Stay away from this place. I ordered flowers from Ila Shah for a funeral several days ahead and she would not give me an email confirmation, she kept making excuses so a day and a half later I cancelled the order in plenty of time ahead of them making the flowers. Ila said she credited the money back to my credit card but over a week later I called the credit card company to check (because I didn't trust anything about this place) and sure enough no refund was given. Now I am going through the credit cards dispute section to force a credit back to my account. I ordered through another place near by and instantly received a confirmation receipt and really nice flowers delivered on time. Stay away from this place, there are many other reputable places in Brampton to buy from.

We were guided by Ila in selecting flowers that worked with the colors we wanted, would work together in an arrangement and were seasonally available. She was patient, and offered great suggestions. The shop was very professional. I thought the arrangement was quite small for the amount I paid but I was assured by both my sisters that it was correct. I have never ordered a funeral bouquet before. It was delivered at no charge and on the correct day just shortly before the reception. The flowers were very fresh. They didn't have the yellow lilies the arrangement called for but I was informed about this the day after I ordered it. I would haved like some reference as to the size on line. The shop did suggest that it was a small arrangement for a funeral. I would certainly reccommend this flower shop.

Disappointed with the Florist Designed Bouquet I ordered for Mother's Day. I am sorry but this looks more like a grocery store bouquet than a 'florist designed' bouquet. Not to mention the front and center daisy arrived missing some of it's petals and the spidermum looks like its seen better days. I paid over $200 for the same quantity and quality flowers as Sobeys for $59.99. Sobeys included a Vase at their price too. Look at the photos and tell me if this is worth $211 and keep in mind the vase was not included!!! I expected a better arrangement for the price. I hate when companies like this take advantage of mothers days / Valentine's day rush. I reached out to the company to give them a chance to comment before I left this review, No Response so obviously they do not care about their customers.

I totally forgot your shop, just randomly saw it in my pics while removing old mobile data. I was in Brampton for some reason, living in Niagra falls. Thought, will not be able to make it until ships close over there. See this shop randomly went in. Waited for around 10 min, it was near to closing time, none of the boys were willing to help me or guide me. By knowing their intentions and rude faces I left the shop and later got my bouquet as well as big bear from Oakville superstore where it was recommended by one friend on the way, only place to get this stuff after 9 and it was a wise decision. Got is cheap, got it big. Anyhow thanks for reply. No worries. Life goes on. Cheers

My mom has been very ill this past month, in, out then in again to the hospital with serious conditions. This has taken it's toll physically but just as much, emotionally. The flowers brought her spirits up to a degree that I haven't heard in weeks. I'm in Alberta & she is in Ontario so I haven't been able to get out to be with her. So, let me say these flowers are fantastic! I haven't seen them but my mom & her hubby raved about them and this says a lot! And the delivery was very fast!! I ordered flowers for my mom for Mother's Day. I spent a large amount of money on them and I was very excited for them to arrive and see what they looked like. I am very disappointed with the flowers that were sent. For the amount of money that paid I was not expecting this arrangement for Mother's Day, the flowers remind me of an arrangement you would see in your hotel room during a tropical vacation. The flowers are nice don't get me wrong but this arrangement is not my idea when I think of an arrangement for Mother's day. Once again the price on top of it is not worth it for me. This flower shop is garbage doesn't even deserve a 1 star!! we ordered flowers and a balloon worth $100+ for valentines day and they never showed up for the delivery. so we called and asked for a refund and they said they would deliver the next day which is pointless since the day has already past, so the women said we will expect the refund after the family day long weekend. well the week is now over and its the next weekend, still no refund after calling multiple times and finally got a hold of a RUDE man saying they delivered (which they didn't) and that if we wanted a refund we had to return the invisible order which we haven't receive and don't even want anymore. WORST business ever and so unprofessional!!!! Beware and take your business elsewhere.

I purchased a bouquet called Sunny Sentiments, made up of Yellow Roses (My Favorite!) White Daisies, other yellow flowers, and lots of Ferns and other greens. It came in a lovely glass vase! They were, and days later, still are, lovely! The flowers are so perfect, you almost can't believe they are real, but of course they ARE! Flowers are hybridized similarly to fruits and vegetables, for hardiness, beauty and perfection, so any bouquet you buy should last a long time. I have had mine for three days and they look like they did the day they arrived! I ordered before the cutoff time for same day delivery, and the bouquet arrived around 5:00pm. That's very good service! The only thing I would suggest for this Florist, is that when Delivery Instructions are included (and asked for on the order form) they should be followed. The Delivery man left the bouquet, boxed and wrapped of course, and beautifully so...on the ground when I requested that it be left on a table I have provided in front of my door, and labeled, for such deliveries. Not everyone, like the elderly or people with mobility problems, can bend down to pick up some things, if it is heavy or awkward. This isn't a huge deal, but if you're not going to follow instructions, why ask for instructions? I do plan on buying another bouquet of Pink Roses in a few weeks. I am confident they will be beautiful and the service will be perfect!! I do recommend this Florist! You will LOVE the flowers!!

I went in looking for flowers for my girlfriends mom and the lady who owned the store knew EXACTLY what to get. We ordered the premium bouquet at the beginning of July. It arrived late, but more importantly, it is truly the ugliest bouquet we have ever sent. The main color is burgundy. There are a couple of yellow and orange flowers. Not one white, pink, purple, blue, or red... Very dreary fall colors at the beginning of the summer. We can't believe we waited half of the day, and paid so much extra for such an ugly bouquet. I have never written a negative review before, but this was such a disappointment.

I ordered $100 flower bouquet combo with teddy,card and chocolates for my wife yesterday for Valentine day Everything was good except box of chocolates. You would expect that while being charged $100, there would be tasty chocolates. They were like some cheap chocolates and horrible taste. My wife did not like them at all. I myself tried one and I must say they were totally awful tasting. Giving you one star so that hopefully you improve your stock of chocolates for next time.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Save your money and order else where. They sent out flowers with the wrong message and defeated the entire purpose of the occasion and ruined a special moment. After letting Nitin Shah know, he responded by saying he had too many emails and forgot to change the card and completely disregarded my issue and Wouldn't give any sort of compensation when I asked him and instead replied back with "Nice try!!" And ignored my email afterwards. I've never felt so disprespected nor met a business owner that treated customers in such manner. When you pay around $100 for flowers you expect a certain level of customer service and this was not met by far. I'm not sure why they think this is acceptable when they failed to deliver their promise. This is a business and treating customers and giving excuses for your mistake like that is not ok. I dont write reviews, however this one had to be done as this experience was EXTREMELY disappointing. Never Again!

Disappointed, nice lady on the phone, but I’m sorry if I am paying for a certain arrangement I should get what I paid for. You do not put purple with blue roses especially if the entire arrangement is supposed to be blue. “Blue without you” is the name of the arrangement. A call to let me know the blue orchids were not available would’ve been a nice thing to do otherwise you refund the customer you don’t replace it with ugly purple (whatever type of flowers/weeds) to replace the blue orchids. This was my first time placing an order here definitely my last!

Customer service: ⭐⭐⭐, Flower arrangement:⭐ I'm just leaving a very honest review and it's obviously very subjective so please refer to this review with a grain of salt. I ordered a Birthday Design (Deluxe) for $85, which came to $101.69 after standard service charge (tip), $5 discount, tax, 0 delivery fee. I first thought it was reasonable until I saw the photos of the flowers from my friend who I ordered the service for. I'm pretty content with the service itself, how punctual/prompt the delivery was. In fact the birthday lady loved the surprise and was very happy, which made me happy. It's a great service offered in the middle of pandemic where small gatherings are not allowed so I'm very thankful for the delivery. However, I honestly wish the flower arrangement had turned out a lot better. I ordered the florist's choice of birthday design because I wanted to trust their judgement and creativity but the outcome doesn't seem to meet the expectations. The colours, decorations... all of them look very old fashioned like from 80's or something. I particularly emailed them saying my friend's turning 40 wishing them to design it accordingly but I don't know what they thought. I do regret not having picked a particular design from the website because most of the options I see look a lot better than what I paid for. It's embarrassing how mine turned out like this compared to all the photos I see from the reviews. I picked "seasonal flowers" as a theme(?) but not sure if they're all seasonal. Look how there's barely flowers in the back. it's just very poorly arranged and I'm genuinely disappointed. I am sorry that I can't give you more than one star for your hard work but I just can't be more generous than leaving one star for the design. I just can't. It's amazing that you made the delivery on time and all, but it's the flower arrangement that's the most important here.

Flowers delivered a day early in Brampton. They didn't know what was going on. The driver was rude when he called me. They didn't respond to me to fix a typo for the card. The woman interrupted me several times on the phone when I was trying to ask questions. I told them to leave the flowers there, I have yet to find out if they followed that instruction. This is coming from a person all the way in the Ottawa Valley. Will not ever be receiving my service in the future. Update: they did not follow the instructions ... lol they asked me to remove this review because they gave me half a refund. why would I do that when they have such terrible service. The first review of this place on Google they also asked that person to remove their one star rating. Stay away from this place. Way too stressful just to buy friggin flowers for a loved one. Ridiculous.

Very disappointed....read On..... My elderly mother ordered flowers through a local flower shop in her home town and had flowers sent to Brampton for my daughters bridal shower through Shalimar Flower Shop. The flowers cost her 70$ to send and were in a green metal basket. The arrangement consisted of about four tulips and three hyacinth plants. They arrived on Friday. By Saturday, despite watering they were drooping. On Sunday it was my daughters bridal shower and they were really drooping by this point. With in another two days the leaves were brown so I had to remove them from the house. My mom was so embarrassed at the poor quality that she actually complained to her florist in Cobourg.The florist contacted Shalimar who informed us there was nothing they could do at this point. Feeling very upset that my mom has been taken advantage of. As a 30 year Brampton resident I will NEVER use Shalimar. As well my mothers florist in Cobourg has vowed to send their FTD orders elsewhere.

We used Shalimar for the floral arrangements for my brother's wedding. Everything looked so perfect that I decided to order a bouquet for mother's day. Sad to say that I was very disappointed. For the price I paid for the deluxe arrangement, we got very little. A $20 Costco bouquet has better flowers and more variety.

I live in the US and I ordered sympathy flowers for a relative in Brampton. Shalimar's website was easy to select, order, and pay. I immediately got a text message with the details. There were a few other details to work out like delivery because of bad weather, covid protocols for delivery, and the card message. Nitin at Shalimar was friendly, helpful and flexible on the phone. He went over and beyond with his service. I would definitely order from them again, and I would recommend them if you want delivery in the area, but you don't live in the area.

I came into the shop to pick out flowers for a casket spray for our father’s funeral. We only had vague ideas of what we wanted. We were guided by Ila in selecting flowers that worked with the colors we wanted, would work together in an arrangement and were seasonally available. She was patient, and offered great suggestions. We were so happy with the service we returned the next day to order more flowers (from his grandchildren, and from our mom/his wife). I normally NEVER leave reviews however I felt I needed to in this case. Long story short: I placed an order on Valentine’s Day and paid for AM delivery (before noon) on the day of the 14th, as my wife finishes work at 2pm, and the store told me they guarantee delivery up till 5pm and to select the AM option which I did. After about 8 calls in which 4 were answered my wife finally got her delivery at 230, she had to go back to work to get. Don’t advertise something you cannot deliver. I chose this location because they offered AM DELIVERY. Never again will I use this place, will use a reputable flower shop next time, lesson learnt!

My mom's birthday fell on a Sunday, and she lives in Caledon. It was so hard to find a florist that does deliveries on Sundays, but Shalimar came to my rescue! Great website that's easy to use, beautiful arrangements, and fast delivery! I placed my order Sunday morning and it got delivered Sunday afternoon, and delivery was about $10. My mom called me crying because she absolutely adores them :)
