Audrey Meiklejohn

Wonderful romantic Cafe. Delicious food and divine desserts. Great staff as well. Beautiful setting in garden greenhouse.

Surprise surprise, another 5 star review for the pastry market. Overall everything is unexpectedly great, is what I would say to characterize the food. Some of the best scones around, they best out most city bakeries, great mini single serving cakes and tasty first infused drinks. When ever I’m in Vineland this is a must stop.

Michael Walton (Mike)

Just walking around the premises of the Watering Can is a pleasure and I always feel an admiration for the ingenuity of the owners and staff. The food market is also one of the pleasures when visiting. This time had a chicken sandwich on sourdough with brie that was delicious.

Best brunch place ever

Whenever we shop for plants, we 100% need some of watering cans pastries and coffee or tea based drinks! Our go-tos are the scones and the banana cake ????

Bree O

Quaint pastry market inside of the Watering Can Floral Market. Has lots of adorable sweets as well as coffee and other drinks for enjoying while shopping for plants. We tried the oreo cheesecake and raspberry cheesecake which were both so good. The oreo one had lot of toppings which made it a great treat. The raspberry one had fresh berries on top and it tasted great. There are more pastries and cheesecakes we want to try next time! Can't wait.

Nabil Naccache

Excellent food. Healthy grain salad. Unusual dining area in the midst of plants - wonderful.

Jade Jes

Lovely little cafe with outdoor and indoor seating. Amazing little cakes, the Iced Raspberry Lemon Tea is a must try along with their seasonal pumpkin white chocolate cheesecake :)

Victoria V.

My absolute favourite place to go. A perfect spot for a visit with a friend and even alone. The atmosphere is unrivaled by anywhere else I've ever been. The food is amazing. This place is 100% worth the drive.

Teresa Vellenga

I had the most amazing cookie ???? I can't remember the name but it's the chocolate one that is covered in icing sugar. It was soft and gooey in the middle. Surprisingly enough it was a gluten-free cookie and it still tasted phenomenal! Definitely my new favourite cookie.

Heidi Latta

Great place and absolutely worth driving a fair distance. They always have fun and well cared for tropical plants. They also have different sizes of the same species so everyone can find something in their budget. Great staff and very knowledgeable. Their cafe also caterers to everyone and have vegan selections.

Kristi Block

Everything the serve here is delicious, and there couldn't be a prettier place to eat them. If you're looking for a place to take a friend or relative for a birthday tea, look no further. This place is ????????????.

Stopped in for a coffee and a treat enroute to an appointment. Lots of choice, delicious goodies ! And enjoyed walking through the plant/gardening section afterwards.

Terri-ann Lassman

I went here the first time to learn how to make a Christmas arrangement for my table. The young man we had was so friendly. I can't seem to remember his name at the moment. The class was fun and the foliage we used was fresh and beautiful. My center piece looks amazing and everyone who sees it asks where I got it. I would highly recommend this place for there arrangements.

Minerva Sanchez

So many delicious treats to choose from. There's a eat in area or the option to get take out. The squares and mini tarts and cheesecakes all looked delectable. The menu had a lot of variety. The location is quite unique as the café is inside a greenhouse.

Bill Dunphy

We had a great visit on a winter midweek day. You don't have to be a gardener to enjoy their displays and outdoor decorating ideas.

Steph Fischer

Their pastries never disappoint!! & they have really good sandwiches too! I've never had a bad thing from them, and the staff is always warm and welcoming.

Tinka Stiller

The Watering Can Vineland is so adorable and worth a visit. It is located in the Niagara region. It offers unique design and a variety of flowers. It expresses friendliness and warmth.

First visit. Never knew this gem existed. Went for brunch. Sat in the makeshift outside patio. Weather was just right. Bacon vegetable quiche was delicious. After eating, enjoyed a walk through the garden centre. Astounding plants I've never seen before. Displays were excellent.

We really enjoyed the make-your-own succulent activity! It's great for kids. You get to choose a cute character pot, 2 plants, and colored moss to top it off! The cafe and plant market are beautifully arranged and decorated. The tea and food was quite good. My only request would be for more vegan food options, especially the pastries and treats!

David Walsh

Great selection of plans, great staff and good eats

Nelson Ledwez

Great place to pick up a variety of different and creative plant arrangements. Also a great place to grab a coffee and hangout! Not to mention lovely staff

hj

This is possibly the best place I've been in years. i had so much fun just wandering through the plants and hidden displays and stumbled upon the cafe. The cafe was sold out of iced tea toward the end of the day but the little treats were divine. It was utterly brilliant. Great prices. Too bad I live so far, otherwise I would work there!!!

Cat Smile

Mandatory stop when shopping for gorgeous plants! We had little cheese cakes and they were delicious!

Went to a workshop at the Watering Can. Being the only male was uncomfortable but they make you feel as though everyone is family. The workshop was amazing and some good fun. Men put your egos aside and go make something amazing for your partner.

Aside from selling some amazing flowers, planters and annuals, they now have a little bistro where they sell baked goods, coffee and soup, sandwich lunches. They have gluten free options, which is important to me, and I have had a gluten free panini with gluten free soup and of course a gluten free brownie to die for. Not only is the food great, but you can sit right around all the nice flowers and arrangements. Very relaxing place to meet with a friend.

Sarah Robson

I visited for the first time today and wow. What a fabulous spot to stop and have a coffee and a ridiculously delicious pastry. I decided on the creme egg brownie, my friend had the caramel apple cheesecake. The brownie was good, crazy sweet, and I'm told the cheesecake was amazing. All the food we saw today looks so good, so, I'll definitely be back!

Dorothy Burridge

Very interesting artwork with flowers

Nadia Lucía Zechinelli Zanella

Very pretty place with lots of plants and flowers for buying and enjoying. The cakes we had were very good.

Genevieve Malleck

Stopped for lunch at The Watering Can Flower Market while heading to Niagara on The Lake. The pastry market, patio, and beer garden looked amazing for photos. Great cocktails offered and the menu was the perfect size. I had the breakfast croissant sandwich and the piña colada cake. Everything was delicious! Desserts are large enough to share. The Nursery also offers so many different plants, all at very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back for more plants and another lunch.

Cheryl Wilson

Highly recommended a visit to the Watering can pastry market. The Food was great! Had an iced coffee to drink and the vegetable quiche w soup for lunch and bought a cheesecake to go. Everything was fantastic. I'm only 20 min from T.W.C which is dangerous because I am now craving that darn delicious cheesecake constantly lol.

Doona

High Tea was SO enjoyable, and an awesome opportunity to reconnect with a lifelong friend. The market needs time to really take it all in ... everything looks so we'll maintained and alive and vibrant! Such a great day... worth the drive and will definitely do it again and again !

Michael Liman

A lot of different kind of flowers to buy, however, I could not find Japanese Bonsai. Hopefully, they will sell Japanese Bonsai in the future. Parking lot is big.

Lauran Woods

The food is fresh and delicious. Their lunch menu is always fantastic, as is their huge selection of pastries, cheesecakes, cookies, and squares. There is no better place when it comes to atmosphere and scenery too! Oh, and the staff are all amazing!

Debb Wayland

Good segue for Christmas season. Generous portions of carefully prepared food items at lunch. Much to see, touch, appreciate in the greenhouse.

Hella Milles

Really cute place, great prices and care instructions on the plants!

S

A very neat flower market. Also love their cafe and patio.

Kevin Ang

A pastry shop inside a flower market for coffee and cakes while you shop. Service is friendly and lots of sweet treats on offer.

Cathy C

It's a good place for a nice lunch. I had quiche and soup which was delicious. Dessert classic peanut butter square was to die for delicious too. And good coffee. Afterwards we did a little shopping in the greenhouse shop.

Alexander Docouto

It’s great just not diverse

Chantal T

The surrounding is nice and the meal at the cafe but the baby and my daughter and myself suffered while eating of lake of ventilation and extreme heat..!! Will suggest ceiling fans water pipe providing mist while in the green house cafe

Christine Kluczynski

If I could give 10 stars I would. Absolutely incredible venue for unique gifts, gorgeous flowers and an even better cafe. They also offer different classes- floral arrangements, etc. The bakery is incredible. The lemon squares and salted caramel square are beyond words. Reasonably priced too- $18 for four large pastries. My kids loved the cookies and cream brownies. Such a quaint store! Cannot wait to be back.

Anna Paffrath

Great scones, tried the Cherry Almond. Loved the different plants!!!

John Devries

We had lunch here and found it was delicious. The staff was friendly and the price was good. The price of the plants were far higher than other retail stores but the displays were top notch and the ambiance is very relaxing.

Vickie Mahoney

Love this place. Always a healthy visit walking around all the beautiful greenery and flowers. Great design ideas and value for interior/exterior garden needs.

Leo Post

Great variety of pastries and coffee's, courteous and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

Devin Moodley

We went for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Items are a bit expensive, but almost everything is locally grown and fresh. You can definitely taste the difference! The chicken wrap was delicious, and the pastries are great. The restaurant and flower market are wheelchair accessible and there is a ramp to get between levels. The actual cafe is unpaved, but the rocky surface can be navigated on a wheelchair. Just make sure to get a high table. I wasn’t able to fit underneath a few of the tables there.

Sharon Denesi

I literally just received flowers and scones. The scones are amazing and the flowers are stunning. Best of all, it was a surprise. Such excitement in a pandemic.

Henrietta Wasik

Dining out in a pandemic is difficult. The Watering Can makes breakfast, lunch or brunch comfortable and as close to normal as can be. Ambience is excellent as is the limited menu.

N V

Dressed to Impress. Highest quality arrangements. My go to for pick up or delivery bouquets. My feedback from recipients is... impressed. Tempting arrangement classes too!

Larry Enns

Great selection of plants and gifts!

Patricia Hanneman

Nice Christmas atmosphere with all the plants & decorations. I had a light lunch soup, quiche & a coffee.

Meghann W

Incredible selection of unique tropical plants, fresh cut flowers, Hoyas and a fabulous little cafe with must try sweets & lattes!

Erica Hall

I literally go out of my way to stop here and am never disappointed! They have a huge selection of products and every is amazing! The ice tea could definitely use some work but all the food is great!

Lisa Warkentin

The Watering Can made my wedding cake and my bouquets for my wedding in June 2019. They did the most amazing job and literally brought my dreams to life! Everyone was so helpful and made so many suggestions to help me bring my ideas to life. The cake was delicious and so beautiful. The florals were absolutely breathtaking. The Vineland location is something to be seen, it is just so lovely being in there. Highly recommend!

Erin b

I've been a regular at the James street location for a while now, however I made my first trip to the vineland location and was blown away. Everything is so cute. I wanted to take it all home! I ended up with a beautiful pilea and a little bunny planter.

Erika G

Delicious treats! And they're so much to see while you're at the garden center. It's a beautiful place and they have tables nestled throughout the garden center so you can always have a quiet space to enjoy a nice drink and chat with friends. I can't say enough good things about this place

James Metcalfe

A gardening centre with charm, this place has basically everything you need for your garden, indoor and out. They have lots of different kinds of plants and flowers, and many other decorative pieces you can add as well.

v twocheese

Expensive eatery in a unique setting. Dirt and stone floor, surrounded by lots of greenery. Service was very good and quick. The eclectic furniture gives that rustic feeling.

Norm Belley

Very nice with lots of selection of plants. Had lunch there was very good

James Clarkson

Cool spot to enjoy a collective arts brew or something else to drink. Food available as well but only had drinks.

mmel1

Absolutely gorgeous place filled with an amazing variety of plants. Just love the creative decor! Staff seemed very nice and pastries looked delicious.

Amanda Hoiting

Went there with a group of girls from the office! Had a great time making magical Christmas plant sticks decoration tins. Plenty of great instruction and guidance for the plant tin guru man.

Brenda McCausland

A great place to have lunch or a coffee and exceptional sweets. A place to create at your price point. The Atmosphere is relaxing, with the sound of water, chirping birds and people chatting about the establishment , or their creation. A great place to visit, for any age.

Debra Gruhl

Fantastic place, so many amazing plants to choose from. Atmosphere is perfect. And their bakery items are to die for ???? If you haven't been you really need to go!! ❤❤

Jessica Lynn

Do yourself a favour: get in your vehicle and trek out here to the most interesting, peaceful, and gorgeous place to have coffee! The treats and latte were out of this world, and the sweet potato quesadilla with goat cheese was the perfect brunch. Surrounded by lush plants, the smell of greenery, and the sound of babbling fountains, you will feel a serenity unrivalled by other cafe settings.

Daniel Occhiuto

First time visiting, very friendly staff, unique dinning experience, great atmosphere.

Sylvia Han

It was very good experience! Food was great and atmosphere was ????????.

My wife and I visited the Pastry Market Cafe at the Watering Can in Vineland today for lunch. We ordered tomato with basil soup. Absolutely wonderful! The breakfast Panini on a croissant was incredible. We ended the meal with a lemon tart and vanilla bean flavoured tea. Also excellent. We strongly recommend this cafe. The food , service and ambience are terrific.

Nicole E

Wow! Their high tea was outstanding! Took my mother for her birthday and there was so much food we had to bring half of it home! Favourites were the croissant with chicken salad and cranberry and the Oreo cheesecake tartlet. Definitely worth the money!

Ali Azeem

Unbelievable nursery. Great selection and even better character. Beautiful place to spend and entire afternoon and their cafe is a value add. Would recommend as a must visit.

Barb Woodcock
