I am not a flower person, so I had no idea what to select; I just wanted it to look beautiful! And that's exactly what they did! I was so happy to see the flower selection they recommended when they arrived. Although I was extremely excited for my son's graduation - I think I was more in love with the flowers! We had a very last minute request for my late grandfather. It was less than 24hrs and we also had to coordinate/order this outside of the province. Within a phone call or 2, we had the exact piece to honour my grandfathers heavenly soul. The cross arrangement was made and delivered the next day. It was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! My family received many compliments on this arrangement. Multiple people had said it was the most beautiful arrangement they’ve ever seen! Most importantly, my Nana simply adored them, they represented him wonderfully and she took them home with her as it felt right. Thanks for all your help assistance here. I purchased the "Luxurious Lavender Bouquet" for my wife's birthday and it was an absolute disaster. First, the delivery was sent on the wrong day! I ordered the day before her birthday and they sent them right away. The order clearly said it was for the next day. Next, they apparently did not have any of the flowers or the vase that I ordered, so they called me, left a message on my phone and then sent whatever they wanted. Whats the point of having all these beautiful arrangements on the site to choose from if theyre just going to send whatever they happen to have? This all cost me $140; wrong flowers. wrong vase. wrong day. And no response to my email either. Absolutely brutal.

A funeral and a birthday. I wanted flowers for both but I was unsure of what I wanted so I went to the store. I was greeted with a big smile and friendly, understanding lady who made me feel like royalty. Hating all the traditional sympathy arrangements, she knew instinctively what I wanted. For the birthday, it was similar and then I spotted their jewellery selection. I picked 3 pieces of jewellry and it would be worked into the arrangement. This was around 11 30 AM and I returned at 2 PM to approve their creations for me before delivery. I was stunned. The funeral arrangement was unique just like my Aunt. Beautiful flowers, greens, textures, fragrances. The Birthday arrangement so sophisticated and modern appropriate for a 24 year old Goddaughter. The jewellery, included as part of the design and she was elated. Julia's flowers even checked the next day to see if I was satisfied and if the flowers were still fresh. The family took the funeral arrangement home and my Goddauther, well, next year Julia' Flowers will be my parnter for another surprise. Nothing but praise for service and product.

The first image is what I ordered, the second is what was delivered. They did call me to say they were out of lilies and that they didn't have the vase I ordered, which I said was fine so long as they followed the colours and that the arrangement was of equal value. Basically I wanted something "similar". Obviously I don't expect the arrangement to look exactly the same as the photo, which is a digital arrangement, but this is pretty obviously an unacceptable replacement compared to what I ordered. Very disappointed. EDIT: After reading my review the owner called me and offered to send a second bouquet as a replacement. The owner obviously cares a lot about customer satisfaction and went out of her way to rectify the situation, which isn't something you see very often. I would recommend this shop, just make sure you specify very clearly your expectations for the arrangement and which colours/flowers you don't want in your bouquet in case they need to sub out certain flowers. One person's idea of "similar" may be different than another's, but Julia Flowers wants to make their customers happy.

First time ordering from Julia and I won't make the mistake again. I ordered a vase arrangement for a special birthday and wanted to support a local shop I hadn't ordered from in the past. When the arrangement arrived, it looked nothing like what was pictured on the website and the flowers were in very poor shape (browning/wilted). The specified flowers were not present and the colour was completely wrong. I understand that at times certain things aren't available or in season, but there was no disclaimer about this on the website, nor was I called to discuss substitutions. The colours were on the opposite end of the spectrum and something the recipient isn't fond of which defeated the purpose. I emailed them and did not hear any thing back, and the recipient emailed them and heard nothing as well. Finally the recipient called as the arrangement was dying within a day or so, and though they did arrange for new flowers to be sent, I'm very disappointed. Apparently they don't check that email so "didn't get our messages". Though the replacement flowers were discussed, its still not anything like what I paid for, and it was asked that the original dying florals be returned which I feel is in poor taste. The recipient was also asked that I (the sender) not leave a poor review because they "fixed the issue". I am all for speaking with the business/owners directly to solve an issue prior to leaving a poor review, which is exactly what was done here, but even after the "fix" I am not a happy customer. I wouldn't recommend this business and will not be using them again.

This place delivered my flowers late on my wedding day. That’s right we had to delay our wedding :( they also did not give the correct promised layout. They did not cover the stems so they were dripping down our dresses while going down the isle. The arrangement flowers for at the hall were all fake !!!!! We paid for real flowers :( how disappointed I am with the service! They promised pew bows, when I went to look they had tiny bows for present boxes. They changed me $15 each! I had to go out and purchase more fabric for them to correct :( after my wedding I went in respectfully to ask for a refund. They we’Re rude, didn’t take responsibility for making our wedding late! they were mean, they were sooo horrible! I will never recommend this place to another bride! Sorry but this is our experience. Spend your money else where. In my option this place is a big disappointment

This is one of the worst flower shops ever. They got two stars because their customer service was very nice and friendly but that's the only reason. They screwed up not once, not twice but 3 times. First apparently they are re-doing their website but they don't actually put that as a disclaimer on the web page. So my parents purchased a bouquet online. They were then called to say that is not the correct price. It's actually more money. (Seriously if you operate a web page you know how to put small disclaimers like prices may not be accurate or take your pricing off while you're working through it.) Strike number one. When they called to tell my parents that the price was different from the website. They actually called my number first asking for my dad and when I told them that this isnt his phone number they realized that they accidentally called the receiving phone number instead and ruin the surprise. I can understand maybe since I have a kitchener phone number and my parents live in toronto but with everything I just think they are so careless, Strike number 2. Finally the flower shop was told verbally over the phone as well as it was written instructions when they ordered online not to deliver before 3:30 p.m. . The person my mom spoke to assured her they wouldn't deliver before 330 and would definately call first. Well they delivered before 2:30 p.m. and called after they delivered to say that they left my flowers with my neighbour who I don't know and is not home right now so I can't even collect my flowers to see them. THE WORST FLOWER SHOP EVER. I'm sure their Arrangement is nice, if I could actually see it but with all the headache and Hassle and the ruined surprise I wouldn't trust them. ***Update*** The neighbours just brought over the flowers that are very nice but the message left to tell me they were at the neighbours told me the wrong address. And when they arrived the flowers barely had any water and the box was soaking wet to the point where the box wont stay together to hold the flowers. They almost fell through. WORST WORST WORST. Very nice arrangement though. It wont matter how nice a product is if you cant run a business properly you will fail.

Have to say they did an excellent job in making up for the mistake below (in quotes)on not delivery the chocolates with the flowers and agreed to give me a large box of chocolates instead of the small box I ordered. I would recommend this place to anyone especially since the flower arrangement was just spectacular!!!!! "Friendly staff, but messed up the delivery. I ordered flowers & a chocolate box to be delivered to my wife's work place. Only the flowers were delivered even though I was charged for the Chocolates.:(. I know they are busy on valentines day but that is no excuse for missing an item that has been charged for."

I can't give enough praise to Sophia at Julia Flowers. Recently I called her store in a manic to have a MASSIVE bouquet put together for our office and I told her I had a deadline for this arrangement in 45 minutes. Not only did she reassure me that this would be beautiful. She went above and beyond to make magic. I arrived at her store to find her working away on this beautiful potted arrangement and I had 20 minutes to spare before my deadline. Her display case was empty - she'd obviously put all her work into making my bouquet. And it showed! She tucked the arrangement into my car for me and even buckled it in to keep it safe. All I can say is WOW!! Quick backstory: For my dads birthday, I placed an order at another flower store (online) and what I paid for was clearly not what I got. I was upset because my dads surprise was ruined. We found Julia’s Flowers and the Owner (Sophia) was a true GEM!! She saved the day by creating a BEAUTIFUL arrangement in less than 2 hours, and personally went out to get the chocolates and pleasantries to make the arrangement personable. When we entered the store, she greeted us with a warm welcome and wrapped the arrangement very nicely. Sophia has truly been a wonderful help! I was quite upset with this florist. I had put an order in for Monday to have ready for Wed at 12:30 for a funeral and when I got there my flowers wernt there. I gave them a call to hear that they “missed” my paperwork because the printer wasn’t working. I was quite devastated. She didnt even offer to give us free flowers after I asked for my money back since it was too late. Not impressed with the customer service.

I would actually give this place 0 stars if I had the option. I was extremely hopeful with the great reviews in ordering through Julia's Flowers as I was referred to them by KW Flowers since my order was so big. My advice if you have never ordered from here is don't waste your time or money. I'm extremely dissatisfied to the point of disgust. My family ordered over $2000 worth of flowers for my grandmother's funeral at the Henry Walser funeral home which is located on the same street as this flower shop. About a 5 minute walk. She charged us $10 per arrangement for delivery and $25 per arrangement for a ribbon with our names on it. First off, delivery should have been free. The ribbon that had our names on it had the letters stapled on and some of the names weren't even spelled correctly. The arrangements were very small and dissapointing. They were made up to be very sparse with the least flowers as possible and were very tiny. Mind you we paid around $200-$300 per arrangement. We didn't have time to complain for replacements as they were delivered the day of the funeral and because we were obviously grieving. My sister from Toronto ordered the exact same arrangement (gentle thoughts spray, Premium) as I did and for some reason hers was much smaller then mine. My arrangement was already small in itself. I can't even begin to explain the dissatisfaction of the flowers that were delivered to us for our grandma's funeral. We had to bunch them together as close as possible in attempt to make it look like the display around her casket was full, in which it shouldn't even have been one of our worries. This is an honest review and I highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere. Ordering through their website, the photos that you see are not what you are going to receive upon delivery. Expect half the flowers and half the size of the arrangement in the pictures. A never again customer

I would not order flowers from this florist! They messed up on funeral flowers for my daughter's company and the funeral home was right around the corner from their shop. They not only didn't deliver the flowers to the funeral home the day of the funeral but they then delivered them to the grieving widow's home the DAY AFTER, saying they said they thought that would be good enough. They then refused to give a refund!!They had even admitted it was their fault. Stay away from this florist! Very unprofessional and I won't be ordering any flowers from them ever!

Totally rediculous can’t understand the good reviews on here. Received horrible flowers that were not even close to what I ordered. No call or anything just showed up end of day with wrong flowers in a scratched vase that looked used. Owner was nice and apologized made a lot of excuses which wasn’t helpful. Website says this shop is open till 4:00pm on Saturdays but was closed once I arrived. I went there to buy some flours and looking into booking wedding arrangements, I arrived 20 minutes before 4 and stuck around for 10 minutes before giving up. If you're to lazy to keep your shop open then you're not cut out to be a business.

I'm going to preface this comprehensive review stating that prior to posting this I addressed the issues with Julia Flowers (Sophia) both by phone and in person, without resolution. I am going to also clarify that I am *NOT* looking for a refund (partially or otherwise), but was merely asking for an acknowledgement on what was delivered to be of poor quality and incorrect, and a apology for the inappropriate language used with my sister in law over the phone the morning of our wedding. Sophia neglected to do either (calling us all liars) and I find it necessary to share our experience in the hopes others are not disappointed on their wedding day. We hired Julie Flowers to prepare the floral arrangements for our wedding on September 3rd. The total cost was around $3k, and a 50% deposit was provided up front. My now wife had followed up a few times by text to ask the status, but was provided with short 'its too early' responses. She did reach out the week prior, asking for payment in full due to her fiscal year end. We compromised and made payment in full with the agreement that we could view the two large (main) arrangements at her floral shop. They looked great (see attached photo) and we requested that our mothers have smaller versions of the large bouquets to which she confirmed she would make. She also showed the mens boutonnieres (in packages) and I was satisfied with the quality. The morning of the wedding Sophia dropped the arrangements at our venue and left before we could see anything. A few of the bridesmaids had come down and quickly realized that not all the flowers were delivered and that the ones that were looked wilted and browning. My sister in law (3 of which were bridesmaids) called her immediately to come back and address them and to bring the remaining flowers. She was stern but respectful and was told at some point to 'blank off' and was hung up on. For the mothers, two bouquets were provided that did not look anything like the large arrangements (see photo). Cake flowers were forgotten and she returned with what appeared to be whatever was at her shop (see photo). The water in some of the glassware didn't appear to be clean or changed (see photo) I picked up the boutonnières at her floral shop (without any knowledge of what was unfolding at the venue) and my best man and I both noticed that the entire box of flowers looked well past their freshness. Almost like the floral fridge was too cold or stopped at some point. We took them anyway and all the guys went to the venue to get ready. The wedding coordinator and assistant helped us put on our boutonnières and 2 of them immediately broke away from the stem (the roses). They were browning and the girls had a struggle to put them on our lapels due to the stems being broken. I spoke at length to Sophia, and not once did she take accountability for any of it. She blamed the wedding staff for breaking the flower stems on the boutonnieres, said the flowers were of the highest quality (they really weren't close to it, sorry), and that we got exactly what we ordered (we didn't). Additionally, she called my sister in law a liar for accusing her of foul language (when two other bridesmaids also corroborated the story), told me my mother in law approved the drop off (she didn't, I spoke to her right afterwards) and dismissed my concerns altogether. I am a small business owner too, and know that customer satisfaction and service is the lifeblood of any business. I did NOT take this review lightly, as I know many people may see this. However I really felt that something needed to be said. Note: contrary to her below response, she never ONCE called me to have things resolved the day of the wedding. When pressed why, she said she didn't want to bother me. If we're her clients this makes no sense. And she hasn't addressed the order being incorrect and missing.

I had ordered flowers for a funeral. I thought it would be better to support a local business versus ordering online through a site such as FTD. This is the last time I will ever make this mistake. I first asked for a copy of the invoice and never received this and then the flowers were never delivered and was never called regarding the issue. Since they were not delivered I had arranged a donation in memory to a non profit organization instead and called the company to have the charge reversed off my card. They had told me they contacted the recipient and arranged to have them delivered, which they had never contacted me about and refused to refund my card.

I was so surprised and happy because we needed a last minute casket spray for Saturday morning. They looked at some photos we shared and got to work Friday morning. Would not recommend. Ordered 2 funeral arrangements, one from my imlaws (whose arrangement was $150 (she "said" she couldnt do for $125) and one from my husband and I ($100). We had asked for peony, she said she has them so we went with her. The arrangements got delivered to the funeral home. My mother-in-law went to the funeral and found her card on the small arrangement and NO peony. When I called to ask why no peony she said they were too small. She also said the cards were correct when she dropped them off. Then, she asked if she could send an arrangement to my mother-in-law to apologize for the mishap, we said sure and it was never sent. I texted multiple times. She had excuses each time then asked me for a delivery charge to send them. Unbelievably poor customer service. I would never buy from here ever. You ask for something and get something cheaper and totally different.

I received valentines day flowers from this shop. While the flower arrangement was grand in size .. it was mis-matched, layered, amateur looking (zehrs does a similar job). To say i'm disappointed is an understatement. The flowers for my wedding were horrible. She may be good at doing mothers day bouquets but don't ask her to do your whole wedding because you will not like it. Most of the flowers were either wilted or not even bloomed yet. After the wedding when I took the bouquets apart like 90% of it was either fake or cheap greenery. Also I think she might be the most unprofessional vendor in history. Just don't make the same mistake we did. Go somewhere else!!

Julia Flowers did a casket spray for my husband and the arrangement was gorgeous. The flowers that needed to substituted were breathtaking. Sophia and Stella do their utmost to give the customer the very best. I know they went out of their way to create the beautiful arrangement. It meant a great deal to the family to have this wonderful spray for our husband, father and grandfather.

Purchased a funeral wreath. Was disappointed it did not look the same. I paid extra fee for custom printed ribbon. But it was hand stitched in gold letters. The two line words blended into the flower, no one knew what was written. Just visualize, pink flowers and gold letters on the stage. Not professionally done. The bottom pink ribbon was missing. (see photo). It is strongly recommended to request a photo before shipment. Website does say 100% satisfaction guarantee....

Shopped on their website, decided on a bouquet and placed my order. Once received, it was completely different than what I asked for, I mean completely different. How do you go from wanting an arrangement with mostly roses to getting no roses, but lilies? I guess they have a hard time with direction or they are hard of hearing. Would not deal with them again!
