When placing the order online, I selected the delivery method as it states they deliver to the "Kingston Area" but when attempting to check out, there was no place to enter the delivery address. Upon calling, I was informed that yes, they would deliver but it would be an additional $30 to deliver within the City of Kingston limits on top of the $60 that I already paid for the flowers. Therefore, I declined the delivery. Picking up the flowers was easy and most of them looked nice however, it was a lot of money for what I ended up receiving. Not to mention, the roses were already going brown and did not look very nice. I was rather disappointed. This is not everyone's experience as many people have had lovely things to say about Loyalist Flowers, however, this was just my experience.

There is a lot of competition out there for online floral delivery, but I must say I was impressed with Loyalist Flowers. Their web-site was quicker to enter the info on than another competitor site (that I only got half way through before I realized it was offering Kingston, Ontario delivery in US dollars-ouch). Also, the fact that there was no delivery charge with this site made it much more economical than the 'other' website I was going to use, which was showing a delivery charge of $16.95.

The initial online order was easy and simple. The bouquet arrived exactly when I was told it would - to Amherst Island no less!! Fantastic customer service for an online order from the U.S. Loyalist does everything it can to ensure they successfully deliver a beautiful and fresh floral product. I asked for a Monday delivery, but Loyalist tried twice -- unsuccessfully -- to reach the recipient to make sure she'd be home when they delivered. They called me and we decided to have the flowers delivered Tuesday instead. Rather than refrigerating the arrangement overnight, Loyalist offered to remake it on Tuesday and use Monday's flowers in something else they were doing that day-- wow!! After the Monday delivery truck went out without the flowers on board, the recipient called and said she'd gotten home after all. A store employee (Maria) delivered the flowers on her way home that evening -- not part of her usual duties, but as a favour to make sure my relative received the flowers on her actual birthday. The customer service wouldn't mean as much if the flowers weren't also up to par, but they were really lovely. Excellent communication and beautiful floral product -- I recommend without reservation.

So very impressed with Trish and the other staff, a delight to work with them from start to end! We were looking for a good place to shop for flowers in town and found this one had high ratings. Their website was the best we've seen and they have a good selection of flower arrangements. Their prices are good too, with no delivery fee if ordered online. The delivery person was very friendly. They called before they came. Note that what they show on their website and what you get may be different depending on season and availability of flowers, but what was sent was close to what was pictured. Only disappointment was the roses had opened quite a bit.
