At our initial consultation we discussed the general colour scheme and vibe/theme I was thinking of. She listened to my ideas and then added some suggestions and brilliant ideas of her own that I immediately fell in love with – like the dreamiest, most beautiful flower chandelier she made for our ceremony/reception! I don’t know anything about flowers so I was happy to let Lauren come up with all of the specifics. It made the entire process so easy and the flowers, bouquets, ceremony installation, and centrepieces she did for our wedding were absolutely perfect and surpassed anything I had imagined. Lauren took my vision to an entirely new level. I was inspired by pampas grasses, wild flowers and the dried floral trend. I wanted the colour palette kind of muted and really organic. At our planning session I showed Lauren some inspo photos and called out a few buzz words like above, but really just gave her the creative freedom to do whatever, and I was not disappointed. Lauren put together my beautiful bouquet, my husband's and the dad's boutonnieres, little centerpieces with beautiful white ceramic vases that Lauren sourced, and a stunning four-piece ground archway that formed a semi-circle around us during the ceremony. We later repurposed the archway around the dance floor. Lauren was so kind and fun to work with, she was a real trooper in the 40+ degree weather, and best of all she did a stunning job. I would absolutely recommend Lauren if you are looking for a custom and boutique floral experience for your wedding.

We hired Lauren at Stone House for complete floral and event design services for our intimate wedding/dinner party this past summer. Her approach to floral design is unique, garden-inspired yet refined, and as soon as I stumbled upon her portfolio, I immediately hired her for our event before we had made any other decisions. We were planning our wedding from out-of-province and would need an experienced vendor team we could fully trust and Lauren graciously provided us with her experienced and candid opinion to guide us in selecting everyone from our planner to photographer. In perfect coordination with our event planning team, she took a leadership role in helping design our event including: site planning , stationery and signage, tablescape, cake, and of course florals. She constructed a vision for the evening by incorporating inspiration from our travels and favorite resorts, interior design elements from our home in Toronto, and inspiration photos I'd flip to her at all hours. This provided for a meticulously cohesive design that flowed through all elements of our event allowing for a full transformation of our private property and had guests questioning whether they were still in Winnipeg. I remember Lauren delivering my bouquet the morning of my wedding. I am a self-labelled "anti-bride" and didn't want a bouquet but she convinced me that I'd regret not having this small element of tradition. I provided very little direction and was unsure what she would come up with and it was just.absolutely.perfect. She had taken small things I had said in passing, photos I had tagged, and somehow come up with a bouquet that was beautiful but not "bridal". Lauren is an expert at her craft, hard-working, detail-oriented, and creative. If you are lucky enough to have her, my advice is allow her to take full creative control and just prepare to keep saying "wow" when you see what she comes up with.
