I recently got married. Before then I went to hills in search of some beautiful falls mums. I got out of my vehicle and with in a minute a young lady was ready to help me. She showed me the best flowers for the occasion. They were absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. I was so pleased. I am so glad I went to hills. The flowers were a major part of my wedding decor.

Hills florist is the only place I will go in southern Ontario for flower arrangements and special gifts for Mother’s Day. I took my boyfriend in for gifts for my mother, his mother and grandmother, and the lovely ladies at Hills were super accomodating, making a special carnation arrangement for my mother in a colour she prefers. Prices are decent; you get what you pay for—-quality and service. They even wrapped them so beautifully and put the angel statue we bought in a gift bag with paper for Nanny. Love Hills. Been going there for years. Highly recommend !

It's May 2020 and THE HILLS are alive!! Thank goodness. Full of home grown on site flowers and veggies and shrubbery OH MY. Everywhere we look we can tell that Roger fellow has been in there, just by the wonderful feel of the entire place and everything in it. And that rubs off on his crew too.

I ordered flowers for delivery from Hills Florist & Greenhouses. The arrangement was for an extended family members funeral. I was extremely disappointed, and embarrassed. They did not represent at all what was ordered or paid for. The flowers looked nothing like the photo advertised online, which I paid extra to Upgrade. I found this very poor business practice and extremely misleading. These flowers looked so bad sitting beside others ordered from other Lindsay Florists. This is my very 1st google Review, so beware. Do your research before ordering! Photos available upon request!

Nice place to pick up some flowers to take over to the cemetery across the street. Service is nice and friendly and the price is right. Parking is tricky and small. Watch out for the curb stands.

Ordered Heavenly hand tied bouquet to be delivered a day before Mother’s Day. Was supposed to be a mixture of fresh pink flowers, what came was a hodgepodge of flowers thrown together with every colour of the rainbow and huge and small flowers, and no pink (her favourite colour). Was embarrassed when receiver asked what “theme” the flowers were. She wasn’t going to put in water since she figured I would send them back. Beyond disappointing and not even an acknowledgement of the email I sent with my displeasure. Will not deal with again- $80 down the drain and bouquet looked like a 5 year old made it. I will send pictures if you even care to respond.

Bought spider plant that had thousands of bugs , scales on them. Found them on it when I took it home. I called to let them know. They said bring it back and get another one. So for the second time I went in gave them the buggy one looked at the others, they looked great. When I finally got to it later in the evening and pulling away dead under leaves I noticed for the second time it was full of scale. So for a second time I brought home a bug filled plant. So if you are buying from this centre please please be carful and check your plants better before purchasing here. It’s not worth infecting your other plants.

I called Hill's Florists 2 days before Mother's Day desperate to send my mom some beautiful flowers as the ones I had initially sent (from a different company) arrived rotten. They advised me that they were currently full for orders and that the flowers would likely arrive after Mother's Day but that they would try their best. THE NEXT DAY, my mom sent me a picture of the beautiful bouquet of flowers from Hill's Florists. Thank you so much for making it possible for my mom to have flowers on Mother's Day! I am beyond grateful! Hill's Florists truly care.

Hill's Florist is a great Lindsay business! The staff are very helpful and do their absolute best to be accommodating, professional and knowledgeable. Over the years, I have given and received many floral arrangements, plants etc. from this business. Their poinsettias at Christmas are beautiful and last forever, Sarah created a striking cake topper and centerpieces for a family birthday celebration, the roses are gorgeous, their gift shop has many lovely items and their greenhouse has great variety in the spring! I can also call them with a last minute request and they do their best to fulfill it - just did that today and was able to pick up my order in a couple of hours! Thanks, Hill's!

Established in Circa 1946 Hills Florist and Greenhouses remains to be one of the last true growers in the City of Kawartha Lakes. Decades of growing experience enables Roger Hill and his family to produce thousands of beautiful, healthy, and robust plants for all of your gardening needs. We have been a Hills’s customer since 1989...and we are always pleased with all of the plants ( annuals, perennials , herbs, shrubs and aquatic plants). If you have a question about any type of plant, tree, vegetable, herbs etc...just ask Roger....he knows it all!!! My most fondest memory of Hills Florist & Greenhouses was when we got married in our garden in August 1997. We had very little money to place on the guest tables or for the Bouquet for that matter but Roger was able to work within our budget and created the most elegant table arrangements and my bouquet was exquisitely designed with my favourite, Stargazer lilies ...it was so beautiful!!!! Thank you Roger for continuing to provide our City with the most beautiful plants and being available to answer all of our gardening questions for the last 28 years! What was once our favorite florist is NO MORE!! Awful Customer service. The lady hung up the phone and suggested I use another florist and went as far as giving names because I questioned their ridiculous delivery fee. It’s sad when you try to support local and they could care a less. Take your business where it’s appreciated— not worth it!!
