They have tons of gifts inside and they make gourmet chocolates there too! Huge selection of chocolates, unique selfcare gifts, and fresh flowers obviously. They offer gift baskets with chocolate selections, or other gift items. Tons of containers, nice plant selection and they are really helpful. Flowers always last a long time, very good quality. Been a customer for years and will continue to support them and Belfry Chocolates as the staff is awesome! Thanks guys.

I ordered a plant basket for Mother's Day. I understand that it's a busy time and items are subject to availability, but Bern's substituted the wooden basket for an ugly metal bucket, and short, colourful flowers for tall, white lilies...not remotely similar, and not something I (or my mom) like. For a $100 item, I'd expect them to at least ask whether this substitution was okay. It wasn't. Won't use again.

Received a flower arrangement on Mother's Day that has to be one of the most beautiful arrangements I've ever received. The flowers were fresh and five days later, they still look like I just received them. Their service was awesome (delivering on Sunday/Mother's Day). We also ordered flowers at the last minute for my mother-in-law and they were very accommodating and were able to deliver in time. Great job and very highly recommended!

We are new to Alliston and so have only had two experiences with this lovely florist. My birthday was April of 2020 and my mom sent me very beautiful flowers as it was a difficult time and we could not celebrate my 30th together, due to the lockdown. The flowers delivered on time, safely and contactless. They ensured someone was home, they knocked and the lovely delivery man waved from the road in his delivery van. It was a lovely surprise and the flower arrangement was gorgeous. Fresh cut flowers and a birthday balloon! The second experience was not a happy one (due to why I was getting flowers) as I had surgery and my Mom sent me some get well flowers. Unfortunately, my emergency surgery was on Christmas Eve so naturally most places are closed for the holidays. My mom told me she called on the day they were closed anyways just to try and despite the fact that that it was a stat holiday, they called her back anyways. How amazing! This is the beauty of shopping locally. The personal touch, compassion and care that goes into their business is just over the top. They told my mom they were receiving some fresh flowers and would help her with the order once they arrived. They did! I received a beautiful bouquet once again and it’s sitting in the window next to my bed now and smell amazing. They came in a beautiful large vase. I received a call ahead, the delivery person wore a mask and delivered to the porch, contactless once again. This business goes above and beyond. I am so grateful for these types of people and living in this community. Thank you for being an amazing business and truly caring for your customers well being, safety and providing excellent products and service. You deserve a higher rating than 5 stars and you helped make my recovery a little easier.

I have ordered flowers from Bern's several times. The flowers are always fresh and beautiful and seem to last a long time. This past order, I ordered late in the day and still Berns delivered exactly as hoped and still was able to deliver on time! Hats off to Berns Flowers!!! I would highly recommend this florist. We met with Sharon the owner and she helped us select our centrepieces and bouquets for our special day. Best Flower Shop Around & I've tried them ALL! I like to surprise my wife with random bouquets and Sharon always assists me in picking just the right one. They also offer Christmas wreaths and urn fillers and I occasionally get them from here. A bit pricer (hence my 4 star) then say Bradford green houses but I like to shop local. That being said; Zehrs flowers offer a less expensive alternative depending on occasion but the quality is really nice from Berns. Plus they allow dogs in store! I love seeing benny almost every visit.

My daughter and son in law were married at Water Stone Estates in Newmarket on June 16th of this year.The two of them live in Spain so I planned the wedding, when it came to the flowers I went to see Sharon at Berns flowers in Alliston after several recommendations. After several consultations I had the utmost faith in Sharon to go ahead and do whatever she thought was the best for Magen's colour selection and also what was fitting for the venue. I can honestly say I was in awe at the wonderful job that Sharon and her staff did. My daughter was delighted and even the staff at Waterstone commented on how beautiful the venue looked. Three weeks later the centrepiece that I brought home was still alive. I wish to thank Sharon and her staff for all their hard work and patience especially listening to me as I am not easy to please. You knew exactly what I had in mind and didn't disappoint. It was a magical , beautiful wedding, that I will never forget. Thankyou again

I recently got married at the beginning of April, and Bern's Flowers was fantastic. From the moment I communicated with Sharon on the phone I was really happy with her kind and helpful nature. I made several changes and requests throughout because I kept changing my mind on flowers :) even with all the adjustments, Sharon never hesitated or showed resistance - she simply changed my preferences immediately and worked with my budget and vision, which i really appreciated. She never made me feel like I was "bugging" her. She was patient, pleasant, provided great recommendations on flower ideas as I didn't know some of the names, and was prompt with her replies every time. The bouquets, center pieces and the rest of the wedding party flowers were beautifully arranged and more gorgeous than I even anticipated in my mind. Everything was ready to be picked up on time, and arranged exactly as discussed. I would highly suggest using Bern's for your wedding. They are personable and truly care about their customers! Thanks again for all your help Sharon! You were so great to work with and we LOVED the flowers! :)

The flowers here are not cheap they are double what you could buy them for online or any other reasonable flower shop. The customer service is terrible any complaints will fall on deaf ears and they are not honest and very arrogant. I don't know how they have stayed in business for as long as they have. I think when they find out you are not from the area they rip you off. If you have money to burn buy your flowers at Bern's. I wouldn't recommend.

Have to give 1 star as -10 isn't available! Ordered flowers online for a funeral through ftd and burns was company dispatched to supply an arrangement. Living three hours away thought all looked after and paid for . Get to funeral to find no flowers as burns decided that wanted more money for fixed price display but just cancelled order without telling anyone !!!! I don't recommend this place at all!! Sounds like oh these people are to far away to even see the flowers dont bother and just take the payment!!!

In a panic, I contacted Bern's flowers to make up two replacement bouquets just hours before the ceremony. I had a very disappointing experience with Bern's. They were recommended to us for our wedding flowers and they were extremely unprofessional and unaccommodating from the very beginning. We showed up on time for our appointment only to be told that we would have to wait 30 minutes. When we finally did sit down with the florist, she provided us with no ideas, just latched onto the one photo that we kind of liked in her book of weddings she'd done previously. We were not shown any alternative options, no suggestions were given, she didn't show us any flowers whatsoever. We're not professional florists so we weren't sure of exactly what we were looking for and some suggestions would have been extremely helpful. After we left feeling quite underwhelmed, we found more photos online to narrow down what we were looking for and were told that our selections for our centerpieces were too "basic" for professional designers and we should probably just purchase flowers and do it ourselves. The whole experience was extremely disheartening but luckily we were able to find another florist in the area who was open to our ideas and had no problems offering suggestions or showing us examples of the flowers she was talking about.

I can attest to another review on here that Bern's is not honest! I am not from the area, so was placing an order for family that lives in town. I showed them what I wanted via a webpage from Teleflora that we were both on at the same time. My family received the flowers and took a picture and sent to me. It wasn't the same beautiful arrangement that I had chosen at all! When I sent Bern's an e-mail of both arrangements (the one I had picked and the one they sent), they replied that I was told on the phone that they didn't have the yellow lilies or purple stock that was shown in the picture. That was an out and out lie! I was never told any such thing! No offer to reimburse any amount to my credit card and absolutely no apology. Great way to run a business! They should be ashamed! P.S. I didn't want to give the one star, but there was no other option.

I had a pretty(in colour) arrangement delivered but some of the flowers were old, looked like they were from 2 weeks ago, brown, dry spots on them and some had open fully as well. I called to let them know that it wasn't the freshest flowers I have had delivered. The lady said that it was normal for some of them to look that way but they would send over another arrangement. The second one was much worse than the first for having dried old flowers and the colours were horrible! I now feel I am stuck with this awful looking arrangement that a family member paid good money for!! I will not use this flower shop and will advise my family to use the other shops in town.

This place has terrible service. Flowers were supposed to be delivered as a surprise from my husband to my office before I left work on Valentine's day. They called me at lunch and told me ahead of time ruining his surprise. Then ask what time im there to...I told them i work until 4pm. They never showed up!! They are only 15 minutes away! Then my husband calls them and then they say well we dont give guarantees that they will be delivered on time??? They had ALL DAY!!! And never said when he ordered them they they cant guarantee that they will be delivered while my office is open!

I had a great experience with Bern's for my wedding. They were so helpful when suggesting flowers and showing me examples so I could visualize if I didn't know the flowers name. They were so patient and helpful as I tried to explain my vision for the flowers. I kept changing my mind a few times during our first meeting and she went with the flow so well and easily updated the list of what I was requesting. She stuck to my vision while including her professional opinion to help me come to the best order for my aesthetic and budget requirements. They even allowed two pick up times to accommodate the later start of my wedding night so I could have the tables decorated early but have fresh bouquets for pictures. The buckets of flowers/greens were labeled so it was easy to know how much of each type they suggested we use for what purpose which was very helpful but not limiting. I could go on! I’m not sure how their prices compare to other florists but I’d say it was worth every penny I paid. I didn’t worry about the flowers once on my day..

I needed a very special delivery made to a very special niece. After scouring online flower shops, I determined that ordering from a local shop was the way to go. Perusing Bern's website, and after calling them up and talking to a "LIVE" human !, lol, I knew that this was the place!! I was not disappointed. My niece was beyond delighted.
