While the customer service here is always above parr, again and again (and again) the flowers are disappointing. The arrangement that was purchased today that was delivered as a gift was cheap looking, dried-out flowers, and was an overall poor design for an arrangement - unfortunately, this is consistently the case. If it were not for their good customer service and prices, I would have ceased to continue with them, but with yet another disappointing arrangement that good money is spent on, I will not be returning.

My local florist referred me directly to Patti's so that I could save a service charge. Bless her heart. And when I reached Patti's by phone, the person was most helpful. I needed a bouquet for my best friend whose dog had just died. I needed a non-fragrant bouquet in white flowers because her husband is very sensitive to scents. From all reports, my friend and her hubby were absolutely delighted with their surprise bouquet and the handwritten note attached to the flowers: "Remembering Molly; thinking of you." Apparently, if my friends had not been home to receive their gift, Patti's would have left a tag on their door and taken the bouquet to a neighbor's. I've never before encountered such fine customer service from a florist in another city. Thank you Patti's for sending my love and support so sweetly.

Wonderfully organized and easy-to-navigate website with TONS of selection and reasonable prices. We had ordered an arrangement for our sister and brother-in-law who recently said good-bye to their beloved doggy. Patti’s called to confirm a few things and the lady I spoke to was so friendly and helpful. I ordered the flowers in the morning and they were delivered mid-afternoon. Our recipients said the arrangement was beautiful. Would absolutely recommend Patti’s and will order from them in the future.

Read the reviews prior to visiting this store and decided to give them a chance anyway based on location. All the mentions of a dirty store are completely ridiculous, the store looks like any other flower shop I've visited; full of flowers and gifts. They could use a slightly larger space but providing a wide selection in a smallish space is better than an empty store. The woman working was very friendly and helped me immediately upon my entering the store. Overall a very pleasant experience; thank you so much.

Yesterday I placed a short-notice online order, and my daughter received her phone call to confirm she’d be home, and then the delivery of her flowers, all within 2-3 hours of my order! Ordered a Mother's Day arrangement and received 70% of what it should have been. Took more than a week to hear back via email and when I did they argued with me on what was included. I suggest using Blooms and Flora or Forever Wildfield should you be shopping for a regular florist. If I could give 0 stars - I would.

I feel i was ripped off. I ordered a terarium while on the phone and looking at pictures on their website while quoting item numbers to them. I was trying to build something that would look nice when the lady on the other end cut me off and said. Tell me how much you want to spend. Its easier that way then I can just build it. So I said $45-50. Boom $50 it was. Ok. I can accept that. It is a business after all. So then my bill comes out to $68. Lol. Ok. Thought i wanted to spend $50?? The end money is beside the point. I dont mind spending that, if thats what I am receiving in actual value. NOT IN THIS CASE! After it was delivered I asked my wife to send me a pic so I could see what my money got me (after all she built it on her own - & I had no idea what it would look like) The pic showed the correct terraium , with a fairy as asked. But had one tiny aloe looking plant, a piece of moss and some stones. It barley filled 1/3 of the bowl. I sent an email to complain. I was told I got a deal as it was valued at $55 and was charged $50. I then started looking on their website. And was even more upset. The terrarium bowl (remember item # was quoted) shows $12. She charged me $25. When confronted about this she said the one online is smaller than what i received. Not the case. I have pictures with a ruler to prove it. Then i noticed that they had pre built terarriums all set to go online. They had two levels of cost, both in the same bowl as I ordered! One with less greenery (air plants) one with more. The less filled bowl was at least half to, over half filled with plants, the more expensive was easily over 3/4 full of plants. Both looked great and both came with moss and stones (as did mine, but i was charged extra). I had the fairy added to mine, but that was only a $6 charge. So i could have ordered the extra full terrarium (same bowl, waaaaay more plants) added the fairy and I still would have been under what they charged me. Beware! They wont go out of their way to help someone design something for the most cost effective means. They will just ask. What do you want to spend. Throw something together and double charge you for some items. I sent all my pictures as well as screen shots of their website proving my points. Of course I didn't hear anything back. So that is why I am now posting here. I always give people a chance to make it right. It was my first time using Patti's flowers and my last.

NOTICE: If you set a delivery time for after 5pm, you may get a delivery notification email saying the flowers were delivered but actually aren't. The reason is that the store closes at 6pm so they just send out the email as a formality while the flowers are still out for delivery. Be patient, they will arrive. Owner is positive and quick to respond via Facebook after hours. Ultimately made me happy, more importantly made my Birthday Wife happy.

Paid $100 for flowers and when I received them it was really kind of disappointing figured the flowers would have been more full and colourful. Giving three stars because they were somewhat okay just think for the money it should have that wow factor. Better off to buy the flowers from longos where they are only 25$ for something similar.

Placed an order for a peony arrangement, which shows it has 3 peonies. We got a call on the same day as they were suppose to be delivered, just to be told peonies were now 20$ a stem and that she’d only be putting two in the arrangement. We specifically ordered this arrangement because of the peonies. With the arrangement already costing over 100$, I think it’s bad business that you wouldn’t just take the loss of adding the extra flower instead of shorting out the customer or expecting us to pay the difference. We cancelled the order and I just got told “K” and hung up on. No room for a compromise or apology of inconvenience.

I currently live in Victoria BC, and was needing to send flowers to friends of mine who were having their engagement party in Guelph, ON. I Googled 'florists in Guelph' and Patti's Flower Boutique came up with a few other listings. I had no recommendations or referrals to go on, but I liked the website as if felt somewhat more personal than the other listings. From the moment I called, I knew I had made the right decision. The sales associate on the phone had the kindest demeanor. I wanted specific flowers, so she had to look into the availability. She emailed back me within 5 minutes...I phoned and processed the order and from start to finish, I was so impressed with her level of service. Written in her email closing and when we ended the phone order she said "we will take great care of this for you" and from the service I received, I have no doubt that is what will happen. Great experience.

Great experience & excellent customer service. Within 20min of placing my request through their email, I was contacted by an employee to go over the finer details of my order and received a confirmation email. Within 1hr I was at the shop picking up my flower arrangement and balloons. The staff was very friendly; when one of the balloons had popped just as I was exiting the shop, without hesitation, she offered me a replacement and to help me load my order into my vehicle. I will definitely be ordering again!

I’ve bought flowers from Patti’s flowers twice now. Once for a funeral and just last week for a home delivery for my cousin. Both bouquets were wonderfully made, packaged expertly for travel and presented in beautiful vases. Ordered the pink and white polka dot bouquet that Patti has! It was amazing! there’s a pretty pink vase and ribbon and the flowers were super fresh! I had a question that I emailed after hours and within minutes My query was returned! I would highly recommend Patti’s flowers! Great flowers, great service, personal touch. It’s perfect!

Very friendly. Awesome selection. Went in and asked for one type of flower, left with an amazing bouquet that went very well together based on the primary flower and colours I chose. I asked for the bouquet to be made cheaper than suggested, and the staff worked with me to get it done (never felt cheap and the end result didn't look cheap). The time it took to put the bouquet together flew by since I was mesmerized by the beautiful birds. Will be going here for all future flowers.

TERRIBLE QUALITY for the price I payed. I spent $89.26 arrangement (plus tax & delivery). I understand that some small changes apply, but the flowers were already aged, the bamboo was totally missing. It was a very, very poor product. Please see the add picture and the product delivered (2nd picture). I will never order from this place, nor recommend to anyone. Note: a star for the delivery on the day was suppose to.

Huge disappointment. My mother spoke to a lovely woman on the phone about arranging 3 funeral bouquets for my grandmother. Upon arriving the next day to the funeral home, two bouquets had multiple wilted flowers/roses, and all attendees noticed. We were very upset to spend the kind of money we did (over $600) to receive the quality of flowers that we did. One bouquet also came with no water, and the Minister himself filled it for us! Patti was extremely rude to us after we called to explain our problem with the flowers. As many reviewers stated here, she got immediately defensive, blamed everyone but herself, and told us we were wrong and nothing was wrong with the perfect flowers. We have photo evidence which she dismissed as "they grow that way". This is a disgusting way to profit off of people in mourning while providing awful service. Never again.

Received a fruit gift basket for Christmas . It consisted of bruised apples, bruised bananas broken candy canes and some over ripe clementines. Very unimpressed, poor quality and lacked freshness. Contacted the owner and she blamed the driver. She did nothing to rectify the situation.

Was very excited to surpise my mother with flowers at her place of work on Valentine's Day, although the surpise did work I wasn't overly happy to see the flowers she came home with. The one rose looked a little droopy right from the start, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and waited. After only TWO DAYS of having the flowers home one has already wilted and needs to be thrown out. For what I paid for only THREE roses I am not pleased at all, flowers from the grocery store last much longer than that. Was really hoping to give my mother the best Valentine's Day but sadly that was not the case.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this florist. Had I read the reviews ahead of time I never would have used their services. Two days ago I ordered long stemmed roses for my mother in laws 70th birthday. I paid extra money because I wanted the arrangement to look beautiful. I asked for greenery and babies breath and I was assured that a beautiful arrangement would be sent [otherwise I never would have paid the price they charged me]. The arrangement that was sent to my mother in law consisted of only 12 roses with none of the additions that I had asked for. When I called to discuss the issue with Patti's the solution I was offered was that they would deliver the additions separately today [two days after the intial roses were delivered]. I can't possibly see how that is an adequate solution. I was then offered a refund for the extra money that I paid [we'll see if I even get that]. Patti's was completely clueless to the fact that my mother in law did not get what I paid for. When I again stated that I did not get what I ordered I was called a "bully" and told never to go to their store again. Really? Is that what classifies as customer service these days? I'm sure that Patti's will have a defensive, as opposed to apologetic, response because that's what I have seen under the multitude of negative comments on this site. Seriously, you are better to get your flowers at Zehrs. You will pay less and you will get more.

GREAT SERVICE AND WONDERFUL ARRANGEMENT OF BALLOONS FOR MY THIRTY YEAR OLD SON'S BIRTHDAY. Patti's went above and beyond to ensure that he answered his door (night shift sleeper) and delivered at specified time, not too early and not too late. I told Patti's to knock loud and hard. HE WAS THRILLED. I live a distance away so arrangements had to be specific and Patti's carried them out meticulously and all contact was friendly and professional. I must say this place offered the worst customer service i have ever seen in a flower shop. When i went in to order my flowers for my wife they were rushy and impatient and well rude. On the day the flowers were supposed to be delivered i called to make sure it was ready and the lady on the other end was absolutely rude. They advised me that i would get a confirmation email when the flowers arrived 1 to 2 hours after they were delivered and i got the confirmation 7 hours later. I would not ever use this company again. Horrible customer service and rude employee's!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!

My daughter ordered a spring planter for me which was pictured in a lovely wooden box. It arrived in a dollar store basket. She was not advised of the substitution and was not offered a refund for the considerable price difference in containers. The woman on the phone was very rude to her. Ordered flowers after delivery cut off time, and really hoped they could be delivered same evening. Friendly service, and staff quickly had designer make up order and request driver to make a trip back to shop to get the flowers and deliver them. All accomplished within one hour. For a really important order for me, they really went above and beyond to work it out. Also, followed up to phone and tell me the order was on its’ way. SAVE YOUR MONEY. TERRIBLE QUALITY & SERVICE. We purchased a $75 arrangement (plus tax & delivery) totalling $96.00. I have never seen such a poor display. Looks like they were arranged by an amateur using the cheapest flowers available. Delivery was requested for the morning, but by noon they had still not arrived. After 2 more calls I was advised they would be delivered by 5pm. So much for a birthday surprise! The customer service was appalling. Every excuse from covid to Delivery issues it's been 3 days and the flowers are all dead except for a couple of daisy's. I've seen superior flowers at Metro. Save your money and choose your flowers from anywhere but here. I am so embarrassed that these were a gift from me.

We were very disappointed with the flowers we received for my uncle's funeral. They arrived at the funeral home on Friday afternoon and were drooping and mushy by Saturday morning. It was clear that they were not fresh. When we spoke to the florist, she would not take responsibility for the poor quality of the flowers. Will not be purchasing flowers here again.

I've done multiple next day delivery orders and have been extremely satisfied with the service provided! Prices are fair. Actual arrangements are comparable to online pictures. Very easy and reliable! I would definitely recommend this boutique.

I bought flowers for my mom for Mother’s Day and I am extremely disappointed. I paid over $100 for the premium upgraded flowers and balloons and once they were delivered I received the ugliest flowers I have ever seen. The dimensions they gave for the premium size were not the size I received. The balloons were so deflated that they immediately fell to the ground. I would not recommend wasting your money at this place, unless you’re okay with receiving ugly flowers. I have no words right now. To make matters worse, I called to ask if these were the right flowers and the mailbox is full.

This is what a $50 arrangement looks like (plus delivery, plus tax). When I contacted the owner and expressed my disappointment, I was told that sunflowers are $7 a piece, etc. and when labour is added, I got an arrangement at my price point. I was also told that the arrangements on their website have all been photoshopped and that what you get, never looks like the picture. On the plus side, ordering was very easy, delivery was as requested and the card was accurate. The flowers were appreciated which is, of course, the goal. A few weeks later I used another florist and requested a $40 arrangement. It contained at least 6 roses as well as other flowers and was twice as large. I will use that florist from now on.

I recently send my niece in Guelph a Thanksgiving arrangement for her table, as she was hosting our family dinner. I ordered from Patti's and they were so accommodating, listening to what I wanted and when they were delivered the arrangement surpassed my expectations. Such a disappointing experience overall. I had ordered the "Deluxe Tulips & Pine" bouquet from Patti's website which had the following description "Give a gift of simple winter beauty. Send a bouquet of twenty white tulips that are as pure as fresh-fallen snow". I also ordered a small box of chocolates. However, what was received was 12 (not 20) RED tulips, (not white) with two sparse twigs of pine and the most pathetic bow, and NO chocolates. I was actually embarrassed. After speaking with the owner Patti, she never did apologize but instead got very defensive. In a very condescending tone, she did offer to send out 3 more tulips and some extra twigs of pine that that my friend could re-arrange in the vase herself, along with the box of chocolates. After I explained that the moment of surprise when receiving flowers is now over, she offered 5 tulips and a box of medium chocolates. I declined the offer because as I said, the moment had passed. No discount was offered, no apology. She did state that due to Covid they do have a substitute policy, which is totally understandable. However, the policy states "Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and COLOR scheme of the arrangement". Not sure how replacing white flowers with red adheres to this policy. In the end, she did refund my $10 of my $85 order for the missing chocolates. I can't believe I wasted my hard-earned money on what I could have went to my local grocery store and bought for $15.

Wedding bouquet was gorgeous. Church flowers were very disappointing - did not even match our wedding colours. I was told afterwards that certain flowers were not used in the church arrangements due to increased costs (again the colours weren't even close to our wedding colours). Centre piece flowers were cute, but very small. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

I searched the Web for a Florist in Guelph as we were going to our son's home for Thanksgiving - on Patti's Web Site I saw exactly the arrangement that I wanted to send to my daughter in law - she is a wonderful cook/chef and the reusable antique ceramic measuring cup was just a natural for Claire - and she was thrill when the arrangement arrived - and was exactly as the picture showed! Claire said it was perfect! In fact it the flowers where our centerpiece for Thanksgiving family gathering and Claire used the Ceramic measuring cup as the Gravy Boat - Can't thank you enough! will recommend you and for sure use your services again. I ordered flowers this morning by phone from Patti's after an internet search looking for the top-rated florist in Guelph as I do not live in the city. Patti's came up and I clicked onto the website. The website is very user friendly and had several photos of arrangements to choose from. I made my selection and called the store. The service on the phone was excellent. My order was processed and a confirmation email sent to me to confirm my order with the details as well as an email confirming that the arrangement was delivered. My friend texted me as soon as she received them and was thrilled with the arrangement. She said it " brightened her day" which was exactly what I was hoping to do! It was beautiful and looked even better than the picture on the website. I would highly recommend this top-rated florist shop.

New to the area. Just walked past with my dog and wife, while on the way to the dollar store. Owner's dog was yapping and barking crazily behind the glass door, of course my dog is curious and goes up to sniff the door (it is closed). My dog is not barking, just sniffing. The owner starts raging and yelling from behind the closed door to get back and go away. I remember reading reviews when looking for mother's day flowers saying how terrible this owner's manners are. This just solidified it. I will NEVER buy flowers from this place. Just lost a potential customer .

I live in Victoria, BC and don't know too much about Guelph except that my wife is from there an a former "Gryphon" (but I have visited). A few months back I wanted to send my mother-in law some flowers for her 95th birthday. I went to the net and sent some flowers from another florist...I had suggested some of her favorites and expected the best. We called birthday day only to find that the delivered flowers were very disappointing. Recently my mother-in-law suffered a stroke and my wife returned home for an extended visit. This time around, I decided to send some flowers to my wife to cheer her up as she's going through a lot. This time, I choose Patti's. All I ordered was "a nice bunch of Spring flowers." I received an email confirmation (highlighting message and billing verification) and an email confirmation that the flowers had been delivered. My wife called me to say the flowers had arrived and "they are spectacular!" She loved them, big time. Time passed and my mother-in law passed away recently. I called Patti's again and ordered flowers for the church service..."just a nice bunch of Spring flowers." Once again the two email follow-up verification. My wife called me after the service and told me that the flowers were wonderful (actually "way nicer than some of the other displays"). Thanks Patti's. We received the freshest pink and white bouquet to Guelph General Hospital. Our flowers lasted almost 3 weeks. All my visitors were astounded by the bouquet - it was honestly a work of art and made my dreary hospital room so warm and inviting. I honestly had never heard of Patti's prior to receiving this bouquet. I will now be recommending this shop to everyone. Yes you may pay more than other shops, but you get more. If you want to buy flowers where you buy your groceries, you can't expect them to last more than a few days.

The day of my prom for some reason I didn't love the corsage I had ordered, Patti rearranged it and added some flowers to make it how I wanted. A friend had a sudden death in the family. After a quick search online, I drove to Patti's first thing in the morning because I wanted to hand deliver the bouquet myself. Wow. The 3 staff members on site were so friendly and accommodating. As I walked around the store, the phone was ringing off the hook with phone orders. I'm not an expert on flowers, but I have bought and ordered for delivery a few bouquets in my lifetime. Patti's is now my go to.

There should be an option for 0 stars. Run away, run far far away from this shop. The owner, Patti, is the rudest, most condescending, most hateful woman I have ever come across. She not only is awful and rude to her staff members, but she is also rude and condescending to her CUSTOMERS. Her LIVELIHOOD. She has her nose stuck so far up the in air and needs to come back down to earth for a reality check. She speaks to everybody in such a way that implies we are all stupid morons. She rips off her customers and then has the nerve to treat them like idiots. She has a very bad reputation around town. After treating me the way she did, I was happy to turn around, leave, and give my money to a more deserving florist in Guelph. I have exchanged many horror stories between my friends about the terrible experiences we've all had with Patti. There is another girl at Patti's with a lovely spirit and super nice to deal with, an if you're lucky maybe you can avoid the old witch and have another employee help you. Patti never seems to be able to keep staff for very long, it is a revolving door and it is no wonder. I have never been so unimpressed with a business that I felt the need to write a review an warn others but this time is different. After being treated horribly by this lady on more than one occasion I have to speak out and highly urge anybody thinking of using this florist in the future to use any of the other wonderful florists in town (Robinsons, Blooms & Flora, Montes)

I never write reviews but felt compelled to share this. On at least 4 occasions I have either visited the store or called in to request a bouquet of flowers. The bouquets that I order do not tend to be very expensive, for instance, my kids wanted to give their teachers flowers at the end of the school year, so they picked out small bouquets. On every occasion, the staff instantly sound disappointed and disinterested when I state the price that I am going for (usually around $20-30). I have been to other flower shops where they are able to make beautiful small arrangements for that price. But at this store, and like I said, on numerous occasions and with different staff, this price point seemed almost like it wasn't worth their while. I buy flowers often for lots of occasions, so I will be moving my "small" purchases to another florist where I won't be treated like it's a waste of their time.

Online shows that they have instore access. When I opened the door I was yelled at by the lady at the counter. I was provided with a card and told to phone to place my order. I waited outside and phoned. I could hear the phone ringing and they ignored my call. Absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated and I would never recommend this place.

My first experience with Patti's was good. I am from out of town and sent flowers to a friend in the hospital and they were very nice. Unfortunatley, she passed and it was a total different experience with the floral arrangement sent to the funeral home. I emailed Patti twice, sending pictures of the sent arrangement in comparison to the one pictured on their site. My arrangement was missing the pink ribbon, snapdragons were wilted ( first day ) and falling out (this was on the second day-so not a result of mishandling) the backdrop of ferns was nonexistant and my arrangement seemed to be full of daisies with just five carnations. As well, when the site requested what type of card be sent, and I checked sympathy, I was surprised to see a piece of folded paper with my message on it in bold faced type. As well, I had requested and paid for the deluxe arrangement which I would think would mean a fuller arrangement than the one shown. I paid over $100 for this arrangement and it looked like a $30-$40 dollar basket. It is difficult enough to attend the funeral of a lifetime friend, let alone be upset about the flower arrangement. I do not want my money back , but had no reply from the florist despite emailing them twice.

When I sent in a complaint the owner said she would re-send it and I declined with the understanding that I would get a credit for the mix up. I found out that the credit is for $10. A couple of days ago I was looking to get my girlfriend some flowers for her birthday. I went to a couple of places that I lived close to, and their selection was horrible. I was honestly starting to get nervous. I then went onto Google to see who else there was in town, hoping to find somewhere better than the other places I went to. The first place to come up was Patti's Flower Boutique, so I thought I'd check out their website. I went onto the website, and was shocked to see how much of a selection they had. I must've spent an hour on that website looking at all the different arrangements that they offer. After looking for a while, I found exactly what I was looking for, and it was at a great price too. I was really happy with what I found. Instead of ordering online, I decided to go to the shop. Once I got there, I was greeted by an employee as soon as I walked through the door. She was so polite, and helpful, that it kinda threw me for a loop. I don't think I've ever met someone so happy at their place of employment. I also got to meet the owner who was also fantastic. Honestly, they were two of the nicest people I've met in a while. My experience there was top notch. For anyone who is reading this, I think you're crazy if you go anywhere else other than Patti's Flower Boutique. Trust me when I tell you that you wont find a better selection of flowers, and nicer people than this place. When it comes to myself, they really do have a customer for life. I wont go anywhere else.:)

At Christmas, we sent a gift basket that was full of goodies, beautifully packed and very much enjoyed, and the Easter arrangement that was sent this past weekend was superb. My mother-in-law was absolutely delighted with the arrangement, she said it brightened up her house and her Easter. I do not live in Guelph, Ontario but I needed to send flowers to a family member. I wanted the arrangement to be bright, beautiful, and delivered on time. I left the details to the florist that took my order and then crossed my fingers! The flowers arrived, my niece loved them, and the florist followed up by email with the sales receipt and a delivery confirmation, which was something that no other florist across Canada has done on my project to send flowers to my ten nieces for their birthdays who live I. They forgot the balloons as well ( but they did remember to charge me for them). I would not even use them to send flowers to my ex wife. My only regret is that I cannot give zero stars here.

I place a very large order for my mother's funeral and was beyond disappointed. The main bouquet had more wilted and brown flowers than fresh thriving one. The second arrangement arrived with no water in the vase the funeral home had to put water in it, plus the flowers again were wilted and brown. The third arrangement was a very special one from Great Grandchildren and the banner was incorrect. What a huge disappointment. After calling and speaking with Patti she blamed everyone except herself for the nasty arrangements. Do yourself a favor and NEVER use this florist.

So disappointed in this place. My mom ordered flowers for our grandmother's funeral, and the main bouquet of red roses had clusters of browning, wilted flowers. Another of the bouquets had large white flowers, all wilted, with several pink roses that also looked brown. After calling, and emailing photos, my mother was told that they "grow that way" and Patti didn't address our other issues at all. She was condescending, passive aggressive, and completely uncaring. Didn't even offer an apology, which is all we wanted. I would never wish this experience on anyone else, nor would I ever return to this business.
