I bought a TV online for early cyber Monday. I have followed up numerous times and continue to be told different things about when to expect it to be in. So now I just feel like I've been lied to and pushed off to end the call as quick as possible. The store manager was rude and made me feel awkwardly calling about my purchase. The customer service representatives just transferred my call around. Maybe Leons should not be selling things to pick up at a store location unless the product is in stock or at least have a warning that this product will be shipped from their warehouse or wherever its coming from and there is NO expected delivery date so it could take weeks to recieve.
There should be an option for less that 1 star... I was very disappointed in the follow up customer service I experienced from Leons Fredericton. We wandered throughout the entire store without once being asked if we needed assistance and when we finally found what we were looking for the salesman was surprised that we hadn't been helped. The sales portion of the experience was satisfactory but we needed to wait 3 weeks for the chair to actually arrive as they were out of stock on an advertised sale item!!! The pick up was 5km from the store and I had to rely on Google to get me there as noone offered me directions beyond "Just on the other side of the highway". Although that was true it was down the road, over a overpass, turn right, take a side street and another and then pass everything and notice the sigh on the building 100m off the road! This is where it began to get maddening... As I approached the door marked "Customer Service", through an unshoveled walkway (2 days after the snowfall) I was redirected to the bay door only to be berated because I didn't have the paperwork! I had to wade back through the snow and wait for service. When we put the chair together we noticed a missed stitch in the arm. I phone right away and was offered, quite forcibly, to take the floor model arm in exchange. I repeatedly had to explain that I didn't want a used part repairing a new chair! I was told that I had to speak with someone else and call back tomorrow! I explained that they should call me so I was assured I would get a call. I had to call!!! Twice!!! This person simply stated that there were no chairs in stock! I explained that their stock problems did not help me, and was concerned that they would not support this issue. I was told that they may have a chair available on Monday (providing the customer that ordered it did not pick it up) or I would have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for a replacement! We decided that this was all too much and wanted to return the chair. It sounds easy, right? Turns out a return requires a manager (10 minutes n hold) and then I had return the chair to the warehouse and then proceed to the store to receive the refund! The warehouse people did not want to give me receipt proving that I dropped the chair off with them. When I insisted I was berated as idiotic and then, with great attitude, was thrown a scribbled on sheet. At the store, I was immediately asked "Are you the one fresh from the warehouse?" and the "I have to do a few things to do first" when I asked for the refund. After all of this, my wife stated that "Leons will have to be giving things away before we shop there again!" I am tending to agree! Extremely poor customer treatment!

Really good service when it's time to sell but getting a quote on something not in store takes weeks and when I bought it they didn't know when it would be delivered. Still waiting as a matter of fact...

Absolute rip offs. Bought a top of the line couch, bought all the warranty etc.. Electric recliner broke after 2 months. Service manager says "I have been too busy with paperwork all day to see if we can get anyone out there because we don't service in your area". They sure didn't mind selling me the service warranties etc.. UPDATE: They had their Delivery guys stop in to diagnose the issue, which they were able to do (Thankfully someone in this company knows what they're doing), they have the parts in stock but tell me they will not send someone out to fix it until next week when someone (The delivery team) is in the area. I address this with Tyler Northrup (Owners Son) and am laughed at repeatedly because I don't feel this is a realistic resolution. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE MORONS.

We found a small recliner, just what we were looking for, at a reasonable price. Salesperson was helpful and offered various services such as stain prevention and extended warranty. Warehouse was quick and organized with loading. The packaging was excellent, plastic inside, cardboard outside. We could have brought it home in the truck without damage, even on that snowy day.
Up to a few days ago I may have given a recommendation, but the other day I had a very unpleasant conversation with a woman there that dealt with a possible warranty claim. As I was speaking, she would start talking over me and not let me finish.... Many times. I don't want to even pursue the claim anymore, it's not worth having to deal with that person. A little over a year ago I purchased a pile of stuff from them and was just about to get all the appliances for an apartment I am building..... But not now.

Terrible customer service when it comes to returns! I’m usually not one to leave negative reviews, but I’m really frustrated with my experience. I recently met sales rep, Beth, when I went in looking for a couch. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and I ended up purchasing a $2,000 sectional. I also told her that I was looking for a dryer since ours was broken. Beth told me about some of the models/brands she recommends, but I had to leave for another appointment. I had been looking at dryers before at Home Depot and Costco, but I decided that I wanted to support Beth with the sale, so I went back to Leon’s a few days later and bought a Maytag dryer for $680. It hasn’t even been 2 weeks since we brought it home and the brand-new dryer has stopped working. I called Leon’s this morning and their employee told me to call Maytag. I called Maytag and they said they could book me a service call, but they only book all-day appointments. My boyfriend and I both work full-time, so an all-day appointment is less than ideal. If we were willing to go the route of having a service technician come to our house, we would have just fixed our broken one! The Maytag employee suggested I call Leon’s back to see if I could just return it to them since it was just purchased. I called Leon’s and asked to speak to the manager about the situation. I didn’t find him to be empathetic or friendly at all. He said, “it’s a used dryer,” and suggested there would’ve been a different outcome if I had called within the first 2-3 days, whereas it has been 2 weeks for me, so I will have to go through the manufacturer for the repair. I told him that the Maytag employee said I should return it to Leon’s, and he chuckled and told me that that’s because Leon’s doesn’t have a good relationship with Whirlpool/Maytag and said that was probably why the employee told me to call back. This whole experience has felt unprofessional to me. It almost seems as though Leon’s has good customer service on the sales floor, but not when it comes to returns. I will not be purchasing any appliances from Leon’s again!!!

I can't speak for the quality of the furniture or the service after sale, but I can rate the experience on the show room floor. We were served by Beth, and she was amazingly helpful. The store was not overly busy and the service we received was that of someone really taking the time to understand our needs, recommend relevant options we had not considered at first glance and pointing out details we had not thought about. All without making us feel pressured. (Which, honestly, makes me go shopping somewhere else.) Altough we did not order anything yet (we are still at the shopping around stage) we will come back for sure. I keep her business card in the safest pocket of my wallet and will most likely order when we are ready.
Staff is very helpful and the store is in great shape. Only negative is that it is so far out of the way.

UPDATE: Got a replacement desk today. ☺️ Bought furniture worth 5grand, everything was great. Then the office desk broke, called in December sent pictures and all that was requested, it's been 4months. No callback, I have no idea when it'll be replaced. Every time I call, it's the same story; it's manufacturer's warranty and we have to wait. No idea how long that's going to be, even though the product is in stock. Like just replace the product and deal with your manufacturer. It's been just horrible.
A large assortment of furniture, appliances and electronics. Store is clean and well lit for the type of environment. Went shopping for a new bed and found the staff to be informative but uninterested.

I had ordered a couch that didn't make it onto the delivery truck on my delivery day and within 10 minutes of calling them, they returned my call and guaranteed to me that the first truck to return to the store would get my couch and bring it to me. Excellent service, so impressed.

Disappointed. Bought a brand new washer and dryer for just shy of $2000, had all the measurements of my laundry space, sales rep confirmed it would fit, I asked about features and cycle run times. All good right? Washer showed up that week. Was told dryer would be another couple weeks so we waited for both to arrive before installing them. Over a month later dryer comes in. Come to find out that the washer lid wont open all the way due to a permanent shelf in my laundry room. Run the machines only to find out that a wash and dry cycle took almost 3 hours. Long story short, I called to inquire and left 3 messages over 3 weeks, no response. 4th time I called and got someone and was told this how they are, they take longer nowadays. But what about the height being off? You should have measured. I did!! Oh well we dont have any record of that. Really? You keep records of customer measurements? I stated I would like to return or exchange for the right product. Was told that I had waited too long to contact them to be able to do a return. I've been calling for weeks. Oh we dont have a record of that. After multiple calls the resolution is that they will do a straight exchange but I would have to pay a restocking charge of 25% of my purchase price. $450 out of pocket for them to take back a brand new set. No offer of a return no offsetting the restock charge with any discounts, no nothing. No longer a loyal Leon's shopper.

Went there and was looking for a washer the guy told me that they have larger washer for large families ,which I never knew or heard of till now. I bought the washer which is AMAZING HUDGE DRUM so far I'm very pleased with it. I CAN DO 4 big loads of wash with it and still gave tons of room . STEVE saved me on picking out a wrong set and was very prompt when getting things paid for and no waiting around. Service was great and I'll be back for a new couch set very soon . THANK YOI ALL
Was looking for a couch, while looking at the one we liked, another customer who bought it a week prior say they liked it, but the price was much cheaper...$300 cheaper. U asked the employee about it, she said if it goes down to the lesser price in the next 60 days they will match it, but would match the price from last week. Price went up when the sale went on, new sale is scratch for 5%-50% off... but you don't get to scratch until you commit to buying... Not impressed, went to the Brick, they had $30% off all items over $2000. ... no games, I appreciate that!

I have to say that our new apartment is turning into a Leon's Showroom hahaha. If you are looking for a complete overhaul or a small upgrade, this place is a great start. There is absolutely something for everyone. Their huge showroom has several options to choose from in every category. When you come in the store you will be greeted by an associate, who will offer their assistance to guide you through the store (many thanks to Jim Hickey, as he was a great help when we bounced from one area to the next). You may not want help, but I will say they will certainly help focus your time in the store. Either way, the store will likely have what you need...and those things you didn't know you needed hahaha. Happy shopping.

Purchased a "new" 55'' Smart TV from Leons in Dec of 2012, when I arrived to the store to pick it up I noticed that the floor model was missing from the store. I inquired about it and the saleswoman Suzanne informed me that someone else had purchased it. I asked her again if I was getting the floor model as a part of my larger order and informed her that I did not want it, she reassured me that I was getting a brand new one, still in the box. So I get the TV home and open the top and there was packaging missing from the top, it (styrofoam) was cracked, the bags holding the hardware were ripped open an lying at the bottom of the box with everything spilled out of them. Called her right away and asked her, she claimed to not have any knowledge of me getting the floor model and passed the blame off to the "TV guy". Fast forward to a day later and recieved a call from Mike the store manager, and was promptly informed that becasue I recieved such a good deal on the tv in the first place I should have been happy with what I got. So I'm cancelling the order and bringing my hard earned money somewhere else. This is pretty bad because I've dealt with Leons in Moncton and Newfoundland and have recieved the best treatment each and every time I went in there. But for some reason the Fredericton location have been consistantly screwing over not only myself but a number of co-workers that have their own complaints about their treatment while there. Never again!

The sellers will pressure you. Go shop there then go to hotchkiss on prospect with the name of the furniture you want. You will get a better deal.
Friendly service especially the girl I had, Misty I the go to person, she help find a set of appliances they had in stock. Delivery was a breeze as well. I will be going back when I need other things for our house!

Horrible experience here. The staff have no idea what they are doing and we're very rude. Delivery of my bed took 2 weeks! Outrageous and we're going to charge because it wasn't in limits for a 2500 purchase. Had to get my own company to deliver product. Pathetic! Good to see they appreciate their customers. It's all about sales here with poor service. Ugh!
Awful people.They keep leaving sneaky marketing voicemails (from untraceable numbers) even though I never bought anything there, just put a deposit on something I never bought. Do NOT give them your information, you will NEVER get rid of their calls. I called and requested they remove me from the list but it started again just now. Terrible, counter-intuitive, totally abusive.
What a beautiful store!
Picked up my purchase a couple weekends ago very pleased with but what I have noticed in my recent purchases which include a recliner is that there only seems to be one younger guy who knows anything about what's going on there. Everytime iv been there to pick up he seems to be the go to guy. I noticed while I was there to get my chair his professional manner in dealing with myself and an elderly lady before me. Very polite offered to open the chair to fit in my vehicle now that's great service. I will definitely return and pick up my own items due to the excellent service I received. There needs to be more of this kindness in the world. Thank you leons Fredericton.

Was ready to pull the trigger on 5700 dollar purchase. Asked if there was any room to move or other promotions and was told "price is the same for everybody, if your house burnt down price wouldn't change. Manufacturers dictate prices, leons is only a warehouse for them". Went to Hotchkiss, negotiated a fair deal and was treated like family.
Been waiting on a bed delivery for my senior parents. I understand things are slow due to covid, but the rudness i experience this morning was un called for. Its been almost 2 months and up to this point things were just ok. They said when it came in they would make arrangements and get it out as quickly as possible. The elderly lady I talked with this morning was very quick tempered and refused to help. My parents have been faithful customers for 50 years and I cant believe this is how they're being treated.

When our queen size sofa bed was delivered we noticed some scratches to the door and door frame....we notified Leon's and they sent over Tim their service person who not only fixed the scratches on the door he also re-painted the whole door and door frame which made it look like knew...Tim was great to deal with! Just left store. After shopping for 20 minutes for a new adjustable bed not one sales person was around for us to ask questions. We turned around and walked out and a potential sale was lost as I have to purchase this type of bed for health reasons.

Helping me remove the mattress putting the new one on, leaving the plastic to put the old set in. The gentleman that said your bed is up really high. I laughed so hard when l went in the bedroom.. While the whole sectional hasnt fallen apart yet, I have had to open the back up to repair the arm rests, as they are made out of a thin piece of plastic. Happened within 6 months I had to open it up also to add a piece of furniture strapping to the back so that the cushion filling would stay inside it. Happened after 1 year The cushioning is pilling all over, after 1 & 1/2 years. When I paid over $2000 dollars for a couch, I assumed it wouldnt be a piece of garbage and did not purchase the warranty. Bottom line this company sells garbage furniture and you should take your business elsewhere.

I went to Leons twice in the past month to buy a bedroom set and then kitchen appliances. There was a large selection to choose from. The two guys I dealt with(Jim and Jamie) knew a lot about the products and were very helpful. Before buying I had priced what I wanted at a few different stores and found that Leons had the best price for what I was looking for. Was a bonus that there was no extra delivery costs and the furniture was delivered and assembled the following week. The stove I purchased had to be back ordered and I was pleased when it was in stock less than 2 weeks later. Overall had a really good experience dealing with Leons and everything looks great.
Good products. Staff can be a bit pushy but they do work for sales so its hard to be upset about that.

Purchased lamps online 3 weeks ago only to find out today that they were discontinued. Odd I asked about the make model etc before purchase. I called asking them to be held as I was out of town. The response was sure no problem with full payment, as they are on back order. Wouldn’t they know if they were not available 3 weeks ago. The exact same ones are at Bed Bath and Beyond just more expensive….I never have had this issue with the Brick they just did not have the lamps. I’m receiving a full refund but time management etc was grossly missed here!
