I bought a Jasmine plant from here just over a week ago and at the time didn't know about spider mites, but it had the yellow spots which now I understand are from spider mites as I can see them crawling around & webs. I wonder if other plants sold here have spider mites, and I wish I knew that before buying this, worried I infested my other plants...disappointed

Great price and even better service! I was able to get a lovely orchid order delivered to a friend within a day and amidst the Valentine's Day rush! The handwriting on the card was beautiful (much better than my own), and they were able to call up the recipient to make sure they didn't get left in the cold and rain since I was sending them anonymously and without warning. Ordering was easy enough online and my follow-up questions were answered thoroughly and pleasantly on the phone later.

My only wish is that they had a subscription based service so that I could order flowers for those I love more regularly at a discounted price. Did not have a first-time customer experience being there. I went there on valentines day to buy flowers and well I was in contact with someone on the phone to ask their thoughts on what flower I needed to buy. All of a sudden the manager or whoever it was told me that I am not allowed to be on a videocall with someone or take photos of the flowers, which to me sounded unreasonable. (You can even have cameras on in museums nowadays!) I tried to be friendly and ask the manager’s opinion on what they thought would go well with the flowers I had and they did not care a single bit and only wanted to have me pay for the items as soon as possible!

Highly recommended! I used this service to deliver flowers to my lady on our anniversary. The delivery staff were very professional and went out of their way to ensure that the flowers got there when she was home. I was at the store today and there was no one outside. I was looking for roses pots for my balcony and searching which flowers are safe for my cat to buy. As I was outside one person cameby and stands there I went inside as there was no roses outside but suddenly the sales lady shouted at me HEY, HEEEEY YOU, EXCUSE ME THERE IS A LINE UP OUT THERE. I was so embarrassed as every body was looking at me so I came out and looked again there was the same one person standing outside and there was no sign or anything and it was my first time being there. I went straight to my car and left. Ok even if I was making a mistake they could be politeno one have right to shout at you or not even greeting you but also calling you by heeeey . I would never ever go back to this store as they don’t know how to treat customers.

I ordered flowers for delivery to some friends. Not only was my note not quite what I said, but the roses had brown edges and were too open. Also I’d asked for something colourful..and the flowers lacked colour. After I phoned and spoke with an employee I could barely understand, and subsequently emailed, the owner called me suggesting ‘I bring the flowers back’... I explained that I lived across town ( and an hour away!) so this was not practical. I asked if they would send a different arrangement and he suggested a couple of times ‘that I find another flower shop’. Don’t worry.. in the future I will! This is the first time I’ve ever complained about a flower purchase... I was very happy with the Sam Solis flower shop previously, but figured this place was closer to the point of delivery. North Van Florist.. would most definitely not recommend.

So happy I found this place! It is in my neighborhood so very convenient. They are super understanding of my budget and what I am looking for, and feel like my requests are listened to. They have a great selection of colours and flowers....including all my favorites like lillies, orchids, gerberas (and peony when they are in season) The five star rating is because their flowers last a really long time. I like that I can phone them and have the flowers delivered to my mom on the same day, and it's usually there within hours. Keep up the good work guys!

Lady with piercings working at cashier was extrenely rude and unfriendly. The whole ambience and any sense of welcomeness was lacking. Best to check out another florist, since there are quite a few of them in North Vancouver and the Lonsdale the area.

I was immediately thrown off by all the dead product everywhere.. I was looking for a birthday present for my mother in law. The owner was super unwelcoming and came off aggressive. Everything is dead or fully bloomed, kind of useless. The short girl with tattoos was very kind and helpful though, but the interactions with management left a bad taste in my mouth and I chose to go elsewhere

I ordered a sympathy arrangement from this florist. It was a big arrangement on stand with Ribbon across the arrangements with my name printed on it. They were supposed to deliver it to the Grave Site on the morning of the ceremony. When I got to the Gravy Site I noticed they had spelled my last name wrong. It was so embracing in front of a crowd of 100 people. When I contacted the business. The girl on the phone said the owner is not in the store I had to contact her and I will call you back. A few minutes later she contacted me and said the owner has said there is not anything they can do about it now. Absolutely very poor customer service

Although I had carefully ordered what I wanted in details, the kind of flowers and even their colors, and they took notes right in front of me, they did an awfully lousy job and what I got was nothing like what I expected. It was for my bestie’s wedding, I felt so embarrassed cause not only did I arrive late thank to them but they were also shocked as soon as they saw the bouquet.

On the morning of April 1 (and this is not an April Fool's story), I called to ask if they could deliver a bouquet on the same day to a good friend of ours in North Van for her birthday. The woman I spoke to was very pleasant, very helpful, very polite, and very accommodating. My wife and I picked their Sunny Days Premium selection, which seemed an attractive arrangement at a good price, even including tax and delivery. That evening, our friend texted us a thank-you, and included a photo of what she'd received. It was gorgeous! We'd have no hesitation in recommending NVFN to anyone.

12 long stemmed red roses $67.00+tax delivered for my anniversary on Monday late afternoon; the petals were already starting to fall off . By Thursday morning they were all dead. Even the greenery was wilted and dried out. I was very disappointed and called the shop. I got a call back from the owner saying he had made his mind up and it was his final decision that he wasn't going to do anything about it. I offered to take pictures of the flowers and send them to him. He said his mind was made up and he is doing nothing. He said that my husband insisted the roses be delivered on Monday. I Wondered what that had to do with anything at all.....so if you order roses and want them delivered the same day they will die within 2 days. I am very disappointed in this florist, he wasn't even nice when I called to let him know what happened.
