Ordered online and used curbside pickup. Overall the process was easy and pleasant except having to wait 20 minutes after arriving for my purchase to be brought out to my car, especially since I was the only curbside pickup at the time. Previous in-store shopping has been good except the floor staff are often over eager to "help" and it feels like they are hovering. This make the shopping less than ideal for me. When I need help, I rather go ask someone than have them watching my every move.

Do not shop here if worried about Covid 19. I ordered 1 item online for curbside pickup. Got email saying would be ready shortly. Drove 45mins and item/order was not ready. Customer Service was unwilling to grab the one item as other orders were before mine. She offered to cancel order and for me to come inside and buy the item. How lazy and unprofessional to put staff and customers at risk instead of simply grabbing the one item.

Pros: Good selection of many items both in store and online. Decent prices. Lots of staff on the floor. Excellent Return policies! 5 STARS for the ease of returning items. Cons: The BIGGEST con: The push for customers to use the self checkout. The place can be crawling with floor staff on a busy Saturday and there's ONE checkout open, and one other staff trying to force everyone to self checkout. If people want to use it they will. MAN AT LEAST 2 FULL SERVICE CHECKOUTS ON BUSY DAYS. You have what seems to be 50 employees give or take on the floor. You can spare an extra one. This is a hardware store not a grocery store. Every visit is the same, a bunch of annoyed customers, young and old who want full service checkout. Both Moncton and Saint John, every visit.

needed a new window since mine had shattered and I was a first time window buyer. I tried to get all the information needed and took measurements. I get to the little service desk by the window section and the lady there didn't acknowledge me until a min or so and says "what are you looking for" then I simply said "a window" then the lady started by rolling her eyes, did the biggest loudest sigh and put her hands on her head, making it seem like I was giving her a headache. Then she started asking super specific questions which I tried to answer the best I could. She then cuts me off and says "your not listening to me. We're not on the same page at all" then from the entire time I was there she kept sighing at me and she had no patience. She made my day 10 times worst. I took my business elsewhere. Beside this experience, I usually have good service

Sucked! I ordered online but they didnt have enough inventory so had to back order. They wouldn't hold the order until the back order came in because the store policy was "7 days". I had to drive 50kms with a trailer to pick up my incomplete order. Think I will shop elsewhere for the other parts needed.

Organized store, well laid out! Large variety of quality material & tools to help with your building or renovational needs. Wide selection of indoor or outdoor items especially during the summer (garden center). Lots of knowledgeable staff on site that are always happy to help. We couldn't decide what material to use on our wall or where to find it so we asked an employee, and he gladly explained which aisle and offered a suggestion on what another customer did on their wall and how great it turned out. We appreciated the advice and ended up purchasing something similar. Another example of customer satisfaction is the employees carrying out large items to your vehicle.

One of the best home renovation stores around. There are very few items you won't find there and the few you don't can be ordered in. The tool rental program is amazing and very afforfable. Great staff that are knowledgeable enough to guide you in the right direction for most DIY projects. Great return policy and the staff actually admits when they make a mistake and rectify it. Overall I'd give it six stars if I could, I've never been there and left dissapointed.

I was having some problems with an online order of a few thousand dollars (delivery issue), so I called my "local" store, 45 minutes away (store #7148) in Moncton. The guy at the contractor desk (his name was Oriah) sorted everything out in about fifteen minutes, came up with an excellent alternative solution to make everything work out, even though the store was about to close for the night by the time we had things organized. I was super impressed, and wanted to give him a shout-out for excellent customer service. I will definitely be ordering from this store frequently in the future.

I rarely go to home Depot as I'd rather support the canada-based businesses (Kent, etc), but my options were limited: I couldn't find a dehumidifier elsewhere. They were easier to find than in other stores and had nice selection. I googled reviews while I was there and picked a favored one. This was during vivid, so masks and social distancing in place. Cashier wasn't busy, standing in the aisle near their cash indicating they were waiting for customers, which was convenient and a thoughtful practice. Paid in less than a minute. I would've asked someone where the dehumidifiers were, but didn't find anyone and I looked in logical section for them.... Surprised to find them.

This place sells the best power tools out of the competition. Buying lumber here would never be my first option. Way to many employees for the amount of knowledge they will actually not give you. If I had a looney everytime a worker would come ask me if i need any help but unable to do so. They should start to invest in having replacement AI robots that could actually answer your questions.

Went into store. Purchased new fridge. Staff asked warehouse to do a visual on fridge in warehouse. Warehouse confirmed fridge was in stock. Returned 48 hours later to pick up the new fridge. Fridge was a display model, scratched, dented and no box, and wet from rain (According to staff). They offered $100 discount. I left without a brand fridge. Very disappointed.

Great looking store and it's layout is quite impressive....but was NOT impressed with the lack of customer service. I was in the paints department last Saturday (I believe early afternoon, Aug 14th) and NOT one out of the 3 young ladies behind the counter, even attempted to greet me or ask if I needed any assistance...not sure if this is the normal practice for your store, but I will give it another chance when I go to buy paint in a couple of weeks, my wife and I are thinking of repainting our home, but I want to be assured that there are willing and caring staff...

This store is the size of a small European country with everything you could imagine available for your home improvement and maintenance needs. This can seem very intimidating to find things and navigate through but thanks to the amazing and friendly staff finding things is never a problem. This is an excellent place to buy things!

A normally great place to shop, I have to say I was not impressed with my experience today. I was trying to but 3 loose screws (along with a list of other things), and I am required to write the bin number on the bag provided. I did not have one, and the associate I asked for one made me feel as if I had just ruined his day. When I thanked him for the use of said pen, he grabbed the pen from me and turned and walked away without another word. Quite disappointing indeed.

This is a store that seems to have multiple personalities. I guess it greatly depends on when you visit and who is on staff at the time. My best experience was when looking for some plumbing supplies to connect some sinks. Was asked immediately if I needed help and was given expert advice, brought to what I needed and they even drew out how to make some of the connections. Contrast that with times I've searched up and down isles looking for somebody , anybody to help. Or times when entire isles have been roped off. Finally found somebody to ask if I could get something on that isle and they shrugged and moved the ropes so we could get it.

Hello, dear Home Depot here is my sad story at Home Depot Moncton; I was at Mapleton Home Depot rental tools today to rent a compact machine, when I got there the employee (JESSE MELISH) was at the desk. When I show him the compact machine to rent, he was pulling so aggressively the machine that he hit another machine and knocked on the door! Then he asked me for my information, and I gave him, and he told me to take out the bank card to pay it. (knowing that this was my third times rent this machine) He did not accept my card, and I told him I rented the machine with my card the other 3 times last week, he told me NO from today we will not accept this card, I said no problem and I looked for another card, I tried the new card three times but each time he refused my card then with his voice going up he said your password is wrong and maybe this is not your card !(it was very insulting to speak like this with a client). Then my wife showed him our identity card, but he kept yelling at us for no reason and it was here that my wife told him to take down his voice. When I saw who is very aggressive with my wife, I asked for his manager, an assistant manager (Gonar Joseseki) came to see us, we explained the situation, and he did nothing or nothing to employee, I told him that your card machine its old and everyone knows that so maybe you can try again. He tells to another employee to recheck for us in front of the rude employee JESSE MELISH and when she tries again she tells us that JESSE MELISH didn't even update the machine for us! In any case he didn't stop yelling at us and say it's impossible, and we should get out. We were very very shocked, my wife had a panic, nobody helped us, and we left the store. We are very very sorry for the Home Depot with employees like this I suggest you to laying off those sorts of employee because imagine if he acting like this every day with customers. . You will lose more customer in the future. We will be happy that you contact us about this situation that happened today, thank you.

Rented a tiller from Home Depot. Brought it back and told that we did not clean it well enough and there would be a $25 cleaning charge on top of the rental. We actually spent some time cleaning it, but apparently it needs to be spotless. I think the service department are just trying to make an extra buck off their clients. I purchased a dishwasher from Home Depot in Moncton at the beginning of July, the ordering was easy, it's what came afterwards that makes me not want to buy anymore appliances from Home Depot in the future. I had to change the delivery address for the dishwasher and I had to call not once, but FOUR TIMES, because every time they called to want to deliver, they always had the wrong address even if I had called them to let them know of this change. Furthermore I've had to call multiple times to try and schedule the installation and the customer service representative says they will contact me by the end of the day but it never happens and this has happened to me four times already. We've had the dishwasher for 5 days now and we still don't have a date for it to be installed. I've bought appliances from Home Depot in the past and never had this much trouble, but it's been such a hassle this time around that I don't even care if I pay more for my appliances elsewhere, I will NOT be purchasing any appliances from Home Depot ever again! This is ridiculous, awful customer service!!!!!

Curbside pick up process is broken. Waited over 20 minutes both times I've used the service and have had to call the store each time to have an item actually brought out. Department management has very little customer service or escalation training. Only decent things are competitive pricing and decent stock availability.

A bad experience !!! I have literally spent thousands of dollars over the years at Home Depot, and one small bad experience has assured that I will never spend another cent there !! The attitude of the sales associate and then the evening manager on November12th was very unprofessional and I honestly don't think either of them had a clue what they were talking about ?? I was purchasing some ceramic tile for a small project and new exactly how many tiles I would need. Two full boxes and three extra tiles for good measure. Lucky for me , or so I thought, there was an open box of tiles with about half left so I grabbed my two full box's and three from the open box, placed them in my cart with my other purchases which consisted of a fair amount of plumbing supplies and headed for the cashier. The cashier didn't know how to ring in separate tiles so she called the associate to the cash. The associate proceed to tell me that they do not sell separate tiles and I will need to purchase another full box ??? I took her to the tile section and showed her the sign that clearly said $0.85 per tile ?? I also showed her the open box ? She stuck by her guns and said they do not sell separate tiles ?? I have purchased single tiles before when needed so couldn't understand this . I calmly asked if I could speak with a manager so she got a manger to come over and he also said they wouldn't sell me tiles from an already open box ? I asked him why the box was open and he just said he didn't know > I asked what they were going to do with these single tiles and he said probably send back to the supplier ?? They really didn't want my business I guess. I did not get upset, although this was very frustrating . I calmly walked back to the cashier with the two of them following and told the cashier to cancel my entire order. The manager muttered under his breath " That's Fine, See you later " He will not see me later or ever again in a Home Depot store. I proceeded across the road to a Kent Building supplies Store and had no problem purchasing the exact amount of tiles I needed. They even opened a full box and let me buy my singles from this with no questions or problems whatsoever. This all took place at the Moncton, NB Home Depot on the evening of November 12, 2020.

Had curbside pickup for a little item. Was a 16 min wait from the last text out. Could be worse but could be better.

Always get great customer service here. I find it's better than the Canadian store beside Superstore in Moncton. I have never had bad service at Home Depot and have had the staff here go out of their way to help me on more than 1 occasion

This review comes a couple weeks late as I am very busy...here goes! For the new general manager Jeremy......I was having this issue with a fantastic tool I purchased just out the blue problems I was in for my 3rd time ...so the staff called In the new GM I wasn't mad or causing problems as I'm sure at this point some would have ...Jeremy showed up and without hesitation handled my issues with such class he went above and beyond expectations we had a good chat about a few problems I was having ' not home depot ' just with my projects and he then proceeded to help fix with those as well just as a thank you for my being patient ....I was never treated that good anywhere I hope he runs the store as he treats customers nothing but class thumbs up for sure ...thank you Jeremy and good luck

On line service is nonexistent, and I called the 1 800 phone # and got transferred 4 times, all I needed was a price for a heat pump , that Home Depot carries , I’ll go elsewhere .

The people at Home Depot were very welcoming. Told me who I should see for my oven. Unfortunately, they don't carry the parts that I needed but gave me the names of some businesses that might carry the gasket I needed. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I will be back shopping there.
