I absolutely love this place! There is so much selection and there is a lovely cat that lives there and you can see him sleeping amongst all the flowers or bushes. Everyone seems to have a great deal of knowledge and such a wonderful smell of different flowers. Its a very large place and so you are never tripping over each other. Enough room for everyone. Great selection and a wonderful team you have ! Pricier place but great quality and worth it.

Great place to spend a few hours ! They have great citrus trees that are in season. Take a look at the cocktail tree 4-3 different types of citrus fruit on one tree. They have a generous array of beautiful succulents. ????

Peaceful place to spend 30 minutes to an hour if you're looking to unwind. Plenty of variety and species. Be weary to mimic the same conditions the plant was bought in when you have it home or else continue to buy plants that die however .

I came here and loved the selection of plants and the prices but noticed a very large number of pests that even with double and triple checking my plant I brought home still brought spider mites in with it. There is alot of plants here but I'm very sad with how many pests seemed to be all over them all. There was beautiful black magics but they all were covered in aphids and now ... My collection of plants at home are battling the spider mites even with repotting, new soil, and a wash. I probably won't come back because it's potentially ruined my plant collection if I can't stop this now. **Update I was able to drive back out and they refunded the price of one plant I lost. Although it didn't seem like they would agree there were any pests in the location even though it's clear there is... Confusing experience here. I probably won't be back. Sorry

Ordered flowers for Mothers day from here. Very disappointed in value. Looked like a $20 basket from the grocery store. Saw some great baskets on their Instagram but the basket they delivered looked pitiful. Minter contacted me and explained from their side why the basket did not meet my expectations and made arrangements remedy this issue. Give them marks for reacting to correct the situation.

They have a very wide selection of plants tropicals succulents Outdoors even air plants which can be hard to find sometimes they have beautiful pre-made gifts and kits that you can do yourself to make that perfect arrangements for whatever you need baby some things are a little pricey but considering what you get it's worth it definitely check them out if you're in the market for something unique

I have been going to Minter Country gardens since I was a young lady with my mom. It's changed a lot over the years in many ways, but it still is as inviting as it was the very first time I walked through those doors. Very inviting. The salespeople are very helpful and if they don't have an answer they don't hesitate to ask someone that does know the answer. The new additions are: A bulk tea blends store that is attached to the main store. Plus a cafe on the other side of the nursery. I asked someone going in how the food was and they said it was very fresh and delicious. That I'm going to try next...

I wanted to have my wedding invitation delivered to a friend in Chilliwack (I do not live in Chilliwack) with a bouquet of flowers. Joanne and Pauline were a delight to deal with. I mailed my invitation to them along with what I wanted done and they had the bouquet made up and delivered with the invitation the same day that they received it. The bouquet was huge and beautiful and more than I expected, being sight unseen. Well done!

I recently purchased a few plants and supplies here, sadly I wasn't treated very nice at all, I constantly had workers following my son and myself around like we were going to rob the place :/ alotho I didn't feel like spending a doller here, I did so to prove a point. The staff puddled around like they hated their job, and when adked for advice or help, they couldn't give a moment. I've been to many garden centre's and this is one I won't go back to. The cashier did make up for the awful customer service. So I give a star to the cashier and a star for the pretty plants. August 22 2018 Thank you Minter Gardens for replying, I do appreciate it, I love your store, everything is so beautiful. As a child, my father would take myself and siblings there every winter to buy a Christmas tree decorated with white snow. We loved the magical feeling that your store brought to us. My father served with the Chilliwack RCMP, and believed in supporting local businesses. I try to keep it a family tradition to go every year, with my own children. Sincerely thank you for the response and addressing the issue, it wouldn't be an easy task to do, and Yes I will be back :)

Just a nice relaxing place to visit. Brian the owner is a whirlwind of activity and is glad to help with advice. Onsite cafe and beautiful view from the back grounds. This past summer we hosted an engagement event in our backyard and working with minter gardens for the floral arrangements was the best decision we made. I cannot thank Minter Garden and Pauline enough for their hard work and amazing service. Pauline is incredibly welcoming, understanding and talented. Our family goes to Minter Gardens every Christmas for Santa photos, a train ride, popcorn and a trivia handout. All ofntheir staff is very friendly and helpful. We love that we can take our own Santa pictures and even our youngest (2 year old) can ride the train and enjoy all of the decorations while her older sister does the trivia sheet. The kids even get a candy bag once they finish the sheet. A perfect family Christmas activity.

So totally unaware that they were closing/closed when walking in, first my mother was greeted very rudely if you even want to call is greeted- she was told to pull her mask over her nose as if she was a child. And clearly the lady could see my mother had some sort of breathing issue as she does have asthma. And as we were browsing farther into the store after asking a price of a hanging basket and was told the price we kept browsing and the lady we asked the price ever so abruptly said to us in an almost condescending manner “ you know ladies, we closed at five”. I said no one told us upon arrival. We were not the only people Entering the store when we did. And it was 5:06 when she told us this. Very unprofessional. And rude. We won’t be coming back!!!

Fabulous selection of unique material that all were temptation to add to the garden. The staff here all hit high marks for customer approach and information. I talked to one staff and ideas told that Brian Minter the owner is always seen on floor meeting customers and answering questions. And on my next visit, sure enough there he is on the floor. Impressive..leading by example. In visits later i had brought in friend looking for cactus and my daughter looking for low light plants and was amazed at knowledge a top drawer lever of customer service. So, this was my first time here. Minter has a great reputation and the perennial selection didn't disappoint. I found there were a lot more of the wild flowers like foxglove, coneflowers, lupins, heather and lavender than nurserys closer to Vancouver. It was pretty exciting. We didn't look at annuals or trees so I'm not sure of their selection. Parking lot is massive, not hard to get to if you're in the valley, and the premises is large and has lots of garden accoutrements outside of plants. Mosquitoes were brutal: location is next to the slough or river so it was a feeding fest as we came in summer clothes with skin showing. It was awful so we got our perennials and got out. No looking around or browsing.

Senior and first time growing my own vegetables. The staff showed me around the store and asked what I was looking for. They directed me to different areas and stayed to ask me more in depth questions to narrow in on what they could do for me. I had no idea what my limits were and left feeling there were little to no limits. To me this is a "WOW" store.

Great selection of plants which are not so common at other nurseries. However, this place has pretty premium pricing... Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful wherever possible. Minter Country Garden also has lots of other stuff besides plants. There are garden and outdoor accents, indoor and outdoor garden supplies, seasonal specialties and florist shop for when you're in the doghouse with the wife. If going here in the Christmas season, Minters has a miniature train (small charge) set up that takes you through a decent lights display INSIDE the greenhouse... So you can be dry even on the most miserable day... There is also a minutes village setup which is quite elaborate.

We go here to buy most of our plants, trees, shrubs. They have staff with extensive knowledge about the products they carry. Their prices are simular to other nurseries and the stock they carry is amazing. As far as a retail nursery it's the best in chilliwack. There is also a little store that carries vintage home decor etc. It's called switzers in the same parking lot. Take some time to browse you won't be disappointed.

This place is huge and has almost everything one could want. Prices are... Ok. Thought that going directly to a nursery would be lots cheaper than a chain bigboxstore but its about the same. Indoor, outdoor, whatever is usually here. One exception is carnivorous plants. Flytraps... one species. That was it. Went there looking for sundews and tropical pitcher plants and left empty handed. Other than that there is tons of different plants of all kinds all times of year.

I called with no notice in hopes they’d carry a flower, that would come back yearly, and have the name of our family dog who passed away just yesterday. They were able to find what I wanted and three to choose from. We are very happy and forever grateful for the perfect flower to suite what we believed our girl to be. Beautiful.

Whenever I’m in Chilliwack I always make sure to visit Minter Country Gardens! Coming from snowy Alberta, it’s refreshing to walk into a garden center that’s always fully vibrant with healthy and beautiful plants. The staff are always very helpful and knowledgeable. If you need a gift for someone special, they have all sorts of neat options that you will see when you first walk in. Or you could stop in at the Aromatica tea shop located conveniently inside the garden centre. Plus if you go around lunch you can enjoy a coffee or some delicious food from the cafes. You definitely won’t be disappointed stopping in, even if you are just walking through to admire the flowers!

It was great, we went to the Christmas craft fair. No charge to get in, mostly reasonable prices for the crafts. The crafts weren't generic like you see at many craft fairs. The staff are always helpful.
