Enjoyed my Everything Bagel and was able to substitute real bacon for coconut bacon which was a fantastic option and glad the cashier offered me the option when I asked for no bacon. I also enjoyed an iced coffee with vanilla and banana bread. All items were appealing and very tasty. Menu had a small amount of options but included vegetarian/vegan and a lot of great options were available for many diets. Cashier and server were friendly and professional. Covid precautions were put in place such as line up markers, sanitizer, contact tracing and restaurant was spacious and appeared clean. Server was seen sanitizing tables. Garden had many beautiful options as well as the store--some really great books, garden accessories and more

Had an awesome experience with Sean & Patricia when buying a tree for my first home! I drive a Hyundai Elantra and the tree I fell in love with didn't fit inside. Patricia called Sean down to see if he could give us a hand and he was amazing! Thanks to him wrapping my tree and fitting it in perfectly (with the help of zip ties keeping my trunk closed without crushing my tree) my beautiful new tree made it home safe and sound. I am so thankful he was there to say "yes, we can do it!" as I was feeling less than hopeful about if we could fit it in or not. Thanks Sean, not only were you helpful but hilarious as well!????

Absolutely GORGEOUS gem of a Cafe and Garden Centre in one! Has a large selection of outdoor trees and plants which is something hard to come by in St. John's. Generally the stores have indoor plants, or small garden plants. Having the wide selection at this garden centre has brought me back for sure, and is great. Unfortunately, I would say this garden centre is the most expensive one on the Avalon.

Cauliflower bowl ???? food always has great taste, quality and quantity. My two recommendations: 1- Cutlery wasn’t as clean (especially during COVID) 2- Expand coffee options, bring back what you had in the past.

I went to buy some trees and arrange for them to be planted, but there was no one to help me - even though I was there over a hour before they were to close. I was invited to come back the next day, but that doesn't work for me. Not a great business strategy.

Nice selection of plants, supplies, and vegetables. Good priced for end of season compared to Sobeys/Coleman's. Staff was helpful in teaching me how to care for the plants I got. And there's a nice selection of good sized vegetables inside the centre at a low cost

Went here to deliver about half a load of shrubs plants and trees. Friendly staff got me where I needed to be to unload. Proceeded to unload my trailer in a reasonable time so all was good here for me.

The folks at Murray's do a great job tending and nurturing the plants and shrubs and usually the selection is unmatched. This time around though, the selection was dismal. Went there looking for herbs and veggies of all kinds to plant in my garden. No rosemary, no thyme, no sage, no oregano, no onions... Perhaps it's the time of year, though with local weather, I can't imagine that they've been overly busy. Perhaps it was a bad growing year for them. In any event, went to Kent (yes really) and found a great selection and quality of everything I needed, supplied by a log organic farm. And it was cheaper than Murray's. Another example of price differential: a Garant weed extractor; $82.00 at Murray's, $39.99 at Kent. Volume is one thing but price gouging is entirely another. Disappointing.

I purchased topsoil from Murray's, it was full of rocks, twigs and lumps of mud balls rock hard, they refused to take it back. I removed five full wheelbarrow's of unusable soil from their smallest delivery of soil. I Highly recommend you purchase soil from anyone other than Murray's Garden Center.

This is our go-to garden centre. It has great selection of plants, trees and shrubs as well as gardening supplies. It also has a lovely cafe offering yummy treats and menu items featuring produce from local farmers.
