I visit Neil's Flowers every year. This year, I called them then sent an email with a list of the flowers that I wanted and went over to pick them up. Their flowers are always beautiful, but the friendly service, especially during a difficult time, was what prompted me to leave this review and recommend them.

Paid almost $200 for flowers for my wife on valentines day, with delivery...dozen long stem roses with bouquet. Ordered both and had them put together. When delivered I was extremely disappointed!!! Could have bought what was delivered at any loblaws for $20. Would not recommend ordering from here, and definitely will not return my business

We live in California but have been using Neil's Flowers for years as they have the best arrangements in Kingston, but just today was the topper. We needed flowers today for Mom's birthday and even though they were closed, the proprietor agreed to drop off an arrangement today, same day - personally! Where on earth do you still get that kind of caring, personal service?

My mother sent me flowers for my birthday, or so she thought. They sent me a basket of potted tropical plants instead. When she called to complain that she had ordered a bouquet of flowers, they insisted she was wrong and refused to do anything about it. Now I have a potted plant that I will be giving away because it is toxic to my cats and I have nowhere to put it. Very disappointing. Update: Neil's was kind enough to call me as soon as they saw this review. They explained that the order was taken by another florist through the FTD network and wired to them, so the error was not their fault. They provided a copy of the order they received, as proof. Still disappointing, but I cannot fault them for just fulfilling an order they received and I did appreciate the follow-up. I guess the takeaway is not to use the FTD network, as it appears expensive and unreliable.

Customer service and delivery was a complete disappointment. A friend had surprised me by sending flowers on my birthday, and I was made to feel like an inconvenience. No voicemail was left regarding the arrangement, and the exchange on the phone (when we finally did communicate) was rude and inconsiderate. Not the best vibe for a celebration.
