Well laid out store; however, we came at 7pm and there was literally no one there to answer some simple questions for us. The two employees that were there to basically only cash people out and wrap flowers told us that the manager was sleeping and was unavailable. Seriously. Never coming back here.

Edit 2: Wow! I gave a one star so people will notice and see the review. Some people may know it’s only decorative, but I know several are not aware, such as myself when I first visited. Literally googling it will reveal that people have confusion regarding these flowers. I complimented everything else aside from these plants. It doesn’t seem really nice to shame your customers for honest and informative reviews. There are other small businesses like Bulow Garden Centres that are nice, and do things properly. Do better. Edit: In response to the owner, I would like to make a few extra points. Firstly, most customers will not be aware that the straw flower has been glued on, and since the practice is done solely as a decorative manner to sell more product, it is fraudulent in nature. I wanted to bring it to the attention of those that are otherwise unaware. Plant enthusiasts who would rather support a local greenhouse than Home Depot expect you to do better than supporting wholesalers who engage in hot gluing their cacti. It’s important to have respect for your practice and your plants. Just an FYI regarding the cacti - many of them were in great condition, but we found that most of the ones with flowers actually had the flower glued on top of the cactus by what appeared to be hot glue. Be weary of that. The staff are nice and their other plants are generally nice.

We've been here over ????+ times... The place has been great, we love to visit this place, the 4 love birds in cage add a nice view to the inside... The prices are reasonable... I read a few other reviews and I don't necessary agree with them, if you buy live plants and they die you can't hold the place/owner/business accountable. We have had plants that died and we bought them again and learned from our mistakes... One thing I do recommend is to check the plants before you buy, as others who have touched it before you could have damaged it, but the cashiers will tell you immediately if anything looks unusual with your picks. Overall is this a good place to visit 365 days/year.

May 09, 2020 10:00 am I follow the que and was able to get inside the store with the assistance of the crew members. As a regular customer I started going to the areas where I usually pick up my plants. I met this old guy at the entrance and yells at me and push my cart out without giving me an instruction yelling " if you dont go out I will get you leave" The other guy was nice and came to me and told me to wait for 5 minutes because they are still doing something. This is how this guy in this store acting today. Bad customer service. I spend lots of money on plants in this greenhouse because I sell them online and this place is the most accessible for me. But i was totally disappointed!

The staff was very nice and wrapped my big plant in a nice way. It’s near my place. Me and my mom always go there to get everything we need for garden. The soil is cheap and sold in big bags. Reasonable price and they have all selection of plants and they are all taken good care of. I once went to a big green house near lakeshore and everything over there is overpriced compared to this one. Supporting local business!

The girls there would not take my order (even though I know they take orders, I've done it before) and kept insisting I come back a day before I need the flowers to place an order (when the prices are higher because they go up for Mother's Day). We bought a $53 tree for my Mom for her birthday. After 1 week my dad told me it had died. My dad is no beginner when it comes to plants so it seemed the tree may have had issues from the start. We took it back to the store. The girl at the counter said she needed to get the manager (owner?). We were very polite to the girl and were not looking to make a scene or anything. We also said that we didn't want a refund, just store credit. We figured this was fair since we didn't have the original receipt, but did have the store's tag still on the plant along with a credit card statement confirming the purchase. Manager shows up and as I'm saying "Hi" he jumps right to the chase with "you didn't water this, and don't tell me any differently". We were shocked with his brash, defensive opener without even letting us explain. He refused to do anything for us as he claimed the issues were 100% my parent's fault for not watering. My dad told me he watered a day or two after we got it, plus there was at least one other rainy day after that as well. Manager said it needed water every single day while it was in the pot and not the ground. (If that was so critically important then maybe it's something that the staff should have been trained on and able to tell us.) Even say he was 100% correct and it wilted to nothing after a couple days between waterings, it does not excuse the way he spoke to us. After reading some of the other reviews on Google and Yelp I feel better knowing we are not the only ones that had this type of experience. We love our neighbourhood and do our best to support local business, but next time we will go to Costco, Home Depot, Metro etc. for our gardening needs. That extra customer service is what makes you choose the independent place over the big box store, but this experience soured us well beyond ever going back here.

Terrible Service. Bought "fresh" cut flowers that wilted within 72 hours. When I went to the greenhouse to tell them I was told to return with the actual flowers. I returned the next day and was told quite rudely by the owner that they only would do something if it was within 48 hours. I told them it began at 72 hours and was told "that is more than 48 hours." I explained that I went to the greenhouse rather then a grocery store as I expected my flowers to last and even Loblaws has a 7 day guarantee, to which the owner replied to that I should go to Loblaws then if I wanted that kind of guarantee. I told him that I was very disappointed by his rudeness and he finally stated that his business was doing quite well and would continue to do so without my business. Don't go if you want fresh flowers or customer service!

Great variety of products (plants, flowers) but staff have no clue what plants they sell and what are the common ones that are in Ontario households. They don't recognize the plants when showed on web even when they do carry/have same plants on location. You need to know what you are going to buy and why when visiting this place. Don't count on staff!

I love this place, price is fair compare to other garden center, small but have lots of variety, especially for your backyard edible gardening. They have all sorts of plants. The only thing I find frustrating is parking. Since there's such limited parking. If you plan to buy lots and bringing your car to it, perhaps visit when it's least crowded. I see customers go around the neighborhood's road to park on the street.

A great place for all your gardening needs. The box store staff is never available and sometimes not that helpful. The stuff here is all local and the staff helpful and knowledgeable. Friendly folks all around and open even in fall and winter as well I think. The prices are reasonable and you can be in and out in no time. The also have a lot stones and tiles if you need and the guys even on that are very helpful and will load stuff in your car if too heavy

The staff are extremely rude. I have been in the store many times and have never been greeted or spoken to in a friendly fashion. We have been building up our garden each year and I will no longer be buying from this greenhouse. I would rather go to Sheridan nurseries or spring bank where the staff are knowledgeable. The staff at Mississauga greenhouse could not answer a simple question such as "is this a cherry tomato plant?" (There was no tag). Even though I live in the neighbourhood I would rather drive further and pay more. I hope the employees are family, otherwise there is no excuse to keep them.

I was actually happy with this place, till recently. I bought carnations bouquet (which was not so good, to be honest - flowers were too small - but I already spent my time coming there; the flowers were already packed and wrapped with the clear plastic), and when I brought them home, 5 (five!) flowers were broken, they were just packed there and fell down as soon as I unwrapped the bouquet, leaving the pure stems. That was disappointing and did not happen before. Besides, the customer service seems getting down: I saw two CSRs, one was busy with the customer, and the second did not pay attention to me, however I was standing at the cash register ready to pay. Guys, people are busy, they come here from their work, and try to do shopping quickly, please understand and cooperate.

We have been buying live Xmas trees for years from here, and never once been disappointed. Always fresh, and the guys wrap it and help you into the car. Have also bought lilies from here and they had a great selection.

The worst place to buy plants. Everything I have ever bought there was filled with fungus gnats, mealies or died prematurely. And every time I called for advice, they told me no refunds, or they lied. My bromeliad flower died within two weeks of purchasing. They told me it would rebloom. Nope, bromeliads only bloom once. I asked them for string of pearls plant, and they sold me a string of beads, telling me it just was immature and the beads would change shape into the desired round “pearl” shape. Nope! I purchased a spring planter, and had to keep it inside my home for a couple nights as it was still too cold outside. The planter was filled with fungus gnats that took ages to get rid of, and infected my other houseplants. I tried to return it and they said I couldn’t prove that I had purchased it there, even though I had a receipt and there was a metal shelving unit filled with the identical planters. I bought three foxglove plants at $20 each. One declined rapidly after planting, and shrivelled completely while the other two flourished. I asked to exchange the failed plant for a new one - common practice at greenhouses to guarantee their perennials for at least a year - and they said the plant would come back next year and they refused to exchange it. Guess what, the plant did not come back. Shop here if you don’t care about your plants or your money.

I always get very nice flowers from here at a very reasonable price. I have never had a problem with them dying earlier since mine have always lasted for a few weeks. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because I sometimes find the service isn't great but its not terrible by any means.

Always a pleasure to pop into this quiet and lovely little greenhouse. There's a wide variety of plants available -- comprising but not limited to: succulents, bonsai, bouquets, and plenty other unique flora -- with even more so in the warmer season, as they expand their space (and inventory) outdoors, to include several species of plants and flowers. There is a section for gardening/plant care supplies as well as a decent selection of colorful pots to purchase. The staff is personable, and have enough expertise to advise and answer questions. There are also two adorably animated birds sharing a cage in the greenhouse.

I come here at least once a month and I interact with different members of staff. Everyone is very nice and helpful. I like my fresh cut flowers so I gravitate to the left of the store. But most recently I had to find a potted plant for a picky relative and it was easy and stress free. They have a great selection. You'll always find something you like. Valentine's, mother's day is always packed. But it's organized you'll get everything you want.

The soil has a terrible smell to it. Unfortunately, I was told there is no guarantee on baskets....really one week? Not coming back.
