This happened over Christmas. I was on vacation from a deployment in Europe, and when I returned my rental vehicle next door I didn't realize the rental place was closed that day. This normally wouldn't have been a big deal, except my phone was disconnected because I was flying back to Europe that day and was trying to find a way to get to the airport. I had all my luggage with me and I had to drag it all into pilchers and ask to use Thier phone. They were so nice here and they let me wait until my cab came. I probably seemed a little stand of fish as I was having a really bad day, but these guys helped make it a lot better. Thanks again!!

I had an important arrangement to send, and being from Saskatchewan, I was lost as to which florist to use in Halifax. Pilchers couldn't have been a better choice...Charles had it made custom for me, was overly accommodating and kind (I adore his voice lol) even through this busy season. Couldn't ask for better customer service, and the arrangement turned out perfectly. I would definitely use this business again if I had the chance.

I'm sure I was A nuisance the amount of times I sent messages back-and-forth to get arrangements from Pilcher's. I was treated with kindness and the end results were beautiful. I recommended them to other family members who when they found out how terrific this family was to work with, were only to happy to use them as welland they had the same results. Beautiful people – beautiful product that will definitely use them again

I bought a jade plant from there about a month ago, and it is now mostly rotted away because the salesperson sold it to me in a pot that did not have holes, and so I assumed that was a good pot to keep it in. Today I asked online for advice about succulents because my plant was not thriving, and found out that they need to be in a pot with holes, or they will rot. Fortunately I can replant, but I'm upset that the salesperson didn't tell me about this. I told her that I hadn't had jade plants before, and asked about watering and such. That would have been a great time to mention that I would need a new pot or my plant would simply rot away.

I wanted a white arrangement for a celebration of life ceremony for my beloved brother. Mr. Pilcher and the staff present gave us their precious aid and professional help. The arrangements were magnificent and beautiful. They went way over our expectations and I have never seen anything so elegant. I live in another province, but if I lived near that nice flower shop I would be a regular customer. Mr. Pilcher, thank you for everything, I will always remember.

One of the last neon signs in Halifax! Always quality service and product. Pilcher's has saved my life on a few occasions. There is good variety in the selection: the florists seem to have a good knowledge of floral trends (if you will) and yet keep a few lovely oddities around for the perfect final touch to suit the occasion. The staff seem happy (honestly this is a bit odd, for a family business!) and are very professional. I don't think I have ever seen Charles without a smile on his face. I do love going to shops where people love what they are doing.

For the last 50 yrs. I have been amazed of the beautiful arrangements and sometimes over the top. The service (A) Charles and Pauline all ways go out of there way to ensure customer satisfaction. Love these guys there #1 on my list.

I first ordered flowers from pilchers in 1969 for my wedding and we were thrilled with them and they have been our go to store for flowers. I now live out of the country but have flowers sent every two weeks to my sister in a nursing home. She is always thrilled with them! Thanks for always putting being there to put a smile on her face.
