So Disappointed after years of good service. I ordered the New Sensations bouquet right from their website and paid extra for the premium arrangement. When I picked it up, instead of the arrangement, I got what was arranged to look like a casket spray-No Resemblance to the pic. Their explanation was that they didn't know what the conversation I had with the employee taking the order was. They reluctantly offered to arrange it and when I returned to pick it up, it did look exactly like the pic on the website. I paid and left, got in the car and water spilled everywhere from the plastic covering the arrangement. Nothing from the vase, just inside the creases of the plastic. There was enough to soak my lap, seat and pants. I was furious, called to let them know and the condescending comment was it must've leaked from the vase. The pic shows how much water is in the plastic AFTER it spilled all over me-thats the left over. Suffice it to say this is the last time I will use Ridgeway and more because of the rude attitude than the flowers themselves. Laura

I ordered flowers for my mother-in-laws birthday on December 13th. They were to be delivered on the 13th. So imagine my disappointment when I received an email advising me they were delivered on December 7th. I had to call my mother-in-law and tell her it was the mistake of the florist. I wasn't because we forgot when her birthday was. She said it even said December 13th on the card. I double checked and it even said December 13th delivery on the order and confirmation. There was no reason for them to make such a mistake. How many other mistakes did they make that day. I received a call from Ridgeway and they are going to send something to my mother-in-law on her birthday as well. So I have upgraded my review.

Awful service! Friends ordered flowers and delt with the rudest owner ever! Flowers were not delivered on time, hung up on us when we called, and refussed to simply apologize for her company's error. We will not be ordering from here again.

Won't use Ridgeway again. What I ordered and what my friend got are very different. Clearly there were no substitutes added and just left out what they didn't have. I paid 120 bucks for that. While it's a lovely arrangement of some roses and greens that's not what I ordered. I order the 'Your sweet smile' if the picture doesn't show up below, you can see it on the website. Maybe a phone call would have helped?

I don’t know what has changed recently (new owner maybe) but after going here for 20+ years I will not return again. From the moment I entered the store I was made to feel like I was a bother to them. Had to wait for one lady to finish with a customer while the other lady brushed me off. Then the bouquet I got was very minimal for what I paid. Store looks empty, staff seem to be bothered by walk-ins, and I was told I had to pay by credit or debit as they had no change in the register. This florist has gone from top notch customer focus service to none at all.

Ridgeway Florist is a great little shop on the corner of Parkside, and Main street Waterdown. On your way home, stop in and grab your special someone a bouquet from there pre-ready $20 bundles. Just give them a knock at the door and a member is always happy to help, even during pandemic times. Check them out.

I've always had a terrific experience at Ridgeway. Their staff are knowledgable, patient, and very friendly. Arrangements tend to run on the pricier side, but are both beautiful and long-lasting. The parking lot is quite small and tricky to maneuver, which would be the only negative I can think of. Definitely a go-to spot for arrangements of any kind, and I should add that they off some of the most realistic artificial (silk) flower arrangements I have ever encountered!

Just before our big day, one colour of flower we had selected wasn't available. It was out of Ridgeway's control but we trusted them to do their best and they delivered big time. This is a few months late but felt strongly we had to comment on sympathy flower arrangement sent to our daughters. The arrangement was absolutely breathtaking!! I purchased flowers, "How Sweet it is Deluxe" from this shop's website. On the website, the picture shows over 10 roses with an assortment of other flowers. What I got is 2 roses and 6 horrible looking flowers with LOTS of green leaf filler. UNACCEPTABLE for spending over $100. When I took the flowers back to the shop, the woman working looked at me and said that is what I ordered and they can't control what the website shows. She then turned and walked away from me. HORRIBLE! Horrible customer service, horrible quality and a horrible arrangement.

I was very satisfied with the bouquet that I purchased last Friday for wife’s birthday .6 red roses and 4 pink . My wife is very good with flowers, cuts them etc. Now one week later the pinks ones are beautiful. The red ones are all shriveled up. Disappointed!!!

Called in at around 10am in desperate need of some flowers. I told them about my situation and they were very accommodating. Everyone I talked to on the phone was extremely nice and friendly.
