Typically when visiting a local store you would expect for a employee to stay hello and ask you if you need any help. When standing at a customer counter directly in front of 5 employees, you would expect someone to ask you if you need help. This was not my experience at this location. I stood at the customer counter for several minutes as multiple employees walked past me and did not acknowledge me. I eventually left the store without a single acknowledgement or purchase. I have lived in Georgetown for over 20 years and think that it is important to support local business. Unfortunately, you can only support those that want to be supported.

Just received a delivery of a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my mother's 60th birthday. We didnt realize that the bouquet came with red roses, after they were delivered... we had mentioned that we didn't expect red roses and if we could swap them out for white roses instead. The delivery driver returned and brought us five (5) white roses to replace the red ones FREE of charge. My mom absolutely LOVE the flowers. Thank you Vanderburgh Flowers. ????????❤

Everything I get from Vanderburghs is gorgeous. They did my wedding flowers years ago and I still get compliments on them. I get a Christmas centrepiece every year, and stop in for a bouquet once and a while. I've always had friendly service too!

I have ordered many times from Leanne and her staff but my last interaction with her was by far the best. I had to order a last minute gift on behalf of my employer. Leanne went the extra mile to even hand write the (very long) birthday greeting to make the gift that much more personal. Funeral Flowers were such a huge disappointment. My dad passed away and we went with the best florist in town. We've been using their services for 20 years. We spent over $500 for 2 wreath arrangements. They were the smallest arrangements amongst all the others. The flowers looked wilted and they didn't "pop" like all the other arrangements that were there. We complained to the owner, but she did nothing except apologize that were disappointed.

I have only ever used Vanderburgh flowers, 27 years now. From flowers to their amazing boutique. I love the one of a kind items and the clothes, they have are so comfortable and beautiful. This is a business that has been built from the ground up with honesty and pure dedication and such hard work. Being now in this third wave we NEED to keep supporting local, these ladies (men) deserve a huge shout out for always going above and beyond and staying late because someone's family member has just died, they spend the extra time to make every detail perfect, especially now when you can't even mourn the way you should be able to. I just felt the need to praise this family business as so many people are negative and try to damage places of livelihood by writing one sided stories! Keep up the wonderful work and you will continue to have all of my business curb side too ????

Very disappointed with the arrangement that was sent by Vanderburgh Flowers. It was not as ordered. They advertise 100% satisfaction guaranteed. However, when we called them about it, we were treated rudely and with disrespect. Their customer service is terrible, and we would never use them again.

The quality and customer service has certainly declined over the years. Disappointed with the freshness, selection and responsiveness. I thought it was just a few "hiccups", but now I have had to move on to another florist and have been getting much higher quality flowers with better service.

Ordered a birthday arrangement for my daughters 28th birthday for the 28 th of September to be delivered to her workplace, during working hour 9-5, driver picked up at 10 am, paid extra for delivery to Bolton, driving is calling her phone when she is at home ( Bradford ) at 6:30! Thanks for making her champagne birthday just a little bit more terrible during Covid! This is unacceptable!

Ordered an arrangement a few days ago for a funeral service . It was not at all what was ordered . Was supposed to have cheerful , flowering spring bulbs , had no flowers except a couple of small African violets . Called shop the following day , explained the situation , she was apologetic and said they would send out a new arrangement the next day . NOT so . Received a call from owner or manager the next day , saying the arrangement was good and had some hyacinths in it that would be flowering in a few weeks . Kind of defeats the purpose , I would think . She finally said that if I would tell my brother ( father of the deceased ) to bring the arrangement back to the shop , she would , maybe fix it . Obviously , I was very upset , at this suggestion . She was very insensitive and could not have cared less about the situation . Insinuated that if we had spent more than the $100 , we would have got a beautiful arrangement . Then said , they had been in business for forty years , nothing I could do , and hung up on me . I have never been treated so poorly and with such lack of compassion for the situation

Short story is that I spent $175 for a wilted arrangement. The owner was argumentative, antagonistic, and dismissive. There was no acknowledgement of our concerns and no apology. So disappointed that a local business would be so dismissive of a frequent customer. Save your money and go elsewhere.

First time ordering here as I needed to send some flowers to a friend in georgetown (I don't live in the area). Found this place and ordered a flower arrangement they had on line. Flowers were delivered same day and they were beautiful and did not forget any other items I ordered, like some flower shops. Will def order from here again!

The flowers were fresh, delivered on time and well arranged but not what I’d ordered which was a disappointment. I ordered over the phone and the person I spoke to seemed to understand what was required ( I even directed her to a bunch on the web site) but instead of the pastel spring flowers ordered my daughter received a bunch which contained bright pink flowers. However she still enjoyed the arrangement.

Really great. Ordered Valentine’s Day flowers for my mom and it came with roses and Lily’s, all flowers were extremely fresh, and two weeks later it’s still blooming. Will definitely be using them going forward.
