What your order is not what you get. I was so disappointed to receive a bouquet of primarily white flowers when I ordered a premium bouquet of multiple shades of purple flowers. Customer service did nothing to fix the situation. The response I received was that the value of what I received was the same and I was offered a coupon code for next time. Originally this post was starting as one star. But the local florist who handled my order redeemed them one extra star. I ordered a bouquet off of Canada Flowers for the first time. I was in awe of the selection, and spent a good 45 minutes selecting the perfect bouquet to have delivered to my mother, whom I can't visit right now due to COVID-19. I know she likes more unique flowers, so I found one that was orange, purple, and hot pink. On the day the flowers were to be delivered, I received a photo and thank you message from my mom, and I was in shock. The floral arrangement she received was nothing like what I had ordered. NOT. ONE. BIT. First of all, you can immediately see that not a single flower matches any of the colours I picked. Second, I ordered an arrangement that could be viewed 360 degrees, as a table centrepiece. Her arrangement was shaped as a fan, and unable to go as a centrepiece. Third, I ordered a Birthday arrangement, and what she received had a Mother's Day balloon in it. I emailed Canada Flowers to address the issue, and received an apology and a code for 15% off. All 3 times I have been on their website, there has already been a 15% off e-code, and I'm sure there would be again around any other holiday I may order flowers. I called their customer service to speak to someone directly and they told me 15% was the best they could do, and their substitution policy protected them from this. I understand substitutions, maybe the local florist doesn't have orange lilies... but this was a completely different arrangement from top to bottom. Now, we reached out to the local florist to see what the heck went on that this happened. The manager apologized, and explained that she was down 3 florists, and simply did not have the man power to make all of the bouquets for the overwhelming amount of orders she received. She said she had e-mailed the middle man to Canada Flowers, asking if they could replace the orders with their pre-made bouquets, and they were given the "OK". Which means they (Canada Flowers) knew that orders were going out completely wrong, without informing the customers this would be happening. The idea of "substitutions" makes me think of partial, some of, etc, not "throw out the order photo and stick whatever we have on the truck". The extra one star earned on this review goes to the floral department of the Mill Bay Thrifty Foods on Vancouver Island, who, of their own choice, offered my mom to come in and pick one of their smaller bouquets to make up for the error. They get no reimbursement from Canada Flowers, they just wanted to do what they could to help. I suppose I will consider using my 15% discount to purchase another overpriced bouquet of flowers, however, I am extremely hesitant now, knowing that I could order blue roses and my mother could receive pink carnations and that's just dandy according to Canada Flowers' substitution policy. I think I will just contact the local florist directly now, as they were the only positive aspect of this purchasing experience. First and last time ever ordering from Canada Flowers. We received a picture of the flowers once they arrived at their destination and it looks NOTHING like the image as advertised. It looked incomplete and not professionally done. Plus, the day after we ordered our flowers, we got an email that the iris with their affiliate in the area is not available, but would be substituted with lisianthus, which upon closer inspection doesn’t even look like they were added. Overall, poorly done and extremely disappointing for the amount that was paid to mark a special milestone birthday in the family.

I have used Canada Flowers for many years. I have had mostly positive experiences with both the quality of their product and their service. The last 3 times I have ordered flowers including this one, there have been issues with both. First, while I understand that at times the arrangement will look different from what I order due to supply and availability, lately this has become the rule and not the exception. Lillies seem to be the most common flower used in place of flowers not available. The arrangement for this order had no substitutions however and did look quite lovely once it was delivered. The issue with this order was delivery. It arrived 4 days later than promised. The recipient called twice to arrange delivery and received no call back. I finally called and spoke to someone who took no responsibility and blamed your affiliate for the delay. Your representative also implied that my recipient was to blame for not calling back. I explained to your representative that my recipient had in fact called twice and received no reply. My recipient should only have had to call once. They ended up finally speaking with someone on their third attempt. Lastly, it is both unprofessional and irresponsible to attempt to blame an affiliate that I as your customer have no knowledge of. It is a pure and simple lack of responsibility to your customers. I place all of my orders with Canada Flowers, I have no idea which of your affiliates will be completing the order when I do so. Nor should I need to bother myself with such information as your customer. Rather than an apology for the delay, I was fed feeble excuses. Not professional at all.

I've used Canada Flowers in the past and my experience then was wonderful.. however I'm not so pleased with my most recent order. The recipient informed me that the flowers were really pretty, but it didn't come with my note/message and that kinda messed up the surprise and made it a little awkward as I had to directly ask if she received the flowers I sent (and she obviously didn't even know they were from me).. so yeah! Also, I had included chocolates to go with the flowers and personally I think it's quite terrible that you can't choose what type of chocolates you want included. In my case the recipient got extra dark chocolates with the flowers and of course she doesn't like extra dark chocolate - who does anyway?! And so that just takes away from what should be a pleasant surprise and turns it into something lukewarm. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because I know the flowers are usually very well arranged and generally beautiful, otherwise I would have given a 2.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE HORRIFIC TO DEAL WITH AND UNWILLING TO RESOLVE ISSUES! I ordered a sympathy product via their website. I did not receive a confirmation email that it had been received and was sent back to the order page. I inputted the information again and then received the confirmation email. To my surprise, I was billed for 2 of the same item and 2 were shipped to the same person. I contacted them re the error and was told it was my fault as I had completed the form incorrectly (not putting in an email address the first time). Their site has no safeguards in place to stop an order going through even if the form is completed wrong! It does not tell you. I spoke with two CSR managers and was told they could pick up the 2nd plant from my grieving friend in order to give me a refund. Such empathy. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told they don't deal with the public! I have sent emails requesting a resolution, pointing out their website states I should have received a confirmation email (which I did for the 2nd order, because I was unaware the first had worked). Still, no supervisor will speak with me. The same CSR manager responded, offering me a discount on a future product. I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND SUGGEST YOU DONT EITHER. THEY WILL SCAM YOU. BE AWARE!!

I ordered the upgraded version and the flowers looked nothing like the picture and quite frankly looked embarassingly cheap. I called before I placed the order online to ensure that the flowers would be delivered in time for the recipient to receive them in work. They advised that delivery is between business hours no later than 4pm. I requested that if I order, my delivery will have a preference of earlier (preferably before 2pm). The lady replied to advise that she would leave a note to her delivery driver. I rang at 4.05pm to get update on delivery status/ confirm that they had been delivered as I didn’t hear anything from the recipient. I was put on hold but eventually hung up on to find out myself in that they arrived at 4pm or just after. I received an email shortly after saying that the flowers were dropped off at 3.45pm which they weren’t. I was advised it was delivered after 4pm as the receipt walked past reception as they were delivered (after 4pm). If I knew it was going to be delivered right at the deadline, or just after, I would of went else where. Flowers were a very good standard overall but Some were withered. I was so let down because they were delivered at the end of the day. Another person (from outside Canada) ordered to the same recipient from this company and the flowers were mostly withered too.I won’t be using or recommending this company again.

Of course, because of Covid, I had some hesitations because I am used to going into a store and choosing the arrangements, but of course with lockdown I was not able to so. I ordered 2 sympathy arrangements and site said there may be small changes due to shortages of different items. So of course I got nervous about ordering, but really loved the arrangements that were shown. I needed the flowers ordered for next day delivery and I ordered online around 9 at night by the time I chose my 2 arrangements. It was going to be -22 with the windchill and I was worried flowers would be left outside. But everything turned out perfect! The flowers were received and yes, they were slightly different from site but better! They looked upgraded! The family thought they were gorgeous and as well said, they may order from this site next time they need to order flowers! Bouquet was delivered on time however, all roses were pink and red, and the Card we selected was replaced by a different type. I am not even sure if they have storefront, and they seemed like one of those online shops that then just sell off your order to a physical shop. I’m from Canada and delivered to US. I ordered Friday and flowers were received Monday as advised. The bouquet looked every bit as good as the picture! Price was reasonable too. Would order from them again.

I have used Canada Flowers extensively to deliver flowers of sympathy to our staff at times of grief. They have been terrific to work with and are very attentive to requests. Unfortunately they contract out to affiliates and their affiliates are not always as helpful or reliable as the staff at Canada Flowers but Canada Flowers do their best to correct imperfections.

I ordered and paid for a Chriatmas centerpiece on December 14, 2020 through Canada Flowers website as I live in Oshawa, Ontario and unfamiliar with florists that would deliver to Alliston, Ontario. The centrepiece was to be delivered to my mother and father-in-law on December 22, 2020. Clearly the intent was for them to have this for their Christmas dinner table I received two confirmations from the company being the order itself and the confirmation of processing for the order to be delivered on the 22nd. Further, I received an email which indicated the delivery had taken place and inquired about the enjoyment of same by the recipient including a 'how did we do?' I asked my husband to confirm receipt of the centerpiece with his mother as we had not heard a thank you from them by December 24,2020. The centerpiece had not been delivered! Nor did I receive any kind or notification that by the company that it had been. I immediatley called the company and was on hold with the message that all customer service agents were busy and someone to be with you momentarily! I waited for an hour and 25 minutes with no one to answer my call. I emailed asking where the delivery was and why it had not been delivered. I requested a phone call in response to my email but did not get one. I received a very impersonal message that it would be investigated. I emailed back advising that I could confirm the delivery had not taken place, that it was was paid for on the 14th, and that it was particularly important becasue my mother in law had been ill. I asked for a phone call and never got one. I got a email stating that the delivery had not taken place with an offer to upgrade, provid a whole 15 percent discount and have it delivered, or cancel the order. I was livid! Clearly my emails were ignored with zero customer service or accountability! I had upgraded the centrepiece when I ordered it to include additional flowers and i what i should have been offered was the delivery to take place at no charge due to missing the Christmas delivery. I wanted to cancel the order but my mother in law was now obviously waiting to recive the center piece! Do not use this company! They have no customer service, no accountability and truly dont care about customer satisfaction. Seriously, an offer to give me 15 percent of the order back after learning there was no service at all. And to hide behind a computer screen to email me instead of picking up a phone and calling. Soooooo poor! I know customer service very well and this was the poorest treatment I have ever received! I would never recommend Canada Flowers to anyone! When my mother received the center on December 30th she advised that the florist indicated that they had just received the order. All they could so was blame it on the affiliate and use a system error as an excuse,,,, very poor. Unfortunately you have to rate in order to post and if I could have I would have given a minus rating! L. MacDougall

The flowers that were delivered did not look anything like the flowers I ordered. I also had to call on the schedules day of delivery to request an email notification of delivery which I never received. The only way I knew the flowers were delivered was to call back and ask Canada flowers directly. I am not happy with the flowers that were delivered and it was close to 4:30 pm in the day before they were delivered.

Ordered a nice pointsetta and a little teddy bear for my Mom. We just lost my Dad in August and this will be her first Christmas without him. She lives in a retirement home and due to Covid can only have one essential visitor, so she is very lonely and sad. This plant really cheered her up. it is almost like a little Christmas Tree, was decorated with some Christmas bows and little bells on the bottom and a cute snowflake at the top. The little bear was bigger than I thought it was going to be and she said it is so soft and cuddly. The plant is very nice and healthy too. She moved to a new city and I have never used this florist before. I will continue to use them. Very happy.

The arrangement plus delivery cost $98, it looked nothing like the online arrangement, due to "most of the flowers being unavailable" and was delivered late. When I expressed my concerns, any kind of reimbursement was refused and I was referred to their disclaimer that allows for substitutions when there is lack of availability.
