Beautiful flowers, excellent customer service, very fast delivery. I got a medium bouquet (looked even larger in real life), box of painted chocolates (they look really expensive in person), fancy papyrus card (looks amazing, with tassels), a birthday balloon (came with a free blowy thingy), and a candle (so well packaged and large, best investment ever). Cant recommend this place enough, very very happy.

I do not write reviews but I felt it absolutely necessary to write this one. I went to the store in Oshawa to purchase flowers for my father’s 70th birthday. I purchased a bouquet that was already prepared, and I paid for some flowers to be added to it so it would make for a bigger bouquet. The woman at the shop added the flowers and wrapped it all up. When the bouquet was opened up, there were some flowers that were dead, and several others that were on their last leg. I called the number provided (as Reeds guarantees their product) and I advised the man on the phone of the situation. He was apologetic and he told me to go back to the store, they would be happy to replace the dead flowers. When I went back to the store the woman at the shop acted as though I was a burden. She went through the flowers and decided which ones she would change. She replaced the flowers she took out with completely different flowers and she did not replace the greenery. The flowers that were dead were white and mauve. She replaced those flowers with mainly yellow ones, completely changing the look of the bouquet. Some of the flowers she replaced the old flowers with had much shorter stems than the rest of the flowers in the bouquet. When I asked if she had any flowers similar to the ones that she took out, she brought me to the refrigerator, evidently annoyed, and showed me what they had. While most of the flowers from the original bouquet were not available, there were several flowers that were similar in colour tone, so I asked that she use those flowers instead of the yellow ones. The end result: a very, very disappointing bouquet. The original bouquet was small to begin with for the money paid, but the “replaced” bouquet was even smaller. Now, not even 48 hours later, some of the flowers are dying. I spent nearly $50 on the bouquet; a bouquet that would easily be rivaled by almost any $20 bouquet from a grocery store - I mean that! I saw the star rating for Reeds florist when I did a google search for florists in the area, and so I wasn’t expecting excellence, but I went there out of convenience and at least expected a descent product. What I got was mediocre at best. I wasted my time, I wasted my money, and my memories of presenting my father with some nice flowers for a special birthday are tainted with the feeling of embarrassment. My dad is too much of a gentleman to complain, but every time I see the flowers I feel like I have been ripped off, and honestly, if they were my flowers I would throw them out - they cause more grief than joy. Do not shop here!

I called in to find out if they kept Eucalyptus in stock and they didn't just confirm the availability but also called the other actual location I thought I had called at while I was on phone to check for stock there. My Fiancé got me roses for Valentine’s Day (yesterday) For $78 and the petals are already starting to fall. The sale lady apparently told him she was going to go get the “fresh ones from the back”. These roses are far from fresh, they are browning on the tips, the petals are falling and you can see that some petals were cut off. So disappointed.

Paid $130 for an all white funeral bouquet. Asked the man on the phone to substitute some white with blue or even red to make it more "manly". He advised me i could pay more to have blue added. I was charged an extra 20$ to do so which i was fine with, even though most shops wouldve simply swapped out some flowers to get what you wanted. Got to the funeral to see they had added PURPLE flowers!! so i paid $20 more ontop of the already 130 price to make the bouquet more "manly" and they added very bright purple flowers?! (making it very feminine). Basically any color BUT purple and pink would have been fine... or i wouldve stuck with all white! ....Very disappointed... dont trust this business with your important events - they clearly dont care and it shows... you only get one shot with most of these special events so attention to detail SHOULD be top priority... ***sent me an "apology" email basically insinuating i was colorblind and it was simply an issue of shade rather than apologizing.... why bother contacting me at all? Customer service as bad as their attention to detail.*** Pic added to show validity of complaint

The flowers are excellent but this morning before receiving them I got a phone message saying to call a certain number. The person at the other end of the phone asked me why I had called Reed's. I said that I just got a phone message to call and that I saw a Reed's delivery van across the street and he probably has a delivery for me. The young man then said'"well, answer the door." I was kind of surprized at his unprofessional reply to me. I had just gotten out of the shower so that is why I probably didn't hear anyone at my front door. I opened the door and waved my arms trying to catch the driver's attention. No luck. I then put on my coat and WALKED ACROSS THE STREET IN MY SLIPPERS to get the driver's attention. I told him what had happened. He apologized for what had happened but it was not his fault. [Order #218934]

Over the years I have bought flowers from all 3 of the stores in Durham. Never have I been disappointed. I give the staff an idea of what I want and leave them to it. I am not satisfied with the arrangement that was delivered to an out-of-town friend. I understand that substitutions of types of flowers are possible, but the arrangement that arrived was definitely not as vibrant nor as composed as the photo on which I based my selection. I paid $75 for flowers that reminded me of ones that I could have purchased at any grocery store and stuck in a vase. Very disappointed and will not be using your services in the future.

AVOID THIS SHOP Ordered flowers through this location and was given the wrong product. When I complained they blamed the mistake on me - these people have no idea what customer service means. I actually went out of my way to make this my first and only review. Normally I won't bother but these guys are TERRIBLE. Stay away!

I have purchased from Reed's on several occasions - for several occasions and have always experienced great customer service. Staff is quite knowledgeable about the different plants and flowers and helpful with tips on how to keep flowers fresher, longer. I like the variety of exotic and different cut flowers so my bouquets are always unique.

Bought my girlfriend flowers for valentines for 37.99 out of the buckets you had near front of store the night before valentines at 830 PM took them home right away cut bottoms put in a vase with fresh water. Morning of valentines hydrangea that was in the arrangement was pretty well wilted and my girlfriend had to boil water and put that one flower in a cup to bring it back to life. Others flowers were dead in 2 days my point here is paying 37.99+ tax they should last at least 5 days for that price. Abit pricey for what they were and how long they lasted. Next time I'll stick with van belles.
