I am extremely disappointed with my experience here to say the least. It’s mother’s day and I’ve just picked up an arrangement from Ava Florist this morning. I called ahead to place an order and I requested an arrangement of tulips from the company’s website. I was assured it would be available for pickup on mother’s day at 9:00 AM. I was also charged ahead of time for this arrangement for close to $80.00. When I arrived to pick up my flowers, the lady there didn’t even have any record of my order.. instead she offered me some other small arrangement and said that was the one she made for me. This arrangement had maybe two tulips in it and was definitely not worth 80 dollars and not what I asked for... Now I am in a panic because it’s Mother’s Day and I don’t have what I need! She starts to rummage together whatever tulips she had left which was not the colours I wanted and she attempted to put together the arrangement I had asked for initially except it wasn’t at all what I had wanted and I’m sure she knew that by looking at the expression on my face. The arrangement was rushed and all the flowers were shoved together in a tiny vase that didn’t even fit the flowers, and it would be impossible to add water to later.. I’m honestly so unimpressed with the service and quite honestly pissed off that I was even charged still for the crappy arrangement I got. I came to this florist based off positive google reviews and I will definitely not be returning. I had another girlfriend pick up an arrangement at the last minute at different florist and it was beautiful! instead I got an ugly bouquet when I called ahead. Thanks to Ava Florist for messing up my mother’s day gift !

Lin was WONDERFUL! she was so sweet over the phone and gave me some wonderful ideas. I had never purchased flowers before so I didn't even know what to ask for. After telling her what the bouquet was for I trusted her to create something beautiful and she went beyond all my expectations. Thank you Lin!! Update - Lin to the rescue again! A dear friend suffered a family loss overnight so I called Lin first thing this morning and asked if there was any way I could have a small bouquet ready for pick-up asap. She was so accomodating and had the bouquet ready in 15 minutes ready for me to pick it up. Based on my previous experience I trusted her to pick the flowers and she created a GORGEOUS arrangement. Thank you again Lin! ❤️

So the first picture is what my mom received and second picture is what I ordered... Ava’s flowers tells me they met the requirements of their substitutions policy. I have to say I am very disappointed and will never purchase from Ava’s flowers or FTD ever again. As a florist I always try to design close to what is requested and if I can’t I call the customer and talk about options. They did none of this. I say look for a Teleflora product instead they are more likely to try and make their customer happy.

Amazing experience! Wanted to surprise my mom with birthday flowers and have them delivered, they helped when what I wanted wasn't in stock, and connected with me to ensure that she got them and they could be left in a safe place. Everything worked out and she loved them! :)

Very expensive tulip bunch ($14.) Found the exact same size tulip bunch at Mississauga Greenhouses for $8. two days later! Also you'd think they would've wrapped it nicely in cello & complementing tissue & ribbon?!? Nope. Just plain cello (ripped at the top opening ) & 1 lousy ribbon. So stingy all around! I got more beautiful flower bouquet wrapping at Mississauga Greenhouses. If you go here, know that they are ripping you off.

I called late on a Saturday afternoon to request a same day delivery, large birthday bouquet. The lady I spoke with was so accommodating, giving suggestions and worked with me to come up with an arrangement within my budget. It was delivered not even 2 hours after I called and the flowers are beautiful! Great customer service, great product and reasonable prices. 100% recommend Ava Florist.

Last moment order of large buqquet of flowers at friday 6.50pm over phone call for BD celebration. All local florist closed at 6pm. Lady was very patient and build beautiful piece what I picked it up once she told she is waiting for me . that's what i say is local business I want to have around me .Thank you.
