I called last minute for Valentine's day flowers and the sales associate was very helpful. She recommended wasabi roses and they were beautiful. The price for a half dozen roses was vey reasonable too. The roses were exactly as she described them, and my wife loved them. The workers at Props Floral Design also did an amazing job with the flower arrangement. They use thick brown paper wrapping to wrap the flowers, which is so rustic and elegant. It's hands down the best flower store I've ever been to in my life. My wife said they're the nicest flowers I've ever bought for her. Thank you everyone at Props Floral Design. Great experience! First time I have ever order from this florist and they did an excellent job. They sent me a photo of my finished arrangement before delivering (which I have never experienced) and is a wonderful thing to do as it takes the guess work out of wondering what the recipient will actually receive. Everybody who woks there is super nice and made me feel welcome even though I was there not long before their closing time (4 pm). The entire sore smelled so nice and it was so nice to be there! Can't say enough positive things about Props. I found out a good friend had to have emergency surgery, and wanted to send flowers to the QE2. I didn't know what room, but Props assured me they would call patient services and make sure the flowers were allowed and where to be delivered. I then found out my friend was being moved to the VG. I called Props right away, and they said no problem. They'd figure it out...and they did! My friend's husband called to thank me for the flowers, and commented that my friend loved them. What awesome customer service! Anytime I need floral delivery in Halifax, I know who I'm calling! They even sent me a pic of the arrangement before they delivered it! Gorgeous!

Props floral design team deserves more than a 5 star rating. customer service & floral inventory during the winter months in 2020 is beyond compare. Ordering flowers from Montreal on an urgent whim leading up to dec 24/25 (during covid). I choose Props floral because this team had a unique website and didn't have warehouse vibes after leaving a message via phone, Sopia called back. Even with lots of orders to create and deliver i appreciated the time she took to answer my question regarding lux it up, flower inquiries and if the team could deliver to an area not listing on their delivery scope ( just a smidge outside) . Sopia also provided hints on how short list flower types on the instructions portion of the order form ( example chrysanthemum = mums) the flowers delivered were so beautiful and fresh! you can tell it was made with lots of thought and warmth. i think what's unique about Props Floral is that each bouquet made has it's own unique composition. Happy i choose Props floral!

Always the prettiest flowers and decor at Props. Needed a couple of white roses to top a wedding cake, and they are almost impossible to find. Props had a few in the shop, some were destined for a wedding arrangment later that day. The staff weren't sure if all were needed, offered to check with the designer who was out of the shop at the time, and Call if they could spare a couple. We figured out some substitutes if roses were not available. Within 10 minutes I had a call, and my flowers were ready for pick up. This is typical of the service at Props, and it's why we often pop in for flowers for ourselves and friends. They did my daughter's wedding flowers, and they were spectacular. Thanks Props!

Really sad about the med handtied bouquet I got today for my birthday. It ruined my day. I had to return it right away to get them to swap out the flowers for the ones I thought I was going to get. They barely helped at all, only adding about 3 small flowers that weren't near what I wanted and still charged me again (way over the price they have on their website to lux it up). It was the complete opposite of what I thought I was getting. They should really update their photos more on their website and add a photo for each "feel" they have you pick to describe your bouquet. It was the total opposite of what I chose. It looked like it was for my grandma from sobeys. I would suggest going straight to their supplier. It was a waste of money.

Great and trusted florists. They're always ready to create a custom arrangement at the drop of a hat. They keep a good and varied stock of locals and exotics. However, the real review comes when the recipient's eyes pop open a little bit and they can not hide the little "wow" it brings to them. That's Props. They do not disappoint. Though I was sad when they moved out of the downtown.

Amazing local flower shop! They take such good care of their customers, and I will tell you my story. I live in Ontario and had ordered a flower arrangement for delivery in Halifax. The flowers were a surprise for one of my girlfriends with a note where I asked her to be my bridesmaid. Since it was a surprise I didn't let her know they were coming, and it just happened that she wasn't going to be home until the weekend. The staff found that out and made sure to let me know, and deliver the flowers once she returned. I LOVE that personal touch. And the arrangement was stunning!! Thanks guys! ❤❤

Had a great wedding consultation with Ashley in late August this year. I felt really good about what we discussed and hopeful that they would send along an agreeable quote. Two weeks after the consult I was asked to provide photo inspiration via email so Ashley could send me the proposal/quote right away. I promptly did so and was eager to hear back. Another two weeks pass and radio silence. By that time I had met with two other florists, gotten two quotes and decided to go with one of them. Out of courtesy I let Props know that I had chosen a different florist. I understand the pressure the wedding industry is under this year but so am I as a bride planning a 2021 wedding on her own. I missed out on a lot of my top vendors because the pandemic has pushed this year’s weddings to next year. Being proactive was the only choice I had. I chose vendors who I knew were prompt and responsive. For these reasons I don’t strongly recommend Props. It’s a shame because I really enjoyed my consultation experience. But I understand the difficulties in being an organized small business during a pandemic.
