I was hesitant about doing flower delivery for my Mother's birthday because in the past I've always been really disappointed with the service and flowers that end up getting delivered. This year I did some research and thought I would give it another shot. I used Westdale Florists because they already had some positive reviews and I really loved the look of their floral arrangements online. So I'm here to add another positive review- the flowers were great, much better than any other florists I've ever used in the past. They were delivered correctly and on time, and the flowers were beautiful. Will definitely use again. Thanks for making my Mom's day special.

I chose westdale florists for my flowers. They arranged everything for me. The flowers were beautiful. Everything was very affordable and they give great advice. The staff are friendly. On the wedding day I had a meltdown from stress and a lady from the store came all the way back and decorated the cages for me extra at no extra cost. I never did apologize to her but they are very accommodating and go above and beyond. I would definitely recommend them :)

Westdale florist went above and beyond for us during a sensitive time (our grandma’s passing). There was a change in the date of the funeral (pushed to an earlier date) and they were flexible enough to accommodate the earlier date change. They also delivered the flowers directly to the funeral home although our original arrangement was to have us pick it up (we were rushing to come into Hamilton from out of town). Communication was timely and friendly. And of course, the flowers were absolutely beautiful, everyone appreciated it I am sure. I would highly recommend!!!

Ordered a bouquet of roses online from out of town and they did everything they could to accommodate my needs and delivery which is tricky at best during these times. Flowers only lasted a few days... some went brown the next day. Bouquet looked cheap. I was very disappointed. I have gotten flowers before many times from other flower shops in Hamilton. There are others (one on the mountain on Upper James), that I have used for years and have NEVER had issues with flowers looking cheap and not lasting. These were sent to me. I wouldn’t ever use this florist if this is the quality of their work.

I walked into the shop wanting to talk to get a feel for the place and talk to someone about potentially getting flowers for my wedding bouquets, and the worker was extremely rude to me. He refused to answer any questions and told me that I should go home and "do my homework" before coming in to see them, and that I would have to pay $100 for a consultation. He didn't even ask me enough questions to know if I'd "done my homework" ... but he definitely lost a customer!

Great experience! I ordered an orchid, balloon and card to be delivered much less than 24 hours in advance, but it was perfect. The orchid was gorgeous and the card was beautiful I'm told. I selected a card to be printed with a personal message and it was very professional and well-made. Some places that's an afterthought and a generic gift tag can be a real downer - not here! **Update** The owner was understanding and very apologetic of my disappointment of the original order and ended up sending my mother-in-law a new arrangement the next day that was much better. ******* We ordered a Florist’s Choice bouquet to be delivered to my mother-in-law for her birthday since we could not celebrate with her in person due to the lockdown. I was not impressed with the arrangement or quality of the flowers. She sent us a photo just 2 days after receiving it and the flowers and they were already wilting and the size of the arrangement for what we paid was not worth it. I will no longer be ordering anymore flowers from here.

I've gone in here several times. I went in there and a lady approached me and I said I was browsing and wanted to pick out a small bouquet. She only asked me my budget and then started grabbing flowers. Didn't ask who it was for, or what it was for. Then quickly she said oh so I'll grab greenery and then we're good to go. And I said no, as the bouquet was pink and the flowers were for a man. She quickly swapped them out, and rang me up. Perhaps I was not stern enough, but I left upset because I personally wanted to pick out the flowers for it. I am not a fan of what she picked out. Perhaps they should ask customers what they would like instead of just trying to get it done as quick as possible.

I basically walked in there today like a “typical guy”, lost, with only an idea of the purpose of my flowers and nothing else. A lovely lady put together a beautiful arrangement in a vase and I was done in less than 15 minutes. The flowers were for a professional reason and I feel that higher level was certainly achieved. Don't buy anything from here. Ordered flowers and box of chocolates for my mother's birthday to be delivered to her work yesterday. Paid dollars for a bouquet that cost 25 bucks at the most in a local supermarket and a box of chocolates that cost 10 bucks at the most. Everything looked and arrived fine but this is not the product that was expected. Shame on you.

Delivered something like a poorly arranged bunch of flowers with very poorly done birthday card ( which of course was extra money!!) Leaves were covered with mud. I ordered here for mothers day. I accidently ordered pickup and when i called them the allowed me to switch it to delivery no problem. The flowers were very beautiful. The reason for the 3 stars is that they didnt give any of those flower food packages which every other flower store i have ever been to gives out. In addition i ordered a $60 arrangement and was kinda ripped off. The vase was supposed to come with rocks and curly willow in the vase as well as the flowers and they did not include those. This is advertised in both the description and the picture. You can see in the pics all the gave was the flowers so thats lame

Easy web navigation. Flowers were delivered quickly. There was an added service charge of 9.95 at the checkout which you could remove by clicking the little info icon, but still a bit sneaky! Love that it's a local business.

Horrible customer service and flowers were delivered a day late. Not worth the $100! Go to Jean’s flower shop or somewhere else. They called me because I had the wrong address (my fault sure, but it was corrected) and the lady I spoke to was nothing short of rude but told me the flowers would still get there that day. Not to mention they wouldn’t call me back after the fact when I was trying to track down my order. I had to go through my bank to cancel the transaction since they wouldn’t return my call. Overall awful experience. Not to mention they have the audacity to ask for extra money during checkout. Definitely deserves to go out of business

Beautiful arrangement with a variety of flowers and greenery in a very unique container what a wonderful gift to have given to me. Arrangement lasted for weeks huge benefit with only needing to remove a couple of flowers with not changing it from being a lovely arrangment.

Westdale Florists' delivery service dropped off a sympathy arrangement to the wrong address. The unintended recipient only delivered the arrangement to the intended two days later by which time some of the flowers were already fading. I emailed WF about the error and after a bit of a delay they replied and followed up with an offer to resend a fresh arrangement. It was an unfortunate mistake, but they made every effort to make up for it.

The order arrived at the prefect time, looking beautiful. I ordered the succulent stone garden, and the substitutions were lovely - I liked it even more than the photo on the site! The delivery was free for the local area, and the pricing very reasonable. The wrapping was cute and the message card nicely but privately displayed. The staff were friendly and professional, helping me when I had to make a last-minute change to delivery instructions and even waiting outside to make sure my friend received her beautiful gift. I fully recommend Westdale Florist to anyone who wants a speedy, thoughtful, and gorgeous gift delivered to someone in the Hamilton area, even on a student's budget.

I too had horrible seeing for Mother’s Day flowers. I was guaranteed to have them by 11 am instead they arrived at 3:30 pm when my mother had left already. Flowers died a few days later. Very disappointed as I was excited to order from here after reading from the good reviews I had read.

On time, flowers arranged as per web picture, and my note was transcribed exactly as entered online. However, I expected the arrangement to be larger for that price. It would be extremely beneficial if you updated your website to show the sizes for each option in relation to some background. I was embarrassed by the size of my selection.

Back in May of 2020, my sister and I ordered flowers from Westdale Florists for our Mom's birthday. When our Mom called to thank us, I could hear in her voice that she was "blown away" by the flowers! An artist from the Shalom Villages saw the arrangement and was so taken with the beauty of the lilies that it inspired her to paint the lily. I recall speaking to a lady by the name of Roseanne, from Westdale Florist's. Well, how do you like that! She was named after a flower! And she was sweet and lovely as can be!!! We ordered Christmas flowers for Mom this year! And I can tell all who read this that they will be very happy with their floral purchase....reasonable prices and wonderful service! It was my first time placing an online flower delivery, and Westdale did not disappoint! I wanted to surprise my friend in Hamilton with some flowers, so I placed an order online around noon and they delivered it same day at about 5pm. Flowers got delivered with no problems, and beautifully packaged. Would highly recommend their services if you're looking for bouquet delivery for someone in the Hamilton area!

Not worth the money. I paid for a "deluxe" size of flowers and i got a tiny little vase with flowers... this was supposed to be for valentines day, what a joke. I could of bought a better amount of flowers and prettier at walmart for a quarter of the price. This was their homepage recommended valentines day flowers, and it was tiny and bland. Never again.

If I could give one star, I would. Attached is what I ordered, vs what was delivered. They left out a whole bunch of flowers and the colour wasn’t nearly as close to as shown in the picture. I contacted Westdale florists about this on SEVERAL occasions and they did not reply back to my emails. Luckily, my friend showed gratitude anyways but if she knew what the flowers actually looked like, she’d laugh. Worst flower shop in all of history.
