I placed an order last weekend to have some flowers delivered to my sister who had underwent brain surgery. The lady who took my order was very kind and assured me the flowers would be delivered the following morning. The next day, once the afternoon had rolled around I followed up to ensure the flowers had been delivered. She informed me that they had been and that hospital staff were responsible for delivering it to the patients room. After the flowers had not been delivered to the room, another follow up was done to see what the matter was with the hospital - who I might add were unable to provide a clear answer. Long story short... another arrangement was sent to my sisters residence free of charge after the first order had not reached her. Honestly, you don’t see these kind gestures made very often anymore by businesses. That is why I highly recommend Carisma florists. The quality of flowers and the customer service were top notch.

I've been going to Carisma for years and am always happy with the arrangements they make. We always order from Carisma for work events and they'll be doing our wedding soon. I know they'll bring our wedding to vision to life. Shout out to Sam and Sheila who always go above and beyond! Editing my review to add that Carisma did all the flower arrangements for our wedding this summer and they went above and beyond! Every arrangement was exactly what we planned for and everything was delivered/set up on time at the church and hall. If you're planning a wedding and not sure who to go with for flowers, definitely give them a call to make an appointment.

I wouldn't even give this florist one star for a review but had to click one star to be able to post. Had a funeral visitation on Sunday and ordered a beautiful flower arrangement from Carisma online and the flowers never showed up. Another family member had her flowers show up late. I emailed them asking what happened and all they replied with was "our apologies for your order not being delivered our systems were down" I have ordered flowers and family members as well have been ordering flowers from them for years and have had issues but put them aside but this time I decided not to. For a florist of their caliber to not deliver these flowers for a funeral is embarrassing and disappointing even their short response was disappointing. We are immediate family of the deceased and already are going through a hard time and didn't need something like this to deal with, but they pump out flowers like crazy and make money so who cares right? WRONG. I called in today to talk about the situation and the lady on the phone was less than helpful. Just gave a sorry our systems were down we upgraded them on Saturday and I said "quite the upgrade" she had no response to that. The upgrade is you don't get your flowers. I will never again recommend them to anyone I know this was the last straw for me.....thanks for ruining an already not so happy time in our lives.

We ordered a bereavement arrangement for my late aunt's funeral. We live in Alberta and were able to smoothly and quickly order one of their beautiful options, and they even accommodated us further by printing out a card we made with some messages from our side of the family. They even gave it a plastic sleeve and attached it to the arrangement. Wonderful service despite our distance!

Carisma is our go-to whenever we have to send flowers. I selected a beautiful bouquet online to have delivered the next day to a friend who had lost a loved one. They get so much business here that they don’t care to help people with specific delivery requests. The older lady they have working the front desk has a negative attitude that doesn’t lend itself well to being happy to help you. Thankfully there are other flower shops that don’t mind specific directions for flower delivery. If I ask you to deliver to the left side of a building, don’t tell me that you don’t want your driver “roaming around”. Get someone else to work the front counter.

I have lived in Mississauga for just over 3 years now, but never had cause to utilize a local florist. I asked a few of my co-workers and one recommended Carisma Florists as she had used them numerous times. I had a look at their website as I was in search of a unique "non-cookie cutter looking" funeral arrangement. At first, my impression was that it seemed rather average......I saw the "usual" selection of funeral arrangements that were stereotypical and then came across their special Sympathy selection. The "Novella" spoke to me. The next day I stopped in at the shop to have a look around. I was warmly greeted by Tricia and explained why I was there. I noticed the beautiful arrangements in the cooler and the florists working in the back shop creating breath taking arrangements for a wedding. I told Tricia what I was looking for and decided to order the Novella. A few days before my uncle left Calgary to attend the funeral, he stated that he and my aunt would like to send flowers. I recommended that he order from Carisma and have them add his order to mine for delivery. My uncle gave them a maximum dollar amount that he wanted to spend and they created a custom arrangement to compliment the Novella....and it did - beautifully! I know the cost of my arrangement was well above average and they did have plenty of time (2 weeks as it was a memorial) but due to the distance for delivery I anticipated a reasonable charge......NONE was applied! Both beautiful arrangements arrived on time to the funeral home in Markham and the compliments from friends and family never stopped. I now have "my" florist in Mississauga and will not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you Tricia and the staff at Carisma!

I ordered funeral flowers as per a picture Carisma had posted on the FTD Flower Delivery site. The person who answered was rude, made me feel like a nuisance, and then sent half the size of the arrangement that I thought it would be. Paid a pretty penny. It made it to the funeral okay but definitely did not stand out. This place used to be good...did the owner change? Maybe it's time for a change! NEVER going again. Try Mississauga Florists! I recommended them to my friend and hers were WAY nicer than mine!

So disappointed. I spent 125$ on flowers to be delivered to the hospital for my sister in law. She was having 2 twin girls I asked for pink Rose's and white lillies so I'tll be pink an bright and beautiful she had a very difficult pregnancy and a difficult labor. She sent me a photo of her flowers and It was all dark purples and burgundys and not a single lilly in sight. They said they put little Roses which were barely noticeable for 120$. So so disappointed. Thank god I didnt spend more on a larger bouquet. I've never been so disappointed in delivered flowers before. The instructions were simple and if they didnt have the flowers I requested they should have told me.

Last week I ordered flowers for my uncles funeral. At first I had a great customer service experience, however it did not end off great. Our order was wrong and not what we asked for. We were promised 80 roses, and got 40 roses for one arrangement and the other orders we asked for a mix of carnations and roses (I did not specify what colour) but all we got was pink roses... for my uncle. I didn't think I needed to say no pink. I called to voice my disappointment which led me speaking to 5 people that work there, who were all blaming each other for this mix up. Finally the store owner called me (Ron) and I have never been so disrespected. He yelled at me and said to never call or come into his store again... and that he doesn't want customers like me. Although I asked for 50% of my money back (which I thankfully got) he was rude, unprofessional and someone who is in the wrong business. I am grieving a loss, and having arguing over the worst flowers I have ever seen is just not right. I am getting married next year and I am SO HAPPY to not be using them for that special day. Save your time, energy and money. Go elsewhere.

They were very knowledgeable on flower and greenery types and flexible in creating exactly what we wanted. Although the flower arrangement was nice, the customer service was HORRIBLE. Someone ordered flowers for me on Valentines Day, but made a mistake and provided the wrong address. When I was called by Carisma Florists, instead of just asking what the address is politely, the woman was very rude! She was giving me attitude, and was huffing and puffing at me like a child. Then she told me off like it was my fault! On top of all that, she gave me some ridiculous excuse that because the order came from overseas that it would take days to speak to whoever placed the order to correct it so she had to call me, thereby ruining the surprise of flowers arriving. THAT is not even the main issue, I have just never been spoken to like that by a company offering services. I was extremely upset after this phone call. Thank you for ruining my Valentine's Day. Would NEVER recommend this company after that ridiculous exchange.

Amazing experience. I ordered an arrangement last minute for my aunt's birthday. I ordered at 9am and they were already at her place delivering it at 1pm the same day. The driver Sam was awesome. He gave me a call when he arrived at her place because she wasn't home and it was super hot out and he didn't want to leave the flowers outside in the heat. My aunt sent me a pic of the arrangement and it was gorgeous. Highly recommend. Very reasonably priced for the quality too.

I'm not sure if staff at Carisma are always this rude to customers, or if I just happened to walk in on the worst day of somebody's life. Or if this particular staff member just didn't like the look of me. But from the second I walked it, my hello was returned with a snort and a huff. I asked a couple of questions (whether they do carry out or would I have to advance order and horror of horrors: do they have tulips?) Again the staffer huffed and puffed like my very existence was the biggest inconvenience she has ever encountered in her life. And that was before she started getting properly rude. Ignoring every thing I said (outrageous things like how long will it take for my order to get ready) and rolling her eyes and then when literally throwing the bouquet I paid for at me like I was trying to apologize to her with flowers and she had simply had enough and would absolutely not accept my apology. Except this wasn't a particularly dramatic moment in our long established relationship. I don't know this lady or why she is so mad. I am a customer and she is a florist. I went to buy flowers and she demanded I pay upfront then proceeded to be so rude, it was actually funny. Don't go to Carsima, their bad day will result in you getting 50 dollars worth of flowers thrown in your face and a middle aged lady in a grey cardigan taking her problems out on you. There are three other florists within a mile radius. Go to any one of them or visit one of your exes who hate you, that will still be a more pleasant experience.

I have used Carisma for business and personal purposes when sending arrangements for some time. I just had surgery and received a garden basket as a gift and was really disappointed by the quality and presentation. I know I have sent the same arrangement to others and I'm embarrassed. I called Carisma to express my concern and was asked to send pictures which I did. The woman I spoke to said she would contact me the next day. I never heard from them. I don't think I will be using them again and this is after years of using them as our primary florist. Very disappointed.

Charisma Florists just did my daughter's wedding on June 29 -- the flower arrangements were all beautiful and looked absolutely amazing. I was so happy. On top of that they saved the day at the venue. The candlabras I rented to hold the flower centre pieces were terrible. Most came in slanted or wabbly and Carisma brought in beautiful tall Martini glasses to hold the flowers. They looked beautiful. We were over joyed. Beautiful work from great people. They are the ones to use for flowers.

Four orders and only one correct floral arrangement for a very important service.... Let me just start off with saying that Carisma Florist was highly recommended to my friend to order floral arrangements for her uncle's funeral. After a detailed call with one of the representatives, my friend was confident Carisma would deliver excellent floral arrangements on what you can imagine to be one of the most difficult days of her life - her uncles funeral service. Well that was NOT the case. My friend ordered red roses and mixed carnations for her uncle's funeral service, to her surprise PINK ROSES SHOWED UP to her uncle's funeral service and a shabby arrangement with ONE CARNATION. The floral arrangements were an eye sore at her uncle's funeral service. In hopes to get some relief and compensation, my friend proceeded to connect with representatives at Carisma to rectify the experience she had. After talking to four store reps within 48 hours, she finally got in contact with the owner (Ron). Fortunately, I was there for the call and witnessed the yelling coming from my friends phone after she had explained the situation, she had to BEG for some relief and a refund of some sort. Ron left her in tears and even told her "I don't like dealing with customers like you, never come into my store again or contact me". After finally agreeing to a refund of 50%, my friend was so distraught and embarrassed that she had to send her dad into the floral shop to collect the refund. Highly unprofessional service and unwilling to admit mistakes. Save your time, money and heartache.

Carisma Flowers did the floral arrangements and bouquets for my father’s wedding. The flowers were absolutely perfect. They looked so abundant and brought life to the table arrangements. My sister and I loved our bouquets. They were so full and Carisma made sure they matched our dresses perfectly. The arrangements tied the entire venue together and made each table look luxurious and elegant. They treated us like family at Carisma Flowers. Would 1,000% get any floral needs from Carisma again!

This was a gem! We ordered our wedding flowers from them and they were beyond phenomenal. I would totally recommend them to all my friends and family for all their floral needs. Service (5/5) We found out about this flower shop from a friend who recommended me contact Ron. After calling the store about ordering flowers for our wedding we were set-up with an appointment with Ron. When we met with Ron at the shop we went over all the items we needed for our wedding and we showed him some photos of the colours and look we were going for. Our experience was a very personalized experience here. Unfortunately, they are not very responsive through e-mails and it is best to contact them in-person or by phone for more complex/large orders like ours. Value (5/5) We ordered my bride's bouquet ($150), three bridesmaids bouquets ($85 each), four boutineers ($10 each), and two corsages ($20 each) and a table top floral arrangement ($75) from them for around $700 tax and shipping included! Many of the other stores we were inquiring from were quoting us around $1000 for this so we saved around $300 from ordering from them in comparison so other wedding floral shops. Shipping was only $10 for each address and we got half the flowers shipped to the groom's house and half to the bride's house which worked great for putting on the boutineers and corsages for the parents. Quality (5/5) The flowers were all very nicely packaged in cardboard boxes and safely kept so not as to damage the flowers. The bountineers and corsages were shipped in a box and each of them were inside little clear plastic bags with water inside so keep them staying fresh for longer. The bouquets were very beautiful and full. Please see my photos attached because words won't do them justice!!

We used Carisma for our wedding. Carisma is an outstanding florist. We Dealt with the owner, Ron, and his attention to detail was excellent. He made suggestions for flower types and colours and he was right on with everything he suggested. We shared other florists’ suggestions and he gave excellent reasons why other flower choices were better at that time of year. He was right. He’s Very knowledgeable and professional. Carisma’s prices are reasonable and in line with the going rates. On the wedding day Carisma delivered everything on time. The corsages, etc came to the homes early in the morning. The church flowers were perfect and on time. They moved everything to the hall and had it all set up The table settings were amazing. The flowers were stunningly gorgeous, fresh and long lasting. Of course the bride’s bouquet was over the top. I would recommend Carisma. Speak to Ron and he will take good care of you.

This was the most incredible experience Sam made my dream wedding come to life! I had been to several florists and all I kept getting was way over my budget and I was stressed out and in a panic Sam and his wonderful staff not only kept in my budget but put together exactly what I had wanted with a few extras! He did so well that I even asked him to help me with my centrepieces he took was was in my head and made it come to life and kept true to my budgets! I will never again go anywhere else. Tricia, I have read your reply to my review and now am even more concerned about the type of business you run. I was told by Sheila that she was the owner’s daughter (my husband, past Chairman of a hospital, was on speaker). Now that it’s been established who’s being untruthful I will continue. I requested white hydrangeas in the arrangement. Didn’t even get one-Sheila then insisted that hydrangeas are never put in sprays and she told me that. Well we know she didn’t advise me of such a policy. You and Sheila have both confirmed that your designer ignored my request for pale pink flowers and used what ever they wanted. Perhaps the designer should also pay for it. Another untruth is that the arrangement was to be delivered on Sunday for Monday morning. The daughter of the deceased was at the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and was told by the funeral director that flowers from Carisma had arrived earlier. Surprised she asked if he thought they would be ok till Monday-his reply-well they put a lot of water in it. Obviously, you do not follow COVID restrictions as you so claim. If you’d like to take on the funeral director, be my guest-again we know who is being untruthful. As you can see the handling of my complaint by phone was not even near eloquent! I would suggest that you record all communication with your customers in order to have some honest quality control.

Closing 5 minutes early So i called this flower shop at 5:46 pm on a saturday to inquire about if they sold sunflowers. I was informed that they did and they also said that they are closing soon (6pm). Knowing this, i rushed over to make sure i was able to get there before they closed. At 5:55pm, I parked my car and got to the shop anticipating that i could get my flowers for my girlfriend whom I was picking up from the airport within the hour. To my astonishment, when i walked in the shop, the young man said that it is 6pm and that they were already closed. He also said that everything was put away as 2 women (possibly owners) were leaving. The 2 women also informed me that it was already 6pm and that they already put everything away. They also denied even speaking to me om the phone, even though i called 10 minutes ago to inquire about sun flowers (i called a few places because not every flower shop has them). After a quick back and forth about what the time actually was (i didnt have my phone on me to show them the time) i left the store. When i got into my car, i saw that it litterally just turned 6pm. I drove up next to the store where the young man was leaving and confronted him on the matter. All he was able to muster was, "I dont know what to say". *****UPDATE***** Thank you for your reply. Obviously there was a miscommunication and I would of loved to speak with the person I was on the phone with. Regardless, I do not believe that your team should be closing the shop 5 minutes early and if it really was 6pm; they could of showed me on their phone instead of myself having to show the gentlemen that it was 6pm in my car after I had left. Since they didnt do that, my assumption was that they knew that they were closing 5 minutes early and just did not want to open up again just to serve one customer that just so happened to come right before closing since, as you said, it takes sometime to close. Im sure that this was just a one time thing and that they do not usually close 5 minutes early. But if it is a recurring issue then I would urge you to speak with your employees about it. Poor customer service. Bought a $45 arrangement for a special occasion and had it ruined because the flowers were already smelling bad and was only noticeable once in the car with the windows up. Called the store 20 minutes later to report this and was told the water may need changing -which wasn’t the solution - or one specific flower may have gone bad, surprisingly as I was told a few moments earlier in the conversation it was a fresh arrangement. The next day I called again as the smell only got worse and would fill any room it was in and was told I could bring it in the following morning first thing or I’d have to drive across town to get them and was told nothing of a strict 24 hour return policy. Upon attempting to return them I was again met with skepticism about the smell as if me or my partner were imagining things and even invited the person to smell my car after a few minutes of being left there with the windows up which was of course rejected. Instead the lady emphasized sun damage from being left in the car and tried to gouge me on the prices of the sun damaged flowers I offered to pay for - quoting me $25 damage for 3 flowers max on a $45 arrangement! When I inquired about how that price was reached she misquoted the cost of the entire arrangement and mistakenly said it was $35 when it was $45 ($50.85) after tax which she had to check on a calculator (Again poor customer service and further skepticism). After her gaffe, me not having the receipt was the next attempt to block a refund even though the same information is in their system and she remembers me from both phone conversations. After almost 10 minutes of back and forth and very poor customer service I assume she was tired and asked me what would satisfy me (question that should’ve began our conversation in my opinion) and I said $40 which was granted in further frustration and visible annoyance on her end. Save yourself the hassle and avoid doing business with this company. Response to response from owner: I appreciate the attempt at public damage control here but no, you were not "happy to replace the flowers or happy to refund the $45 back". My refund was only acrimoniously given after at least 10 minutes of your staff questioning me and suggesting I was somehow at fault for a "fresh" arrangement smelling very bad at the time of sale which was only realized when in a small enclosed space (my car) and later a room for a longer period of time, which was immediately brought to your attention over the phone on the drive from your establishment. I understand I should have had the receipt, but instead of using this as a reason to try to block a refund, even though you know a refund is possible without it, as was done after 10 minutes of your employee arguing with me, next time it would be in your best interest to skip the arguing with the customer altogether. Also, to your point of Mother Nature giving certain flowers beautiful smells and some not so much, this genius level of insight should be a part of your employee training for situations like this so if a customer is complaining of a bad smell, they should be believed, and not be challenged at every step and have your staff deflect fault on "sunburnt" petals which was not there leaving your store when the first complaint of a bad smell was made when I called your store while driving from the store. To prospective future customers, I hope it is evident that this business has not learned from this incident and does NOT value customer service or satisfaction.

Terrible Experience! I ordered flowers for my girlfriend who was having a really rough morning/day so I decided to try and make her feel better by sending a little thought. I placed the order at 9:15AM and it was going no more than a 15 min drive away. Keep in mind I ordered on a Thursday of a random not busy week... I called 3 times to follow up to see if they were delivered, with the last call being 3:00pm and she said it would take another 20 minutes until delivery. There goes brightening my girlfriend's day. Person on the phone said she was sorry it was put on a deliver truck that was delivering outside of Mississauga. I WILL NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS AGAIN.

Super happy with how easy and quick it was to order online. This was my first time ordering flowering to be delivered. I checked out other websites but the price and delivery was more expensive and the bouquets weren’t as nice. Carisma had much better selection and I absolutely loved the wooden rectangular box instead of the vase! I hadn’t seen any other companies that offers this unique look. I ordered the “better” option hoping it would be large enough, and it was definitely large enough! Super beautiful and just as pictured in the photo! I ordered next day delivery and received an email confirmation when it was delivered. Totally happy with Carisma and will definitely use them in the future!

I ordered a bouquet of roses for my daughter's dance recital as this was a very special day for her and our family. When I called in, I was quite taken aback as the lady I spoke with was fairly rude and left me on hold a few times in the phone conversation we had. I paid an extra $8 for delivery as I wanted her to be surprised before her recital. I had asked that the bouquet be delivered to the house before 12pm to make sure my daughter received it before she left, but it arrived late and she did not see the flowers until she came back (3 days later as the dance recital was out of town). In addition, the flowers were supposed to come with a teddy bear (the only reason why I paid the amount I did for that specific bouquet), but when it was delivered, the teddy bear was no where to be seen. Like I mentioned earlier, this was an important day for my daughter - I can not express my extreme disappointment. This was my first experience with Carisma Florist and undoubtedly will be my last.

I had chosen a customized bouquet from Carisma Florists. Selected chrysanthemum, white lily, carnations, roses, which appeared fresh with full blooms. The staff wrapped up my flowers with care and made it look great with baby's breath and greens. I liked that there was a damp green sponge at the bottom of the stems to keep the flowers fresh for the day. Service was efficient, and they answered all my questions over the phone and in person. Will come back in the future.
