This place is amazing! They sell excellent quality plants that are grown right there, so already adapted to our weather. Also really big selection to chose from. The food at the Cedar Cafe is homemade, creative and yummy. Staff are very friendly and Bob is a endless source of knowledge always willing to share it with others. This place does a great job at educating people and teaching about plants and gardening! Always a pleasure to visit!

The cutest place, with so much selection and gorgeous grounds. The individual working was kind and delightful. Apples by the cash each had a little back story explaining their origin and best use (eating or baking). Dog- friendly so we spent time walking amongst the planties and enjoying the gorgeous nurturing of nature- even though it is fall there was lots to enjoy. 10/10, cute place & will come back.

An example of the old adage of building a better mousetrap. Kind of a long drive on hilly, winding, sometimes patchy roads (with great views) to find quite a few people enjoying the scenery and excellent food at this plant nursery. The "path to their door" is interesting but it's hands-on-the-wheel and long. Just when I was about to stop for another check of Google Maps, we were there. Interesting food, delicious desserts, great service. We drove from Moncton, about 45 minutes, but kept going to Sussex when leaving. Road slightly better, but twice as long to get out to main highway at Sussex. A good excursion on a Saturday!

Waited 20 minutes for water and no one came. Our waitress was also the cash clerk which should never happen ... Handling food and money. We left and went to Big Stop.

The nursery is located in a very scenic area. Quite enjoyable. There was a craft festival on when we visited. Also pleasant. However, the number of visitors overwhelmed the staff at the Cedar Cafe and the long wait for a table followed by an even longer wait for the food was just too much.

average local working people not exactly well accepted here.. cold shoulder brush off from the 3 working in the kitchen and i thought i was pleasantly patronizing a small local rural place.. now i see that if your not over 60 with all kinds of time to kill with nothing better to do this place would be fantastic..the snooty attitude from the 3 working here ticked me off immensely.. sorry for trying to patronize your establishment.. wont happen again.. keep on truckin.!!!

Selection is amazing!! You need a day to walk through their grounds and see it all. We really like that they only offer varieties that grow well here. Other nurseries just carry what they ship in. We will definitely be going back as we expand our garden and landscape our grounds. In regards to the cafe, it was really disorganized and the food was expensive. The chicken melt we ordered barely had any chicken and the one piece of bread it was on was soggy, drowning in this weird sauce. It also took a really long time to receive the order. Inside the cafe it's really cute, though, and their double chocolate chip cookie was really good.

From wherever your home is, this place is worth the trip! Beautiful scenery in and around the area to and from the nursery. The staff is very knowledgeable about flowers, shrubs, trees etc. The Cedar Cafe is a hidden gem that needs to be experienced. Great atmosphere for a place to eat, relax and enjoy the delicious food. They have many different things on the go throughout the season, from artist in the garden and workshops to give you tips from the pros. Can't say enough good things about it! Worth the trip for sure!

What wonderful experience! The nursery is located in a quaint river valley where maritime countryside meets old world charm. We came for the artist jn the garden. Even a little rain didn't dampen our spirits. The artist we're prepared with canopies, the smell of pizza oven was wafting through as we explore the artisan booths. We had a lovely lunch in the cafe. Had carrot dill soup with gluten free chicken club sandwich, followed by the mango swirl gluten free cheesecake...simply divine...best gluten free I have ever had. The service was prompt and very friendly. Afterwards the skies cleared and we had a very peaceful stroll through the showcase gardens. The variety of trees and shrubs was astounding for the maritimes. I don't know why it's taken me this long to finally visit. Definitely will return again and again. However it did look like they need more help keeping the gardens in check. Some plants and weeds had over grown and paths have been reclaimed by nature. Could not resist doing some dead heading and weeding myself. In saying that it is well worth a visit!
