Last week I contacted Michelle as I wanted to send an arrangement to my sister for her birthday. Not living in KIngston myself I pursued the various florists and Chartreuse seemed to stand out as being unique. Michelle and I talked in some detail about the arrangement and I sent her a few photos to give her an idea of what I wanted. Not only did she meet my expectations, she far surpassed them and the arrangement was absolutely gorgeous. I wanted to use unusual flowers and had a particular look and colour in mind and Michelle got it in spades! She even had it delivered at precisely the right moment; while my sisters and I were having a zoom call. My sister is absolutely thrilled - even the container was perfect! A week later the flowers that were in bud are opening and the arrangement is still stunning as you can see from the photos. Thank you Michelle - you clearly put a lot of time, love and effort into your masterpieces and it shows!

A true treasure of a shop, must not miss when you're in Kingston. Plenty to browse through in the shop (not just flowers!), all sorts of goodies for your garden and everything else. Shop owner Michelle is a warm and personable person with two seriously cute dogs. Pictures of arrangements don't do justice, gorgeous arrangements.

She made it up with some greens and baby's breath and wrapped it in cellophane and then paper and wrapped it with a red bow. She clipped on her card with a cute clothes pin and I couldn't be happier. This is the best flower shop in town! It isn't your typical dry, cookie cutter arrangements, or even cookie cutter flowers. Michelle always puts together a spectacular arrangement, no matter what price range you have! If you go in, you'll likely love and want everything, but if your budget won't allow for everything, go ahead and get a single cut flower. Even with that, Michelle will make it look like a complete bouquet. How she does it, I'm not sure! but if you're driving past, or need flowers or a unique hand-crafted gift for someone special, I suggest stopping in and saying hi to Belley, Hairy, Goldie, and ofcourse Michelle. If you go once, you will certainly return.

Amazing, creative wedding florist Michelle was a phenomenal wedding florist in her creativity, reliability and reasonable pricing. She found a way to stretch our budget to create the most stunning backdrop for our indoor wedding ceremony (at the Rosemount Inn), and created a bridal bouquet that took my and my mother’s breath away. The boutonnieres were refined, delicate and a piece of art unto themselves. She’s also really fun to communicate with and a delight to work with. I'm so grateful to have found someone I can trust to fulfill special plans on special days (or ordinary days made special) for special friends. Both the bouquet and service were superlative. My lady remarked how sweet she found the owner, Michelle's, note to be. I had to reschedule the delivery date as she was out of the office on V-Day. Michelle, unbeknownst to me, indicated on the delivery note that I had not forgotten the day but simply made arrangements ahead of time to deliver upon her return. She sounded more touched by Michelle's sentiments than mine! The lady was floored and, in turn, so have I. Thank you! Chartreuse has meant one less thing to worry about with this LDR. Phew!

This little shop is a Kingston treasure. If you need a crafty gift or flower arrangement, this is the place to go. The arrangements are not only unique, but very high quality. They always last longer than I expect them to.The owner works on each arrangement herself, so the attention is very personalized. But don't be deceived, she takes large orders as well. I once had the chance to see her work on a big wedding order, including centerpieces, bouquets and all, and the arrangements were gorgeous. And if you don't want to spend much, she'll cut a single flower for you and somehow turn it into a beautiful and inexpensive piece. This flower shop is truly worth visiting.

Very rude, instead of saying just a minute to the customer she was on the phone with she was rude talking to me when the customer on the phone thought she was talking to them. I understand that the pandemic was hard on everyone but very bad customer service and very disappointed all over a single rose, guess I will start looking elsewhere to shop for flowers. Maybe her adds should say selling flowers for special occasions and not single customers, known Michelle for a bit very disappointed in her.

I must commend Michelle because she realizes the importance of customer to her business. I ordered flowers for my anniversary and they were delivered on time. After 1 day the roses began to wilt. I was not happy so 4 days later I called to complain and within an hour there was a beautiful bouquet delivered to my front door. Now that is a small business owner who services her valued customer. I was one of those inconsiderate people who put an order in at close of business, for a next day delivery. Not only did the owner text me to reassure me she could make it happen, she got a little of the backstory from me and went above and beyond. My sister was eloping, and due to COVID restrictions, only 2 local friends were to be in attendance, as family all live elsewhere. My sister didn't put much heart into it because of these trying pandemic times, and so the owner was the one to suggest we turn my arrangement into a bouquet and boutonniere, which they didn't have. In the end, her spectacular flowers were what made this feel like a true wedding. In addition, this touching gesture will always be one of the key highlights of the day for all of us.

She listens to what ppl want and stocks her shelves (and amazing walk in cooler {which is a must see}) accordingly. There are one of a kind hand crafted cards, loads of gift ware items, many of which are unique pieces from local artisans. There is also a rentable workshop space in the back that will suit all your crafting/class needs at a very reasonable rate. There is parking behind the building. Go see for yourself & support a local girl boss!!
