I called Westney Road South location directly, not FTD or Teleflora. I needed a same-day delivery, the woman on the phone was very nice and took my order and had it delivered it right away. I paid $185.26 CN for the "Roman Holiday" bouquet and I felt the arrangement was a bit light. The florist offered to send another bouquet, but I decided not to "upset the apple cart" and took a store credit instead.

When the order didn't arrive exactly as requested, I contacted them and Jeffrey immediately responded and offered to exchange the flowers that were delivered, in order to meet my satisfaction. At a busy time like Mother's Day, not only did he respond in a timely manner, but he resolved the matter the same day. I will continue to use this location for all of my future deliveries in Durham. I used to frequent the old location (off Harwood road), and found that the older lady who was working there was extremely helpful and kind. However, recently I had a horrible experience with the manager (Philip) and the overall customer service. I had placed an order for some flowers (roses and lilies) and a day before I was to pick them up (a day before Christmas) I was phoned and told the flowers (lilies) were damaged during transportation and they offered to replace the ordered flowers with another type. When I arrived to pick them up there was no apology or credit given to me (I know the flowers I received costs less than the ones I paid for). I have no issue with this, since as I mentioned, I used to frequent them throughout the year. Two days later, the flowers that were given to me in lieu of the ones I ordered (lilies) were dead and the other flowers were alive and well. I had phoned them on the Monday after Christmas and new years to see what could be done about the situation. I was told by the manager that I was too late and should have called them the week before (during Christmas week) and told them about the issue. I was given the option to either go pick up replacement flowers by the end of the day or be out of luck. I agreed to pick them up but once I found I would be unable to get to their store in time, I called them back to speak to a representative and see if I could get a store credit towards my next purchase. I was told at this point that it wasn't an option and they would only give me replacement lilies today. I phoned back to speak to the manager and let him know that I wasn't happy and that regardless of the situation I wouldn't be a returning customer any more. When trying to explain my position on the matter (flowers ordered were damaged and replacement ones died within two days), he began to argue with me and said that flowers are like carrots and I cannot return them a week later; at no point was I looking to return my dead flowers. Completely appalled at the fact that a store manager would argue to a client over the phone and that a credit, for an item they would have given me today, couldn't be put forward to my next purchase. I hope you have a better experience than I did. - Never returning again.

They do not live up to their expectations!! Was guaranteed a delivery by noon...Never happened!!! When I called to see why, I was given some excuse about 2 people had called in sick. Blah Blah Blah. The guy on the phone couldn't care less. Had such a lackadaisical attitude. When I said that if he would of called me in the morning, when they knew they couldn't fulfill my request so that I could have cancelled & ordered from somewhere else, he was extremely quick to just cancel my order! NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Wouldn't use them again nor would I recommend them either!

Met them at a wedding show at Deer Creek in January 2018. They booked us for a meeting in April saying we only get a $20 gift card if we book within the spring of 2018. We agreed but we explained we have not set the date but we're looking for 2019-2020 wedding dates. They said no problem. Met with Scott who was fantastic (I would've given 1 star were it not for Scott). Received a quote much later than we were told but that is okay. Received the quote (delivery fee included) with an email asking us to confirm our date and letting us know the prices may change for 2018. We responded asking for them to add roses and more corsage pins (not for the same price - obviously it would be more) and confirmed our wedding date. No response. I wrote them an email yesterday asking if they wanted to meet with us to price out our new additions. Got a response saying they cannot deliver on our wedding date and for us to pick it up in Pickering, they cannot confirm the price as it is a year out, and they re-sent the same contract as if I am illiterate with none of the additions I asked for showing us they don't pay attention or care to pay attention. Thank God they showed their true colours before we gave them any money. At no point did we nitpick about the price or the service nor did we have an attitude with them. We loved the quote and the information Scott provided us and we let Scott know. I responded to their email with a scathing email of my own letting them know due to their unprofessional behaviour we would not be using their service (for events or personal) nor referring them to others.

So disappointing. We chose this florist through McEachnie Funeral Home. To her credit, the funeral director did tell us it was our choice to go elsewhere for funeral flowers and now I wish I had've. The arrangements we chose in the book had sunflowers. The arrangements that arrived had gerber daisies. Okay, I get there is always a possibility of substitution because of the season but c'mon who doesn't have sunflowers in October! It seemed like it was slapped together with no care or attention to detail. Find another florist. On the up side McEachnie's was great - if I were them I would distance myself from Reeds.

I have ordered flowers from a florist who apparently had retired, so Reed's took over her clients. My past experience with the original owner was great, so I assumed I would get the same quality. I ordered a dozen carnations for my wife to be delivered to her office and she was very disappointed in the quality. They were placed in a box, separately with no babies breath or set in a boquet. I am very dissatisfied with this and will never use Reed's again, plus they were more expensive !!!

I called Reed's as I forgot to add something to a gift card, I was attaching to the flower arrangement. They were so helpful I was impressed. Two days later the order was delivered. I was PERFECT! Not only did the flower arrangement look like the photo (from on-line) it was even better (not sure how they did that because the on-line photo was great! It's a work of art!!!!! I ordered 3 orders of flowers. 2 going out on Mother’s Day, one a few days before. I purchased two of the ‘starter’ florist picks (one Mother’s Day, one the few days before) and than the ‘little bit more’. The ‘little bit more’ was for my mom on Mother’s Day. I understand they are busy, and the extra charge is because of the Mother’s Day delivery. However I paid $80 for flowers that were worth maybe $20. I could have gotten flowers from the grocery store for a better price. I will be now only be supporting local business as I am very disappointed in Reed’s Florist. The flowers that were the ‘starters’ were way better than what I paid $80 for. The selection of flowers for both ‘starters’ were way nicer than my moms. Even though they were delivered on the same day. Very upset. Also not the first time we’ve been disappointed but thought I would give them another chance. The first picture is the starter. The second is the $80 flowers. They also died within 2 days and the one white rose in the display was already dead when they arrived. The stems were also but very short. Only got excuses when calling to ask why this is what I received.

Terrible service. Was sent flowers and when they came by we weren’t home at the time. I had asked them to come by in the evening and they came by earlier than expected and left a note. When I called they wouldn’t deliver it again. I had to go and pick up the flowers and wasted my time on my birthday. Terrible service and they were not understanding at all.

UPDATE: previously left a 1-star review for the bouquet. The owner contacted me and exchanged the flowers for another. Customer service is important to me, so I changed it from a 1 to a 3 star. Personally, I would not order from Reed's in the future. The arrangements are dated, I enjoy supporting local business and don't mind paying a premium (spent $90 before tax), but in return I expect something impressive that I wouldn't find in a big box store. The arrangements I received definitely had a "Walmart/grocery store" feel to them. I've ordered plenty of flower bouquets from local businesses before, so this is based on my previous experiences. Advice: invest in updated floral design courses. Reed's is a family run business, if you want longevity, you'll need to update your style and offer something that stands out. 1 star for the bouquets/arrangements, 5 stars for customer service.

I recently ordered two large funeral arrangements. After visiting the Oshawa Centre location they directed me to view the flowers online and call head office in Ajax to convey my wishes. I spoke directly to the Ajax store the next morning after deciding on just the right sprays. The first one I ordered was a casket spray called Red Rose Reverence. I bumped it up to the deluxe version and only asked to add small white accents into it. When I saw it at the funeral, it was not what was pictured online. It was supposed to be filled with ivy and red roses and carnations only. Instead it had no ivy but large palm leaves, and although it did had red roses and carnations, they included dull red lilies which I did not like. The second spray I asked for was called Magnificent Life Spray and asked to keep it as is but to change out the colour to pink roses and pink accents. It had no pink roses whatsoever in it. I even confirmed that they had all the correct supplies and there would be no substitutions. I was very disappointed in my order to say the least. Your apology falls short as your facts are incorrect. I asked to change out the white and green colour flowers of the standing spray to pink roses and complimentary colours of which there was not one pink rose in the entire spray, they were white roses. Also the casket spray was to be exactly as shown except for my request to add a small amount of baby's breath to it. You did not ask me for approval to substitute the ivy for palm leaves or add lilies to it.

I am from Pickering but because of COVID chose to pick up half a dozen black roses at their Ajax location. One of the few florists that offer this selection, the whole experience was nothing short of AMAZING and well worth the quick drive. From using their website, to ordering on the phone and the very quick and efficient socially distanced pick up process - it was so seamless and EASY! I was blown away, everyone was so pleasant and professional. I usually am weary of ordering flower delivery because of missed timelines and care, but from this experience, I'm sure Reed's Florists flower delivery will be amazing as well when I do use them next! I have to say I found Reed's through the internet, and of course, had a certain amount of trepidation in ordering. HOWEVER, they exceeded my expectations. They were efficient in the order through the website, and I didn't have to speak to anyone, and I was able to upsize the arrangement through the website without issue. They emailed me confirmation about the order being received, and sent a note went the order was going out, and a note when the flower arrangement was delivered. The best part is that the receiver of the flowers was very wonderfully thrilled with the choice of flowers and arrangement, and send a beautiful photo of the arrangement. All is all, I was very, very satisfied, and Reed's was extremely efficient, painless to deal with, and delivered everything as promised efficiently and beautifully. I would highly recommend anyone to use them and won't hesitate to use them again!!! Well done!!

Awful customer service - I would never complain except the card specifically said let us know as we guarantee service. I called Reed's to let them know the $40 long stem roses I was given by my boyfriend had died after only 3 days. Reeds said I had to BRING THE FLOWERS BACK! I was in Scarborough and I would have to pack up the soaking wet flowers and drive to Ajax just so they could dispose of them?? Terrible customer service - guarantee not provided and rude on the phone, Iet them know I would never be returning and would advise any one else not to waste their money there.

I called Reed's on Dec 21st after being told by a local florist in Whitby that I used for years that it was too late to order a Christmas arrangement for delivery to my aunt in Italy.
