This flower shop is vintage and has a good reputation but the designs are vintage too. Staff was ok.

I was absolutely floored with how great they are. I've dealt with a different company before that is local and was very unprofessional. This was a huge breath of fresh air. They still delivered on time during this uncertaint time, followed my delivery instructions perfectly, and even made sure I was happy with the changes that had to be made. I highly recommend them

I love this store. I've ordered several arrangements here and always been pleased. Today I mistakenly ordered silk flowers for delivery using my phone and thinking I'd ordered fresh ones. Online orders are fulfilled from Courtice. But the Whitby store took them back and replaced them with a beautiful fresh cut bouquet. All my mistake and they couldn't have been nicer. Thanks folks.

I attended Van Belle Flowers in Whitby on October 23, 2020 in the afternoon with my husband. We were going to purchase flowers. As soon as we entered the shop, I was told by a gentleman who was working in the shop located at the back of the shop behind plexiglass that I must wear a mask. Although I was wearing a face shield, this apparently was unacceptable to him. I pointed out to the gentleman that I was wearing a face shield and that I could not wear a cloth mask (due to medical condition), but he would not accept that, so I left with my husband and will never return to Van Belle Flowers - Whitby. We were the ONLY customers in the shop when this happened and I was shocked that my face shield was unacceptable to this gentleman. Sad but true....Anyway, we went to another local florist nearby, DMP Flowers and Gifts, who accepted me with my face shield and provided us a beautiful flower arrangement. The service at DMP Flowers and Gifts was impeccable, so I guess all worked out in the end.

Wonderful to deal with. As I was crushed for time dealing with the passing of my mother there was no time to go into the store. Everything was done on line and by phone. I must say A+++quality and service. Memorial flowers where very close to what was pictured on line...or better. The only thing, and mind you this is nit picky would be the size of insignia used on each arrangement. More like a flag where I would of preferred a wrap around ribbon insignia. Thank You

Bought a dozen long-stem Rose's for my wife on our 7th anniversary. I've bought LOTS flowers over our 14 yr time together. I have to say, these Roses are absolutely beautiful. Unbelievable service! I just called at 1pm to place a "hopeful" sameday order. The woman on the phone said no problem and efficiently took my info and message. The flowers were delivered 1.5 hours later. Very impressive! The recipient was very touched and happy to receive some flowers to brighten the difficult anniversary day of losing her son.
