This is now my second disappointment with Coles. My children arranged to have this a flower arrangement sent to my home for my 41 anniversary, Sat. April,1 ..the Roses in this arrangement turned brown on Sunday, April 2.....for some odd reason the owners/staff at Coles get away with this in this town. Certainly does not look like a $60 flower arrangement. It is very hard to get a flower arrangement in Grimsby, and they are well aware of this. If you need a great arrangement drive a little further to a place called The Watering Can in Vineland, " EXQUISIT every time!

Need flowers? You've found your florist. I recently ordered flowers for a good friend of mine who turned 30. I've ordered flowers for her in the past and I regret not using Cole's Florist & Garden Centre back then. They are really an amazing company and they will go above and beyond to make their customers happy. Once I placed my order, they called me and asked if I would like a '30' balloon, instead of a Happy Birthday balloon. I said, yes, absolutely. Those small touches can really make a difference and I was happy that they thought to call me to ask. (In my birthday note I indicated that it was her 30th). They called me a second time because the purple flowers, which would ordinarily come with this bouquet, wasn't available but instead they could offer pink flowers. I told them that it wouldn't be a problem and I was actually very impressed that they asked my thoughts on it first. So many places substitute flowers without asking and I appreciated the call. Overall, it was a very wonderful experience, and it was so nice to support a local business instead of one of those larger, online companies that you never hear from. I will definitely order from them again! Thanks, Cole's! Ps: My friend loved her flowers :)

Everything is so pretty here. I’m thankful they are still open during this hard time because plant shopping makes me feel happy and is my only hobby for now when all the other entertainment/ coffee shops are closed due to the lockdown. Employees are super friendly and always check up on you to see if you have any questions about the plants. Great place to visit! I bought a Calathea Vittata and a Philodendron Birkin and a couple terracotta pots with a super affordable price compare to other garden centre.

Just discovered this fabulous garden centre and I've been there twice now in one week - driving from Oakville to Grimsby. Prices are amazing compared to my area. Beautiful tropical houseplants with many types that are not commonly seen. The outdoor selection thogh is absolutely huge, the fullest hanging baskets I've ever seen, and a great selection of trees and bushes. Well worth the drive!

My wife and I needed a few last minute white roses for an ill friend in the hospital so we quickly ran into Cole's. Keep in mind, this was in July, not Valentine's Day. First impressions of the business is that they probably have everything any well stocked garden centre would have. The flower shop (which is attached to the main garden sotre) has a decent selection of blooms. Their website states 'Beautiful Flowers. Real Value'. The real value here was getting ripped off when purchasing 4 stems of Vendela (White) roses. At $6 = tax per stem, not even the most expensive shop on Bloor street in Toronto would have the audacity to charge customers that price. I went to Oakville the next day and stopped in at a posh flower store on the LakeShore, high end items, and even they only charged $2.95 per stem for the EXACT same roses. Love the fact that Cole's doesn't post their cut flower prices, which should have been an indication right away that we're about to get gouged. Will definitely not be buying from Cole's again and it's unfortunate that this is how they run their business. There are plenty of other options.

They have their Christmas trees hung up and spaced so it’s very easy to pick out a tree with the shape you want. Workers cut the trunk for us and loaded it up on our vehicle and tied it down. Didn’t get a chance to look at their other products but, I was happy with what they helped me with.

The birthday girl who received the flowers was over the moon. The only direction I have was to use eucalyptus as a base (because of their beautiful smell and no need for too much greenery).... no carnations (because they’re not my favourite)... and quality over quantity. They made a full arrangement that suited my budget and I’m so happy about it!!

I purchased a small pump from the pond shop across the street from the florest. It was priced at $24.99. When I got to the cashier, I was charged $27.99. The girl informed me that the price marked on it was incorrect it had gone up and was $3.00 more. So pay attention when you cash out. Products are incorrectly priced and you may be gouged for more money and may not even realize it.

Cole's is awesome, they always have a ton of variety and are always fully stocked. I make my summer planters every year and sometimes it's hard to find the shade of orange I want in geraniums or new guinea impatiens and Cole's always has them. Highly recommend, quality and service is great.

They have a beautiful selection of plants and when I received them I was super happy with the quality. I placed a order for curbside pickup and my husband picked up the order on his way home from work. When he arrived, they did not ask for a order number, just the last name. I recently changed my last name so he gave them my new last name. In the email provided for pickup it states to have your confirmation email on hand (which I forwarded and sent to my husband). No where on the confirmation email stated my name, just the order number (which make sense). The person was in the establish for a few minutes and came out frustrated and short with my husband. In our eyes, something simple like that should not be enough to upset an employee. We spent $80 on indoor plants and I regret doing so based off the customer service. Again, beautiful products and selection. Customer service was not up to par. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering again.

I recently worked with Nancy at Cole's, who provided all of the flowers for my backyard wedding in Grimsby. Nancy was easy to work with and very helpful. It took only one meeting for her to understand the vision I had. After that only took a couple of emails and phone calls to confirm everything we needed. She provided bouquets and floral decorations, plus a variety of potted shrubs plants to decorate the area around our trailer washroom. She was flexible and also worked with us to plan for some arrangements/bouquets to be used a multiple event points (e.g. our bouquets doubled as our head table flowers, in addition to the lovely table runner of flowers she provided) so as to avoid waste. Setup on the day of went off without a hitch, and when I arrived at the wedding I was thrilled with how beautiful it all looked. If you're on the hunt for a local vendor to provide flowers or any other event then I strongly recommend working with Nancy. She did an incredible job. Thanks Nancy!

I called Coles Florist in Grimsby late in the afternoon to have flowers delivered the same day. The women who answered my call explained to me that she could not have flowers delivered because the driver left for the day. I asked if there was anyone else could send the flowers, I was told no but she gave me an alternative to send them out on the following business day. I told her politely that I could not wait and that I would have to find another way to send flowers. Her response was "whatever goodbye" and ended the phone call. I was shocked and disappointed to have been spoken to in such a way by a staff member of a place where I am a frequent customer. I was polite and understanding that the flowers could not be delivered. I was disgusted and felt that I did not deserve to be spoken to in such a manner. Unfortunately, I could not call earlier to make these arrangements because I was being discharged from the hospital. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable in any business and should not be tolerated. I am dismayed by the deteriorating level of service from your employee during my phone call and it should be noted as it is not professional and it reflects negatively on your business. This experience has left me to find another florist in Grimsby and I hope the manager at Cole's Florist can find a solution to ensure that customer service is their top priority so that no one experiences this level of service again. **The call was placed on March 16th, 2019 at 4:00pm.

On the advise of a co-worker I stopped in to your location to take a peek and possibly buy some flowers for my garden. I currently live in Simcoe on an old country estate that has many gardens that need tlc. When I walked in I was happily greeted by many of your employees which in this day and age is currently unheard of. As I walked around the greenhouse, I could not believe the vast number of plants and the quality of the product you sell- I was so amazed!!! I had trouble finding one particular plant I was after but I managed to flag down one of your many employees who was more than happy to assist and he was quick to show me where I could find the plant I was looking for. If I had a bigger vehicle I would have left with more than what I did-I did however purchase 2 Azaleas and 3 "Quick Fire Fab" Hydrangeas. I have to tell you that I enjoyed my visit to your store immensely from the greeting I received upon entry to the helpful employees that were ready, willing and able to assist.
