The female owner's greed and yelling left me shaking + upset on Mother's Day. My 93yr mum just moved into assisted living at Kingsmere Retirement Home and I wanted to get her a lovely big flower arrangement for the upcoming Mother's Day. I drove to Lady Di flowers in Alliston and the three ladies working were very busy so for about 15 minutes I looked at the flowers and patted the shop cat. With the staff so busy I felt awkward asking for assistance but one of the women did help me with my selection. She was kind to tell me the names of two lilies. I also chose flowers in sets of three to represent my mother, sister and me. As I pointed out my choice and colour of flowers the lady wrote it down and my order came to about $124 dollars which I paid with my credit card. A few days later when I arrived to visit my mum on Mother's Day I was shocked to see how small the flower arrangement was. The were four flowers missing. I called Lady Di and the woman was apologetic. She agreed four flowers were missing and asked what I'd like to do. I suggested a refund but she said she had to charge me for the labour, flowers and the vase. I asked how she could charge the full labour amount since I didn't get a full arrangement. Then she said the girl had only forgotten to put one flower in cuz she hadn't written down the other three flowers. Since I live in Toronto I had to drive to the shop before they closed to get the small refund. I got to the shop and a lady there said she'd take care of it but things escalated... She started saying anyone can make a mistake including me. I said yes, I agreed. I spotted the shop cat and started talking and patting him. The lady wanted to see my receipt but since I didn't anticipate I would need it I didn't bring it from Toronto. She then asked for my credit card to apply a small refund. Fine. Suddenly, she says, 'look what you made me do... instead of refunding you I charged you for the flowers again... it's your fault I'm angry'. I couldn't believe that she just blamed me for making her angry AND double charging me. I felt very uncomfortable with her aggression so I tried to diffuse it by turning to the cat and patting him. This set the lady off. She screamed at me, "DON'T TOUCH MY CAT". I was stunned. Who acts like that? But I told her, "yes I will respect you and not pat your cat." I asked her her name and she said Evlynn and pointed to her chest saying in a loud voice that she was the owner. I said I might write a Google review about my unpleasant experience and she pulled the credit card machine away from me and said, "you're going to slam me on Google then I'm not refund you". I told her it's not right to charge me for flowers my mum didn't receive regardless if someone writes a review or not. I told her I simply wanted to get back to my mother who was unwell and on morphine and I'd never order flowers with Lady Di again. In a rude voice she said again that I must make mistakes. I told her this is so unnecessary to argue over something as beautiful as flowers and please mind her anger because my phone was on recording. She said I was "very devious to record her and maybe she'll start recording everyone". I told her what she does is not my business but when in a difficult situation it is wise to record. It also let her step back and try behaving more professionally. A mild mannered gentleman seated in the store spoke up at this point saying to Evelyn, "since she is recording why don't you offer her to go pick up the flowers from her mum and give her a full refund?" I thanked the gentleman for the offer (but thinking to myself at this point it would be weird for my mum seeing me take her flowers away). The gentleman also suggested that since the recording was on that she should explain to me the breakdown of the refund". I thanked the gentleman for his calm presence. Once refunded I said bye to the cat and left. I think the owner is short sighted, rude and greedy and trust the recording will fully support my version of events.

We just recently had the pleasure of meeting with Ellen to discuss our wedding flowers (after we had been to another florist who literally told us that our centerpieces were beneath them because they're "designers"). Ellen not only had no problem creating what we were looking for, but she took the time to sit with us and walk us through each arrangement from centerpieces to bouquets to boutonnieres. She pulled out countless flowers to give us an idea of what it would look like. Ellen was so friendly and helpful - we can't wait to see our flowers on our wedding day! UPDATE: The flowers turned out perfect - exactly what we'd imagined! The flowers were beautiful, fresh, and Ellen made sure they were there on time (early even!). We really appreciated all she did for us. We had forgotten to order petals for our flower girl, but Ellen made sure to remember even the smallest detail.

Over the last year the team has gone above and beyond to deliver flower arrangements to my grandmother. They arranged to have the vases swapped out every month so my grandmother could benefit from fresh flowers but not accumulate vases in her senior residence room. I would often hear stories about the lovely conversations they would have each month on delivery. When my grandmother passed, the team created a massive custom piece for her funeral that was exactly what we were envisioning. I challenged them to make it in a way that we could separate it into three parts for family to take home after and by some stroke of genius they made it happen! I couldn’t be more pleased! I ordered them in the early afternoon and was told she would try to get the arrangement to its destination by late afternoon even though I was happy with the next day. I purchased a bouquet about a month prior to my wife's birthday. Arrived the day of and picked up my flowers. The arrangement was gorgeous and the flowers pristine but the size was extremely disappointing. Complete ripoff. I paid nearly $200 for a bouquet that can fit in the palm of my hand. Even other florists saw the bouquet and informed me that I was ripped off.
