I ordered a $289.95 arrangement for my brother's celebration of life. We were REALLY disappointed with both the service and quality of the flowers delivered. The person who took my order messed up the pick up time which meant they had not even started the arrangement when I went to pick it up at 9:00 am. They did manage to deliver flowers to the venue in time for 11:00 am but, it was a mess. Petals were dropping and it most certainly did not look professional. We absolutely did not feel it was worth the money we paid for it. In all fairness to them, they did deliver the flowers for free to the venue and give us a box of chocolates. Unfortunately, what we really wanted was an arrangement of beautiful flowers - that did not happen. I would definitely avoid ordering flowers from them.

Terrible service!!! We ordered online from Calgary. What we ordered was half the size of the bouquet we paid for. The women tried to tell us they are "larger" roses, therefore we received fewer in the bouquet. When I called and complained, the employee was very irate trying to justify the costs. Not only was she unprofessional, her behaviour was child-like, yelling at me in the phone. If you value your money, of truly care about the person receiving the flowers, trust me, go somewhere else.

I ordered a Mothers Day Bouquet for $49.00 to be delivered ( an additional $15.00 ). Read on...the story ends well. I didn't feel the bouquet was quite as nice as it ought to have been (from a picture my mother sent me). I have made flower orders by phone at other flower shops many times and was never disappointed. And so I made a customer review reflecting this. On the next business day the owner must have read my review and she immediately called me to apologize and rectify the problem with a NEW bouquet for my mom. She was very polite, sincere and easy to talk to. I found out that there were difficulties at her end of the transaction with flower selection shortages and the volume of requests. Legitimate issues that can arise on these occasions. Needless to say this sort of customer service (follow up) is rare and deserves the Gold Standard. I will use this flower shop again because of the professional way the problem was handled and the (new) relationship I now have with this florist in Vernon.

Don't order from them. My father ordered my mother 12 roses for their 25th wedding anniversary and they were delivered to our house. The flowers looked nice, however, we got an unexpected second delivery of 12 more roses. We weren't sure who they were from but thought maybe was from another family member. We were getting various flowers delivered because of Covid19 and couldn't be with our family. The second bouquet was near identical to the first 12 roses so I put them all in a big vase and it looked really beautiful. The next day a man came to our house and said he was from the Vernon flower shop and said that the second bouquet of 12 roses was a mistake and they wanted the roses back... I understand it was a mistake but we didn't know and was frankly quite embarrassing. My mother is a quadriplegic and my father was in quarantine because of an important errand he needed to go to another city with high Covid cases and in no way he can risk the health of my mother. They weren't even able to spend their 25th together. This experience with the flower shop was very negative and it was their mistake they should've eaten up.

I felt REALLY EMBARRASSED when I ordered delivery of $90 bouquet of flowers for my girlfriend's birthday and she received a little tiny thing you can buy at Save On for $20. She probably had thought I cheaped out on her, but I didn't! It cost me $150 with delivery! In Van same bouquet would be at least 5 times bigger!!!

The Vernon Flower Shop is by far the best flower shop! They provide excellent customer service along with extremely, amazing, beautiful flower arrangements. I live all the way in Calgary and it makes me so happy to know that when I call for a flower arrangement, they go above and beyond with making it look absolutely incredible and so elegant. Knowing I can’t be there in person to deliver these flowers to my Mom, they take extra care in making the arrangements perfect and delivering for me. Ordered through Teleflora. Flowers were never delivered. Three days later emailed Teleflora to ask why not. They said they would contact Vernon Flower Shop and have them delivered by the next day. Two days later still not delivered. Phoned Teleflora. They had no excuses to pass on to me. No contact or notification from them to me. I had to make contact to find out where and what was happening with my order and to ask to be refunded. I won't be shopping Teleflora for any Vernon deliveries again. The Teleflora store in Victoria manages to deliver the same day I order. Why not in Vernon?

Terrible service. We were just there (May 8) and stood at the counter with an orchid, ready to pay for it and were totally ignored. After standing there for ten minutes we left, leaving the orchid on the counter. I guess they didn't want our 60 bucks. Then the owner responds with some excuse, that they were busy and if I had politely spoken to them and so on they might have helped me. And somehow my one star was changed to four stars. Anyway, it was all for the best. We got nicer orchids from Freshco at half the price.

Had some tulips delivered to try and impress my lady and was totally disgusted with the bouquet they sent out, I paid 35 dollars plus delivery, turns out I can go to the grocery store and get much nicer tulips for about 8 dollars . I will never go there again

Ordered an arrangement for Nana and didnt have all the delivery information. Staff went the extra mile to find all her info and make the delivery the same day even though i didnt order till 3:30. They even sent me a picture of the arrangment. Looked great!!!!

I was so disappointed in the arrangement I sent my Aunt on Dec 28 2019 for her 80th birthday. I spent $55.00 on an arrangement that literally would have cosy 9.99 at a grocery store. The flowers were already wilting when I saw them yesterday. So very disappointing. Do not trust that your getting what you pay for.

I ordered flowers to be delivered for my grandma's birthday and they left a voicemail the evening of the delivery date saying they were too busy and needed an additional $25 on top of the $15 delivery fee I already paid. I was listen to the voicemail before they closed (5:30) because I work. My grandma didn't recieve her flowers and it was too late to order with a different company. Very disappointed.

Called last minute for a bridal bouquet for an elopement...... Less than two hours before the elopement, this flower shop was helpful, kind, and cared. They assured me they could get the bridal bouquet done and delivered in two hours. Not only did they design a beautiful bouquet..... But they had it delivered 45 minutes after I called. Other flower shops laughed at me...... Yours delivered and went above and beyond. Thank you!!

My husband has regularly purchased flowers from this lovely shop and the flowers have always been beautiful and they’ve been very helpful to him when picking things out. Recently he purchased a larger plant that I absolutely loved and unfortunately after a couple weeks it started to wilt. I thought to myself, yep, here is another plant I’ve killed (I’ve killed many in my lifetime but thought I was getting better and have kept a few alive in recent years but am no green thumb by any means). I called Vernon Flower Shop for advice and to see what I’ve been doing wrong and they said to bring it in and they’ll try to bring him back to life. It was amazing customer service and I brought him down and they changed his soil and babied him for the day. When I picked him up I was glad he didn’t die completely (can you tell I really do love this plant.) He’s been home for almost a week and today I received a call from Melinda that she felt bad about what happened with the plant and there is a new one in the store. I must say, this is possibly the best customer service I have ever received. To some it may just be a plant, but it was important to me, and she saw that. It made my day, my week, and a big difference to me. In times like these this is a gesture that I won’t forget. This shop is a gem, and I recommend it to my friends and anyone who reads this.

We ordered flowers for Mothers' Day and received a confirmation number that everything went through without any problems. Then, we received an email stating that the flowers would be $30 more because the location was too far as in Lake Country. Originally, flowers were $110 and they wanted $30 more. I found the same bouquet close the my home town which was $45. I checked the reviews and noticed that someone bought flowers through Telefora. We decided to do the same, and got the same results. The flowers were not delivered. We did not receive a notice. Not sure if Telefora deals with this this florist.

This shop not only made me the most beautiful wdding boquet and flowers, they also supplied enormous arrangements for a family funeral. I send all my friends there for their wedding needs and they are always amazed with the results and bang for their buck!! And hey they have been supplying Vernon hospice house with weekly fresh arrangements for 16 years as a form of support and love for those grieving while loved ones are being cared for there. I can't say enough about them.

Some of my Best Friends and most exceptional humans are going through a tough time, so I thought flowers, may possibly brighten their day. This company went far beyond amazing customer service.
