I hired AJR Designs to create a bridal bouquet, junior bridesmaid bouquet and floral crowns for my wedding in August 2021. Alyssa worked with me to create a stunning statement piece that wowed our wedding guests as well as our experienced wedding photographer. From carefully selecting florals that would both travel and age well (as our wedding was in the Gulf Islands) to swapping out several of her original suggestions to more closely meet my vision, Alyssa was extremely attentive to detail as well as incredibly easy to work with. My daughters wore their floral crowns all day comfortably and beautifully. All of Alyssa’s creations were beyond my expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her floral artistry to anyone in BC looking for an amazing florist for their wedding, event or “just because”.

I have no clue where to start with this! Our wedding planner, Michelle, found Alyssa and am I ever happy we have picked her as our florist. I had a vision of what I wanted on my wedding day and Alyssa exceeded my expectations. When she showed up the morning of the wedding I was so happy and couldn't believe the arrangements she did! The bouquets were beautiful, the bouts were exactly how I wanted them and the corsages were just stunning! Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I walked into our reception and saw the table garlands... yeah it got better, way better. You are amazing at what you do! Where to start with Alyssa! She was incredible to work with from day 1. We interviewed many florists before finding Alyssa and I am so glad we came across her because her work and attention to detail made this bride very happy! We planned for our big wedding in October of 2020 but due to covid we decide to postpone, then last minute decided to proceed with a small intimate ceremony. Alyssa provided me with a gorgeous bridal bouquet and even included some white roses when my Nonno passed away weeks before the wedding. She really cares about her clients and does everything in her power to make your dreams come true within your budget. Finally we got our big wedding this October and WOW!! Alyssa provided us with a bridal bouquet, bridal flower crown, wedding party arrangements, boutonnières, arch flowers, centrepiece arrangements and a few stand alone bouquets. I wish we had the photos back from the photographer to share because they were stunning! Alyssa had 3 wedding on the day ours was booked and she went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and was delivered on time. I would highly recommend Alyssa to other couples and anyone who is looking for a florist. Thank you for everything!

Alyssa is an amazing florists! I sent her a few pictures and colors of what I wanted and It turned put better than I imagined. I never thought I would love my bouquet so much that I would tear up. First of all, Alyssa is just a sweetheart. A pleasure to work with and a true professional. She is accommodating and I can tell, has a real passion for her business. Second, she's the crazy scientist of florals! The bouquet she whipped up for my private ceremony was GORGEOUS and so unique. She used a mix of some traditional looking wedding florals and other wacky, but pretty, accents to really capture the wistful & fun bouquet I didn't know I wanted. I'll be working with her again for another celebrating I'm having and she's already entertaining my wildest requests. She'll be designing decor that features florals, fruits and vegetables for a bold reception look that doubles as a sustainable gift for guests to take home. I highly recommend that anyone, especially brides who are a little more adventurous, to work with Alyssa - she won't disappoint!

Delightfully Wonderful Designs Alyssa at AJR designs was a late vendor addition for our wedding but one we could not have done without. We made a late decision to include greenery and a bridal bouquet and couldn't have been happier with the choice to do so. Alyssa was prompt, clear, and flexible working in a short timeline while also collaborating with us and our wedding planner to design a look that fit our vision while staying within our budget. The greenery and bouquet were stunning and a perfect addition to our final look of the day. We received numerous compliments for both from many of our guests. Alyssa did my wedding flowers for my wedding this past October on the 9th. Right from the very beginning when I was trying to find a florist everyone that I met with was unable to stay within my budget and create what I was looking for. When I found Alyssa she was so helpful and so excited to make my vision come true and made sure to stay within my budget. I was to initially get married March this year but s*** hit the fan and the world got shut down. Alyssa was of the many vendors I'm so thankful I had that stayed in constant communication and was able to rebook with me as soon as I got a new date this year. She was so helpful with creating what I wanted and helping me envision what it would look like. Our bouquets were even more beautiful than I could ever imagine I was blown away. Alyssa was also able to make me a flower crown that was initially for my flower girl, however because of our numbers she wasn't able to come so I opted to have one instead with no extra cost. It tied everything together and it made everything look so beautiful. The boutonnieres with the guys blue suits looked so great as well. Alyssa is amazing of what she does and even set the flowers and greenery up beautifully and decorated the signs with greenery. I would recommend Alyssa any day to anyone, and in these uncertain days with planning your wedding Alyssa is definitely one that you want on your team to help your dreams come true.

Alyssa's (AJR Designs) floral arrangements are so beautiful and we were both so happy with the bouquet and buttonniere she made for us on our wedding day. I actually planted a couple succulents from my bouquet and they're such a wonderful reminder of our special day. Alyssa was so easy to work with, she made sure we were on the same page for what I wanted, she was able to get my favourite flowers and made suggestions for flowers that were out of season. Absolutely Breathtaking! Alyssa was part of the PEAKS & VOWS team that we used for our helicopter elopement. I had no idea what I wanted and finally came up with the idea of black pampas grass and toffee roses as a start and left the rest up to her and I am SO, so glad I did. She created the most stunning bouquet, and everyone is still talking about it to this day!! She was easy to work with and my flowers exceeded expectations.
