Unique gifts, great service, beautiful flowers

I was originally going to buy a plant for a new widow, online and have it delivered. The day of delivery, everything that was arranged kept changing so I canceled the order and was very disappointed and upset. I'm so happy I physically went to Smith's to see what they could do for me. It turned out they were the ones originally doing my order, BUT the representative from the online company told me a lot of info that was incorrect! Smith's was trying to bend over backwards to help, but the representative made me think we were getting something that was less than acceptable. In the end, I bought exactly what I wanted, was shown several different options AND with superior service! It turned out they still had my card with our condolences on it and was placed on the plant! I will continue using them for my floral needs. The plant is absolutely beautiful, and much bigger than the online company explained. This is the picture before they shined up the leaves and added moss to the pot, but still beautiful!

I give smith’s a three star review not on its service whatsoever. The people whom I called were professional, kind, and efficient at their jobs. I was very happy to do business with them. Unfortunately the bouquet I ordered was less impressive as the service I received. The were more fillers in the bouquet then there were flowers. Five roses, three Lilly’s, and the rest were fillers. For $120 dollars I really am unimpressed. It was ordered on Tuesday and it’s only Saturday and wilting. I appreciates the service I received but the bouquet left with much to be desired.

5+ Stars - Excellent! The flowers that were sent to the funeral home for my precious Aunt were absolutely beautiful. Every flower arrangement that Smith’s prepared for her was spectacular. My aunt loved flowers, my only request when I placed the order, was to make it beautiful. They knew exactly who I was placing the order for and and understood what I wanted. They were such a help to me during this difficult time. I wasn’t quite sure what type of flowers to send I just knew I wanted something very nice. Smith’s Florist exceeded my expectations. A great big thank you to everyone there at Smith’s for being so kind and for preparing these beautiful arrangements.

I ordered flowers for my aunt's 90th birthday. I told the lady what I wanted and gave a $100 dollar budget. Should have been quite nice. When my cousin sent the picture of what was sent, it looked like a Costco $19.99 bouquet. I called to try to get a partial refund and got nowhere. They said the flowers were exotic and the vase was nice. Neither were true. Should have gone to Costco and saved $80. Do not use this florist!!! On a positive note, the lady who took my order initially was friendly.

I live in Minnesota and I wanted to send flowers to friends in VA. Everyone I spoke to (long distance) at Smith's was so friendly and helpful. I'm big on customer service, and they definitely did a great job! They went back and fourth with me via email/phone about when was the right time to deliver and held the order while I figured everything out. They were great!!!!

I like to try to support local business and went with this florist on the strength of their reviews. First photo is what I ordered for my staff member’s 5th anniversary. The 2nd photo is what she actually received. I went on Smith’s website again and looked at what was comparable to what they actually made, and it looked most similar to their $49.99 arrangements. I asked for the difference in what I spent vs. what Smith’s produced. I was given $20 less than that back as a credit. I was told that the arrangement had “the correct number of flowers” but had not been arranged properly. I have arranged flowers before. If I took the flowers in the arrangement Smith’s made and arranged them the same as the picture on their website, it would be much smaller than the website arrangement. Consumers shouldn’t have to go through this when ordering flowers for delivery. If it looks a certain way on the website, that’s what should be produced. I’m glad I got any credit at all but I wish that Smith’s had simply produced the arrangement I paid for. There would’ve been no issue. Disappointing.
