When first meeting Janis, my husband and I were quite confident and comfortable with choosing her to put together the flowers for our wedding. As time went on, we found her very difficult to communicate with. Many emails went unanswered. When I would follow up on unanswered emails, Janis would give many excuses such as (verbatim): "I assume my technology works so I didn’t check otherwise. You can also see the time of day that I do computer work after a long day outside. Your eyes are probably more keen than mine." or "I just finished delivering 3 weddings. We have a potential break in this springs constant rain. We need to get things planted before we get more rain." or "I have a workshop tonight, so cannot get to it." The day before the wedding came, and I still didn't receive proper communication about a final quote and wanted to pay her so I didn't have to worry about this the day of the wedding... Janis was extremely passive aggressive and it made me uncomfortable.
The day of the wedding, I was extremely disappointed. All of the 8 boutonnières were supposed to be white daisies (this was very clearly laid out in our communications - picture included). The 8 boutonnières arrived and they were all white roses.... They didn't match any of the other flowers. Now, every time I look at my wedding pictures, my husband's white rose sticks out. My bouquet was beautiful (hence the 2 star rating), but considering the difficult communication and completely messing up the boutonnieres, I am more than disappointed.
