your place. Although the price is a little more you get both quality and craftsmanship.

Buyer Beware. Flowers delivered to wrong address. No fault is admitted, when it is clearly an on-line technical issue on their site and was brought to their attention. Ignored. Treatment received by manager/owner is hard to believe and has a history of blaming customers in response to simple issues in their reviews. This could have been fixed in less than 10 minutes. BUYER BEWARE.

I live in the UK and have a friend on Vancouver who I wanted to send flowers to. I used the Tooka on-line service to order the flowers. Unfortunately, I was unaware that my friend was away at the time of her birthday. Leanne from Tooka Flowers contacted me to say they could not deliver the flowers, and had tried to ring my friend a couple of times. I just assumed that they would do as most florists would do, and leave them on the doorstep. This was not the case - Tooka Flowers went above and beyond to contact my friend and were eventually able to make the delivery. Thank you so much - I would recommend Tooka Flowers to anyone.

Thank you to Tooka Florist for helping make my Aunt's Birthday flower delivery a success all the way from Ontario!! We ordered online, and the fresh orchids that were delivered were just as pictured. The ordering process was easy, and Nazanin was awesome. I called her on the delivery day to confirm that the flowers had been delivered, and she called her driver, who then told her that he delivered them that afternoon but that the recipient was not home. Nazanin then offered to call the recipient, as a "courtesy call" to ensure they received the flowers, and she confirmed, by e-mail, with me (after store hours, might I add!), once she heard from my Aunt. She eased my fears about the flowers getting lost or mistakenly taken by someone else who lives in the condo. She was also very kind and polite on the phone, and was not annoyed with my (perhaps odd?) requests! Thank you, Tooka Florist! Maybe one day when we visit North Van again, we will pop in and meet you in person!

I booked a bouquet for my mother in North Vancouver from my home in Atlanta and it delivered the same day at the specified time. Based on the photos my sister sent the floral arrangement that was delivered looked much nicer than the photo of what I bought on the company's website. it was great to order from the florist directly as opposed to an internet florist where you can't guarantee what you are going to get. The price I paid for what my Mom received was very fair and the delivery charge very reasonable. This vendor gets five stars from me and I am not the easiest person in the world to please!

Never so disappointed.... Will never use these guys again. Special order ,for a baby shower. Came to pick up the flowers, 2 arrangement. The lilies were fully closed, not one bud open on 10 stems. This is Saturday afternoon, event on Sunday. I walked across the street to another florets and bought $40.00 worth of Lily's with the buds open...back to Tooka... They rearranged the flowers , and then tired to change me $100.00, because I had special ordered the flowers... I didn't order closed green buds, I ordered pink lilies...which they could apparently not get !! There rational I didn't specifically tell them I wanted the buds open... Seriously... What florets does arrangements for an event with ALL the buds closed???? I'm told maybe they will open in a few days, really helpful when the event in the next day!! We settled on $60.00, and then AFTER I had paid by CCard, they refused to give me the flowers I had ordered!!! Not tustworthy!! Do not order fro here!! Very very disappointed!!

Very unprofessional and unorganized. Ordered from tooka a week before I wanted to pick up. When I came to pick up my order they had lost my order confirmation and nothing was ready. They threw a bunch of stuff together and it was no where near what I ordered. I had purchased the silver box and they gave me all gold and none of the extras detailed in the description. I had to spend at least an hour the day before Christmas waiting for them to get my order right and it the end it looked patchy and terrible from them redoing it after doing it wrong in the first place. No apologies or any regards for my time. In the end there was still a significant amount missing from my order but I needed to get on with the rest of my day. Waste of $128!

Worst customer service ever. They did not honor their promises as when they were first contacted. They tell you things you want to hear at first in order to get you to buy from them but then they don't do anything from what they mention and they charge more than originally estimated. Do not buy anything from this person.
