Really probably 3 1/2 stars because I'm not very happy that 2 of the 3 VERY EXPENSIVE hydrangea stems I bought yesterday look HORRIBLE today. I followed the clerk's directions & cut / crushed the stems, soaked the lower part in hot water for 1/2 hour. I was told they'd last several weeks. But just one day later they look so sad. I am happy with the great selection at this store. I had been wanting to buy small pots with kitchen herbs. They had rosemary so I picked up a couple of those which make my home smell amazing. Plus I picked up a small lavender plant that I plan to put outside & a white african violet (they had several colour choices). I was given good care directions though I now wonder if I should trust those.

Some of the freshest flowers in the city and always very reasonable prices. I have trusted Harry's to put together and deliver many bouquets for me and they have always done a lovely job and called the recipient in advance to let them know the delivery time. Great service! They also have a good selection of indoor houseplants and beautiful hanging baskets in the spring. I never go anywhere else.

Great selection of flowers, merchants are the rudest people I have encountered in the industry! Get indignant when you ask them to please wrap around the plant and then drop you're change from mid air into your hand. I am not going to give these people my hard earned money, they can keep their flowers. Bad experience!!!

My husband has always felt that Harry's Flowers was the best in town to purchase roses, as long as I can remember. He is a plant expert / grower, and knows how to manage roses. He no longer feels purchasing roses at Harry's is a good choice. The service was poor and twice now the roses flopped their heads within a couple of days. Plus the 6 other roses have not opened up at all after a week. These roses were my Mother's Day gift. Very disappointing.

Absolutely Horrible!!!! The owner called me the day prior to my birthday with a terrible manner in speaking , almost yelling thru the phone to tell me I have a flower deliver for my birthday and it was the day before my Birthday . I told her I thought her approach was really bad and obviously ruined any surprise. She was extremely rude and ended telling me to have a horrible BIRTHDAY!!! Just unreal - I will be complaining to the BBB

This is the worst service attitude I have ever seen. The cashier is an old man and he was very impatient with us! He just wants us to pay quickly! Believe me, you can go a little further, there is an Oak Bay flower shop.,although I have not been there, I believe the service attitude will not be worse than Harry’s Flower shop!

My boyfriend (who lives in New Zealand), decided he wanted to surprise me with a bouquet of flowers. He ordered online and the money was taken out of his account. He told me to wake up early because I might be getting a surprise at my door. I have been awake since 7 a.m. waiting on the bouquet of flowers he wanted to send me. I have called 3 separate times, and each time they said it was out for delivery. It is almost 7 p.m. and I am still awaiting my bouquet. This is very upsetting and disappointing that they could allow this to happen. I understand that this is a small family business, but having someone waiting for hours and getting concerned if he has been scammed, is unsatisfactory. My boyfriend spent over $100 after taxes and a $15 delivery fee for it to not show up. All I wanted today was the beautiful bouquet that my boyfriend wanted to give me to cheer me up. But, now my Saturday has been wasted sitting around waiting for something to show up.

Absolutely awful service. The man working was one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. He continuously ignored us and when we finally got his attention, he acted as if we were inconveniencing him, simply for asking him to do his job. Will never shop here ever again and wouldn’t recommend anyone shop here if they don’t want to be treated very poorly. It’s a shame, his product is quite nice, but in my opinion, the shopping experience completely negates the floral selection.

I would not use for delivery! When my delivery was not made at the time requested I called and had to deal with a defensive woman who was quick to anger and not helpful in the least. She wouldn't let me finish explaining anything about my concerns. Kept making excuses and told me that my order had been on the truck all day!!. She finally canceled my delivery and said she would refund me the total amount. The whole experience was distressing and I will have to wait for several days to get my refund and my sister is without her birthday flowers. Just Awful. I heard that they have lovely flowers..... But without good customer service and a good website it is useless.

We have been living outside of Canada since 2015 we've used Harry's to send flowers to our family and friends several times - and especially now that we can't easily get to Victoria and our daughter graduated from UVic. The flowers are always on time, terrific healthy quality, beautifully arranged and last a long time. They are exceptionally helpful and kind over the phone especially now that we are stressed with the separation caused by the Covid travel restrictions. Our daughter LOVED the 10 +2 yellow and red roses. It was a perfect long distance acknowledgement of her graduation accomplishments.

Lily saved our wedding, as far as we are concerned. Two days before our wedding, we received the flowers we had ordered from another vendor only to see that they were brown and crushed! It was too late for that vendor to correct the problem so we called Harry's to see if they could help. Lily got on the phone and we explained what we were looking for. No big deal for her and the flowers were ready by lunch on Saturday. They were absolutely beautiful! The bridal bouquet is STILL gorgeous after 4 days! Thanks so much to Harry's Flowers for stepping in and helping us make our wedding such a special day.

This small store has a wealth of both potted plants and cut flowers. They will deliver both plants and bouquets around Victoria. There is so much variety that one could spend a good amount of time just admiring the plants. If you love plants there is a lot of temptation here, orchids, cacti, low light plants, violets, pointsettia at Christmas, etc.. The possibilities are endless. The staff are helpful with plant care tips.

I live in Taipei, Taiwan and have used Harry's Flowers to order for my mother who lives in Victoria 3-4 times. The flowers that arrive are always gorgeous, healthy, and last a really long time. Harry's has also been excellent about accommodating flower requests (my mom hates lilies) and delivery times. I encourage everyone to use them!

Had a really great experience with them today. I called at 1, needing a same day delivery for a basket of flowers and a balloon, and not only was it a great deal, but it was out on their truck by 3:00! Great customer service over the phone, and my mother in law absolutely loved the arrangement. They look even better in person than online. Shop at Harry's!!!

I have never wrote a bad review about any company, because I am a strong believer that sometimes things just happen. Today Harry's Flowers has changed that. After using the online order system and writing very simple and specific directions I then called them to confirm the directions. They then proceeded while completely disregarding my directions. So all in all I over paid for them ruin a great surprise for my girlfriend. I hope people make a better decision than I did and use another flower shop in town.

I have been sending Christmas flowers to my daughter for 4-5 years with perfect results. I live in Utah and have called Harry’s with my selection and the staff was helpful. Today I tried using online service and they would not take her postal code. So I tried to call and get help by telephone. The girl on line didn’t know what to do and told me to call back some other day . ....or just “bug off”. Goodbye Harry’s you are no longer customer friendly!!

One of the WORST EXPERIENCES. Most of the GOOD reviews are obviously her friends because this place already has a bad reputation known for the aggressive manager/owner. My sister from out of town ordered online and not only did they send the wrong order- she actually ranted at me on the phone at work that it was my sisters fault and that " I should be happy with my order and she hopes we never order from them again " Even my co workers who over heard her, because you was so loud could not believe the call. Stay the hell away from here

My late grandmother lived with walking distance of Harry's Flowers from the early 1990's until 2014. Since that time I've always purchased my flowers at Harry's (and still do). I was a Victoria resident for 12 yrs and purchased in person (their shop has a lovely selection of bouquets). Now that I've moved away I order thru Harry's website as I have many friends and family still in Victoria. One time I decided to go elsewhere for flowers. I was very disappointed. IMO most competitors are more expensive, flowers are of lesser quality, and service isn't as good. If you're from out of town and looking for a place to buy flowers don't hesitate to use Harry's. Today is my Mom's b-day and I used Harry's once again. Thank you for the many years of great flowers! I'II keep coming back.

This store may have a decent selection of flowers but due to the owner's lacklustre helpfulness, I will be taking my business to the other flower shop down the road. I came in the morning to get flowers for a family funeral, when I asked the owner to help me pick something out he said that if I don't know what to get, how would he be able to help me and then went back to work on whatever he was doing before. I love supporting local stores but I think is a pathetic excuse for customer service.

I have only got houseplants from them, but their prices for them are great. Not the largest selection in Victoria for houseplants but they always have some hidden gems, checking it out is definitely worth your while. Super friendly and kind as well.

I received the most beautiful Christmas Centrepiece with three candles. I was called to choose a flexible time to have it delivered but because I was driving past the shop, I elected to pick it up. To my surprise, and delight, I was given a gorgeous white chrysanthemum plant due to picking up the floral arrangement.

The Lady answering the phone cooled my emotions and reminded me that many flowers aren't allowed in the hospital and that "I DO NOT NEED TO OVER SPEND". Nice flowers but service was dismissive and rude. It wasn't busy so I am assuming this is just the poor service you get here. There are many places around town that sell beautiful bouquets and can afford to be respectful and nice to customers. Take your business elsewhere.
