The owner (the Asian woman) is so ignorant, rude, and miserable. If she was a man i would have punched him in the face. Being on my best behavior, because I was with my grandmother, I tried to get some flowers for my uncle's funeral. What an unforgettable experience! I honestly can't believe or understand how or why "she" is still in business??? Go anywhere else!

I walked into this place and immediately noticed there were no pre-made bouquets so I knew I would have to build something from scratch. I knew I didn't want anything too complicated or fancy. Just a simple bouquet of carnations. The lady immediately told me, "No. Girls don't like carnations. You don't want that." And proceeded to tell me everything I didn't want to hear, refusing to sell me what I wanted. After an extremely frustrating back and forth she finally gave me what I wanted. But I am blown away that she even retains a single customer with this kind of terrible customer service. I would never return to this florist. It also seems like she just made up the numbers on the fly and overcharged for an extremely simple arrangement. The flowers were nice which is the only reason this isn't a 1 star review. But refusing to give your customer what they specifically ask for and giving them a hard time is not how to conduct business. It really left a bad taste in my mouth. Not recommended.

Amazing as long as you don't use this place as a last minute resource on typically busy flower giving holidays. So friendly and helpful, clearly passionate about what they do. That being said I showed up unannounced on valentine's day and got yelled at. Any other day of the year and they really do go the extra mile to make sure your arrangement will hit it's Mark be it getting you out of the doghouse or just an extra special gesture on an otherwise blah kind of day.

I have always had a good experience shopping for flowers here, I am a return customer, I have been going to Joan's for years and will continue dealing with them. UPDATE: Tried using a delivery service for mothers day due to covid restrictions, so I tried Bloomex, and let me say that was the worst idea I ever had, Bloomex was absolutely terrible. Not only did the flowers not arrive on Mothers day WE DIDNT END UP GETTING THEM AT ALL. I regret not picking up flowers at Joan's for this occasion, I would have known exactly what I was getting and the flowers would have been amazing.

I've used them for several years to deliver flowers to family members who reside in Ontario area, and I absolutely, absolutely love their work! They are always speedy and have an excellent turn around time on deliveries. Their floral arrangements are always colorful and my family members always love, love, love how wonderful everything looks. I would highly recommend them for their excellent arrangements and speedy same-day delivery times.

Wanted flowers for my girlfriend. Told the lady I would spend 20-30$, she whipped up a beautiful bouquet at the bottom of that range. My girlfriend loved the flowers and commented on their quality. Almost a week later she trimmed and removed some dead and the things looked brand new and are continuing to grow! I am blown away. High quality flowers for great prices.

Very very disappointed! I asked for something modern and creative. When I placed the Order I asked if it was possible and even told them I did not care for the traditional vases on Display and wanted something current and new....wow shocked when I went in to pickup The order.. It looked like it was going to an old ladies funeral!! With fake ribbon bow and all! Very over priced for what I got!!

I ordered a large bouquet on behalf of my extended family for my uncle's funeral last week. It was amazing. Large, beautiful, tasteful and looked awesome. All my cousins were pleased with the results as were the immediate family. I would recommend Joan's Blooming to anyone living in that area. I have to ask them if they have free delivery to Burlington where I live. If they do I will use them much more.

Horrible service. I stopped in to talk about flowers for an upcoming wedding and spoke to the rudest round asian woman who would not even make eye contact as she ran around frazzled. When I told her what I had in mind she yelled at me and said "You dont want this. You should do this... " Telling me what to order. I ended up asking her 5 times for the same thing but she refused to give me a price saying I "couldnt afford them. They are too expensive." I was so upset after 15 minutes of talking with her that I had to run out of the shop bc I had tears in my eyes and I didnt want her to see me cry. I will never go back here and I hope you dont as well for how they treat their customers.

I had my wedding arrangements done there as well as the bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids ; also corsages & boutonnieres. It was a complicated order and I requested VERY SPECIFIC flowers and VERY TRICKY arrangements. EVERYTHING was done perfectly to what I wanted and the flowers were SUPER FRESH and lasted a long time after the wedding (which is tricky in cases when they are arranged in sponges and not just put in water). It is a very unassuming place and does not seem like much but : you can count on the fact that the flowers are FRESH and the florists (Lydia, the owner and Maria- the employee) would do an excellent job. EVERYONE complemented us on the flowers during the wedding ! Thank You Lydia & Maria for making my daughter's special day so much more beautiful with your floral artwork !

Someone mentioned this is an unassuming store and that is correct, but wow what a great job they do at very reasonable prices. We worked with Maria who designed 2 beautiful Fall arrangements for my Dad's funeral service. They were gorgeous and so much nicer than the standard arrangements you can pick from the funeral home's book. I'd definitely go there again.

Great place for flowers. Tell them how much you want to spend. She will tell you how many of each type of flower you can can get for that price, then she puts them together in a beautiful bouquet. Whoever gets that bouquet will love it.
