The team at Hi-Way Florists called to make sure that someone would be home today to receive the flowers (as it's -50) and when I said they could just leave them outside they politely informed me that the flowers would die and refused to do so. This shows how committed they are to quality and customer service! Most places would not care as long as they got their money and got the flowers out. Thank you Hi-Way Florists.

I needed a funeral arrangement and was late ordering it. The woman on the phone was extremely helpful, going way out of her way to explain how exactly I could deliver the arrangement myself in a tasteful and discreet way. And it was beautiful. I was specific that I wanted something modern with mostly pinks and that's exactly what I got. Thank you!

I received a beautiful arrangement yesterday, and one flower died overnight (a gerber daisy) so I removed it from the vase and it turned out the flower was already dead when I received it because they put green wire on it to hold the flower's face up.

I love this flowershop! The service is professional and fast and they never fail to deliver smiles on all my family and friends faces when they receive their beautiful arrangements! I even used their services to have flowers delivered overseas in Germany and it worked out great. You can't go wrong with this place and I find it is hard to find this sort of business nowadays. This place is a well oiled machine and all the staff is always so friendly and helpful. Quality and a fair price matched with excellent customer service, is what Hi-way Florist in Henderson Highway provides. Thank you soooo much to all the staff and management!

I placed an order online & had to call in because I accidentally selected the wrong day. When I called the lady who answered seemed annoyed... right off the hop she said they have a very low inventory of flowers & she wanted to check to see if they had the proper flowers in stock. I was easygoing and said "well its fine, just keep pastels colors" then I received another call regarding delivery & that lady seemed annoyed with me too. I thought paying $70 for a bouquet was a little steep BUT I wanted to do something nice for my parents.. well the bouquet was very mismatched ... hot pink roses & blue hydrangeas don't match& the flowers just looked sad. Even my bf who knows nothing about flowers said they look terrible! I could've hand picked a much nicer bouquet from sobeys for half the price & whoever is working the phone should take some customer service classes. Every second review says their customer service is terrible, I wish I read the reviews before hand. Save your money & support another local business that cares about their product & customers. ***** update *** yes my mom did return the bouquet as most of the flowers she got died the next day after delivery ( you guys told her to come in and bring the bouquet back) Even the lady working these said " oh my" and agreed they looked terrible. When my mom was picking up the 2nd bouquet the flowers did look better * but not a $70 bouquet. My mom asked where the original vase was that came with the original bouquet, the lady said that its a $30 vase & we can't give you that vase. Apparently the only reason my mom got that vase, was because the original bouquet wasn't very nice & they made up for it with the $30 vase. ... ok ? I paid for nice flowers, not a vase. Anyway, when my mom picked up the 2nd bouquet she was presented with a very cheap & ugly green vase, they refused to give her the original one. One would think after receiving a mismatched/dying bouquet & having to RETURN 2 X - they would just throw in the vase, well no! I guess they reuse vases... cuz what else are they doing with it. I NEVER RECEIVED A REFUND ON MY CREDIT CARD & ANYBODY IN MY POSITION WOULD BE UPSET. For the owner to attack me & say I have an agenda & that I have issues is very unprofessional. Every second review says this place has terrible customer service. I have never dealt with ppl that are so unprofessional IN MY LIFE. And don't worry, I'LL NEVER PLACE AN ORDER WITH YOU GUYS AGAIN, AND I DON'T SEE WHY I WOULD STEP FOOT ON THE PROPERTY... BUT OK. Good luck hiway florists - you'll need it. **** SCAM??*** EXCUSE ME??? HOW WOULD I KNOW THAT MY MOM WOULD RECIEVE A MISMATCHED BOUQUET, THAT DIED THE NEXT DAY *** MAYBE YOU SHOULD BE FORTHCOMING ABOUT THE QUALITY OF YOUR FLOWERS *** TO WHICH YOU EVEN ADMITTED LOOK BAD ( HENCE THE $30 VASE STORY) IT SEEMS AS THO YOU GUYS ARE THE PEOPLE PULLING A SCAM SELLING FLOWERS AT A PREMIUM PRICE **** I hope going forward you & your staff at hiway florists improve on your customer service skills. Your responses are completely inappropriate & unprofessional. *** You guys are seriously insane, as a consumer I have the right to review you on Google. I ordered flowers online for my mom for Mother’s Day as we live in another country. They were supposed to deliver flowers to her business because she lives out of town but of course they showed up after it closed. After spending over 100 on these flowers, when I called to see why they weren’t delivered, they had the nerve to be extremely rude and very unprofessional. The word ‘trashy’ comes to mind. As my mom is elderly she wasn’t able to pick up her own flowers, so a friend picked them up for her - nothing like buying my mom’s friend flowers for Mother’s Day!!! The rude rip off artists at HiWay florists did nothing to help resolve the issue and probably won’t even refund the $15 delivery charge to NOT deliver the flowers. Thieves. Do not buy flowers here.

I was persuaded to try hi-way over based on reviews left for Sonya’s flowers. What a mistake! Their customer service is ALMOST as horrendous as their product. I would not recommend to anybody ever and would absolutely leave negative stars if I could. Never again

Flowers are beautiful!! I have now ordered from Hi-Way florists on multiple occasions, every year and I am always impressed. As i don't live in Winnipeg anymore, delivery makes my life so much easier. I have never once had a problem with delivery or the price of flowers (you should check out other competitors in Winnipeg, that deliver $$$). I just want to say thank you to everyone that works here you do a great job, keep it up! I will be ordering from you soon. Cheers!!

The flowers were beautiful. However, their customer service was awful. I ordered on line & called to confirm the colours of the flowers, because it may not be exactly like the picture. Kim who answered the phone, was rude & argumentative. I understand their busy, but that's no excuse for being rude. She argued with me over the colours in the arrangement & said she was looking on the website. I said I was too & when I said the name of the arrangement she yelled at her co-worker for the order & then said "it's already gone out & it matched the picture" with attitude. I like supporting local businesses, but I'll twice before I order again.

For 13 years from florists in 3 different parts of the country on Valentines Day I order my wife a single stargazer lily. This year she didn't get one from hiway florists. When I called to complain, they attempted to convince me it was a "variety" of stargazer. FAIL.

Ordered a wreath for a funeral over the phone. The young woman on the phone was so respectful, gentle, and compassionate. It was last minute, but she made it happen. I was a bit of a mess but she was patient and sincere. The wreath was lovely. I told her blue was a favourite colour and although not many flowers come in blue, she made that happen too. People commented on how fragrant it was. Customer service and flower arrangement was over and above. Initially I chose this florist because it has the loveliest store front on Henderson. I will now go back for it's exceptional quality of service.

Hi....I know there is always a statement that says "may not be exactly as shown"...and I take that to mean the flowers and accept that. However, I specifically chose the first arrangement I ordered because it included a stuffed bee dressed as a nurse which I knew my daughter's niece would love once the flowers were done. The second one I ordered had a Campbell's Chicken Noodle cup as the container...My daughter was recovering from an operation and loves Campbell's soups so I thought...how perfect is that. But the arrangement came in a Happy Face vase, So no I was not satisfied with my orders and hope my feedback is helpful in at least making sure the containers are as shown. Thank you Dorothy Kaytor

On Saturday, June 4, I contacted this shop because I had placed a very important and specific order of flowers with another shop and I was supposed to pick up that day but they then ended up closing their business for repairs on that day and did not bother to notify me. Hi Way Florist did their best to get me a nice arrangement as close to what I was looking for given the (extremely) last minute request. And the flowers looked great! Thank you so much for the great customer service! Highly recommended! :-)

My sisters and i went in for Wedding flowers yesterday and told the woman what we had wanted. Everything was going great and the prices were pretty average and we would've very likely have considered this place. Top 3 choices for sure price wise. But then towards the end of the meetingshe asked if i was the first place we had been to, i said we had been to about 4 already then i asked (as i did with all other places i was at) for a copy of what we had talked about and what i was getting (what was in each bouquet/corsage/boutonneire, exactly how many flowers in each bouquet, and what it was all going to cost me). To which she replied "No, i'm sorry i can't" I thought she was kidding as no other place had a problem doing so. So i asked if she was joking. she said "No, because i could take that paper to another florist and ask them to beat her price" Are you F'ing kidding me?!?!? This thought didn't even cross my mind and i sure as heck didn't walk in there and show her all my other quotes from other florists. Very rude and unprofessional. Made me feel like i wasn't going to get what we had talked about and she didn't want me to know until my wedding day and get something i didn't even ask for. Complete turn off! I'd rather spend a bit more and get from someone more honest.
