I am a first time flower buyer. I was treated with Zero patience and pretty rushed to make a purchase. I was asking about a vase I could use and I was ignored , shoved the flowers and the door closed. On the phone the customer service was terrible. I walked away saying I would never shop there again.

A wonderful florist! For my COVID-19 wedding last week, Sweet Violets created the bride's bouquet and arrangements for the table. I was delighted with the results, especially the peachy colour. I was anxious to have my wedding be beautiful, even if it was very small and had to come together quickly, and Sweet Violets helped me do that. Kelli also helped me out with a last-minute request for extra blooms for the photographer's detail shots and for our cake, as well flowers for my hair, all of which were beautiful, well-packaged and easy to use. Beautiful blooms all the time. These guys made my wife’s floral arrangement for our small wedding, it was everything she wanted. The only area for improvement I would say is holidays. I have ordered for Valentine’s or Mother’s Day often and I can almost guarantee my order will get lost, it’s happened a few times. Off peak season they are bang on all the time.

For my mother-in-law's funeral I ordered the arrangements on behalf of the children and grandchildren. They were absolutely stunning. My picture of the grandchild one doesn't quite do it justice, but the arrangement is gorgeous, and has six large yellow orchids representing each of the six grandchildren. We are very happy with the service we received from Sweet Violets.

I bought some houseplants from here. They are very beautiful but they have some issues. I have having to rehabilitate them. For the expensive price I paid I wasn't expecting to have to rehabilitate them from the condition I bought them in. Most of the staff is nice but a few of them have been rude and inattentive.

Since my first experience a number of years ago - I've never gone anywhere else.. Why? Simple, they've always exceeded my expectations. It's all in the details - from the paper wrapped/twine tied arrangements... to the quality of the flowers that seem to last for weeks. The team at Sweet Violets has always provided friendly & exceptional service - and when you're a colourblind guy like myself - it's appreciated lol... PS. Check out the rose pedal hookup they put together in a major pinch for my wedding - added a memorable smile to my wife's face - and that certain je ne sais quoi to end the evening.

I am not from Guelph so I googled a place to use. Told them that my budget was $100 and they put together a bouquet with 6 flowers and 80% greenery. Absolute joke. Do not use this place if your life depends on it. What a complete and total rip off. Never been so disappointed in my life with an arrangement I was sending for someone. Shame on them!

The owner tried to change the price on some flowers that I wanted to purchase. I decided to purchase the flowers because she said to the personnel helping me that teach stem was a dollar. I decided to purchase eight of them and when I got to the till, I asked to confirm that they were a dollar each. The personnel confirmed with the owner and the owner said that they were supposed to be two dollars each but had to be sold for a dollar since the personnel had already shortened the stems and removed some of the leaves. This was poor customer service. I also felt bad for the employee helping me because her boss was either indecisive or absent-minded about prices. I still purchased the flowers because they were beautiful but they only lasted about three days despite proper care.

Sweet Violets is one of the most special shops that I know. I have gone to them for many important occasions and they have always pulled through! I don’t live in the city so often I call them to have arrangements delivered and I never have to doubt the striking quality of the arrangement being delivered. If there was one reason to move to Guelph Sweet Violets would definitely be one.

Been a customer for years. Was always pleased with the results and kept coming back. Recently, I ordered 2 bouquets that were rather expensive and was expecting their usual quality. However, not only was it overpriced beyond belief, the bouquet fell apart as soon as I gifted it. It looked incredibly cheap and ugly and I was very disappointed.
