I had an unpleasant experience with this florist with an online order. I received a medium-sized floral arrangement that had, among other flowers, three light pink roses. All the roses had outer leaves with edges that were browning and were starting to shrivel and two of the white daises had lost half their petals. When there are five bad flowers in a single arrangement, it's very noticeable. I knew this would have been an expensive arrangement, and the purchase was a very heartfelt gesture on the part of the senders. I called Krupp Florist to report the condition of the arrangement. Joyce there offered to replace or credit the purchase. I talked to one of the senders who wanted to give the florist a chance to make things right, so I called back and asked for a replacement.
I received the replacement the next day. At first glance, I thought it might be okay, but then I noticed that, in addition to the arrangement being smaller that the first one, not having the all-around orientation, not being well designed or balanced and looking like it was a bunch of flowers just put in a rugged- looking glass vase, that unbelievably, again, there was a problem with the roses: two of the three had edges on the outer leaves that were browning and starting to shrivel! So to add to insult to injury, the replacement sent in response to my complaint was a half-hearted effort and repeated the original problem. Sending out arrangement that have some flowers that in in poor condition is not the right thing to do.
Had Krupp Florist contacted me that they did not have the exact flowers in very good condition to make the arrangement as it was ordered, and rather then send flowers in less-than-perfect condition, would I accept a substitution, I would have accepted that. But they chose, not once, but twice to send me compromised flowers thinking, I guess, that I wouldn't notice.
My family was trying to do something memorable for me on a special occasion The order was placed online from out of town, but was not locally fulfilled by this florist with quality product, high integrity and good faith. This experience left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.
