To this day the firm gets a score of 4.7 stars out of 5 and that score is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is almost the top, and it is founded on a high number of scores, so we may say that the rating is very accurate. If people have bothered to give their review when they've done well with the business, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to write opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Florist is classified in the category of Botanical garden.
The mun botanical gardens is an amazing place that shows of the wonderful nature of Newfoundland, the importance of gardening and the diversity of plans. Perfect place to go on a sunday. Low entry fee and free for MUN students. What are you waiting for?
We were provide free tickets from our airbnb host to the Botanical Garden's. We took her up on the offer and bike to the gardens (pretty hilly at some points) and it was a really tranquil place to visit. Right from the friendly staff, the indoor setup to the beautiful, recently renovated path ways. We loved the greenery as well as the vegetable garden and green house that had setup, those ripe tomatos looked divine! Nice place to visit if you have time
A very well planned and maintained environment with various levels of engagement. Kids and adults loved it.
The workers were very helpful and kind. The plants are beautiful and cared for regularly to keep things fresh, new and interesting! Definitely worth a visit if you're interested.
Absolutely beautiful, the winter lights they do are incredible and in the summer all the plants are amazing. Only criticism is it's too expensive in the winter. They offer student discounts in the summer but they just have a flat rate in the winter
Absolutely wonderful spot to visit. We had some lunch in their little restaurant, outside. The gardens were gorgeous was well.
What a pleasant surprise! We were expecting flowers and the like, and what we got were well marked hiking trails, great scenery, a lake full of ducks, and a wonderful afternoon of hiking and learning about flora and fauna. I would recommend this place to any nature lover! Ask if they have any freshly harvested produce available. We grabbed a bag of radishes from the garden for a buck! They were delicious!
Botonical gardens are nicely laid out and the walking trails are easy to manage.
it very beauitful and full of flowers
Went for the festival of lights in December 2019 and it was the first time I had been there in a very long time. Beautiful setup and I found myself wondering why I don't visit this place more often throughout the year. Will definitely go back next year for this and am looking forward to seeing more of what's offered year round.
Great for a relaxing, romantic walk by the water & lots of beautiful flowers/plants. Excellent work, Carl!
Beautiful! The gnome search is a hit with kids!
The Christmas light festival was amazing. Throughout the year they have great exhìbits outside along the trail about the uses of various plants
This garden is a must see for people in the metro region. It's a wonderful escape from city life while still in the city. Appropriate place for kids and adults alike, although seniors and those with mobility issues may find the walk long. They have a winter wonderland too around christmas which is very beautiful
Great place to visit during the winter. They decorate, have places to go for hot chocolate, great vibe everyone cheerful, staff helping and even offering to take photos.
Great landscaping with educational content as you stroll it's kilometers of trails. Also has a nice cafe and seeds for purchase.
Love it. .Beautiful. don't take your dog, no dogs aloud. Can't blame them. So pretty, lots of birds. Take a camera
Merry and Bright was very well done. Minorly confusing signage about the bus shuttle and slightly overpriced tickets and drinks were the only downfalls.
My first time here and I really liked the experience. Not many flowers or fancy garden as I expected, but the trails, the pond and lots of natural views, more than compensated for that
There for the Christmas lights festival - so beautiful!
Great place for the nature lover. Very easy walk and quite relaxing. Lovely flowers and shrubs.
Amazing!!! Gift shop is excellent! Best experience I think I've ever had in St.John's while travelling! Highly recommended
Very cool spot to visit if you enjoy plants/nature. Came here as a requirement for one of my courses at MUN and had a great time. The guide was very knowledgable and knew a lot about plant life. Should also mention that admission is free if you are a MUN student.
Beautifully decorated for the holidays, their Christmas light walk is a wonderful experience for kids and families alike.
Beautiful gardens on 100 acres offering programs to adults and youth. Quiet restful place.
Beautiful garden, and lovely wooded trails. Their board room is a perfect place to book for small events and their fruit / cheese catering package is the best I've had!
Moving from a house to an apartment left us a little longing for "working in the garden", MUN Botanical gardens is the perfect cure for this. The house gardening became too much for us so having this wonderful venue available to us is …
Merry and bright festival always a hit with the kids!
Beautiful spot but a little crowded this year. More crowded than before COVID.
Such a beautiful place. Very nice walking trails and ducks! Beautiful flowers and greenhouses as well. Fantastic classes all throughout the summer. You also get discounts if you're a MUN student or employee.
Lovely spot to check out plants. Lucked into seeing a all school of brown trout!
Excellent visit and experience. Would more botanists in the gardens to ask questions.
Family friendly environment. Great for kids
Amazing garden! the city views on the lookout point are great and the Trails are very easy to walk, staffs are very friendly and it's free for mun student!
MUN Botanical Garden is a horticultural treasure trove. It has over 250 different flowering rhododendron, which is one of the largest collections in all North America. The cultivated garden area has a greenhouse and a large collection of plants. Many of them named for educational purposes. It has a rock garden. Many of the rocks and boulders are made of limestone and have plants that only grow in limestone regions. the garden has nature trails that are easily navigated . Also a field house that has a gift shop, The Garden cafe, art shows and is devoted to education and research. No matter what time of year you visit during working hours the staff are friendly and the garden is sure to educate or inspire you.
Beautiful place! The newly renovated cafe is opening soon so stay tuned!
What a beautiful set up of lights every year they seem to add more. A must see in St Johns during the winter months when it’s open
Always something to see and enjoy in beautiful outdoor surroundings.
A great place to enjoy the beauty of nature, and the aroma of beautiful flowers. It was so relaxing just to stroll through this place.
Very beautiful location no matter the season. Great for taking photos or simply taking in the beauty of the place. The grounds are well kept and offer a variety of things to take in, as well as many places to sit down and view the natural beauty.
My family and I had an amazing experience at the Merry and Bright Festival. Well planned, organized and the displays were amazing. There were even a small group singing Christmas Carol's. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers.
I love the gardens, they are great, many speacies. I find it nice to walk around the flowers and get an idea about what might work in my garden, if I am lucky... The trails are also nice, and friendly and unlike every other trail I have been on in newfoundland these are not designed to kill anyone. The rest makes me wonder if Parks Canada outsourced trail design to a maximum security prison. The gift shop is nice, it would be better with more things were made in Newfoundland and less of the China nicknacks. I am not a fan of the cafe, it needs work, alot of work. Just about everyone about it looks wrong. The cafe looks horrable, just everything about it is wrong.
The garden is filled with beautiful flowers and the paths make it into a spot where people can stroll through the garden. It is a great place to visit and learn about all the plants! The cafe and gift shop are also amazing!
Beautiful gardens and trails - Definitely need plenty of time to explore though...2 hours was not enough!
Such a great place to learn, to enjoy the outdoors, and to walk. Nice gift shop too :)
We went for Shakespeare in the Garden. It was evening time. The garden was magical and the perfect backdrop for the selected monologues. Worth visiting any time of the year for the special gardens, trails, and information.
A Good experience into this botanical garden in a wood, we saw different type of flowers and birds... It's a good chance to do a walk in the nature.
We love it. Gift shop is there, amazing cafe is there, conference room is there, summer camps for kids!!! Amazing well planned walking trails, duckies and food for them that can be purchased inside of garden building. You can also purchase plants, flowers, tree plants and soil. Cafe is serving the most healthy delicious home made food!!! Always clean neat and pure joy to visit. Would only recommend to build a small playground for babies. Would bring so much more people!!!!!
Always a lovely time visiting the botanical gardens. A nice walk to the lookout or through the gardens but don't forget to purchase some duck food at the front desk to feed the friendly ducks!
I never get tired of visiting the gardens. They have many events and activities throughout the year. My favorite is the Merry & Bright Festival. Definitely worth your time to visit ????
Went for the music and lights festival...omg it was beautiful :)
Beautiful gardens - I love being home! The people- the lunch - the grounds - the Hike! You must make it part of your stay❤️
They have some gorgeous flowers and displays! Wonderful place for a peaceful stroll and to take in some beautiful sights and smells.
Very good place to go to get answers to all your questions about your flower garden. They are very pleasant and very willing to support your efforts. Flowers they sell are a bit on the expensive side.
Beautifully maintained nature walk in the city.
A quiet place for a walk and fabulous trees and plants to enjoy along the way.
Excellent! We all enjoyed the grounds, well done. Great exhibits.
Every time I have visited the garden, it's even more beautiful than the last! I have a family membership for the season and it's a great activity for me and my kids to do. We often take a walk then go to the cute little café for a bite to eat. The food and service is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. Our family also participates in the events such as Garden Days or Seniors' Day. The garden is a place for everyone, of any age and it is a great place to relax and take in the beauty of nature!
Beautiful place to visit for all ages! So many different types of plant species and animals.
That will be the last time I go there. Parking is a joke, right across the road from the entrance is a empty parking lot, but you're not aloud to park there. It's only for volunteers. Their people on the gate have absolutely no idea what they are at or how to control traffic for all the people walking from a km away up the hill from where they had to park. Because of the extremely poor set up, the total uselessness of the people on the entrance and the fact you have to walk up and down the road with traffic going up and down the road, this will end up being one of the Christmas tragedies you hear about on the news after a person or child gets knocked down by a vehicle. Mun you CAN and SHOULD be doing better then this.
Lovely find. Lots of different gardens to explore as well as great woodland trails
Great selection of flowers and foliage to view.
My father in law took us to the botanical gardens for the first time today. My two sons had a blast exploring all the trails and searching for fairy doors and gnomes. They have a vast array of plants from all over the world and the staff are quite knowledgeable about them. You can easily spend hours just exploring the trails and looking at the beautiful plants. The cost for adults is $8.00 and children under 5 are free.
It was suggested to me to visit the MUN Botanical Garden while visiting St. John's. I am ever grateful for that suggestion! Friendly staff, wonderful gardens and great pathways - oh and be sure to enjoy their cafe as well! A must!
Merry and Bright was great. Too bad about the weather. The gardens are stunning. Worth a visit any time of the year. Summer is best of course!
For only $9/adult and free for young children, can spend a nice afternoon walking the trails and enjoy the lookout. Plenty of shade and seating for breaks. Great info and tips on posted signs. Nice little hike for the family.
The gardens are lovely, the walking trails are well kept, but I feel I paid a lot to take a walk that I could do for free elsewhere. It wasn't overly expensive, I just feel it was expensive for a walking trail and gardens.
Very well.maintained property. All staff were knowledgeable.
Lights phenomenal, magical and injects Christmas spirit in all who visit. Shuttle buses very well coordinated.
At Christmas, Merry and bright is beautiful. Light show from local businesses on display for the public to see
An extraordinary presence in an oppressive winter. But alas, not accessible to mere mortals. Blocked off, secured, protected, jailed beauty. Most discouraging.
Awesome experience. Beautiful area. They had little self doors and dinosaur eggs set up around the garden for the kids! They had a great time
Spectacular lighting , highly recommend.
Fascinating place. Loved the Rock garden. So peaceful.
Awesome place to visit. Had bee hives, honey tasting and great trails. Lots of activities for kids.
The scenery was beautiful! Great place to relax and take a stroll and enjoy nature!!
Wonderful gardens. Become a member. Reasonably priced and lots of interesting programs for young and old. Something to see and enjoy for everyone. Easy walking trails. Good clean bathrooms, cafe on site.
Great atmosphere and caretakers, beautiful walking paths throughout the gardens. Always something nice to see, has a nice gift shop with local items for sale as well.
Awesome light display! A must see!
Beautiful gardens and very instructive displays
Nice gardens with lots of trails. Friendly staff.
Great places to go for a walk. Beautiful scenery.
We did the merry and bright walk it was beautiful.
Very beautiful place to see. Lots of walking and great accessibility for those who need it. Trail hiking for those who love to get out and exercise. You could go for the day and see it all or go for a bit to see just a little. Not able to comment on the food as I didnt test it out. There is a gift shop and washrooms available
Lovely place to walk around. It was advertised that it takes an hour and a half to walk through, but we found that if you actually want to see the plants, and if it's a hot day, it takes far longer. The wollemi pine and the good weather make it well worth a picnic day visit.
It's pretty. There's nice flowers. Occasional wildlife. Good walking trails. Great café. Go. lots of pokestops too
Merry and Bright light festival is a must see!!!!!! The most amazing and gorgeous places in St. John's before Christmas.
Beautiful ! I will diffenately go back .
Loved it. It was a beautiful experience.
