Placed an order online the day before Valentine's day. My girlfriend is a teacher and I had the flowers delivered to her school. The timing was perfect; they were delivered during lunch hour. This was the first time I have been to this location and certainly will not be the last. I went in about a month ago to prepay for an arrangement for my mother's birthday. I had a horrible experience ordering an arrangement online for mothers day (not from petals for less) and I decided to go in and speak to an actual person. The staff was so extremely friendly and welcoming. I know absolutely nothing about flowers and the lady at the front asked me basic questions and voila! I was text pictures to my phone before delivery and I couldn't believe my eyes they were stunning! Thank you so much everyone for the beautiful arrangement you made my mothers birthday.

I've been a Customer here for almost 30 years and have never been disappointed. NEVER! I always go in and either pre-order or select one of the many beautiful arrangements in their walk in cooler. Their arrangements are the best and their skills show through. I've purchased flowers for my mom for her birthday or mothers day each year, a long with cut flowers for my grandmother's urn at her resting place to celebrate mothers day. Out of all those purchases of well over 50 arrangements, my mothers reaction was always one of admiration and appreciation of the beauty. My mom passed away a few days after her birthday just before Christmas and her service was yesterday. I called them, they remembered me and told me the arrangement I requested would be embellished in appreciation of our long term relationship. They weren't kidding and practically doubled the size and added some beautiful flowers and nice touches. So this next mothers day, my mom and grandmother will still be receiving flowers from Petals fior less, and although their immediate reaction is no longer, I will always have the memories of the ones I was fortunate to witness. Thank you for being part of my mothers life.

Poor service. 1st my order was not delivered on the day i want it delivered. 2nd i have to follow up 5 time in 2 days. 3rd they promised to compensate by upgrading my order but that didnt happened. 4th and the the very worse my wife has to pick up the flower from another house where they dropped it... hows that for service? Your WIFE whom youd like to surprise picking up the flower you paid for picking up from another home...... good luck for those who are going to order from these shop.

I went to PFL looking for my bouquet, Boutonnière and batches of roses for aisle decorations etc LAST MINUTE for my wedding. I had a small budget and very tight timeline. Not only did the wonderful staff at the shop deliver what I was looking for, but they went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of in an efficient and stress-free manner. Ordering flower arrangements at PFL is hands-down the easiest transaction I had to do amongst all my wedding-related planning activities. Five stars recommendation and definitely I will come back for all my future floral needs!

So today is the day before my wedding, wife and I drive an hour to come pick up flowers from the flower shop in Costco and original price was $150 ish. So we get here to find out it was 300$ DOUBLE THE PRICE... Well I told them to simply get bent.... Made a call wife was stressed out I was pissed.... One call to these guys they help us get EXACTLY what we wanted the day before the wedding. And not only do we get exactly what we wanted we get it for 130$ I just want to give a major shout out to this store for saving my wife's day :)

This place is fantastic! I bought some flowers here for my sisters graduation and the owner was so helpful and got me in and out very quick since I had to catch a bus to school. I love that they’re open very early and close very late unlike many other flower shops in Edmonton. There is a large variety of flowers available that are all fresh and beautiful, good for any occasion and the prices are very affordable. You will not be disappointed. My sister is very happy with the flowers. Thank you, Petals for Less! :)))

I went to Petals for Less to order a large volume of loose stems to use in the creation of my friends wedding bouquets. I was pleasantly surprised at the wide variety of flowers there were to choose from as well as the assistance in getting in whatever I was requesting. Upon pick up of the flowers, the staff member noted that some of the chocolate cosmos had not come in as nice as expected, so she threw in a few extras just to ensure I would be covered. Very happy, will use again

Purchased 2 bundles of Hyacinths and 1 bunch was completely soft and soggy and would not stand in a vase when I opened them up. Also bought one stem peony for $10 that wilted and the leaves shrivel up within 10 minutes of putting it in water. If there was special instructions for the peony I wasn’t informed. I loved the selection but and 2 other arrangements were ok but just wanted to mention.

I walked in probably for the second time in my life to a flower shop and was intimidated by the enormous amount of options and little knowledge I have. I quietly tried to sneak in but all 3 employees met me with giant smiles and friendly hellos. After quickly walking into the cooler which smelled like a wonderful flower paradise, Beata came in to put some flowers away and asked if I needed help. I simply gave her my budget and purpose for buying flowers (birthday) and she helped me by pointing out some prearranged bouquets. Not once did I feel like she was trying to sell me old dying flowers or small arrangements for max dollars. It was a simple yet very friendly experience. Quickly she saw me staring at a beautiful arrangement as I was trying to see the price. It was a bit more than I budgeted... Beata didn’t hesitate and reached in to pull down the one my heart selected and she took it into the back, spruced it up, added some small flowers to make it even more beautiful and then... KNOCKED THE PRICE DOWN TO MY BUDGET! Amazing customer care and service. I highly recommend Petals for Less Northgate and all the employees. What a friendly, kind and great overall experience. I will be coming back for all my flower needs. Thanks again

DIY wedding and a wonderful place to order flowers. I'm doing a diy wedding (mom is a retired florist) and was going to order off of a bulk website. After I found out that the online store sucks I went to Petals for less. They are able to order all I wanted, including out of season flowers AND I saved around 200/300$ by getting them local. Save yourself the heartache and order from these guys instead of Costco, 40blooms or Bunches. The ladies at Petals will take care of you.

I ordered flowers for my grandfathers traditional wake/ funeral service. I ordered in the morning and they where able to deliver that afternoon to the church. There was a bit of a mix up, the church actually kept my flowers in the office thinking it was for the service the following day. When I arrived at the wake I thought a certain bouquet was the flowers I ordered. As the night went on, I wasn’t happy with the bouquet ( thought it was mine) it was half dead. The very next morning I called and spoke to a gentleman and explained my concerns. He was very understanding and right away said that he would go down there and fix it. The gentleman went to the church right way and fixed up my bouquet but than after realized that those flowers where not there’s. so he went on a mission and found my actual bouquet. He called me right away and told me what happened. I apologized and was so thankful that they went down there and figured it out ( I was so upset I lost sleep over it) When I arrived both bouquets where beautiful as ever! I was so thankful and so relieved that my flowers weren’t a disappointment. They looked so beautiful for my grandfathers funeral. I would highly recommend this flower shop. The service was impeccable! Some places give you a hard time when your not satisfied but not this place. I explained once and he was more than willing to fix it. But seeing the ACTUAL flowers I ordered I don’t think you will be disappointed with your flowers. I ordered a lily and roses bouquet and they were absolutely beautiful. Remarkable service! Thank you again for all your help and understanding! Amazing service!

Fantastic service! Staff walked me through my very bumbling questions as I figured out what I would need to order in bulk for my wedding centrepieces. On the day I picked up, I was invited to the back to watch my order be counted out, stem for stem, with extras thrown in at every turn. The flowers were fresh and lasted for days, I want to say a week even. The fellow who helped me out even gave me his cell number in case I ran short and needed extra flowers in a pinch. The prices were very reasonable and the customer service helped put me at my ease on the day before my wedding.

RIPPED OFF - plain & simple. I ordered flowers for my friend's birthday and was excited for her to receive the big, beautiful arrangement I selected. However... the arrangement was NOTHING like the one I ordered (only the box was similar). I called PFL as this is unacceptable and was offered 2 options - store credit (not an option as I'm out of country) or replacement. The second delivery was not only smaller than the first (+ smaller than dimensioned in the online description)... some of the flowers were wilted upon delivery! I appreciate the effort that was made to amend the situation quickly, but considering the cost of these arrangements I expect nothing less than what is advertised online. BUYER BEWARE.

Little disappointed in the flowers as I ordered the deluxe package and got less than what the standard comes with. I know mother’s day can be hectic for florists but if I paid extra I should at least get my money’s worth. Not recommending unfortunately. Most of the flowers including the lily looked wilted/dying. I’ve never had a bad experience with any florist such as this.

After I received the wrong arrangement for Mother's Day, (which my mother loved) I sent an email to them (they replied right away) and offered a great variety of options to compensate the mix up. (3 dozen roses!!!!) I was very pleased with them!!!

We ordered Mother's Day flowers several days in advance and even made arrangements to have the flowers delivered a day early (Saturday) so as to avoid any possible delivery issues on Sunday. The order was confirmed and our credit card was billed. Unfortunately Petals for Less did not deliver, so no flowers for my 80 year old Mom. I called on Sunday when the delivery did not come and was told that there was a backlog and that all Mothers Day orders would get delivered by end of day Sunday. When there were still no flowers on Monday, I called again and was told that our order was misplaced. They offered to send something out on Tuesday, but I declined based on the poor experience and asked to cancel the order and refund our money. I am still waiting for a credit and am not overly optimistic as this point. This does not appear to be a very well managed company and the customer service is non-existent.

I was only the receiver of the floral arrangement, however, in taking a photo & speaking with the thoughtful purchaser/gifter, the arrangement was not what they thought they were getting when they ordered it online. Even when trying to correct the error & kindly replacing the original arrangement, the second attempt was half the size/drastically reduced in volume (both in flowers & foliage). Adding insult to injury, a portion of the flowers were already wilted. Would not suggest using them as an online service only in-store purchases once satisfied that you are getting what you paid for. Additionally, a refund was strongly denied.

These flowers lasted for 2 weeks after our wedding which was impressive as well ...We would HIGHLY recommend her not only because she is the best in the city and very organized, but also for her kind, compassionate and her attention to detail! Will never use this flower shop again, order flowers for Mother’s Day and didn’t do that right. Go there and give all proper info pay for it and they could not get the one thing right. I have gone there before no problems, this time wow. VERY DISAPPOINTED

I have used this florist on numerous occasions and have been quite satisfied. I sent a bouquet to my partner last week that came up quote short of what was pictured. When I called to voice my concern I found them to be very professional and willing to do what ever they could to ensure I was satisfied. Rebecca offered a few options and I chose to have roses delivered. They did this without question and came through in a great way. They are definitely my "GO TO" florists.

Edited to say that the flowers and arrangements were very beautiful, much more beautiful than the picture on website. But just to let the owner know (or her staff) that white chrysanthemums are for mourning in Asian cultures, so when we ask to please not include white flowers in arrangements, please don't....I ended up taking the flowers back from the recipient and apologizing, and now they are going to the trash can. Read instructions on order next time and read up on flower meanings because Edmonton and Alberta, and Canada, have such a wide diversity of different people and different colors mean different things. BTW, I was not offered anything more than a sorry from the staff member. But even if she could do anything about it, damage done in many many ways with this delivery. (see below). Such a shame. The flowers were really beautiful. *** I haven't had flowers delivered for a long time and read the good reviews about Petals for Less, plus they had a novelty vase that wasn't available anywhere for that price. So a good price and something that was meaningful to my friend. Flowers sent on time, no complaints. BUT unfortunately, Petals for Less is using a driver with no brain. I specified that the delivery venue is an office. It is not only an office, it is a government institution. When the driver went in during lunch hour, I was told that he was 'upset' that my friend was not there to receive the flowers so that he could sing Happy Birthday. He proceeded to drop off the flowers with the office manager but advised not only the office manager but my friend's supervisor, etc. etc., that they HAD TO SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY to him when he got back from lunch. He left lyrics and insisted on it. Pretty soon, the whole office knew...and when my friend came back, he was badly surprised to a rousing edition of Happy Birthday by his office including his supervisor. Instead of a good surprise, it became a very bad surprise. Did the driver have no sense at all? It's a work place. Even if he had been there for the delivery, you should NOT sing happy birthday. Would it have been too much to ask to just leave the flowers with a staff member and left it at that? I did not ask for this service. It was not mentioned anywhere on the website. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. If anyone else decides to use Petal for Less, please tell them that you do not want their delivery driver singing anything if you don't want to cause major embarrassment. I know it's not the fault of Petal for Less as this is a 3rd party delivery service...hope they tell him not to do that again.

I came in looking for flowers to redo the butterfly enclosure for my grandma's 90th birthday. They were extremely helpful in getting me the dried flowers I wanted to build this. They made an old lady extremely happy to have her favorite butterfly surrounded by such beautiful flowers that will last a very long time!

Had to get a flower arrangement (on a long weekend) for my mother's birthday. There was so many beautiful arrangements to pick from. My mother loved her flowers. These flowers traveled from Edmonton to the cottage and on to Calgary. The quality and freshness was evident as this arrangement lasted 27 days. I recommend this shop to everyone.
