Such a cute place and such great service! I wish I had taken a picture of the bouquet they had put together for me. The atmosphere is nice and the people who work there are very kind and helpful and are good at what they do. I'm so glad I found such a nice flower shop nearby! They have plants in tea cups and in distressed boxes and they aren't overly expensive and it's all good quality. Definately a place to keep in mind when you're looking for a nice gift!

I ordered over a dozen white roses from them and specifically told him to remove all green leaves and cut them short. I went to pick up my flowers and ohh boy the disappointment because the flowers were all Turing brown and they left a bunch of leaves that I asked to cut. Also I asked the lady if they sell off white ribbon and she lied to me saying they don’t have it anymore!! I started complaining and all the ladies that work there came to me and starting yelling at me and I told them back off and I don’t need all of you to come and yell and that one person is enough to deal with this problem. They are so unprofessional a bunch of old ladies and has no manners. I will not recommend this place at all!!!

Poor service and all around bad experience. Upon ordering online I received confirmation regarding Delivery, however, a couple hours later I was sent an email stating delivery was canceled and I would have to have the flowers delivered the next day(today being Valentine's day) I called Jean's immediately and was told that the flowers I had ordered were not completely in stock, also the balloons I had ordered were not in stock as well. The employee on the phone told me she could put the balloon cost and put a little extra in the arrangement, I agreed, I also had to pick the flowers up myself and due to my schedule, i ended up having to bring my wife up to the store, where she ended up being asked to pay for the arrangement a second time until the employee realized I had already paid completely. And let's not forget to mention the over priced lack luster arrangement that only semi resembles the picture on the website. Very, very disappointing experience. Will not be using them in the future.

The price is reasonable considering the arrangements are absolutely stunning. I've used Jean's twice now and have to say I appreciate everything they do. You do have to be patient, as I was not the one day - you will receive your delivery for when you asked but the time won't be perfect as clearly they are busy. The best place for flowers, just stunning creations.

I went to the shop today to buy flowers for my mothers birthday, the service we got was amazing. We were helped by small female with long hair with curls. She was great asked the price range I wanted to stay in made my fiance and I feel vary comfortable, helped me pick the flower and made a beautiful bouquet. We had a wonderful experience except for one thing. I don't know if it was the manager or what but she was talking down to the lady we were working with and was not nice at all. She was rude and made the experience bad. She was not nice, friendly, or porfessional. She needs to change her attitude and be nicer. Both my fiancé and I both agree that her questioning and demeanour was uncalled for and un professional. I will come back to get more flowers and be helped by the same young lady becuase she was so helpful and awesome. The older lady, most likely in a manager position, has power issues and needs to be way more professional and get over herself. So I want to thank the young woman who helped us. She was great and I will be more then happy to come back and buy the bouquets for my wedding from the same lady who helped us out today.

Jeans always has beautiful fresh cut flowers, baskets and bouquets ready to purchase if your in a jam. Custom bouquets are just so creative and breathtaking. Ive used them to supply many funerals in my family as well as a wedding and a shower. They do run a bit higher in price but these people are flower professionals so its worth every dime. They didnt get an order exact once and the blew me away with how they made up for it. I trust that whatever I use them for they will pull through. Than you for all your hard work and effort.

I remember this flower shop from when I was a kid living in Hamilton waiting in line for free flowers. My bestfriend had lost a furry family member and I wanted to send a bouquet to her and remember this shop! I am so happy I did, WOW I mean really wow! You get your money's worth, usually I feel very underwhelmed by the bouquets of flowers I see when I send to family/friends not this time. I cannot believe the size of the bouquet! Highly recommend!

I recently ordered 2 arrangements for my grandmothers funeral. When I selected the arrangements online I wanted them to be complimentary but not the same. Unfortunately when I saw them, although the colours were different the style of both arrangements were too similar and one was not reminiscent of what I had ordered. Despite not being able to get in touch with someone on Sunday night, and no answering machine, I got in touch with them first thing Monday morning and they rectified the situation and provided a new arrangement which complimented the first one and looked much more like the picture I had ordered from. There were no questions asked and no excuses made to justify the arrangement. The customer service I received made an already difficult situation a little better by providing a beautiful tribute to my grandmother. Thank you very much.

Always a pleasure to deal with. I often order online however as it was a planter I was ordering I wanted to go in and pick it out myself. The selection there is incredible. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The planter I picked out was beautiful. Their prices are quite reasonable.

Jean’s Flower Shop is an extremely professional establishment, offering amazing service and superb arrangements and quality! I was extremely satisfied with my order. I had originally ordered an arrangement for Mother’s Day, set to be delivered to my Mums's house (the arrangement in the brown basket). Unfortunately once the arrangement arrived, many of the flowers were already browned, and within 2 days many had died or fallen off. After the unfortunate mishap with the original arrangement, I had contacted Jean’s Flower Shop and they were quick to reply and send out a replacement arrangement (the arrangement in the white basket) free of charge, no questions asked, within the following day. The new arrangement is absolutely STUNNING! They look and smell absolutely beautiful, and pieced together so wonderfully. Excellent customer service and professionalism! I went on the site and ordered the paradise bouquet $100.00 I received an email stating they don't have those.on stock (not sure why advertise it when you don't have them at this time of year). This is the third year my bf has went to Jeans, the first year my roses lasted just over a week. But the past 2 times my roses have died within 3 DAYS!!!! When I went to change the water I realized a good 14-16 roses had broken stems and over half the roses looked like they broke them or cut them with dull scissors, looked very rushed, for the price he paid you’d think they would take their time! Very disappointed and will not be going back!

While we've had beautiful bouquets from Jean's in the past, this arrangement was a huge let down. I ordered red roses with baby's breath for my wife's birthday. When they came, they arrived with no baby's breath, roses that were already very much open, and half eaten leaves. A call was made and they happily replaced them and added the baby's breath. The unfortunate part was that this second group of roses wasn't much better. This bunch was closed, and never really did open up, and they're now turning black and wilted. Also no fragrance at all. Very disappointed.

I will give a 0 star if this option is available. Most ridiculous experience with a florist ever! No respect to the customer's requirements and very bad attitude towards costumers. I ordered flowers for my wife on Valentine's Day and put "Please deliver between 1 pm to 5 pm and call the recipient before delivery" in the delivery instruction. Nobody was at home after 5 pm and that's why I put it in the instruction for online order. However, my wife waited for the entire afternoon and there was no delivery and no call. When I tried to call them, it was transferred to voicemail automatically. I then went to their location to check, even though we were really late for the restaurant appointment. The women we talked to was incredibly rude and there was no apology at all. I will say never try this florist if you have other choices.

Personally, I don't trust the "as shown" , "better" and "best" options when ordering online. I ordered a flower arrangement and chose the "best" option and it looked worse than the "as shown" option when I received it. I called the shop immediately and spoke with Debbie. We chose Jean's Flower Shop for our wedding this past July after hearing so many positive things about them. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed the days prior to our wedding and the day of. We were assured that nothing would go wrong - calling to confirm the delivery times 2 days before the big day, the address they had written down was wrong. Our consultant never seemed to be available when we called, so it seemed like our messages providing delivery times and locations were getting lost. The flowers all arrived on time of the day, but were of poor quality. By the end of the ceremony all of the boutineers had fallen apart and one of the corsages had also broken. Arriving at the reception we were extremely unhappy with our centerpieces. They were tall vases that were supposed to be full with babies breath and somewhat circular in shape. Only maybe 3 of the 11 centerpieces resembled anything close to the pictures we had provided them with. The rest were much smaller and the babies breath was sporadic and had many holes in the arrangement itself. I just wanted to share how upset we were so that no one else feels as disappointed as we did on what was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives.

In was in a pinch because an order I placed with an online florist got messed up on the day it was supposed to be delivered. This was one of those gifts for which timing was really important. I called Jean's Flower Shop in a panic to get a same-day delivery and they came through for me even though it was a really busy day for them. I should mention that if you need something the same day, best to call before 10am. Thank you so much for squeezing my order in. I'm grateful and I now have a new favorite florist in Hamilton!

I have purchased from Jean's Flower Shop twice since moving to Hamilton, both times during the pandemic. Their curb-side pick-up system that they have in place is both very simple and convenient. I purchased one of their weekly arrangement's for my wife and daughter last week. Unfortunately the roses started wilting rather quickly, when my wife had called in to check if she had done anything wrong, they just mentioned that it was a normal progress, but delivered some new flowers to our house so our daughter could enjoy them longer. Customer service is absolutely tremendous, would highly recommend!

Ordered about a half dozen times now and have been very pleased with each order, typically hydrangeas and light roses. Wife always loves them. Prices are very reasonable especially on Valentine's Day! You just need to know what you want. I always pick up as the delivery is in blocks of time (i.e. am vs pm) kind of like the internet/cable companies so a bit unreliable in that sense. Will be back though because the quality is there.

Been going to jeans for years for all my occasions spending atleast 50$ everytime im in there. The flowers are always fantastic and last quite awhile. I purchased a bouquet for my fiances bridal shower and they were completely dead in a few days. Was told they only guarantee flowers for 3 days lol would of been better off going to metro. My mother contacted me and was THRILLED with the beautiful flowers that Debbie had delivered to her today. Debbie, I want to thank you so very much for your attention to this issue and for correcting it in such a timely manner and in such a lovely way. Thank you. Tara :) Posted: 6/22/16 - Thinking I was purchasing a nice basket of violets with ribbon for my Mother recovering in hospital I ordered from Jean's Flower Shop on-line. I even upgraded from the standard to the "best" option available for additional cost of course. I spent $72 including delivery and taxes for what must have had a base cost of $5. Literally! The dollar store basket with a metre of dollar store ribbon, contained 4 African violets which - at best - must have cost $1 each, needed watering and had broken leaves on it. Do yourself the favour and go to Fortinos or Zehrs and buy a nice spray or basket of flowers for $25. Silly me for thinking that this would be the better option.

My boyfriend ordered flowers for my birthday as a surprise well guess who calls me by accident and basically tells me my boyfriend made arrangements. Yup JEANS FLOWER SHOP. Once I told the lady that she called me (the girlfriend where the flowers were going to) the lady said “I’m sorry I think I got the wrong number” and hung up like come on you said my boyfriends name and it showed on caller ID where you were calling from. Anyway I felt really bad for my boyfriend I didn’t tell him until the next day because I felt like he tried to do something nice and they ruined it. He was pretty upset. On top of it still charged him full price didn’t do anything extra to make up for ruining my surprise. Very unprofessional. Don’t make the phone number mandatory to the sender if your going to just call and ruin people’s surprises. Anyway thanks for a great birthday surprise Jeans flowers! I Do not recommend this service.

A lovely woman called me and explained that they didn’t have enough purple flowers for the midsummer arrangement and asked if she could make it more pink instead, which is totally fine. Everything turned out stunning and my mother loved both.

Flower arrangements were nice but if i didn't select the "better" option, I doubt I would have been satisfied. The delivery method/plan needs to be revised as well. My flower was the last one to be delivered although I selected a flower shop that was close to the recipient. My order was only 1 basket with a balloon. Anyway, the delivery was so late that the surprise ended up being ruined. These people have good reviews, and flowers are nice but I highly recommend going elsewhere if you would like your flowers delivered. I never set foot in the store so I can't comment on any interpersonal skills or experiences. Edited Dec 7 Bump up to 3 Stars because the flower arrangement scored be some good points last night and secondly, the florist contacted me with an explanation. I still think the delivery could have been better.

My wife and family member visited Jean's Flower shop at 509 Upper Wellington Street in Hamilton Ontario two weeks ago and placed over 15 orders of flower arrangements for a funeral, the flowers were delivered on time and were in excellent condition and top quality, and most important was the services provided by Jennifer the coordinator and designer at Jean's, Jennifer was knowledgeable, kind, understanding and extremely helpful. Ordered from here a few times, nice arrangements but terrible delivery methods. Wanted an arrangement delivered for an anniversary on a Sunday, still hasn't been delivered and there's been no explanation or apology by the staff and it's Monday. "The driver left a note" isn't a good enough when there were people home to accept the order and two telephone numbers to call as well. Completely avoid having them deliver the arrangement(s) for you. Much better off going and getting it yourself. Extremely disappointing.

Thursday July 18 is my 21st wedding anniversary and I called to order some flowers to be delivered to my wife. The lady or female I spoke to in the morning took the time to listen to what I wanted to be delivered, without seeing the arrangement that was delivered at the time, I just went with it and didn't know what to expect. But when I got home later that afternoon, wow, did they deliver for me! It was a fabulous arrangement and even I loved it. Great job Jean's flower shop, I will surely be back.

Purchased flowers for a funeral. over the phone for a family funeral. Thought I was overcharged when I saw what arrived at the funeral home. I was very disappointed. When I went in to discuss this with them and to ask for a receipt for the purchase they told me it was never put in the computer and the woman became very defensive. The woman, I think her name being Jennifer offered to print me a receipt but absolutely refused to give me an original receipt for my flowers. Which proved the point that I was overcharged by a woman named Helen working for the flowershop. The salesperson came around the counter and blocked me from leaving, bullying me. I asked repeatedly to leave to which she finally moved aside. I couldnt believe this woman representing Jeans Flower Shop. I will be taking this further with a lawyer but this was my experience.

Terrible customer service...I ordered over the phone - a dozen boxed long stem pink roses with a nice pink bow, fern and tissue...that was how they were presented on their website...to be delivered - when they arrived they were wilted and lasted only 4 days - I called the store and then I sent two emails that they did not answer at all. Not only that - the flowers were $44.95 and I had a charge of $73.45 go through my charge card. I will never order from them again.

Terrible customer service. Myself and five other family members showed up to look for flowers for my grandfathers funeral. Nobody even acknowledged us for 20 minutes and they acted very surprised that we were there at all. When we ordered the flowers, we gave them plenty of notice for the funeral, telling them to show up at 11am (an hour before the service was to start) and the address with specific instructions on how to get there. The day of the service the flowers did not show up at 11 or even 12. I called them right before the service started and they were very rude and put me on hold. They showed up at 1:30, long after the funeral was finished, at the wrong address a street over, handing the flowers off to the first person they saw who claimed they were heading after the funeral themselves (luckily they actually were). Then they just took off without speaking to anyone in the family, no apologies or anything. When we called them about it the next day they said this sort of thing never happens which clearly isn’t true according to many of the other review on here I have read. They also had nerve to say no one probably noticed the lack of flowers at the funeral because a lot of people don’t get flowers for funerals nowadays anyway. The day was hard enough as it was without having to deal with terrible people like that. Myself, my family and friends will definitely not be shopping here again, nor do we recommend them.

I live in Windsor and we have relatives on my wife’s side in Hamilton. One of those relatives had heart surgery and we wanted to send a basket. After a good deal of searching online, I found Jean’s. I loved the look of the basket and it was directly at the price point I wanted to spend. I made an error on the card, called in the next day prior to delivery, and a very nice person was able to fix that over the phone without issue. Cannot recommend these folks enough. From the ease of the initial order to the very fast delivery, and the excellent customer service, I don’t think you’ll go wrong choosing Jean’s Flower Shop for your gift basket needs.

I have gotten many arrangements from Jeans and they have been lovely but the one I ordered to be delivered to my mom on mother's day came wilted, the rose petals were already turning brown on the edges. I paid for the best possible in price range and this is the first time I have been disappointed. The reason they got 3 instead of 1 is because the bouquet I picked up later that day was amazing.
