I will admit that ordering a Mother’s Day bouquet the day before is not a good idea, but I decided to try anyways. I went to few florist websites in Gatineau as I’m ordering from out of province. Many of them clearly stated they would deliver on Monday, but this website said NOTHING about being unable to deliver next day, so we put in an order, expecting a Sunday delivery as stated on our order confirmation. We found out after hours on Sunday that they did not deliver. When I called the shop, I wasn’t able to finish telling my issue before the associate talked over me. When I told him the website should have said next day delivery wasn’t possible, he lectured me about ordering last minute. Since the website won’t say it before accepting your money, I will. DO NOT ORDER THE DAY BEFORE MAJOR OCCASIONS. The fact their website does not mention this, to me, is flagrant false advertising and tells me they just want your money. I will be using another shop and ordering farther in advance next occasion.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! BAD SERVICE (LIERS)!!! I ordered online a medium bouquet of flowers for Valentine’s with a plush (stuffed animal) and a box of chocolate to be delivered to my girlfriends place. It costed me $160 which is considered not cheap at all and you would expect an amazing service. The flowers showed up that day all scattered with the water spilled out on the chocolate and the plush ruining the whole gift let alone the fact that the flowers were old and died 2 days later and it was not the same one I ordered online (looked waaay off). That said, I called the shop to return the whole arrangement because nothing was like what I ordered. The guy asked me to keep it and work something out because it costed them a lot allegedly. I felt bad and agreed on 50% refund on the whole order ($80) and I’ll keep everything and promised to issue a refund the second day using the phrase “I’m a man of my word”. Surprisingly, that didn’t happen and I had to follow up calling over 5 times until he picked up 5 days later and told me that he can’t do much because the “owner” said that the flowers have been delivered and that’s all that matters. Long story short, if you’re thinking of dealing with this shop, take my word for it and go somewhere else. I’ve had one of the worst services possible let alone the disappointment on that special day. They don’t honor their words, THEY PUT MONEY FIRST NOT THE CLIENT!!! Good luck!

This place could teach other businesses a thing or two about customer service. I ordered a bouquet on their website, which was informative and easy to maneuver. After placing my order I ended up having to move the delivery date down one day. I live 1000 miles away in the US and had ordered the flowers for my boyfriend and I was anxious that it would not be an easy fix (just because that's how life goes sometimes). The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was SO SWEET! He was eager to help correct my issue, and made the process so painless. The arrangement was GORGEOUS, and it felt like they had given us some extra care in their selections. Could not be happier!

I ordered a bouquet and chocolates to be delivered on Sunday May 9 for mother's day. It is Wednesday May 12 and it has still not arrived. I cannot reach La Florist because they don't pick up the phone and their voicemail is full so I am posting a review here as a means to contact them.

I called the same day (Valentine’s day) and explained that I wasn’t able to go out to surprise my wife, she’s sick with cancer and wasn’t feeling well. The owner worked with me to deliver her the bouquet of her dreams in a beautiful crystal vase, by 6pm that day. She was so happy when she woke up from her nap, she was dancing and signing. What a beautiful gift. Thank you for your incredible customer service and I’m so happy we were able to support local. The roses were beautiful!

I don’t recommend this florist. I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day. I called on Sunday to find out when they would be delivering them as I had initially requested them to be delivered Saturday. I was told they were very busy but were making deliveries Sunday and that they had three drivers. I said that was no problem. Monday night, still no flowers. I called Tuesday and they said that they were too busy and couldn’t deliver them. Even by Tuesday they hadn’t been delivered. I told them they should have notified me, at least then I could have gone elsewhere. They said they were too busy to email me. Tuesday they asked me if I wanted them delivered. Clearly not. I took my business elsewhere. Perhaps an automatic return email should be set up so that if you aren’t able to process any more orders the customer can be notified right away that you are unable to fill their order, at least they could go elsewhere instead of being left hanging for days. Not very professional.

Very rude employees, asking for a delivery update and I get a blanket answer that gives me no answers. I had to pry for a straight forward answer, which was given in a condescending and belittling way. Apparently my method of payment wasn't acceptable until they were headed to deliver the flowers where I needed to pay again even though I have a proof of purchase from the website. Quite a frustrating experience and I don't even have the flowers yet. No compassion on behalf of the staff either when I brought this to their attention When purchasing online I gave the address and unit for delivery. They called asking for the delivery address, the driver didn't have the information apparently. Quite a frustrating experience throughout

I'm absolutely livid. I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my girlfriend's birthday. I hadn't heard from her that she received them, so I called them twice in the evening to confirm delivery. The man I spoke with said repeatedly that it was delivered, but he had to replace the helium balloon that I ordered (they didn't contact me to say that they didn't have it in-stock, but were still going to charge me for it). I called back two hours later because it still hadn't arrived. The woman checked her book and then said it wasn't delivered. This is completely unprofessional and inexcusable. But to lie and say that it was delivered was even worse. Find another florist. Edit: the replacement offer would have been nice when we were on the phone, but this option was not mentioned at the time even after I said that I would have to go to a different florist now. Instead, it's only mentioned after this Google review, so it's only catering to those reading these reviews. Not being able to see my girlfriend because of the COVID restrictions because we live apart interprovincially is hard enough without not being able to at least give her a surprise gift on her birthday.

I ordered a Valentine's Day purple bouquet of flowers for a dear friend. I placed my ordered two weeks before Valentine's Day and spoke with a very kind woman who helped me process my order over the phone. I live in Ontario and was very anxious about this delivery as I would not be able to pick up the flowers myself. There was some challenges with delivery the flowers due to miscommunication with the recipient. The owner was very calm, professional and helpful. I truly appreciate how helpful everyone was, especially when I could have been much kinder during my first conversation during the delivery delay. I highly recommend this shop.

I was late planning our anniversary and decided to stop in last minute on a Sunday to get a bouquet of flowers for the wifey. I was greeted extremely well and felt like I had been a regular customer for years. The two people working (I'm assuming they were the owners) were extremely nice and friendly. They listened to what I needed and did not disappoint. My wifey loved her flowers. While there I saw this lovely teddy bear and asked if I could get a single rose to go with it for my daughter. They took the extra time when packing to make sure the teddy bear was prompt up so you could see his face sticking out of the bag with the rose. When it was time to leave they helped me to my car with the bouquet. They went out of there way to make sure I was happy. I would recommend on the pure friendliness of the employees and the quality of product they delivered.

I ordered an orchid gift for a friend who lives in Gatineau on 14th May. She has not received it and my card has been charged with $100. As someone who lives in England, it would be ideal if I could email regarding the issue - how can there be no email address for customer services??! Instead I've had to spend more money on international calls which are not being answered. The occasion has passed, so I would just like my order to be cancelled and my card refunded please.

I ordered a Mother’s Day bouquet which was never delivered. Their voicemail is full and they have not answered the phone the multiple times I have called. They did not notify me that the delivery did not take place, nor did they refund me, apologize or even acknowledge that the delivery did not take place. I made an order for February 13th delivery well in advance. I called later on in the day on the 13th to ask when the order might be delivered. I was told definitely by the end of day but probably later. Fast forward until later on and they call and say they’re not going to be able to do it that day, but they’ll deliver first thing tomorrow. That brings us to today, where I called after 2pm having not seen or heard anything from them. Then they tell me it will be late evening. I tried calling again to see if there’s any update but now they aren’t even answering. This is beyond unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Don’t be fooled by the professional look of their website, as the way they conduct business is anything but. I may update this review if they actually answer me or finally make the delivery.

I would NEVER recommend this florist. I ordered two bouquets for Mother’s Day. One for my mother and one for my mother in law. The bouquets never made it. When I called at 6h30pm wondering why they had not received the flowers, the worker said they had had to many orders and unfortunately would not be able to send the flowers out. First of all, they accepted my online order knowing they were under staffed. Second of all, they never called or emailed me to let me know they wouldn’t be able to make the bouquets. How unprofessional. I’m disgusted to have trusted this company. There are many other florist in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. I’d advise you to shop elsewhere !!!!!!

Very disappointed with the quality, service and professionalism. I ordered my mother a money tree for Mother's day for over $70, which she was very much looking forward to, and what she received instead was a generic hanging flower bouquet you could get at the grocery store for $10. I tried to call multiple times all week to get an exchange or refund, and no one answered, as well as their message box being full. With no way to contact them and sort this out I feel completely scammed out of my money, and my mother is very disappointed for a Mother's day that was already difficult because we can't be together due to the pandemic. As things stand currently, I can't in good faith recommend this establishment to any of my friends or colleagues, and will not be using them moving forward for larger scale purchases for upcoming functions.

I would never purchase from here again. I paid 74.99 for a full bouquet of flowers and they delivered something that is the size of my water jug (see photos of what they offer and what they sent me). They obviously rushed my order and not only did they delivery in the evening (instead of at a reasonable time during the day... and charged 10$ for it!!!), the gentleman over the phone tried to justify cost of flowers etc which means nothing to the general population, and make every excuse possible. If you have pictures of different sizes, it is your job and duty to your customers to try to provide something of representative size. Additionally, they charge 9.99 for a small box of chocolates but they literally sent me a Lindt chocolate bar you can buy for a few dollars at any grocery store. The guy's solution? Instead of being humble as a business owner should and not make excuses, he wants to drop off "a couple white daisies tomorrow". The business owner should be ashamed of himself. I never run my businesses like this and I wasted nearly $120 down the drain for a very important occasion for my wife.

Ordered flowers for my daughter's first mother's day... the ratings we're 4.6 so I thought they must be good... well was i ever wrong... 1st.. she never got them on mother's day even after they called saying they couldn't find the address, which is weird cause they're 8 min away by car... practically up the street.. She told them address was right and they said we'll be there soon... 1 hour passed and I called them back which now it was 9:00 pm. The lady on the phone said I'm sorry we're running late but I'll be there soon... i said ok no problem I understand....10:00 pm no flowers yet...so I texted the number and I got an answer saying I'm sorry it got late and we stopped the deliveries... OK I was upset but I said OK I hope the flowers are still nice tomorrow.. you will deliver tomorrow morning... "yes" .. well we called back Monday morning and they said they will be delivered sometime today... now I'm really upset.. I was told in the morning and she finally got them at 2:30 pm .. my daughter sent me a picture of the flowers and it's not what I ordered... not even close... completely different from the picture online... i wish i could post a picture... but i haven't been able... the flowers are not worth the price I paid much cheaper flowers... . I will NEVER order from this place EVER AGAIN.... not only they were one day late but order was wrong and I've been calling all day goes to voice mail and of course it's full you can't leave a message... no way to reach them... they're lucky I live in Montreal too far to show up at their door...cause I would have been there first thing this morning.. total RIP-OFF

Finally I found the Fleuriste in Gatineau! Tried two others but this one is the one where I will stay with my flower wishes to the recipient in Gatineau! I expect a delivery at the desired day and just Le Fleuriste was able to manage this! Thanks again! More orders are coming...

Mother’s Day ruined! My mom didn’t get her flowers, but they charged my credit card. When I called a week later to complain, they asked if I still wanted the flowers delivered since I had paid for them instead offering to make it up at no cost or perhaps offer a gift card from the shop. No thank you, services are not reliable, not happy at all.
