I order a $95 bouquet of roses for my sister this morning. It was delivered promptly about 5 ins ago. But it’s a disappointment. The arrangement didn’t look anything like the display picture they advertised. It said pink roses and that’s the main reason I choose that one. However they sent red roses. I wanted to really love this place but I am not sure I will use them again.

Such a fantastic company! Ordered and had flowers delivered the same day! I love that the website has a countdown to let you know if you will make the deadline for same-day delivery. And the delivery driver was incredibly friendly. A+

DMP helped me with the flowers for my late father's funeral. They were kind and professional in the call when we set up the flowers. They gave me excellent advice in deciding what flowers to have at the funeral home. When I arrived at the funeral home I was incredibly impressed with the beauty of the flowers and how well they executed my vision. The flowers they provided were far more than I expected for the budget we set. I could not have been happier with them. Great florist!

The flowers are absolutely beautiful! However, it was a Sunday morning when they were delivered and the driver literally yelled at me for not showing up at the door. Even though I had requested they leave the flowers outside to ensure a no contact delivery. I spoke very respectfully to him and did not appreciate how mean he was being. I find that exceptionally rude.

Ive been here before and had great service. However today was different. I came in to make a purchase and was treated as an burden. The florist did her best to misunderstand what I wanted and was unwilling to make any accommodations or effort into fulfilling my order. I understand that everyone has the prerogative to run a business how they want to but the florist not to help is a new one. I have been here before and was accommodated getting a small bouquet of forty dollars, but when I needed more, the florist did not understand why anyone would want or need that many flowers. She kept on saying she did not understand why i wanted to spend $400 in flowers but it came across as ´i dont want to help you because it would be too much work’ The clerk working the nursery was miserable too. I tried being friendly and tried bringing some light her face was turned down, even when i let her keep the change from my purchase (i found a flower i needed to have) not even a thank you. To me its a shame because the products are good but the staff today treated me like I peed in their cornflakes. I am a sensitive person who doesn’t deserve this ire from strangers.

Over charged, my first and it ll be last visit to this shop, I bought hanging basket for shaded area and sticker on the basket $16.95 but I was charged $19.95+tax, lady said this basket was $29.99 before, I should have paid attention and check price sticker, if I remember all those pink flower baskets in shaded area has same sticker. Won't go back for sure.

I sent my friend flowers for International Nurses Day. Althought DMP didnt have the flowers for the arrangement I selected, they informed me and then when I agreed they put together a comparable arrangement and delivered it to my friend. I would recommended them to anyone living in the Whitby area.

I had flowers done here in April of 2019 for my mother’s funeral. I know this review is a bit late but I just want to say how amazing they were in helping me with honoring my mother in her funeral flowers. I had been a florist for many years so I know what I wanted. I knew I would not have the time or energy to do them myself so when I went in and talked to the lady behind the counter she made me feel SO reassured (I wish I remembered her name, she was East Indian) that she would take my vision and do her best with it. She completely knocked it out of the park. She was so friendly, kind, understanding and was very gentle with my many requests. I can’t remember her name but Thank You so much for all your beautiful work for my mothers funeral. I would go back here in a heartbeat.

Absolutely disgusted and angry. Total scam. My dad had arranged for the "Lovely Lavender" deluxe bouquet to be delivered to my mom for her birthday. He specifically ordered from DMP because he loved the purple flower arrangement of “Lovely Lavender” and the fact that it came in a purple glass vase. It was perfect for mom, who adores flowers and the colour purple! Well, it was all going well...until the flowers came. After checking in with my mom, I was horrified to see that this wasn't even the Lovely Lavender deluxe bouquet that my dad had ordered. They delivered something entirely different instead. I could not even tell my mom that this wasn't what dad had ordered for her as I didn't want to upset her, especially seeing as it was her birthday. My dad filled out the customer satisfaction survey outlining the issue with the vase not being purple because he spoke to my mom about it (and this was before I informed him that the entire bouquet was different.) This did not set off any alarm bells on DMP's end. There was no response from the owner in regards to this. We now understand why. I'd like to know how DMP even had the audacity to show up on my mom's doorstep and hand her a bouquet that was not the one on the order form. So this is just a buyer's beware that you may not get what you pay for, even if it's a $80 bouquet. My advice is to ALWAYS check with your recipient to make sure that they received the exact bouquet that you paid for. Get them to send you a photo of it if you can. Or ask DMP to send you a photo of the flower arrangement before it is delivered (many florists are happy to do this), then verify it with the recipient! Lesson learned. As for whether we will be returning customers or recommend DMP to others? No, absolutely not.

Ordered an arrangement from here shortly after learning that a family member's pet had passed. The flowers were delivered next day with not extra delivery fee. Ordered the standard Sweet notions. Would highly recommend.

The staff at DMP Flowers and Gifts is great. I went in yesterday and spot ordered flowers as a thank you. They did not think it could get delivered to Oshawa as I was later than 2pm. BUT it did. The person who got the flowers was thrilled. And they looked beautiful, colourful and a perfect compliment to Thanksgiving. Thanks again. You guys never dissappoint

I rarely ever write reviews unless a product / service is either outstanding or brutal, this one is definitely the former. My mom and I have been going here for years and without a doubt every time they are amazing - whether I go into the store or do delivery they're amazing. I even ordered the daily florist's pick when I was away in Europe for Mother's Day and they made me look like the best daughter with how beautiful the bouquet was. Amazing flowers and service.

Been going here for years, ive spend a good amount of money here, but after this experience i had there. Will never go there again, the online description is so vague, and your paying for literally 5 flowers when the picture online shows a whole vase full of them, and to top it off, didnt even come with the vase!! Like why show in the picture if its not going to come with it...not impressed or happy, thanks for ruining my valentines day gift..worst ever!!! I dont even want to give it to my girl, thanks

DMP was recommended to my family by the funeral home that we were using for my dad’s funeral. They did an absolutely phenomenal job on all the arrangements. The casket spray was not only beautiful but it was huge and had a multitude of different flowers. They also really came through on the unique arrangements that my sister and I requested that were in tall glass vases. And finally, they did a great job on the heart shaped arrangement that was from my son. I highly recommend them for any function and will definitely use them again for my floral needs in future. This is the BEST floral shop around so naturally I HAD to have them do the flowers for my wedding. The quality of there flowers in incredible. My wedding was over a week ago and they still look like there brand new. The staff there is beyond amazing, helpful, friendly. I shopped here before my wedding, and they will still be my number one floral shop after.
