Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!!! Ordered an arrangement for a friend. Spoke to customer service rep via online chat to confirm i could order the specific arrangement and ship to the designated location. Customer service rep confirmed yes no problem. My friend received her arrangement yesturday and i was nothing like the photo! contacted customer service and was told that they feel like the fulfilled the order and will not be solving my issue. Here is a photo of what I ordered and a photo of what my friend received. Dont know about you but 100.00 for this is absolutely ridiculous!!! DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

Ordered 18 Long Stem Roses for my wife's birthday. First issue arose when no one could be reached by phone to inquire about the order, and the Live chat function provided automated responses. Finally received the bouquet to discover I only received 12 roses. When I was finally able to reach someone via chat, I was told that they "trust our florists" and could only issue a store credit. I indicated that it wasn't a matter of trust, as the photo clearly showed I was missing 30% of what I had ordered. The attendant persisted that the florist was correct, and that I had received 18 flowers. I acknowledged that this was not acceptable, and that I would be opening a dispute with my credit card company. At that point the attendant told me that my request had been forwarded and to expect a response within 24 hours. That was at 17:24EST on Jan 23, and I will update this review when I receive a response. Update: Jan 26 15:13EST 6 roses arrived. Original 12 have already begun to wilt despite following care instructions. Don't use this company.

The experience with Bloomex was very disappointing. I ordered a set of three things, flowers, cake and baloons. I paid 83 CAD for it and not one thing was right on the delivery. The items described on their website is completely different from what they sent. I wrote in an elaborate email with all my issues of the flowers being wrong and sent without the vase, the cake delivered was a regular chocolate cake rather than a fudge cake and there were supposed to be 4 baloons out of which only one was delivered. The response to my email was, the flowers sent are according to the policy and hence no issue noted. The fact that there was no vase of it and all the other problems were not even addresses. Pathetic experience. really disappointed. Will never order from them and would never ever recommend anyone to order from this store.

***WARNING DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE FOR IMPORTANT EVENTS*** We placed a large order two weeks prior to my mother’s funeral, the week leading up to the funeral we were in contact numerous times for their notification emails sent out had errors, we even had a scare with a notification that said it was delivered 4 days prior to the funeral. We contacted them and they assured us it was simply a system error and that the flowers would arrive for the funeral. At 5:10pm the day prior to the funeral they called to let us know that we were the only order to deliver in that area for that day therefore they would not be delivering until the day after (once the funeral was already past). Most flower shops were closed by this time, and those that remained opened were not able to have an order ready for 8am the next morning. This left us stuck and stressed in a time where things were already emotionally charged. We learned that they simply take the orders and then give the work to local shops and take a cut. Best to order from a local flower shop directly to ensure delivery, and better pricing.

Flowers in general are pricey but Bloomex had some pretty good sales. It was super easy and quick to order the flowers. On top of that they give you 20% discount which is a huge plus for me. Will def order from here again.

Ordered for Mother's Day and paid premium delivery fee. They arrived 4 days early. The flowers were completely dead. My mom was quite disappointed. Bloomex customer service has been terrible. They said they would issue store credit, but it comes with a lot of conditions (can't be applied to shipping fees, only used on certain deliver days, etc.). That said, I accepted the store credit. When I log in to my account online, I still have no store credit, and it's been about 2 weeks. I've ordered from Bloomex twice before with good experiences. I understand during the pandemic, they might have issues with stock, but that doesn't excuse the terrible customer service.

Flowers were not delivered in the window I had paid extra for. They were supposed to be between 9-12 in the morning. They arrived in the evening, with no phone call to the client. I received no delivery updates to be able to notify them... The delivery person left them at the back, beside a bbq, not in sight of the door whatsoever. They ended up staying out all night since no one saw them until it was light out. Very disappointed, paid a lot to have them "supersized" and they just look like normal amount, now dead flowers.

Even though delivery of this surprise birthday bouquet arrived several hours before the recipient returned home, those flowers that were a bit droopy recovered beautifully in a day and, as always, last much longer than the usual florist arrangements.

I called before 4:00 p.m. which is their cutoff time. I talked to the representative online and he was able to help me through with my order. He stayed on the line until the order was complete and I was able to see the transaction on my email. Later. I was able to watch the confirmation email come through and the next day when it was in transit and then an hour or two later when it was delivered to the recipient. The process was quick and we'll informed.

Such a disappointment. I ordered 36 long stem pink roses and I super sized the bouquet to the biggest deluxe size.. The roses were mediocre at best. These were for my mom's 65th and we're supposed to be a surprise on her b'day, they were delivered on the wrong day and the roses were browning and all fully bloomed and on there way out. When I reached out for compensation, I was provided an in-store credit. I spent close to $200 on those roses and I will NOT be giving you a dime more of my money. Do not order from here. Would give 0 stars if I could. I have been trying to "contact" this company for over 10 days now.... Not only did they ruin my mother's day surprise for my mom by sending her flowers TWO DAYS EARLY when I had requested + paid extra for them to be delivered on mother's day, they also sent her DEAD FLOWERS. By the time she had gotten them in the vase half the petals were gone and the heads of the flowers actually fell off some. Not only did this happen but when I reached out to the company to explain my situation I get no response, but instead a "status change" to refund pending and they refund me FIVE DOLLARS for sending it on the wrong day... FIVE DOLLARS! Which means I still spent over 70$ for dead flowers delivered on the wrong day without notice... ? No thanks. Emailed them again days ago and have not gotten a response..... Now I am having to call my credit card company and dispute this charge. I also tried to contact them via the "chat" on their website... what a joke. First a "bot" tried to offer me "20% off my next purchase"... no thanks, I will not be purchasing dead flowers again anytime soon. Next, I actually got hold of what I think was a person and he left the chat while we were chatting. NICE. Pictures of my mom's "gift" are below... These are from the first day she received them, and despite her best efforts in watering and caring for them they just got worse over the next few days. Honestly I should have just picked some flowers on my own and sent them in a canada post box - ridiculous but likely would have turned out better! Horrible company. Will NEVER, EVER recommend this company to anyone and will ensure that all my friends and family know to STAY AWAY. Total SCAM.

The flowers do not look their best on receipt (as advised) but they bloom beautifully on the subsequent days and lasted for nearly 2 weeks. My first time ordering was great. I bought 3 bouquets for Mother’s Day. All were delivered on time, where beautiful and lasted awhile. Then I made the mistake of ordering a second time. Getting my stepmom a bouquet for Christmas. I ordered a Christmas bouquet and instead received roses. They arrived 2 days late, did not come with the food to keep them thriving so they died quickly. And the delivery driver didn’t even bring them to the door they put them outside in a car port!! They were out there for hours. When I tried to contact customer service I could never get through. I finally left a message and never heard back. Won’t be ordering again.

I was supposed to receive flowers from Bloomex for a special occasion, but the third-party delivery company delivered them to the wrong address. Instead of making it right, Bloomex suggested that the delivery company go to the other address two days later and ask for the flowers back in order to give them to me. On a good day, this is unprofessional and absurd. In the context of the COVID19 pandemic, it is reckless and inappropriate. Upon insistance, Bloomex agreed to finally make things right and send fresh flowers now three days after the original delivery date with a different delivery company. They never came. The original delivery service did in the end retrieve the original flowers from the wrong address and give them to me - totally wilted and destroyed. Bloomex flat out refused to give a refund since they never delivered on their end. EDIT: The "replacement" flowers were delivered on June 21, packaged on June 17. They are wilted and destroyed, and there is BROKEN GLASS in the box. See pictures. I am extremely disappointed in this company which delivers poor-quality customer service and BROKEN GLASS in their boxes. I do not recommend them at all.

Order the vase + card combo to my order on top of the flowers and they didn't deliver the vase but are telling me they did when they clearly didn't based on the delivery picture. They are also now refusing me a refund or at least a delivery of the vase. They are only offering me in-store credit but I will never buy from them again. Absolutely horrid experience. Ordered a bouquet for same day delivery only to find out the recipient did not receive them. I called and their customer service said I my address was "Out of local area" which is ridiculous because I live in Greely which is considered Ottawa. All they could do was offer me a refund for same day deliver which was $5... They assured me my flowers would be delivered the next day but the whole point of getting someone flowers on a special day is the date itself. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go physically buy the flowers.

I ordered 20 tulips with a vase purchased on top of the tulips for a friend’s birthday. Anyone especially a florist would know that the vase for tulips has to have a wide mouth for the flowers to be displayed at their best. The tulips were beautiful but the vase was completely wrong so wrong the my friend had to use two vases for the flowers to breathe. The vase they put them in were chocking the life out of them. Was very disappointed. At least the tulips were nice and very fresh.

We were sent a fairly expensive bouquet of flowers and they arrived half dead. The delivery was sent out Aug 26th and we received them August 29th. As you can imagine the flowers were wilted and brown. We contacted customer service and they would only provide a store credit not a refund to the individual who sent them to us because the order was delivered! We don't usually complain but for a $100 bouquet the flowers were obviously passed their expiration date THAT IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We received a second delivery a week later without even a call to see if we were even home or away!! The roses were wilted and droopy. We still can't get a refund for the person who sent them! I feel so bad for my daughter's boyfriend - he had such good intentions and went to the effor to send us flowers of appreciation and we felt bad sending him a picture of the flowers that arrived

I wish I read the reviews to advise the person who tried to surprise me on valentines day...NEVER order from here. Pay attention to reviews - I was meant to receive a valentines day arrangement and after missing a call from the delivery man (and calling back 5 minutes later) they had already left. This is after the company is already attempting to deliver this same package 3 days late. The delivery man was rude to me. He blatantly lied about trying to use the buzzer to call the apartment phone to reach me and went as far as to claim that it didn't work. I tested the buzzer myself WITH my landlord because I thought it was an issue for the entire building but no problem...it worked just fine...the delivery man just lied. He said that the order had been updated to be delivered the next day which was another lie. I called to complain only to have customer care say they will attend to me, proceed to put me on hold and then be re-directed to voicemail. I've never had the misfortune of dealing with a company so unprofessional and most importantly RUDE. Please, save your money because Bloomex is nothing but a waste of energy and money.

As I live in another province and I was having an small issue on their website, I called in for support. I never ever write reviews for companies but this company has had the worst customer service that I've ever experienced in my life. I would give this zero stars if I could. Had a horrible experience with this company and appalling customer service that I will never use this company again. I had ordered flowers to be sent on Monday (Dec. 7th) for a birthday and ordered express morning delivery. Followed up when it was past 12pm to see the status of them and they said it was on route but would refund me the difference between regular delivery and morning express delivery. I then followed up again later in the afternoon and it was still on route. I then received a call closer to 5pm that my order had not been sent as they ran out of balloons. Not too sure why I wasn’t made aware of this when I called twice. I was then told I could cancel the order or they would upgrade it to deluxe. I decided to upgrade it as receiving something late is better than nothing. I called again the next day in the morning and they said my order was on route. I called again just before 5pm and they said that the order was “on route” but could be by 8pm. First of all, you already messed up my order and the recipient of their birthday flowers could be getting them at 8pm THE NEXT DAY. This is beyond shameful and I will not be ordering from this fraudulent company again. Now on Wednesday (Dec. 9th), the order came (it was very clear that the order was only sent out the day before) with a deflated balloon, no card, no vase which were supposed to come with the purchase, instead were smushed inside a box with a sponge. The picture attached was supposed to be the "deluxe" upgrade for being so careless with my order the first time. In what universe is the attached picture in any way supposed to be a deluxe upgrade? The customer service was abysmal and there was continuous lying about the status of my delivery only for it to be sent in poor condition and incomplete. After multiple complaints with zero accountability or apologies on the company's part, I was told I couldn't get a refund and that they could get resent or get a $20 store credit. No thank you. Will not ever be using your services again. UPDATE: The department that deals with negative Google reviews is 1000 times better than their regular customer service (which again is honestly the worse I've ever experienced in all the countries that I've lived). They rectified the situation by resending the flowers to my address instead (at my request) but I think there was a miscommunication as I thought that they were going to send me a gift basket of the same value as a courtesy instead of resending the same order of birthday flowers as this was days later and there was no need to be sending me birthday flowers and a balloon as I wasn't the original recipient. I think rectifying orders is amazing but when you send birthday flowers, it's important that the company sends them on the right day. However, the flowers that were received were pretty and fresh and everything was included in the order this time, I would've just preferred what I had requested which was a gift basket with the same value.

1 Star from a former long term client and supporter of the service. I am truly disappointed, as Bloomex has never failed me before and I was relying on the services and recommending the Bloomex to friends and family. Unfortunately, my order with an express shipping was not delivered on the scheduled day, what is the point of ordering flowers for an occasion that is happening on a specific day and not receiving it? I went above and beyond to avoid it, reached out to customer service on the delivery date to make sure we are on track and still they failed to delivered. Cannot trust it anymore.

UPDATE: Unfortunately Bloomex website does not show which days are available BY LOCATION so you can complete your order with next-day delivery (and pay extra shipping) and then you may receive an email that next-day is not available for your location. :( They were prompt to let me know and arrange delivery for their next available week day (so my flowers were 3 days late) and added a free upgrade which was appreciated... but I have emailed multiple times for the next-day shipping refund on both orders and only (eventually) received it for one order. Their customer service is quick to help you place an order..... but very slow and neglectful if there is an issue on their end or a refund involved. -------- I couldn't make it to see my grandmother on her 75th birthday but I ordered a flower delivery from bloomex.ca! They had great sales and promotions. ALSO they support the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure by donating beautiful pink carnations for our breast cancer survivor participants. <3

Bloomex.ca is such a scam. I ordered online and I paid $14.99 extra to pick a delivery date for flowers for a friends funeral. They were not delivered until a week later, obviously useless. No response from phone calls, emails or online form for 4 days. Because they eventually delivered them, they wouldn't give me a refund.

Very disappointed with the delivery, and even more so with customer service. I have ordered from this place many times and haven’t had an issue before other than flowers being delivered very late during the day, but this last time ensured I won’t be ordering from them again. I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day with a couple of days’ notice and paid for the delivery fee of more than half of what the flowers cost (no problem, it is a holiday and many people are ordering). The flowers never arrived. I contacted customer service the next day and received no reply on the chat for over fifteen minutes, after which I sent an email stating I wanted to cancel the order since Mother’s Day had come and gone. A couple of hours later, I received an email saying the flowers had arrived. My mother-in-law, to whom I had sent the flowers, sent me pictures of them, and as you can see they were not in a good state. Once again, I emailed asking for a refund, since the flowers had not been delivered on time and I had paid the extra holiday fee. A Big Scam Company I ordered Designer Flowers and Cake. The order was placed 15 days in advance for my girlfriend's birthday. The flowers were not delivered on time and florist simply insisted to cancel the order. However, I requested to please deliver it and it was so shocking that they delivered dead flowers. Paying so much and what I got was dead cheap flowers. Bloomex is a big fraud and scam company. They are looting people by showing eye catching pictures and when we call them, no one answers and when we email them they tell us that the flowers are as per their policy and if you want fresh flowers than you have to pay full price. I mean which company will email saying that they deliver only dead flowers. The cake did not come on the birthday day and it was stale and cream was spread everywhere leaving us to garbage it. I asked my full refund but they are simply ignoring it. I request all the buyers to refrain buying from them. I am highly dissatisfied with them.

The worst company I have ever dealt with! I’m actually shocked that this company is able to trade and get away with their corrupt practices. I asked to cancel the order only minutes after my order when I then read the reviews. I heard back off nobody for a week when I finally got to speak to a real person on the online chat. By this time the date had already passed that the flowers were meant to be delivered yet nothing arrived. I received no communication to say it was or wasn’t cancelled and then they tried to charge me $25 to cancel and refund the rest. $25 for a order I never even received and the delivery date had passed!!! It’s bordering on being one of Canada’s greatest scams. You’ve only got to look across the internet on social media and YouTube inc the news to see how this company operates and the shocking customer service they deliver. Oh and of course the lack of flowers they deliver!

I ordered from this site because I had a coupon. When I put my order through, I was tired and rushed, and didn't bother looking up reviews first. Afterwards, I saw that this company had received absolutely terrible reviews in the past, and I was worried that I had thrown my money away. I was sure of it when the flowers didn't arrive when expected. However, it turns out that in my hurry, I had entered the wrong city and postal code (by autofill), so the delay was my fault. The customer service rep was very polite and professional, and explained that if I wanted to reorder I could do so for a small fee. I thought this was reasonable, as it was my mistake. The flowers were beautiful, very similar to the picture on the website. I would use this company again. One small note - be aware that the flowers will not come with a vase unless you specifically order a vase, which costs extra.

Update: I gave a good review after checking their offering on the website and placing an order. They also have $5 rebate if you write them a review. However, what happened after is completely irresponsible. The order was to be delivered between 6-9 pm. It was attempted at 4 pm when obviously the recipient was not at home. It is the worst company ever! My boyfriend from Ukraine ordered me flowers for St.Valentine's Day, and he chose a "deluxe" delivery. I was waiting for these flowers all day. But I didn't get anything! I was very disappointed. Then I called them, provided order number (my bf couldn't reach from ukrainian cellphone) and they replied to me that I wasn't at home. I said that I didn't get any calls and asked them for proofs (like screenshots). They replied that the courier would deliver me these flowers the next day. Firstly, I was okay with it, but I didn't get anything! Still now! I called them and asked to do a refund for my boyfriend; the manager replied that someone from the financial office would call me sooooon... I assume bloomex delivers to a receptionist at the hospital. The hospital did not give the basket to the patient. 4 days later when I found out she didnt get it I had to call and hunt it down. It was too late and she had left the hospital. I might never had known she never got our gift. If sending to a hospital you might want to keep in mind they might not get to the person.

Tried to cancel my order right after I had placed it, only to be blocked by their "25$ cancellation fee". Hmmm I wonder why they would have a fee at this point? On top of that, terrible customer service from management. Will be updating when I receive my flowers. Lets hope they're up to par... The live chat is just a bot, so you're not actually speaking to a human being to resolve your issue. I purchased flowers for my brother and sister-in-law to celebrate their pregnancy, but the package was not delivered and I have been unable to reach someone to resolve the issue. You expect when you pay $70+ that the package will be delivered on the date you picked, but apparently my expectations were set too high. I understand from other reviewers that it will be a nightmare to try and get a refund. This will definitely be the last time I ever use this company. I received an email today, the day after it was supposed to have been delivered, that the items were delivered, however it hasn't actually been received. I imagine this was in response to my formal dispute raised with the bank and they're attempting to show that they completed the transaction.

I've used Bloomex twice in recent months. Pros: they delivered to a rural area without any issue or extra charge, the flowers were in good condition for both bouquets, they delivered on time/on the requested day and for one delivery the recipient was not home so the driver rang the neighbour's and left the flowers with them which I appreciated since it was a cold and snowy day. Cons: they take too many liberties with substitutions. The first bouquet ordered was supposed to be white and pale pink but it ended up having really bright pink which isn't what I wanted. The second bouquet was pictured with roses and lilies but the actual bouquet had a single rose and the rest was carnations which are obviously much cheaper so that was disappointing and not good value at all since I thought I was paying for better flowers.

I have never dealt with such poor customer service in my life. I order some daisy flowers from Bloomex. A day after ordering I received an message saying they are switching my order of yellow and white daisies to pink and white daisies. I thought okay that is fine, I would have preferred the yellow but at least it is still daisies. The flowers arrive and when they are opened they are not daisies at all but chrysanthemums. I had ordered the specific daisies because they are my mom's favorite. If I knew they weren't going to send the right flowers I would have waited until they could, or not sent the flowers at all. When contacting Bloomex they said that the flowers they sent looked lovely and it is their policy to be able to replace the flowers with something else. If you ordered from any other florist they would contact you to tell you they didn't have those flowers and what would you like to do. If you want to know what flowers you are ordering than don't order from Bloomex. They originally offered me a $10 credit then they recanted it. Do not use this company. After posting this review, bloomex did resend the order I originally ordered to my mom. The flowers were lovely. I do appreciate that they wanted to fix the mistake. However it should not have taken as many emails as it did and for me to have to post such a negative review of their company before something was done. The customer service at this company needs some work.

I am simply trying to place an order. Our first encounter was AWKWARD. She stopped speaking when I asked how I came about calling a corporation rather than a local shop. It seems juvenile, unprofessional and extremely disrespectful for an employee to shun a client and actually not be reprimanded. I am done with Bloomex, as our relationship has taken a turn for the worst possible silence episode of my life and I am guessing that shunning clients is their CODE of ETHICS.

We ordered the Colours of Christmas centrepiece on December 1, 2020 as a gift to be delivered on December 18, 2020 (ordered on line from Halifax to be delivered in Ottawa) and they were delivered on time and were beautiful. Ordered May 14, for next day delivery. No next day delivery in the area they will deliver May 18. May 19 at 9:00 a.m. I cancelled, May 19 at 1:47 p.m., they delivered, May 20 the flowers were dead. They refuse to refund my money saying its the delivery company fault. WHO HIRED THE DELIVERY COMPANY? I ordered online they sent flowers by Purolator from Ottawa to Toronto, back to Peterborough then to Dunsford five days. If they don"t understand you cant send flowers by regular courier that takes 5 days, I cant trust them. You get an apology email that their system spits out offering to resend the order. You cannot find where the head office is and there are no phone numbers for any of the listed offices on the website. The number to order flowers is the only phone number you can find. Talking to them is like talking to a brick wall.

Terrible customer service. Never again. My husband's boss lost his brother unexpectedly. So, everyone pitched for a condolence basket- close to $200. We decided to go with Bloomex instead of BASKITS (who offers amazing quality but a longer delivery time) because we wanted it to get there before the funeral. They delivered it on time but it arrived like this. How embarrassing. It was also not the card I ordered. I called and inquired about how this happened and what they could do to fix it. They said they would look into it and call me back. After calling them again days later, they placated me and never followed up. Next time, I will stick with what I know to be good quality, even if the delivery time is a bit longer, it is worth it- the quality and assembly of the baskets and the care put into them is reflective of the price you pay. This definitely is not. Never again, Bloomex.

Only giving one star because at least the flowers weren't completely ugly. I placed an order on Friday, to be delivered Saturday, as I needed them for Sunday morning. I paid extra to ensure my flowers would be delivered during the last time slot, 6-8pm, wanting them to be as fresh as possible. My flowers were delivered at 10am instead, with no explanation and no refund on the extra amount paid for later delivery. Then upon checking the flowers, I was extremely unsatisfied with what I saw. The bouquet did not resemble what was online AT ALL, flowers and size, which I supersized, for an extra fee. The bouquet looked like something I could pick up at Walmart for $15.00, not ugly, but not worth $75.00. To finish it off, no flower food was provided because "They ran out" as I was told when I contacted customer service. Terrible experience, would never order again and strongly discourage anyone from dealing with this company. Don't waste your money!!!!

I am leaving my review up, to give the entire story. I have been a Bloomex customer for over 10 years as I send flowers all over Ontario. As you can read from my review below, I was less than satisfied with the service I received. Upon leaving my complaint, Bloomex, followed up with me and sent a lovely suitable bouquet to my friend. I have placed another order tonight to give them another chance and will see how they do. Thank you for making this order correct for me - much appreciated. I ordered flowers to congratulate my best friend on the birth of her first daughter (with clear instructions that this was the occasion for the bouquet). I picked out a lovey arrangement for $69.99 entitled "Precious Pinks", pictured on the left, and a picture of the delivered bouquet on the right. In my humble opinion this substitution is completely unacceptable (Christmas themed, no pink, no roses, no lillies). I complained to Bloomex, who responded that although their supplier could not fulfill the bouquet I ordered, this was, under Bloomex guidelines "an acceptable substitution". If I had known what was going to be delivered, I would have cancelled or at least delayed the order, but was not given that choice so this disappointing "Congratulations on your New Baby" bouquet arrived at her door. As a gesture of good will, Bloomex offered me $20.00 in store credit. I will not be using the store credit as I will be taking my business elsewhere and my suggestion is you might want to do the same.

This company has the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I placed an order for a bouquet to be sent as their mother had passed away and they were leaving the next day to go take care of things. I saw they offered same day delivery and selected that day, the 23rd, for delivery. My order confirmation clearly states that the date to be delivered was the 23rd. My 7:57pm my order had not been delivered so I called customer service and was told it would be delivered before 8pm and then was told that it was weird and a manager would contact me. The manager contacted me by email and keeps repeating their policies (which is that only certain cities have same day delivery) and won't respond to the fact that I selected and received confirmation for same day delivery during checkout and on my confirmation email. You cannot speak to a manager on the phone and the customer service agents are absolutely unhelpful. I suppose my almost $100 bouquet will look good on their front steps for the week they are out of town. So if you have week long anniversaries or other special occasions and want flowers delivered at some point during the week, this may be a great company to order from but if you expect the delivery to be done on the day that you are told it will be, then you may want to go with literally any other flower company.

I ordered a 50 roses bunch for my aunt's 70-year birthday, it came 30 flowers in total only, also completely different looks than the picture showing on their website. I emailed the customer service, they said that they have the right to substitute the type of flowers. Sure, but that also means they have the right to cut down the total number of flowers??? I do not recommend this company at all, unless you're expecting a big disappointment.

Worst experience ever, I order flowers two weeks ago,, to be delivered Feb 13. They sent email in transit at 11.45, I started calling at 6.00pm, again at 7.00pm and no return calls, access chat section (t will just take a moment to go through the details – please wait awhile). This is what I got and after 45 minutes I gave up. Wife had gone to bed when they finally showed up at 7.45. Will never used again. You should treat people a little nicer and at least answer the phone or return calls or don't leave people hanging on your chat line

I have ordered from Bloomex many times over the years as I live overseas and most recently ordered for my sister's birthday. She sent through a photo and the bouquet looked almost identical to the photo online in terms of flower choice/colour. They even chose a nice font for her birthday message which was a nice touch. I would however recommend upsizing the bouquet, but for the price and convenience, I will definitely be ordering again.

Edit. This has to be the worst place to buy flowers from period! I bought a standing spray and a vase of lilies for my mothers funeral the lillies did not have a single flower all tight green buds. And the standing spray was a box of half dead flowers . The funeral home emailed the company because they were absolutely disappointed with what they sent I also sent them photos of what I ordered verses what I received. Can't warn people enough to STAY AWAY from Bloomex!! I ordered flowers and a gift basket for a friend returning from the hospital, to arrive the day they were returning. I ordered Dec 17th for delivery Dec 19th (available date on their calendar). When it wasn't delivered by the 20th (but their website said it was), I contacted their customer service who confirmed it was not sent, and ASSURED me it would arrive before Xmas. They couldn't answer why the site showed it was delivered when it was not attempted. Christmas came and went and it was never delivered. I contacted their customer service, who stopped responding to our live chat and simply said a manager would contact me within 24h. Well that didn't happen. So I contacted them a THIRD time to say it was not delivered as promised and I want it canceled and refunded. They wanted to charge me $25 to cancel the order that never even was sent yet. I directly said I do not want them sending anything at this point, I am cancelling. They didn't listen. So my friend got the flowers and basket Dec 31st. 12 days late, after numerous customer service attempts. The quality was actually embarrassing. I have pictures of what was ordered online and what was delivered to them. The "gourmet" basket included dollar store wafer cookies and Niagara region wine, when the description clearly says "contains one bottle (750ml) of select French Red Wine, Castello Creamy Brie Cheese (120g) and five (5) gourmet items and includes any combination of the following gourmet treats; Roasted Almonds, Caramelized Belgian Cookies, Lindt Lindor Milk Chocolate, Three Pepper Blend Water Crackers, Hardwood Smoked Oysters in Sunflower Oil, Belgian Truffles, Dark Chocolate Truffles, Baci Chocolate Pralines, Wild Freshwater Tuna, Napa Valley Honey Mustard Sourbough Nuggets, Almond Roca Toffee, Primo Dolce Truffle Cookies, Chocolate Milano Biscotti, Dark Chocolate Bars and Lindt Excellence DARK Chocolate. ". Simply a scam. The flowers looked dead. Purely embarrassing. Customer service is such a pain, frankly the whole operation is a scam and now I'm stuck trying to dispute the charge through my credit card. I've attached photos of what I ordered and the website pics vs what was received.

Changing my review. After giving them a terrible review cos I couldn't get hold of customer service and the flowers that I got and my bf mom didn't get. The owner reached out via here to send the complaint to it's customer service cos via email. My bf mom got lovely flowers two days later. And I was given a choice of replacement flowers, a gift basket or a credit. Decided on the gift basket as I didn't want to take a chance of dying flowers. Got a lively gift basket as replacement. I am so glad that they came through. Old review. My bf bought a bouquet me for delivery in Ottawa and another one for his mom to be delivered in Kapuskasing. Mine got delivered but the other one didn't. We cannot get hold of anyone even though we left messages and was put on hold. The flowers I got were crushed and squished into a box. There's no customer service. We cannot get hold of anyone to talk to anyone about the other delivery that never happened.

They took a bunch of flowers and placed them in a vase not arranged I even paid to upgrade. I placed an order for four large-sized poinsettias and was not notified at any point that they were out of stock. Instead, they substituted the order for three small flower bouquets that they considered to be of "equivalent or greater value". This was not in my opinion an appropriate substitution. I was not notified at any point that they were out of stock and that they were substiting my order. Bloomex proceeded to deliver the order anyways, and now refuses to process my refund because once an order is delivered, it is final. Do not be fooled, this is a scam service!

Fraud Alert ! Call your cc co asap. Flowers came 1/2 dead , browning, one rose fell off , others didn't bloom. Complained less than 4 days later & they took 3 days to tell me it was too late which is a lie contrary to their posted policy. They probably were sitting for hours in the delivery vehicle. The fllowers came with woody stems, wilted, & dead with an unopened rose broken off in the wrapper. Waste of $75. This company is not the Florist. They have no checks & balances. I made the mistake of not checking the reviews before ordering. Wrong flowers sent. Called customer service, provided a picture of the wrong flowers and they informed me that, as per their substitution policy, they have the right to send us replacement flowers that they consider of equal value. They offered a store credit, we'll see if they actually do, of the price of the flowers (minus taxes and delivery fee). Unless you order widely available flowers, don't expect to receive what you ordered.

If I could give it a half star or no star at all, I would. Pre-ordered a bouquet of flowers for my mother's birthday 13 days in advance. 13!!! Paid premium delivery to have them delivered in the morning of. The morning went by and the flowers did not show! Tried to get in touch with someone from the company, took a couple of tries but the individual told me that the flowers would be delivered shortly and that I would be "refunded the extra delivery fee". The flowers have not showed and when I tried to contact someone through the chat I received a pre-recorded answer that told me my orders is in "investigation" because there is an "issue"; however they cannot tell me what is wrong. This is outrageous!! This is the FIRST and LAST time I will be using this service, and I will NOT be recommending it to anyone!! This has been the WORST customer experience I have ever received, the service has truly been horrible.

Do not use this company. I took the time to put in an order two weeks before Valentine's Day. The flowers never showed up. I asked for a refund and they tried to send them the day after. You can never get anyone on the phone and the instant chat agent is useless because he can't do anything without the manager and the manager is unreachable. If they would have empowered the online agent to provide refunds, I would have never written this poor review. Call direct to the florist, do not use this company.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my fiancée for her bridal shower. They were meant to be in our wedding colours and delivered the day before the shower to ensure they arrived in time. They were entirely the wrong colour when they arrived and were delivered too early. Further, they were left at the front door in the heat, without any notification of their delivery. As a result, they were wilted by the time I opened the box. I contacted customer service, which quoted a policy that they have the right to change the type or colour of a flower dependent on availability. Of course, this makes perfect sense, but they stated that this policy is clearly written in the confirmation email and their policies page. It in fact does not appear in either. They offered a store credit to make up for the poor product and service, which was kind, but I'm afraid I will not likely use it. The delivery was made outside of their main urban centres, which may have impacted the quality and delivery, but based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

I ordered flowers for my mom's birthday and the ones that arrived were half dead and had almost no flowers in them for $50? Could have gotten a better quality set at the grocery store... We ordered an arrangement of beautiful flowers from the bloomex Ottawa website and it was the worst experience I’ve had ordering flowers. We purchased a beautiful bouquet for our parents 25th wedding anniversary and decided to go all out and supersize the flowers. We spent over $100 and chose next day shipping. The flowers arrived and to our horror they were NOTHING like what we ordered. Now I don’t mean they substituted a few flowers, it was a completely different bouquet!! Also it was not “supersize” by any means, it was the size of your average bouquet that you would get from metro, and the flowers resembled grocery store flowers as well. I contacted customer support and they responded fairly quick which was nice, and offered an in store credit, a replacement bouquet, or a gift basket of equal value. Since I’m not planning on ordering from them again, and didn’t need more flowers we chose a gift basket valued at $100+ dollars. It arrived the next day and all I could do was laugh at how ridiculous this whole experience has been. The gift basket was to contain 12 items and a bottle of both red and white wine. We received a bottle of red and 6 items, mainly crackers and cheese. I have contacted customer support again to see if I should be expecting the next half of my basket in the mail any time soon. This company is false advertising and a complete scam. Save your money and go somewhere else. Nothing here is worth the prices they are charging people. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. Horrible experience! I ordered flowers for my wedding day. I indicated on the website that these were for a wedding since there was an option, and I ordered white bouquets, 2 with blue accents. The blue flowers (don't know the name) were replaced with dyed carnations of a much lighter blue so I was immediately disappointed in the colour change. Then I notice that the flowers are crushed, wilting, and browning. My white bouquet was very obviously brown. I threw out most of the flowers and bought new ones from a grocery store. I tried to contact the company but no one answered and no one ever replied to my voicemail. Two weeks later I finally get a hold of someone from the company. They tell me to email in my pictures. I send them everything I have, some are included here. They said that they were up to company policy but could offer me in store credit. They did not indicate how much credit or any more information on how to receive it since it wasn't automatically applied. I called the company again. They told me they could offer me $15 of in store credit. This was a joke seeing as I spent over $160 and a measly $15 credit wouldn't pay for anything they offer so I would have to give them more money just to use the credit! They upped it to $20 credit but it still isn't enough, nor was I interested in credit since I never intend to use them as a company ever again! No refund at all was offered. I was particularly disgusted with their company policy about refunds and credits. At the very least they should offer enough credit to use on the website without spending more when someone paid as much as I did.

Figured i would give it one more chance and recently ordered for our anniversary. Paid same day delivery and ordered at 0830hrs. Plenty of time to be shipped and arrive at my wifes location. At 1800hrs the same day i asked my wife if there had been a delivery, she said no. So i called bloomex and their response was that it will arrive at 8pm. I ordered these to my wifes place of work. Im also certain that the majority of business' are NOT open around that time. So I requested a full refund. I was only given the same day delivery charge back. The following day the package arrived with shrivelled dried, dead flowers and more expired chocolates. Do yourself a favour and try another company, bloomex should be boycotted for ruining precious moments consistently!

This is a warning to the public, never purchase flowers or any product from "Bloomex". This unprofessional company took my money and never delivered the products I ordered. I ordered the "30 tulip combo" which comes with a card valued at $100 on February 13 2021. This order was scheduled for delivery on February 14 2021 and It's now March 9 2021 and I still haven't received my order. Valentines day was ruined for me because of this company but they seem not to care. Please don't have your special day destroyed like mine and just avoid doing any type of business with this organization. Bloomex breached our contract and is holding my money hostage. I requested reimbursement on several occasions utilizing various methods with no avail. Their online chat is useless, most of the time you're communicating with a machine which replies with automated messages that don't even address the issue. When you try to call, the majority of the time you're going to be sent to voicemail with no call back. The odd time I was able to speak with a live agent, I was told a manager would contact me to discuss my matter which never happened. No product + No refund = Theft Dealing with this company has been a total disaster. I highly suggest you use another company for your flower purchases. I will do my research and post alternative recommendations for your flower delivery needs.

Save yourself the time and money and DO NOT order from this company. I wanted to order some nice flowers as a surprise for my mom on her birthday. I ordered them the day before, seeing that they had next day delivery and everything seemed fine. The day of her birthday, I received an email late in the afternoon that the flowers wouldn't be arriving that day as the delivery location was not in their 1 day delivery area. This was fine. I told my mom to expect flowers, but not until the next day, and that there would be a free upgrade to the order as promised in the email I received from Bloomex. The next day came and went and the flowers didn't arrive. Annoyed, I emailed Bloomex requesting to cancel the order and get a refund. I never received a response to the email, and instead received a delivery update saying the order was now in transit and that I could track the order with Purolator....but received no tracking number. The flowers did eventually arrive 2 days late. My mom said the box was crushed and left upside down on the porch, they came with no plant food and the delivery driver just rang the doorbell and left. The flowers also do not look anything like the one's I ordered. Incredibly unimpressed and disappointed.

Terrible customer service! I ordered a dozen roses to be delivered on Valentine’s Day to my special one. This was the first time I send her flowers and it was a special occasion for us. Bloomex ruined my day! First they didn’t deliver the flowers on the day I asked for; second they ended up delivering the following day to the wrong address; and finally when we received the flowers they were terrible quality! I paid $80 for a dozen of roses and I ended up receiving roses that were the same quality as those worth $19.99 from a grocery store! Update Jan 21 - Have been refunded one month later, however, had to be persistent and was told 5 or 6 different stories from different customer service agents. Finally with them landing on blaming the courier service. If I hadn't persisted, they would have been completely okay with my recipient never having received anything, and having taken my money. Despite being refunded, I have learned my lesson and will not be using this service again Update - Company responded to my review saying they "wanted to fix the issue", but won't offer a refund, only to have a new bouquet or a gift basket delivered. It's now three weeks later and every customer service person I have been in contact with has offered a completely different version of what happened, but it definitely wasn't THEIR fault... I wish there were flowers for me to even review, but there aren't!! I contacted customer support before even ordering to ensure my order would arrive before Christmas, because I wouldn't order otherwise. Was told that as long as I ordered before Dec. 22 at noon it would be delivered on my selected date. Ordered on Dec. 21st with a selected delivery for Dec. 23 as this date held significance for recipients. Order never showed up, my order status was updated to in transit, but there was no delivery. When I contact support again and they said would contact me within 24 hours with an update, well surprise surprise, they didn't. This last time when I contacted them, was told to be patient and they were busy. And that there was glitch in the system that wasn't allowing me to be updated about the status or that they were completely overbooked. I am beyond disappointed, as these were to be delivered to my late-boyfriend's sister as a gift, given I couldn't be with her this holiday season. I've opened up a dispute with my credit card company, because I've bee charged for a product and delivery fee that wasn't delivered. Bloomex is a complete scam and they offer a $10 refund for a review, so it's no wonder they have many glowing reviews. They apparently bit off more than they could handle, and are offering the poorest customer service I have ever received. I was blatantly lied to, and it's not my fault they weren't able to hold up their end of the bargain. Don't use this company - shop local and support the small guys who will go our of their way to ensure the customer is satisfied!

The flowers didn't get here until the day AFTER Valentine's Day, in a horrible shape. My guess is that the flowers were left in the freezing cold car overnight. I recommend everyone stays away from Bloomex, specially on special holidays. I guess they take more orders than they can deliver on and the customers are the one paying for it.

I ordered flowers (1st picture - blue & white) for a friend who is going through Chemo. I ordered the blue and white ones because they are her favourite colours. First off, I paid extra to have them delivered on Saturday, when she wasn’t having treatment. Got an email that said that they would have to send them via courier and they wouldn’t be arriving until a Tuesday(when she is in treatment). I had to order a clear vase because BLOOMEX DOESNT SUPPLY THE VASES FOR THEIR FLOWERS and of course you can see by the second picture the flowers look like nothing I ordered. The courier, Purolator left them on the front porch, in the freezing cold, luckily enough a neighbour spotted them and took them in. Clearly the flowers are completely different than what I ordered (flowers cost $97). When I called to complain, I first got several messages saying their agents are too busy to answer the phone and to call back. I then pressed 1 (to make a new order) and was transferred to Justin (ext. 277) who offered me a $20 “in store credit, which refused. I attempted to explain nicely at first that the flowers (and vase) are not what I had on ordered and that I wanted a full refund. Justin denied my request and when I asked to speak to a manager, that request was denied. When I asked who I could speak to at his head office, I was given an address that I could write to. When I pushed harder, he said I could return the flowers via Purolator for a full refund... The owner of this company is a Dimitri Lokhonoi and there is no contact info for her/her. When I ordered the flowers there was no warning that they could substitute the flowers, no warning that they didn’t deliver into the area and would use a courier. The flowers that was sent to my friend are an absolute disgrace, I could have picked up better from a street vendor selling flowers. Safe your money friends and find a reputable company, Bloomex is ghetto and will rip you off. Do not use this Company! I placed an order online at 9:20am today. I specifically selected an arrangement that was eligible for same day delivery as it was important that it arrived today. I followed up with a call to add delivery instructions and was told that there was a problem with the order... the vase was no longer available but they would compensate with extra flowers. Nobody contacted me to let me know this. Had I not called who knows what would have happened! At 1:20pm I received an update that the flowers were in transit. At 7pm when the flowers had still not arrived, I called and was told "sorry, the flowers will not be delivered until tomorrow." If the flowers are in transit then where are they?? Sitting overnight on a truck in -20 weather? The order was cancelled. I bet it will be a nightmare getting my money back!!

Save your money....I've ordered flowers many times and seems to me only the odd time do they get it right. This last time I ordered flowers with a VASE to be delivered to a Church for a funeral. Flowers were delivered, no vase, therefore there was no way for them to be displayed. Couldn't very well just leave them in the box at the front of the Church. Also, flowers were far from fresh, they were crushed and outside leaves of the flowers lying on the top of the box were brown. I do not recommend using Bloomex. Order #3253839

I ordered an item on Oct. 2nd for delivery on Oct. 4th. On the morning of Oct. 5th I received an email saying Bloomex would not be able to complete delivery on my confirmed and paid order for Oct. 4th. Bloomex would instead deliver on Oct. 6th and provide a significant upgrade plus account credit for Bloomex's mistakes. I was disappointed but agreed to the offered solution to rectify the problem. On Oct. 6th my order was delivered without any complimentary upgrade or credit to my account. I called Bloomex and was told it would be referred to a manager to sort out and they would be contacting me on Oct. 7th. On Oct. 7th I received an email form Bloomex mischaracterizing my concern as an issue with the interchangeable items within my order, rather than the real issue which was that the promised upgrade wasn't applied. I called again and was given more empty promises and apologies but with no action. These actions show a complete disrespect for customers and ingenuine attitude towards fulfilling promises. EDIT (after Bloomex's response): If they actually read the issue rather than copy and pasting a standard reply then they would see I've already been talking to their customer support with my order number for three days now BEFORE I posted this review. I've given Bloomex lots of opportunities to fix this before it has gotten to this situation but have been denied and ignored at every chance.

I ordered a sympathy bouquet, paid extra for the larger arrangement. It was supposed to be standing in an urn. My relative received them on time however the flowers were in the green foam block, with a plastic bag of water tied around them. They were dripping so much the delivery person had them wrapped in towels. I contacted them and they told me they were sent the way I ordered them, in an urn. Why would I make this up. They finally gave me a store credit which I will never use since I will never do business with them again. It was embarrassing and made us look cheap.

My first experience with Bloomex was good. I got a bouquet that was not as big as I expected and no plant food as the instructions indicated however as time went by the bouquet bloomed and looked good so I decided to go with Bloomex again and ordered a deluxe Christmas arrangement. I got 2 roses, a few carnations and 1 stalk of baby's breath plus greenery for over $50. Don't bother calling their customer care line because they won't pick up meanwhile they sent me a text and called me when I was ordering and didn't complete the order to find out if I was 'having trouble' . So they are pretty quick to 'help' when getting your money but no where to be found when you have questions or complaints about your order. Bloomex your service is spotty at best and you wouldn't have to offer money off for good reviews if you just gave your customers what they paid for. Do better.

BUYER BEWARE! Purchased flowers April 20, 2020 (to be delivered for April 21, 2020). Requested cancellation via web chat same day. Agent advised that they would process the request and send a follow up email. Did not receive a follow up email. Contacted Bloomex April 21, 2020 via web chat. Followed up in regards to refund request. Chat agent informed me the refund was impossible because they had changed the order status to confirmed (after I had already submitted my request to cancel). Bloomex contacted me via email to inform me there was a delay with courier service to deliver flowers. Flowers arrived April 22, 2020. Bloomex has not followed up with several email requests I've sent to resolve the matter. Flowers that were delivered were nothing like what was advertised on website. Next steps will be to submit a formal complaint to Ontario's Ministry of Government and Consumer Services. This is unacceptable business practice. Update: This was the email I received after I submitted several emails to their support email. "Hi, Stephanie, the Status of your Order No. XXXXXXX has been changed. Dear Stephanie, we were sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with what was received. While we understand the importance of having the selected arrangement delivered as described, unfortunately, certain substitutions may occur in the event of stock fluctuation due to COVID-19. Please note, once an order is received, simple flower care must be followed: stems should be cut by 2 cm and put in the warm water to hydrate for about 2 hours. After, this procedure must be repeated every day. Also, we leave so-called guarding petals on roses to protect main buds during transit time. We hope it will clarify the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience and understanding. Please note that your business is very important to our company and we look forward to making your future orders a better experience. Ordered flowers and a vase, upon arrival the vase was smashed into bit, the flowers were damaged from the glass and there was little pieces of glass all in the flowers. Talked to customer service who refused to give me a refund. this is honestly one of the worst quality flowers as most of them were wilted anyway. If they come completely destroyed don't expect to get you're money back. Honeslty it was not worth the money wouldve been nicer to get flowers at wal mart. DO NOT USE BLOOMEX! Absolutely horrible experience. First order was not delivered AT ALL. You can not reach a person to speak to by phone (a message says the queue is full and asks for a callback number, but no one calls you back ever), no response by email, and "live chat" is a bot that sends you back in a loop telling you to call customer service. Second order (unfortunately I ordered two separate deliveries at the same time) arrived but was NOTHING like expectations. Upgraded to highest, most expensive superior size, but instead of a dozen white roses, the order had only ONE rose and the rest filled with a few daisies and baby's breath. Bloomex claims that because the colour scheme was the same, they had every right to substitute a fewer number of cheaper flowers and still charge for the upgrade. Hugely disappointed. Call your local florist and order directly from them instead. Also look up "scam" and the CBC investigation about them!!

The order was placed to be delivered in December 23rd. The order had not been received by late afternoon early evening so I attempted to contact Bloomex. After many attempts finally someone on the online chat advised it would be delivered by 9 pm. The order was not delivered so I again tried to reach out to Bloomex, after a very frustrating almost 30 minutes I was assured it would be delivered before Christmas. It did Get delivered however I ordered a gift basket with Christmas arrangement and a gift basket with crackers were delivered. Very unhappy and dissatisfied!!

Update :: after some back and forth Bloomex did make it right and resent the order which was thankfully beautiful. I am still uncertain if I would use them again as the quality of the first flowers should have never been delivered and it makes me question whether this would happen again! I was not impressed at all with my order that arrived today. I wasn't expecting perfection, but I'm curious how the flowers that arrived look remotely like the website photo.. very disappointed... and embarrassed to have sent these to a family member. I know the pictures aren't at all what the product will look like but this is no where close.

Many times when I order from a “teleflorist” or an internet florist, I am usually sadly disappointed when my gift arrives. I have actually been embarrassed in the past. My experience with Bloomex has been different. The flowers are gorgeous and they live longer than the typical ones you get elsewhere. I was fortunate enough to have had a coupon too, so that made it a no-brainer to order from them. If you are concerned about having your gift recipient getting a quality product, go with Bloomex.
