A soon as you walk in you are greeted by the fresh scent of flowers and it immediately gives you a sense of calmness. Don't worry all the flowers are in the fridge! A beautiful mix of elegant flowers and stems of plants! They wrap it all up, and have cards, even potted plants for you to buy!

I had ordered Deluxe roses for $120 (18 roses) for Mother's Day, but my mother received the standard for $99 (12 roses). I was charged for the Deluxe order. I emailed to explain the error in my order, and was told by one of the staff that they sent the correct order. I then sent my invoice and a screenshot of the item from their website. I was then told that they would send the remaining 6 roses a week later, and I was still charged the full price for the error. I asked the staff not to do this, and then I got an incredibly rude email saying that they had accommodated my complaints in the past (e.g. sending incorrect flowers) and said that sending the remaining flowers a week later was sufficient. The staff even brought up an issue saying that one of the people that I had sent flowers to them was rude to a delivery driver 2 years ago! I don't know what that comment had to do with my order or even with myself. I will never deal with this shop again because of the unprofessional service and attitude.

Ordered a bouquet of flowers for a total of $85 to be delivered on Mother’s Day. It was delivered on the wrong day, and instead of a bouquet of flowers, a potted plant with no flowers and a bow was delivered. Owner rude and unhelpful. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

I entrusted the staff of the flower shop with creating arrangements for one of the biggest days of my life !! From the pew bows to the bouquets to the centre pieces at the reception. Everything was absolute perfection and they were so accommodating and helpful through the entire process !

Rang up about 3:30pm and asked if it was too late to get flowers for my wife (I'm on the other side of the Atlantic at this point in time!). Gave them a price range and 45m later, the most amazing bouquet of flowers has been made up and delivered. Truly amazing.

I couldn't recommend a flourist less. Completely wrong order and claimed a basic lilly cost 75$ when its AT MOST 30. Their flowers are garbage and the customer service is worse.

I've never written a review before but this time I feel compelled and obligated to share my experience. I ordered two bouquets and six boutonnières for my wedding, and the customer service was good, they were easy to correspond with and returned calls on time. When I picked up the flowers the day before the wedding though, the roses petals were falling off already and the photographer couldn't even get close-ups of the flowers.This is unacceptable especially when I paid over $290 for the items. I feel disappointed with the quality of the flowers and have trouble understanding how this place got ranked second in Halifax by the Coast.

Be careful ordering from thiss shop. Eveyrthing about my order was wrong, including the delivery date. 84$ total for a delviery of a single peace lilly the owner tried to say is valued at 74$. I was expecting a bouquet of flowers as per pictures on the website. Avoid and take your business elsewhere.

Such a cute and cozy little shop! The people there are lovely and they don't just sell plants, they also sell stationary! The most adorable stationary you will ever lay eyes on! The knowledge about different plants is incredible and you can find all sorts of different plants and pots. Love!

I can't say enough about the incredible service at The Flower Shop (shout out to Katie, who helped us in the planning of our floral requirements - you were great!). We used them for the florals at our wedding, and they were nothing short of stunning. The bouquets lasted all day, as did the boutonnieres and corsages. Our guests loved the growler centerpieces - even more when they got to take them home! I would trust The Flower Shop to deliver beautiful, fresh flowers for any occasion. Highly recommended.

My husband bought flowers from this flower shop for our 26th anniversary. I was shocked that the money he spent got only purple daisies a few Gerber daisies and I think mini carnations. The were stuck in a vase as if bought from a grocery store. The daisies were wilted and squished all together, the white flower edges were brown. There was no arrangement to these at all. It was like they were in a hurry and tossed them in the vase. Anniversary means love If you didn’t have roses or other romantic flowers and at least add more than 2 colours at least tell the customer. Very disappointed. When my husband called they offered 10% off. My husband works out of town so I felt bad that he paid for these and they were pathetic. I wish I could post a picture! I arrange artificial flowers and do my own gardening I expected better from a flower shop. They were delivered to my place of work and all my fellow employees were shocked and told me to bring them back to show them.

Ordered a bouquet delivery to surprise my friend for her birthday. I thought the bouquet would be more modern (like the photos on their website and Instagram), but instead she received bright yellow roses and carnations. Definitely recommend giving instructions on flower choice if you don’t want to end up with your Nans bouquet. The delivery was on time and communication was fast and easy, however!

Was very disappointed. What I received looked nothing like the picture of what I ordered. There was hardly any pink flowers. Which the bouquet was supposed to include pink roses. When I called to complain they said that they had run out of pink roses and had to substitute. I ordered days in advance to prevent that from happening. Buyer beware, false advertising at its best. What you order may not be what you receive

Excellent Service and Lovely Flowers. I have had a very positive experience and as I live a long distance away, it's so nice to have a flower shop you can trust. It is important when ordering flowers to read the information that says substitutions may be used. It is just something that happens occassionally with any florist. If you are concerned about specific flowers, pick up the phone and call to order.

As the owner and operator of The Flower Shop I have always strived to guarantee any product that goes out of my shop. I have done this for 20 years. Concerning the review from the "deluxe" rose order - she was refunded for the 6 missing roses from her order. This was refunded to her Visa card as she was told. She was offered additional product to go to the recipient but refused that. It is always nice to hear the rest of the actual story.

I ordered what I thought would be a nice big bouquet of roses from here for my mom for mothers day. They sent 12 and charged me for what I actually ordered. They were also delivered a day early. When I asked for a refund they said my mom could bring back the roses in exchange for something else. I didn't really think that was fair since its their mix up. Wouldn't recommend ordering from here and if you do DONT do it online. Ask a lot of questions and make sure you know exactly what you're ordering. The website isn't accurate or the owners are just pure scammers. The prices are also a bit outrageous for the product they offer (sub par at best). If you have time to shop around for a florist, don't go here.

Ordered some flowers for valentines through the website as I am outside of the city. The flowers were few, of poor quality and not the same type as in the pictures. Would not recommend, especially for the price I paid (~$90). Look elsewhere.

Concerning the 5 star review that the owner of the company gave herself with an “explanation” of what happened with the mix up on Mother’s Day, instead of responding as the owner to a review: The picture on the website under “florist’s choice” shows flowers, not a potted plant, with the clear indication that the choice that the florist would be making would be an assortment of flowers. I believe the picture posted of what was actually received speaks for itself. The total order was $85 after taxes and delivery. The order was a day early, not on the day it was ordered for (Mother’s Day). We live out of town and were disappointed with the experience and what was delivered. The only solution given was “have your mother bring the plant back and we will give her something else” - this was a Mother’s Day gift, and we were not going to have our mother be inconvenienced. We absolutely did not want both the plant and the flowers, a partial refund for the overpriced potted Peace Lily would have been acceptable, but the owner was unwilling to listen. Our mother also had to replant the Peace Lily already, as the roots of the plant were so cramped that they were growing out of the soil (basket clearly too small), and were beginning to rot in some spots. I think the owner should review her website ordering process, as it seems that there may be an issue with discrepancies.

There is a disconnect between the shops site and the shop. Be careful if you're ordering from out of town as my family did. What is pictured on the site may not be what you get and I'd heavily suggest calling and confirming/ getting an e-mail or something about the product from staff. The owner Emma I've noticed also replies to bad reviews with 5 star ones so beware not even the rating of the shop is accurate. Wouldn't recommend if you're not in town.
